Tonight was amazing. Absolutely amazing local band. Great food as always, but the stellar wait staff made it so rewarding. Dirty Miners daughter or dirty northern are the only places i choose to eat when in Whitehorse. I regret not buying a CD from the band. I hope I get a chance again. This place knows how to use pistachios in ways that shouldn't be possible but truly nail it. Love this place

Aspires to big city quality, and features a menu of trendy items from down south. The ambience is okay, if just a moderately-customized facsimile of the hipster joints in Vancouver. The food that comes out of the kitchen is just so-so. It would be okay if everything wasn't so steeply priced. Still, Whitehorse has a real dearth of quality eateries and this is one of the better ones.

I'll go again and again for one specific vegetarian dish: the roasted cauliflower and chickpeas. Seriously, even if you're not a veg, TRY THIS! So damn delicious!! My partner loved his burger and they have great happy hour and daily specials. Great decor in this place too.

I did not enjoy the table we were seated at, depaote making a reservation for dinner we were seated at a spot more cocktail appropriate with lounge chairs and a very low table. This was very uncomfortable to eat dinner. Food was okay, nothing spectacular. Glass for cocktail was dirty, was left waiting a long time to get checked up on for more drinks, only ended up having 2 over 3 hours. Very noisy. It's nice inside, but just not the vibe for a nice dinner out.

Unfortunately their tables on the windows had not been cleaned. They were covered in Ketchup spots or another sticky substance all over. The table beside us, a couple from Toronto, had an equally dirty table and started wiping their table with their personal wet wipes. They offered us some and we did the same to prevent getting someone else's food all over our sleeves. Finally the waitress came and we asked her politely to please wipe both of our tables. She wiped them again in patches instead of going all over the table properly. The wine glasses were super dirty. The base of the glass and the stem was covered in huge stains and the glass bowl had a lot of visible water stains all over. It's super embarrassing for the Whitehorse restaurant industry if a place like Miner 's Daughter cannot train their staff properly to wipe tables or polish wine glasses after they come out of the dish washer. That's something you would not even offer your guests at home!!! The rest of the restaurant is pretty dark so I guess you wouldn't even be able to see the dirty glasses there. We asked kindly if the music could be lowered just a touch as it was hard to talk with what was a loud mix between 90s and disco. The waitress told us that the staff had strict instructions from the manager never to touch the music, not even the volume. Ok. thanks for that help! The food was mostly ok although the Tuna appetizer was prepared who knows when. The Tuna had a touch of fishiness and the Avocado slices were already dark or in other words oxidized. So definitely not made fresh. The fries were completely soaked in deep frier oil. They were so soogy and no crispiness left. So as long term Yukoners we left our dinner night again somewhat disappointed with and equally embarrassed about the Yukon service industry. But what else is new!!

When I was here last winter I visited this place late into the evening and asked if I could get some food and was told yes. By the time my server arrived, the kitchen was closed. I had to walk to Tim Hortons in the severe cold as it was the only other place open. I don't know if the food is any good, as I will never return.

Beer and service was great. Waitress was lovely and gave us a discount because of the hard slab of meat called a steak that I was served even tho I asked for medium rare. Was super disappointed after all the hype our tour guide gave. To kitchen staff: You should operate a leather tannery from your kitchen and have Steak Frites as your number one recommended leather. The Steak wasn’t just well done at this point, it was congratualtions.

Great craft beer selection, although we did have a more limited selection as our 5-day trip went on. Looks like they’re a popular watering hole! Servers and bartenders were very friendly and super fast. Preferred the atmosphere here compared to the Miner’s Daughter next door. Will make this a regular spot when I come back to Whitehorse!

The first time I came the service was terrible and the waitress didn't manage to follow the simplest of instructions, but the food it's self was good enough to give it another try. Today the service was great and the food was amazing. They have a good beer selection, but more than 2/3 of the selection is out of stock, so they lose a star because of that. It's the best place I've been in Whitehorse, just really wish they offered a better selection of local beers.

Food was excellent. Four of us had dinner here two different nights and we were all very happy with our food. I recommend the wild salmon tacos, wild smoked salmon pizza, and the local house salad (one of the best salads I have ever had!). My friends really enjoyed the devils on horseback and said the burgers were good as well. Beer selection is ok, but nothing amazing. If you go later it's more bar scene than restaurant, so if you have young children along I would recommend going earlier or go somewhere else.

Theres more seating than most places around town, and the plexiglass they've put up between tables actually helps make it quieter, and is a big improvement. Now you can have a conversation without yelling, which is nice. Also, great food and a good beer list.

Nice place to visit, staff was good never got to try the food but I hear it is good also. It was disappointing that they didnt have any of the local breweries beers on tap, like they use to. Also, strange that they would get a brewery in BC to their signature beer also.

Ordered NY Striploin Steak rare. Steak was medium to medium well. Did not taste like steak was seasoned in any way and it was rubbery. Waitress did not remember I had ordered soda water and refreshed it with coke. Friends I was with seemed to enjoy their food.

My favourite Friday-night spot in Whitehorse. Beer is great, food is awesome and potions are generous. I have the bison burger every time. You can't go wrong. The only thing I would like to see are bigger booths that can accommodate more people. For a crew of six, the seating is very crammed.

Busy Monday night but sat very quickly by a friendly hostess. Half price pizza Monday, worth it! Potato pizza and dirty northerner were both bomb. We are passing thru and interested in a t shirt and our server Logan was so accommodating! We are both service industry and I can honestly say he went above and beyond. If we lived here it would be our spot for sure!

The drinks, service and atmosphere were good, given that COVID has dampened everything! They made a custom Shirley Temple for our daughter who hates soda. Dinner a little light - definitely more drinks than food place. Great selections of local spirits and interesting cocktails. Excellent craft brews and wine selections, too.

Was able to slip in just before the kitchen closed (10pm). Ordered the calamari and the spicy chorizo pizza. The calamari was really good, not like the usual stuff you get at most restaurants. The pizza was so good. Their pizza is a Neapolitan style crust and flame roasted in an authentic pizza oven. I would highly recommend coming here for dinner especially for the pizza.

We had such an awesome time. Fantastic food, delicious cocktails and down to earth and lovely staff. It is so nice to get out of the London/UK bustle and stretch your legs at a very cozy and inviting pub/restaurant. My favourite cocktail was the Buffalo Sour and when I told the waitress, the barman wrote down the recipe for me. I replicated it tonight and it's very nice, but not quite the same as the atmosphere is missing. It can't be properly described with words, but Yukon has my heart and I would go back anytime I can.

The Dirty is an okay spot for drinks, with a few key shortcomings. On the plus side, it's about the coolest place in town, so it's where all the hip kids go, and the decor is good without either dumpy or in-your-face avantgarde. The food is consistently pretty good, too. Downsides: a) noise levels are way too high. When it's busy, you need to cup your hands around your immediate neighbour's ear to be heard b) seating sucks -- stools are uncomfortable and booths are weirdly too low for the tables c) their beer flights are inexplicably dealer's choice. I'm a craft beer nerd, and I really don't need some random bartender deciding for me which beers I want to try.
