Great atmosphere. Clean. Very friendly. Sadly the food was not fantastic. We had the rib appetizer which had an odd taste and my Montreal smoked meat sandwich was just waaaaay to greasy.

The best wings around! Our absolute favorite place to eat. Great setup for reopening during Covid with outdoor space and plexiglass inside. Love love the butcher shop attached to the restaurant. You can buy Don's amazing wings and make them at home !! Michele is best server ????????????????????????

I was so surprised when I stumbled into this place. It's actually pretty amazing. My salad was the best salad if had at a restaurant in years! They have to go meals, a butcher shop and a pub. At first I was curious and now I'm really excited to go back .

Despite being overly crowded the day I was in, the waitress, Alisha, was amazing with getting to all the customers and serving food being the only person on the floor. Unfortunately, some of my family members made rude comments here and there, but I saw how hard she was busting it. Keep it up, girl!

Waited over 90 mins for our food, our party of 7 all had their meals come out at seperate times (like 20 mins difference), asked for medium rare steaks got well done, the Chinese food we ordered was obviously frozen first and came out more like stew, with burnt egg rolls. The server did the best she could, however when asked what was going on she stated "when those 2 cooks are on shift together, nothing gets done" we watched a table walk out when they were told their meals hadn't even been started yet, and they had been waiting over 30 mins since placing their order AND they were still charged for their drinks. The place wasn't busy enough to warrant this.

Dons Pub is an incredible Pub. It is a pub and therefore serves alcohol, and is a bar, however it is very family friendly, you will be made to feel at home and part of the family. The restaurant is great, the food is quite good and prices are reasonable. The bar is extremely comfortable, the atmosphere is five stars⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐. The waitresses are very nice, very friendly, and their service is far above average. The cooks are good and will make your order perfect no matter how specific, or precise. They have karaoke on Thursday evenings beginning after dinner hour, around 7pm. Fridays and Saturdays usually have DJ, or live local bands usually playing old country/bluegrass to new country or soft rock. Don Leblanc (the owner) is an Amazing guy (also our towns local butcher, and best butcher around. So you are guaranteed to be getting only the freshest, and best cuts of meat as the butcher shop is adjoined to the Pub). Don's Pub is definitely the place to go if you are in Sturgeon Falls, and want to eat alone or with the family, or if you just want to kick back and have a cold beer alone, or watch the game with your buddies, or drink a little heavier and enjoy the music. Don's is definitely the Place to go for food, drinks or fun, alone, with family or friends. It has a Cheers like atmosphere because "everybody knows your name" snd if you're new, then it wont take long before everybody knows your name!!! Also, I do not work at this pub, I am not an owner, I am just a resident of Sturgeon Falls giving his opinion.

Wow, what a surprising shock. The food was so tasty. I had a hot turkey sandwich. All delicious white meat...and the gravy was fantastic. My husband had a bacon cheese burger, scrumptious, great fries as well. We will be back.

Don's Pub-grill and butcher shop are beyond perfect! I have eaten at the restaurant part about two time and the food is so satisfying and tastes amazing! He has some great deals all the time that are worth trying out. I would recommend trying it when you have the chance because it is worth it! The butcher shop part that is no an addition to the restaurant is worth checking out, if you like fresh meat that taste amazing then this is the place to go! he always knows what he is talking about and same with his staff. No matter which part of his shop you are looking to go into the staff is beyond friendly, knows what they are talking about and can recommend anything to you. support your local shops!

The server was very nice. However, the food has gone downhill. The last few times we have been have been very disappointing. Normally we love to bring our out-of--town guests out for lunch here, but now I wouldn't. It's too bad. We won't be back. We used to frequent this place multiple times per week. Must have gotten a different cook around summertime. Our fries were raw and chilli tasted like nothing more than ground beef, plain tomato sauce, and beans. Prior to this visit, we tried on 3 separate occasions to order a particular dish only to find ingredients listed right in the menu description missing.

The meal was great as it always is but don't let them split your Caesar salad if you ask for a family portion. It generally comes out much smaller and not mixed properly. We tried it that way few times now no more. Service is good little slow but good. Meals are good Price Rite
