Went bowling here as my 3 year old son wanted to go on his birthday. Pretty straight forward on what kind of place this is. They have 5 pin and 10 pin bowling ????. Drinks are available. Don't know how the food was but I'd imagine it'd be well bowling food lol.

We took a group of toddlers bowling here. The balls kept getting stuck and the kids didn't have the patience to wait while they fished the balls out. It happened at least 4 times, so that was frustrating. The kids liked the lasers though and the staff were helpful.

Went here with the whole family for my Birthday on the 16th. While busy due to Fathers day we were very happy with our 2 lanes and the attentive staff. One of the little ones in our party managed to get a ball stuck in the gutter and the staff quickly noticed and helped while making a joke out of it instead of making her feel bad.

The bowling prices are by the hour and are quite reasonable. The staff members are friendly and helpful. One of them was kind enough to add 10 minutes to our bowling time when we were experiencing trouble with the balls returning to our lane. You can also order food and drinks to consume while bowling.

Obviously inebriated customers regulary driving their cars out of the pub parking lot for many years now is bad enough - but amongst a great number of families with young children leaving the bowling alley, is testament to the conivence of the RCMP and influencial business interests. Mediocre pub, mediocre food. Beleaguered and/or indifferent staff. Bands -for the most part- are earnest but rarely exeed a 'C' rating.

The service was terrible. Girl behind counter totally disrespected me when I asked for a different pair of shoes because the ones she gave me had some weird ketchup type sauce in them. Told me if I couldn't eat my food properly they cant just switch my shoes and maybe I should stick to McDonalds play place. I didn't even eat anything yet and that was exactly how I got the shoes. Maybe she was having a bad day which is understandable but dont take it out on me.

Horrible experience.The manager, Jordan with long hair was so rude to us.I went out bowling with my 2 friends.We were simply taking pictures as we were waiting for our turn to come over .We removed our masks just to take a picture.He ordered us to leave the place because of that.We said sorry to him for that but it meant nothing to him.We came out from there without bowling.He don't know how to behave with customers....

Typical bowling with the ability to play 5 or 10 pin except you now can't make same day reso's. A pitcher of house beer cost 22.50 which is a bit excessive since it's connected to baselines and you can't bring the beer with you while you bowl. Cost me $75.00 for 4 people at 5 pin for an hour and a half which is also pretty pricy.

We hosted a birthday party here for my daughter, and it was a great experience for everyone involved. From the initial planning to the day of the party, the staff was very approachable, friendly, knowledgeable and flexible. There were plenty of shoes for the children and their parents to allow everyone to participate and the establishment was flexible enough to add lanes if required. The delicious food was made fresh, and there was enough options on the menu to meet most dietary needs. What makes this place a standout was that you never felt like you were rushed to complete all your activities from bowling to eating in their spacious party room downstairs. And the staff has your back if you forget things like a knife to cut the cake or lighters for birthday cake candles. Their parking lot in the back is quite sizeable as well. A great time to be had for all at the Sandcastle Bowl!

All the lanes were booked for a tournament until the late evening so we went upstairs to the pub to play pool. There was a pool tournament starting at noon. So we played a few quick games and had some beers. The staff were apologetic about not being able to play, and they were very friendly.

Fantastic little bowling alley in South Surrey with the perfect amenities for kids and adults alike. Lanes are well kept, with solid balls in each of the lanes, varying in size, weight and type for anyone and everyone, and it even has guards and a guide for younger/inexperienced bowlers as well. Meanwhile, the bar upstairs has karaoke, darts, pool, and everything else you'd expect from a bar. They even have non-alcoholic beverages on the house for DD's to ensure the party makes it home safe! In conclusion, this is a great option for any and all events in South Surrey (and beyond) and one I recommended highly and will certainly be revisiting in the future! Thank you!

Great place to go bowling on birthdays or just for fun. This place also has great food. The prices are low, but the food is a bit over priced. This place usually has enough lanes for everyone, and has a good scoring system. This is one of the better bowling places I've seen, and well sanitized too, but the place isn't too well renovated and the bowling prices are high (unless you buy multiple rounds), which is why I've given it four stars. I would definitely recommend coming here if you're looking for a multiple games of bowling, or a birthday with friends and family.

Great time and only changes are, prepay, press the button if you want to order food while bowling or bring you a lighter ball, and leave your shoes in the box when you leave. It really was a comfortable time and we got a strike.

It was fantastic! A "mom and pop" style shop. I was drawn by the singing. I ended up a bowler. The entire staff was approachable, informed and eager to welcome you into the "one of us" circle. I recommend Saturday nights. P.s. if you are lucky, you can hear me belt out a song.

This review is for the bar/restaurant, not the bowling alley or fitness studio which is adjoining. This is a two level rather large bar, which has the usual array of televisions throughout. Upstairs there is a pool table area with two tables and a couple of dart boards. The bonus here is that the pool is free! You only have to drop a 20$ deposit for your cue which is returned after. The food that I have tried here has alwaysl been great, and I've been here frequently over the years, and the service is fast and friendly. Definitely recommend this place!

The Honest Truth: -Bathrooms are clean and tidy; -Staff are friendly and approachable; -Food was freshly made and catered to needs to individual's (attended a birthday party) -Large venue for large gatherings My Opinion: We recently attended a birthday party where several Lanes where used and a lot of children shoes were used as well. I found that they had plenty of shoes to supply a large Gathering of children. The food was presented in the lower level and all the food was fresh. I would definitely think about using this place for a birthday party for children and planning ahead of time is a good thing.

This is the worst place to go bowling in the lower mainland. When you walk in and ask how much it costs to bowl they tell you it depends on the length of time you bowl for and you pay after. We played 4 games and when we went to pay they told us each game was charged per person and our bill was over $180. Yes, you read that correctly, $180 for an hour and a half off bowling for 4 people. I feel they did that on purpose and intentionaly get you to pay after so you rack up a bill that is much more then you intend. Will NEVER return to this horrible place and do not recomend anybody else to get your wallet gauged at this scam.

I hate to give this place a one star because the staff here provides exceptional service from previous visits. However, my recent visit the lady at the front desk taking payments was very rude, we talked to another party that was there and they said they had a similar experience with her. A lot of recent one star reviews complain about this girl as well. Sadly will not be returning or recommending this place as it nearly spoiled our night.

Wow! What awesome precautions they are taking here with COVID!! Really felt safe here and it was sooo nice to be able to take the kids somewhere for the first time in months. The balls are all sanitized as well as the shoes and all surfaces. Really well run and super comfortable! Thank you for giving us a great and safe day together :)

A big group of us were there last night (not our first time!) We had made reservations earlier in the week for two lanes. Unfortunately, soon after the games got started, the pins started getting stuck. The staff was very quick to try to solve the issue. After about 10 minutes, they informed us that it wasn’t possible to get the lanes going again tonight. So, they would move us to different lanes. All the lanes were being used, however, and we’d have to wait 15 minutes until they freed up. While we were waiting, they brought us a free pitcher of beer, some free food and we’re very apologetic about the whole situation. The service is AMAZING, the vibe is very laid-back, the beer is great and the food is delicious. We always have a great time when we’re there!

Abysmal customer service. We reserved in advance for 1 hour, upon arrival the attendant treated us poorly. Then he wanted to overcharge us for 1.5 hours when we only made a reservation for an hour. Extremely disappointed as this was my first experience at this location. The front desk attendant needs training in customer service.

What an incredible experience we had at Sandcastle Bowling today! The staff are always friendly and wonderful, but today one staff member in particular went out of his way! I came in to bowl with my daughter and her friend. Both girls were staring longingly at the stuffed animals in the Claw Machine, asking if we could play so I could win them one. I explained that it was a difficult game, and that if I played, I may not be able to win them anything. The wonderful staff member that was serving us must've heard us, as he then proceeds to the Claw Machine and starts to play. The girls stare in amazement as the young man proceeds to win a teddy bear and a unicorn. But then, to our total surprise, the young man hands the stuffed animals to the girls as a gift! The girls were over joyed! We thought he was playing for himself, as he told us afterwards he's quite good at the game, as he plays it often. I would like to add that to play, he used his own money. We never asked him to play, he just did it out of the goodness of his heart. What a wonderful facility, and wonderful staff. We will absolutely be back and will recommend to all our friends. As a side note, the food was fantastic, and the place was spotlessly clean.

Recently came here since my normal bowling place was closed. From the beginning I appreciate the large parking lot and the easily accessible and visible location. However I personally think that the prices for each game are kind of expensive, the prices are only worth it of you think ahead and pay for multiple games or an unlimited session. But I like how they offer both 5 and 10 pin bowling with the small and big balls. Once again the prices of the food can also be expensive. Overall I enjoyed my experience and had fun. I would recommend this place to people who are looking to play multiple games and I can't wait to come here again.

Negative experience. Had a miss communication with the worker. No point getting into who was right. I have no issue with their covid regulations. Perhaps your employees should not say "I will pretend I did not hear that regarding covid" wink wink when booking and there would not be any miscommunication. If you take a look at the 1 star reviews over the past year, they are primarily from people of colour. Perhaps ownership may want to take a look at that

The WORST experience ever... will never visit this place again. So we went to this place today. My friend showed his vaccination proof, student ID(with his picture on it), his credit cards but was denied entry. He lost his BCID so he couldn't show that. We understand their protocols but the staff could be more polite and could attend us nicely, the guy attending us was very rude.

It’s a good place for bowling. But celebrating your kids B day or any other occasion wouldn’t be a great idea. We booked the place for 2 hrs for my sons 7th B day and girls left the cake on the side counter no B day song was sung for the the lil one and Didn’t even bothered asking who’s B day it was and never once came for a second round to ask how the food is or if we need anything else. I would strongly recommend to look for other places with good and friendly service unless you’re ok for the sake of bowling

We liked the interactive games within bowling that are available! Fun, light vibe. A bar is also attached. More expensive than we were anticipating, even with the shoe rentals for 5 pin. There was 5 and 10 pin bowling available, and there was immediate availability when we arrived without a reservation. We definitely enjoyed our hour, but it wasn't necessarily a cheaper date night idea.

I had gone to this place with my family , and as i was reading along few of the reviews yes i had mixed experience . One of the front desk staff was very rude , we felt she just did not want any one there or did not want to work there . We took time time to get the vaccination code out and she just left the desk leaving us guessing what we should be doing for 10 min . Our kid had dropped a ball wrong and she came firing at us . Even for the time we thanked her for her service she just moved off .However o2 ladies at the desk where very friendly and the place was awesome . We did taste few of their food and it was good and upto the name .

Considering the fact that they had no customer, we went as a group of four asking for 2 lanes and got rejected. Politely asked 4 times and the returned answer was still a “ no you guys have asked like 10 times.” A worker named Mike, told us that they usually do not give out 2 lanes to a group of 4 which makes sense if the lanes are fully in use, but in this case literally 2 group including us. So does that mean we should come as a group of 2s to get 2 lane? That makes no sense at all, only looks like you guys are too lazy to do your duties. Usually went once a week regularly to play but it looks like we won’t be going back. One of the worst customer service I have ever experienced.

Had a great time bowling. The BC Burger was very good. The music was fun. Used a Mobile Bandit coupon ($50 included 2hr lane rental, shoes for 4, large pizza and a pitcher of beer). Totaly recommend it for a fun casual night out with friends, or on a date. Service was prompt and friendly.
