I hope what I experienced was just a case of me showing up on a bad day. They had a total of only two servers to cover a almost full restraunt and bar. But despite this, the food and drinks came quicker than I thought they would. Would love to come here again, so long as the management has more staff to help eachother out

We attended on a Friday night at about 530. They accommodated our group of 12 on short notice. Food was good, desert was mediocre (lava cake was microwaved and quickly became hard at the edges.) A few items were forgotten during ordering and service was on the worse side of sluggish.

Disappointing experience. One of our meals was stone cold on delivery, the kitchen totally overloaded 3 of our meals with jalapeno, and duty manager is uncomfortably familiar with his approach. More fun as a bar than a restaurant.

My friends and I were very disappointed with this place. We had a group of 18 people that went with us and there was no one else there, with 3 waitress’s even serving it took almost half and hour for some of us to get refills not to mention a couple of us including myself left with food poisoning due to raw cooked chicken in our meals. We were not only disappointed with the food but the service as well. Don’t get me wrong a table of 18 is a group and not always the easiest but partly raw chicken in our meals is not acceptable anywhere.????

I went there around 4pm on a workday, the apps were half price and to my surprise the draft was happy hour priced till 5:30. Service was very fast and pleasant. I should mention that they have a bitcoin ATM as that was the reason I went. tl;dr Good price, good fare, will be back!

I had a beef dip which was brought to me basically raw. The draft beer was also super flat. I'm not a complainer but it was a regrettable meal. This was in early September 2010, maybe they've improved since then.

Excellent and tasty food! The workers are engaging and friendly. Wonderful atmosphere. Somewhat pricey, but absolutely worth it. The food did take a hot minute to get to us, but again, it was definitely worth it. Was a very nice treat, and I would love to go again.

Came here on 2 occasions and both were not good....ordered fish and chips and the fish was bad.... second time ordered the same thing and it was under cooked.... very disappointed not returning

This spot is extraordinary! Environment is chill and cool however the staff is additionally truly well disposed. They realize what they're doing and what they're discussing, and you can tell satisfying the clients is their fundamental need. Food is very great, some works of art and a few turns, and at their costs it's 100% worth the effort.

Any and all safely guidelines against Covid-19 were blatantly disregarded. Not only was my order messed up, but the waitress had forgotten that she had taken my order in the first place. Food quality is awful, 16$ for a frozen hamburger patty.

Great staff, great humour, and great for those who like a dimly lit pub, with live music on weekends...and sometimes randomly throughout the week. Sometimes it can hey a bit rowdy, but there is usually a good, diverse crowd.

Covid restrictions had them limited to 10 guests. The staff was really friendly and pleasant. The Guinness was perfect, the food was really good. Ened up here for lunch after a 6 hour car ride and I couldn't think of a better place to have been.

I would give this place zero stars if I could. Covid rules seem non existent here and everyone is standing less than six feet apart, gross obnoxious atmosphere, loud rowdy regulars make it very uncomfortable for people who are new and trying to have a nice lunch and the cherry ontop is your bartender Katie in the bathroom ruffling around her plastic baggy then taking a huge sniff in the stall next to me. Nice job fox and the fiddle. Great place to go if you enjoyed druggie bartenders who drink on the job and an obnoxious owner and uncomfortable atmosphere for anyone other than your hippie 20 something year old looking to get drunk. Not a great place to have lunch or a business get together. Big YIKES and thumbs down.

Was excited to try this place since we have heard awesome reviews and got the complete opposite. Horrendous service from staff.. food was cold and took forever to arrive considering an empty restaurant, server I believe named Cassey was inattentive and visited our table once, we approached the bar to ask for another drink and the bartender redirected us to our table and told us she would send our server over, another 10 minutes went by. When we asked to speak to a manager we were told there was none available besides the bartender. Waste of money and extremely unhappy with the service. Poorly run buisness for one of north bays “hot spots”.

Up here visiting family and decided to hit up the pub before we head back south. The service was phenomenal! The food was all you could ask for, for pub grub. Great portions, hardy, and very tasty. I came here for a Guinness but their supplier short changed them over Christmas and didn't deliver their kegs of the sweet, sweet dark nectar!?!? Can't fault the Fox & Fiddle for that. Their soup was fabulous ????

Food was ok, though for 18$ I would have expected the hamburger to not be a frozen patty but fresh. More disturbing is that the waitress who served us, Amanda, was not wearing either a face shield or a mask at all, and the other waitress at the bar was wearing a mask only on her chin. So for somewhere that has signs saying masks obligatory, and not following the rules themselves is very disturbing.

Apparently COVID doesn't exist here. No directives followed. No distancing. People sitting shoulder to shoulder at bar. No masks worn by workers, or they are hanging around chin or below nose. Not sure why nothing has been done. There are other reviews stating the same thing.

Server after seating us didn't bring menus after 3 times asking for them and after 1 1/2 hours hadn't come back to take orders but she did take 9 phone numbers from the men bear the bar and table near by bar. When we did get food it wasn't complete in ingredients listed and ice cold along with the fries. And listed was feta cheese and what was on it was yellow cheedar that looked from plastic wrap. The pop was watered down and service was miserable Return would be like asking Donald Trump to be polite in other words a complete joke.

Had heard good things about this place so dropped in to eat and catch some tv. The cfl was on. The food is fairly priced. Staff are attentive. Was dull on a Saturday night, but what little ambience that was there was spoilt by a loud laughing customer (or employee) at one corner of the bar. There weren’t many customers but the few were visibly uncomfortable. I had the wings and the butter chicken but the disturbing loud laughter killed any appetite so i checked out. My review is based on one experience, am hoping it’s a better experience for others.

I had lunch at The Fox and Fiddle today during a gorgeous mid-day business meeting. The waitress was really pleasant but forgot to introduce herself. She was apologetic after she keyed in the wrong salad for my friend. The salad that I had was above average, but the chicken did not taste fresh. The meal was saved by the delicious Geteway City Brewery beer which had a spritzy composition on a good pour. Overall for this experience I would recommend another patio, but wouldn't write them off after one lackluster performance.

Went in for lunch at about 12:30. No one to greet us. Had our vaccine passports and Id in hand and stood there wondering whether to seat our selves? There were about 10 people in the restaurant and as far as I could see only 1 person working both the bar and the floor. Finally we asked if we could sit a a specific table and were told to wait just a minute as it hadn't been cleaned. We waited for about 10 more minutes and left. I don't blame the server. She was overwhelmed. Not a good experience at all.

We reserved a table for 15 people. We were told they could accommodate us. The server was polite and kind....but from the time we ordered to the time the first plate arrived was easily an 1h30 wait. And then, from the first plate to that last plate to be served was another hour! We had two young ones with us. While one of them was served somewhere in the middle, the other was served last (and he only ordered wings! Which should be an easy make for a pub!! )The place wasn't busy...which had it been Iight have understood the long wait time. And honestly for the price of the food the quality wasn't up to par. This might be a great place to get a beer...but...that might be it. I won't be back.

Nice place for drinks but not food. All of our food seemed like it was cooked in a toaster oven. The nachos were haphazardly tossed together and the burgers tasted like they were just dethawed from a supermarket package. The calamri was soggy instead of the expected crispy and came with only tzakiki sauce. Maybe they should decrease the size of the menu and focus on quality of a few particular pub choices. The place was virtually empty on a Saturday night besides men chatting up the young waitresses at the bar, looking for an escape from reality. Beer was cold though and the service was nice.

One of the places in the city with some night life. 6$ tall boys isn't too bad. The live bands are good but the current set up poses a bit of a problem for acoustics and has the band having to play very loud to sound right throughout the entire bar.

I usually go here just for casual drinks with friends or coworkers. they have a good selection of beers on tap. I've met the owner and he's a very nice man. They few times I did order food it was really good but it did take a while to get.
