I decided to visit browns as a late night palate cleanser. I ordered the calamari and was it was delightful. I ordered off the tap and for a more expensive restaurant it was a reasonable price. I left with still some change in my pocket. Would definitely go again. The only complaint I had was that there was dust clinging to the seats and the table. Otherwise, I had a wonderful experience.

I ordered dinner through Skip the Dishes. I ordered a beverage with the meal and they forgot the beverage. I had hoped they would come back with it, but they wanted me to re-order from Skip and pay the additional costs. They did however say they would reverse the charge. Not the outcome I had hoped for.

Okay, where do i start. I understand its fathers day and your busy but hey, then staff to right level. 15 minutes for drinks and water, fine, but then we waited 45 minutes for our food and they forgot one order. The last person waited 15 min after everyone else got their meal. Had to ask 3 times for it, just a simple burger. You know, i would have expected the manager to come over and apologize. We asked for her 3 times, she was a no show. I appreciate comping my burger but do you really think that 20.00 is going to make up for the truly horrible dinning experience we had. An apology goes a long way.

If you have a shellfish allergy no fries or nachos for you.. This used to be our go to for Happy Hour but no longer. They have the best nachos but because they deep fry everything in the same oil, my wife is very limited to their menu items. Some restaurants have 2 deep friers because of this but not Brown's. Other than that highly recommended as they are always very helpful.

My second time to this location and the service could use some work. First time I was here I had to order a water three different times and still never received it (not a huge deal but when you’re drinking on a hot day on the patio it’d be nice). The waitress never came by to check on our food until we were done and when we asked for the bill it took over 15 minutes to get then another 10 minutes to get the machine. The second time I went I ordered my food and then my waitress went on break (I worked in restaurants so I understand she needs to eat but usually they’ll give you the heads up in case you need someone) when she got back I still hadn’t received my food. I asked how much longer it’d be and was told there was a mix up and they were remaking it now (45 mins later) I got my food and was offered desert to rectify the situation. Upon asking for the bill the manager said he’d be right over and bring the machine. I see him walk to the pass and start talking to other waitresses and completely forget about us so we have to ask again. The staff is pleasant and the food is good. They just need work.

Ordered here maybe half a dozen times. Each experience is a little worse than before. The portion just kept dwelling - ordered full Chicken Fettuccini Alfredo, came with 4 tiny pieces of chicken, and the calamari has 1/3 of box filled with jalapeno. Most likely won't order again.

After visiting the restaurant next door 1st and told there would be a wait for the next table we said "No thanks" we walked across to the Browns Social House and was greeted and had a table available immediately inspite it being 8:30 on a Friday evening. Sat down, had our meals ordered and drinks infront of us within 10 mins ! The multiple screens showing the hockey play offs was a surprise. I ordered a basic burger and fries, (I never order fancy in new restaurants), my wife ordered the Dragon Bowl. Meals were infront of us in about 12 mins ! The burger was hand made in the restaurant daily with shaved lettuce, absolutely delicious ! Fries were well, ok. I'd give them a "pass". My wife's Dragon Bowl was an absolute 5 star taste explosion ! It was a huge bowl that she couldn't stop eating ! Thought for sure she would want to take some home, but no ! We didn't have any dessert only cause we were in a hurry and were dinner stuffed. But know this, the staff was quick and we will definitely be back. Great job guys !

First time at Browns and had a good time! Went around 3pm in the afternoon and it was their happy hour. Ordered this drink (can’t remember what it was called) based on waitress recommendation and it was amazing. Ordered the burger; the fries side was great. Good atmosphere. They have good COVID19 measures in place to ensure customer safety.

(Sometimes) great food, slow, but friendly staff and good location. This place's food is not usually good, but when it is good, it is great. This place has somewhat slow working staff, and took a while just to get drinks out. Some food was mediocre and some were horrible, with the sauces they were providing. I didn't finish half of my food, and didn't ask to pack it up (even though I hate wasting food.) I gave this place three stars because although most of my experience was bad, this definitely has a good location and great view.

Headed over to Browns for dinner on a recent Friday evening- took a chance as we knew it could be busy. Pleasantly surprised that we were seated quickly after arriving. Nachos to start, burgers all around, and a delicious brownie for dessert. Service was fast and friendly. Food was great! We will return, unless of course we can’t find it, or we forget.

People knock this place. I dont know why, you know what you're going to get. Friendly service. There was an issue with my beer flavour (I'm a nerd that way), and the manager promptly came over to go through it with me. We found the problem in a fun and hilarious way. Good Food. Yeah it's not a downtown steak house, but for what it is, I prefer it over the competition across the street. Cool vibe. The energy is great and you feel at ease. They even kept the seemingly unimportant pieces of paper that my wife had mistaken left behind. They were actually important, and they kept them just in case.

Dropped in for a couple of pints with an old colleague mid afternoon. Service was fast and friendly. Will be back. As a follow-up to the above review this has been a frequent venue for meeting up with family and friends. The service, food and ambience continue to be a draw. If you are in the neighborhood give this location or it's sister restaurant Liberty Kitchen a try - you won't be disappointed.

Great patio, large with good seating options. Food is decent at best. Not on par with the other locations. The rice on the dynamite roll was gummy, the pad thai noodles were under cooked and the sauce was watery. Hopefully with more time open they will be able to improve.

Visited during lunch, their crispy chicken ramen was surprisingly good. Dude not expect it in a non ramen restaurant. The broth and noodles was interesting but still had the essence of a good ramen. The texture of the egg was pretty perfect but flavor was a bit of. Also, should have given a whole egg instead for the price!!! Chicken was extremely crispy and flavored but the chicken itself could get some flavor instead of only in the breading. $18.5 for a ramen is definitely more than normal but convenient for me in South Surrey so I would have this again if I don't find a better ramen place around!!! Browns service is good as usual and environment was covid friendly.

My wife and I were one of your first customers this beautiful, sunny Saturday morning and ordered your corn beef hash, yam fries , orange juice and a Stella Artois sleeve - Check: #105734 Date: 09/28/19 @ 12:05PM. As we enjoyed the meal and the music, we noticed the yam fries were way to salty. I mentioned it politely to the waitress (forgot your name, sorry!) and she came back to let us know that the beer was on the house and apologized on behalf of the manager and kitchen staff. Thank you! We were about to finish paying when we were acknowledged by the manager who also apologized for the salty fries and thanked us for choosing them today for brunch. Thank you, Browns for the great customer service today and we will be back for the corned beef hash one of these days :) - Emanuel

Went on a Friday night and many of their advertised beers on tap were out... Furthermore their Caeser isint even a real Caeser it has no tobasco or Worcester sauce just clamato and vodka... Definitely not a place to go for a Friday night drink.

This is one of our go to place to celebrate something! Tonight we went to celebrate our sons’ birthday and end of school year. The foods were good but prices seemed little up which I guess to cover up the loss we all face due to COVID-19. Sad!! Lauren 10 was our server for the night. She was super nice. I gave four stars because little things here and there we had to ask for! Hope they will improve soon. Cheers!

Disappointed.........I was looking forward to Browns coming to my area, but so far it has been disappointing. I've been there several times, hoping it would improve with time, but still waiting! The service is slow, from beginning to end. The food could use some improving, from the appetizers to the entrees. My daughter and I ordered the liberty pizzas, supposedly with "hand torn basil". It looked like there were one or two bits of "hand torn basil" on the whole pizzas! We waited for our food while watching several people who arrived after us receiving their food. Finally our server apologized, saying that there was only one oven for the pizzas!!! Another time, a friend ordered the smashed avocado toast.......it was one very small piece of toast......plain.....not even a piece of lemon or tomato or something to make it even look appetizing!! There it was, smack in the middle of a large plate! Even the fries have not been good......either burnt bits or soggy! Not at all up to par with other Browns locations. I guess I'll be driving to the location at Semiahmoo Centre rather than walking to Grandview Corners!! Boo!

Came here with my sister for lunch, atmosphere was great. I usually dislike social houses because the music is way too loud, making it impossible to have a relaxed time but it seems the team at this location figured out that diners actually want to be able to talk with each other, nit to scream at each other. Service was quick and wonderful, although prices are a bit much for the drinks and basic tofu bowl, however overall we had a good time here.

This location is subpar. Went on a Tuesday night for dinner and had to wait 10 min even there were tables empty but not cleaned. Ordered water and hubs ordered a soda and the soda came before the water, water coming 5 min after. When the waters came, both glasses had lipstick around the edges of the glasses. Ordered the fish tacos and both tacos were more batter than fish. In fact one piece was batter covering a penny size piece of fish. Ordered a Caesar salad as my side and the dressing was just blobbed on the top

Not what I thought. The place itself is nice. Staff is friendly but the menu is the same as many other places. Wraps,pasta dishes, burgers and steak etc. The only thing that stood out was the toasted avocado with chille and lime. It was ok but not for $10. It was basically one piece of toast with Avacado spread sprinkled with lime and chille. Taste was quite bland, some bites were tasty other nope. Was hoping for something better

Went to watch game as they have lots of TV'S. We ordered a chicken burger and fries. The burger was gigantic, it consisted of two very large pieces of chicken and of course all the fixings. It all was very good and the lady that was bartending was friendly and efficient.
