Great little neighbourhood pub with a friendly atmosphere. Daily specials and happy hour until 6 PM. There is a patio as well and kids are welcome until 10 PM. Typical pub food. I like the calamari and the flatbread is great also.

Popular with the new local residents in the area, food is inconsistent but the service staff are always very helpful. Some good promotions including the "Free Jug with Golf Score Card" make it at least a place to stop for a quick one.

We just moved nearby and this bar was recommended to us. I liked it. The food was pretty decent. Quality servers. No attitude or anything to really complain about. If you are interested take a look at the daily specials section of their menu. $4 burger Wednesdays is an amazing deal! Must purchase a drink and must eat in. They will do take out but only for regular priced items.

Was not impressed. Beer selection is little to none. The food menu looked good, ordered the surf and turf. Steak was mostly fat and gristle plus shrimp was super salty. Mashed potatoes were good thank goodness. Only saving grace was our waiter. Although she was new and made some mistakes her attitude and the way she handled everything was top notch.

Hit and miss service with expensive entrees. The room is nice with lots of TVs but lack of attention to major sporting events. Watch the game somewhere else.

I come in regularly same as my family. By rmy friend and I came in a few days ago walked in as normal went to our table. And wait for a sever. For over 15 min no one came up to us. The severs saw us come I saw us sit down and did see us. We went to the driby bar and grill around the corner. That was a better experience. Also. I find everytime I order fries there just a bunch of soggy fries. I don't know if this is under a new management but waiting for that long not okay.

The service vs. the number of patrons negatively impacted our experience as customers. If we had ordered a much larger meal, rather than breakfast and drinks we would have been served in less than the one hour plus we waited. Meanwhile several others that came after us, sat beside us and ordered a larger meal were served within 15 to 20 minutes. Very disappointed to say the least.

We went here for a fundraiser. Don’t let the place scare you it’s actually nice. There are a lot of regulars there and they and the staff are great. We were on a fixed menu but the food was nice. They host a lot of fundraisers and they did a good job when we were there.

We went to watch the band Crossroads play and they were outstanding! Service we had was great...the killer was the meal. Got there at 645pm put the dinner order in at 730pm. 2 people at the table get their meal brought out after 830 pm and that's when we're told the 2 specials that were ordered ran and to put another order in and they would rush it...got it at 910pm. Got an apology and no offer to do anything with the bill. Second time meal not making it out with the table. Very frustrated and disappointed. Looking forward to a night of great music and ended up leaving early. Take your chances folks..

Been coming here for Sunday brunch for some time. Menu is pretty good. But the service is absolutely horrible. Dirty dishes left on tables for long durations, long after patrons have left. Sat here for 13 minutes before we were noticed by the "right" server, to wipe the table from previous guests and get a cup of coffee on the way. Meanwhile the other 2 servers on shift noticed and completely ignored us. Obviously the management doesn't value team work, or cleanliness here. Sadly, looks like we need to find a new favorite place for brunch.

Lovely place for meeting, eating and drinking. Parking is very easy and space’s enough. Only thing to concern is; this place is so close to US border that traffic is sometimes very crazy but the trick is to use Nexus or commercial lane for fast access.

Service was good among Covid-19. Friendly and courteous. Patio is good. Food, steak sandwich was subpar. This was the first time going out and this is a strong reminder why we saved so much money eating at home. The lime margarita was artificial and American standard in terms of amount of sugar. Overall was a clean place and great if you just want beer.

The fish and chips I had was quite well prepared. I wish they would serve condiments without using single use plastic mini cups however. Perhaps a small square of waxed paper would suffice. Still, a nice pub and a decent value. Edit: Plastic condiment cups are gone! Replaced with stainess steel reusable ones! Wonderful!

Used to come to this bar on a regular basis because it's close to home and had great service but oh boy did it go downhill fast. Went for breakfast waited over 30 minutes for food in a nearly empty place. Service was bad, food was decent but never going back. Should have listened to the ex employee standing outside complaining about not getting paid.

When we got there they were playing CafeTrivia with the whole bar. Was fun. Unfortunately my team came in last. Lol. The service was great. Waitress was super nice and helpful. The atmosphere is cool and where we sat was comfortable. The dessert was super delish. A pan cooked chocolate chip cookie with a scoop of ice cream. The cookie came to the table hot and gooie on the inside, crispy on the outside. It's the only dessert on the menu. Now i know why. It's the mike drop of desserts. Hahahahahahaha

Great Atmosphere we had A celebration of life Ride with 30 Harley riders!!! Steve and Dave Drove out there 2 days prior to see if they were capable of handly a big group also let the Manger now we wanted to eat brunch,Just in case they needed to up the staff. We call this place, the Bennett by the Border. They are open and have a great outdoor patio. The food is good and my review from 2 years ago said the steak sandwich was excellent. We had steak twice lately and the steak is still great. Good job. Also thanks for developing a better system to keep a table available for a reservation and I'm glad I waited to write this review because our 1st recent reservation was a bit of a train wreck, as you well know.

The Bennett Craft & Kitchen has a terrific patio and good food. Their garlic parmesan fries are to die for, and I love the fried calamari with jalapeños and banana peppers. Their veggie burger is great, and I hear good things about the bison burger. I've been in at least a dozen times and have always enjoyed great service.

Stopped in for a round after golf with the girls, had some of the best service I’ve had at a restaurant in a long time. I’ve been managing chain restaurants for years and never write reviews since I know how it is but this was exceptional and deserves recognition. The two ladies that took care of us were warm, welcoming and treated us like friends (we were there on Wednesday the 15th around 8:30 PM). Great job ladies! Not to mention the food was fantastic (beef dip is one of the best I’ve had in ages). I know how hard it’s been since the pandemic started to keep staff , especially the good ones. Thank you! We’ll definitely be back

This place is a bloody joke!!! Sat down at a table and no server would come over. They would walk by and look but no service. This place was recommended to us on the golf course at peace portal. Sat for 20 mins nobody came to take our order. Will not be back!!!!

I had booked a reservation for 12 people in November, for a celebration in the middle of December. Out of nowhere nearly 2 weeks after making the reservation I received a voice mail telling me they were ‘bumping’ my reservation, but to feel free to rebook it on a different date. We had guests coming from out of town so we couldn’t rebook on a different date, and being December we couldn’t find another venue on such short notice. The Bennett was offhandedly apologetic and really acted like he couldn’t have cared less, not even offering any sort of compensation for destroying all of our set plans on such short notice. I was disgusted with his lack of consideration, especially as it is our neighbourhood pub and go there very regularly. Customer service was despicable over our ‘bumped’ reservation and we will never ever step into, nor support this pub in any way, ever again.

It's a pub next to the border on the Canadian side. Lots of room. Great for large groups to just drop in. There were 20 of us and we were easily accommodated. Wednesday is $4 burger night for you carnivores.

Perfect low key pub. Lots of selections for a draft beer. Very good kitchen. Had the chicken strips and another time the salmon burger. I enjoyed the place.

We came here and were served by Jacquie, and we had the best experience! The food was great, and the service was even better. Jacquie was so friendly and welcoming, she went above and beyond to ensure our visit was amazing. She even packed me a to go water. The Bennett is so lucky to have her as an employee.

Nice looking place.. everything else is not good. Terrible service, took server over ten minutes to even talk to us. Got our drink order wrong twice. Just really slow in general. Ordered the chicken club, it was super skimpy and weak. Skinny piece of dry chicken, iceberg lettuce, a slice of tomato, on skinny white wonder bread. For 18 bucks they don't even put cheese on it. Super weak. Only redeeming quality was the side salad, which was delicious. House dressing was awesome. Everything else was bad. Doubt I'll be back.
