You will see all the feddbacks of people like you who have information of the products of Ocean Promenade Hotel (Night Club) around White Rock area (Canada).
To this day this business receives a rating of 4.1 stars out of 5 and that rating has been based on 127 reviews.
You must have seen that its rating is very high, and it's founded on a very large number of opinions, so we may say that the score is quite credible. If there are many people who bothered to evaluate when they are happy with the business, it works.
You know that we do not usually bother to set reviews when they are positive and we usually do it only if we have had a problem or issue...
Absolutely beautiful hotel with incredibly professional and friendly staff. We got the Jacuzzi room, which we have been told is the best room in the hotel and it really was as fantastic as they say. Beautiful view, lots of space, …
Clean up to date rooms, great service
Liked the hotel nice view great room not happy about train going through all hours of night prob would not go back .
View and rooms are great, clean and well maintained. Staff for the most part were great except for William. I was laying on the couch at 10pm in the lobby speaking to someone on the phone when William pointedly says across the counter "Do you want a pillow and a blanket? This isn't a lounge area, sit up". I tried to ask William why he didn't tactfully ask me sit up, as I would have been happy to, and he had no response for it. Not the way I would expect an employee to speak to a customer, nevertheless one human to speak to another. We bring 40+ people to this hotel each year and this is NOT the service we've come to expect. Bad taste William.
Clean and comfortable room. NOISE ALERT - loved the ocean view, but the train passed-by at least 3 times in the night *ding ding ding ding ding* Price was fair, location can't be beat. Was staying there during the "pandemic" so not usual circumstances, but didn't feel like there was much value-added service (extra care/attention).
Loved it! Great views
My husband and I made this hotel our Wedding night hotel as it had such special meaning to us. We booked a king size, Jacuzzi - Full Suite with an ocean view for April 20th. The front staff is ALWAYS pleasant as she was this time but we were disgusted by the cleanliness of the room....the fitted bed sheet had not been changed from last guest, with mascara and hair in the bed, the towels on the rack in the bathroom had short, bristles inter-twined in the fabric (like a man's facial hair), the kitchen table was filthy and not washed at all. I sent an email to the manager, and as repeat customers expected a response, and NOT ONE EMAIL in return. Sharna and Gordy, sadly we will not be attending your hotel again. Below is the mascara on the crinkled unclean fitted sheet.
This is a great hotel and you cant go wrong. Very friendly staff , great location and one of the cleanest rooms we've ever had. Very reasonable price considering the great location and they offer BCAA discounted rate. Thank you to all the staff!
Friends had a really horrible stay here. We were thinking about booking the hotel yet found out they really don't care about there customers needs nor there disabilities. No thanks!
Was a great littlest didn't stay long but was enjoyable
Fantastic location for a big group! Treated like Family! We had not been back to the Ocean Promenade for 9 years and were absolutely pleased to see that the facility has been kept up to the excellent standard we remembered. Circumstances that arose late in the spring seemed to mandate getting the family together for a celebration this very summer. After unsuccessfully searching throughout Alberta and BC (including the Okanagan) for a suitable, affordable, and available venue that would accommodate the growing number of people who were committed to come, we remembered our two previous wonderful summers spent at White Rock at the Ocean Promenade. Believe it or not! the Ocean Promenade, with various permutations and combinations of their very flexible room configurations were able to effectively accommodate 33 people (25 adults 8 children) at an incredibley reasonable cost. We were able to utilize at least a few different kitchens so that various groups could feed themselves and others throughout the 8 days we were there. As people came and left, bedrooms were added or dropped as required to meet our needs. Management and staff greeted us and treated us like family and worked hard the entire time we were there to make our stay more comfortable and "homey" than we could have expected at any other venue. They arranged two catered dinners for the entire group in their comfortable meeting room (we even used the AV equipment to entertain the kids). The meal options were ultimately appropriate and the quality was excellent. It didn't feel like a usual hotel catered event but was seemed like a joint "family affair". Everyone who came fell in love with the Ocean Promenade (and White Rock!) and this very special event was more successful than my wife and I could ever have imagined or hoped for. Thank-you Sharan and Russell (and all the cleaning and catering staff) for all you did!
If I had an opportunity to fly to van to talk to this manager that has no consideration what so ever to the basic decency of respect in the hotel environment, I would. My daughter and her bf booked his hotel for there anniversary. They had to leave after 4 hours of booking in. They won't give them a refund. Manager hangs up on them, won't talk to the booking company. Top it all off, she lives off disability. That was a forth of her money to live on for the month. Just unreal. And it was because train horns honk all night long and wake u up every 25 mins so they had to leave to get a decent sleep. $280. Unreal.
Truely disappointed, paid a ridiculous price off season for an Ocean view room , couldn't see the ocean due to our dirty windows.I asked to have the balcony windows done , ended up doing them myself!!! So we checked out the following day, rather then staying our two days .
Booked for my mom who didn’t end up staying at the hotel, but the staff were open and receptive when helping me book (and later cancel) the reservation. I can’t speak to the amenities or the hotel itself, but the staff at the Ocean Promenade Hotel deserve 5 stars!
I gave 2 stars for potential. The room I booked was last minute, so I cannot complain about the size (which was small but acceptable for one night). When I arrived the first thing I noticed was lots of food in the fridge from the previous guests. The shampoo bottle was half empty and there was sand in our bed. My girlfriend woke up with a beetle of some kind on her pillow. I mentioned this to the receptionist and received $20 credit. Sorry but that was not enough for me to be satisfied with my stay. The way the room was left leads me to believe it was not cleaned, or at least not properly. The room wasn't expensive and if it was clean I would have been very happy. Unfortunately, I was very skeived out. Will be happy to remove this review if the charge for that room is removed.
VERY disappointing. We booked because the photos - and the cost - led us to believe that we had a private balcony overlooking the ocean. In reality we had a room overlooking a side alley, overlooked by a block of apartments, and with sea views only if standing and peering down the gap. The balcony is also completely in the shade. On top of which there is an adjoining room, and the other half was occupied- meaning someone else had their window directly overlooking our balcony!!! So no privacy whatsoever. A nice enough room, very clean, but extortionate for the reality of the views. We just stayed in Lonsdale Quay for half the cost, with a room directly overlooking the water, and wish we had stayed there. I did speak to the receptionist but she refused to move us. Parking is an additional $17.50 per night. I most certainly do not recommend to anyone hoping for somewhere to sit out and enjoy the sea sea view. A very, very disappointing end to our trip.
We always book very early, book with the front desk, pay extra to ensure a view room and have never been disappointed. It is a bargain for a beach view room. This is not a chain hotel. The only reason I don't give it five stars relates to, of all things, the location. The touristy part of town is almost a mile north and parking there is limited. This is a place where Canadians go for a good time. We love it and the hotel is a good part of the reason. Of course it's not a Hilton resort! And I love it for that.
This is a wonderful hotel right on the beach. The staff are exceptional! This is the second year that we have held our event here and we will be back again next year.
With a huge well-appointed room and a spacious deck, we wished we had booked a longer stay in a season with better weather (rain was pouring). We booked to be reasonably close to the ferry terminal for a morning crossing to the Gulf Islands. Even in poor weather, we enjoyed the view on our single night there. Staff was pleasant, and indoor parking was a plus in bad weather.
Beautiful spacious rooms. Also very quiet. Perfect location for a morning walk along the ocean ! Our room had a full kit hen that was very modern and a huge bathroom with two shower options. Loved our stay
Great hotel to stay at! Rooms are cleaned to a high standard, any requests that I had were accompanied, Watts restaurant downstairs is excellent and nicely decorated with killer omelettes and great coffee! Sally at the front desk is the best! She’s totally professional and always completely accommodating to look after her guests! I would place her at the top of any front desk person that I have met anywhere that I have traveled in my 28 countries visited worldwide. Overall great place to stay at with a view that is second to none.
Lovely access to the ocean, comfortable room with soft beds, nice and quiet.????
staff was friendly and the room was clean & big. however the lights flicker a lot every time you turn them on, at least in room 204, which could be an issue if you have a photosensitivity problem like epilepsy. we also noticed the bathrooms vent cover wasnt properly attached to the ceiling but that didnt effect the quality of our stay. we were given lots of towels & soaps as well as a coffee maker, tea, and a minifridge. I wish our room had overhead lighting instead of lamps, but other than that it was a very nice stay.
