Ace Ping Pong is an entertaining place to visit. Book a table, purchase a beverage or snacks and play some ping pong for 30 minutes. The venue is small, but cozy. There were couches to relax on and standing tables. There was beer on tap and a small menu of food. On a Saturday night, the place was packed. We had reserved a table a week in advanced and arrived just in time to play. A bucket of balls was provided, along with paddles. As we played, an employee wandered around scooping up loose balls. When our time was up, we enjoyed our drinks while watching others play. A DJ arrived just before we left, and the atmosphere was hopping!

A lot of fun. They have 3 tables, and BUCKETS of balls. You're not just chasing 1-2 balls around the room, so you can really get into a cadence. Add a small bar and some food, and it was a great time!

Great place to drop in to hangout, grab some drinks and play some ping pong or foosball. The service was excellent as they were very attentive and checked on us multiple times. There are about 2 ping pong tables and one foosball table. The kitchen however is missing a lot of options. It'll be nice if they restock in the near future.

My favourite spot to hit up after inhaling big dinners. I’ve had a few successful dates here despite having a tendency of smashing balls in their faces. Staff are very friendly and generous - two weeks ago a nice lady let us play for half an hour before they closed at 2 AM, and today the gentleman didn’t interrupt our last game despite being well over our hour booking. Thanks a lot! See you soon

I am a huge fan of unique businesses like this. The staff were super helpful, ping pong was a great time. And there were some retro games to play at the bar. Affordable drinks and food have me sold. I've already been here a few times since they've opened and I think it will become a local hotspot soon

I have never been here for it's intended purpose. I was here for an event, it was rented to us for the night. While there it was a good space for a dance floor, when the tables were not in it of course. Otherwise I have walked by a few times and always see people in there. Seems like a trendy place to hang out with some friends for some good memories. :)

Fun place! Only three tables. You can book the whole place, and get them to help you organize a little tournament. Rackets are decent, and staff are always helping to pick up the plentiful number of balls. Drinks are respectable as well. There's also an air hockey table for those inclined. Seating is pretty limited, with a single sofa, a couple of benches, and a handful of chairs.

Good value for money. You'd expect the paddles to be in good condition for what you pay, but some of the padding was flimsy on mine. Could be a one off problem though

Very friendly service, with a hop-to attitude. Lots of entertainment, with ping-pong, foosball, and and NES system with multiplayer. The menu is kinda unique, and they have different DJs often, giving the establishment a different flavour every night of the week. My favourite place to go with friends because we can still talk and engage with each other without being overpowered by loud music and belligerence.

The one thing I am always feeling sorry about the business owners is when they hire wrong people. Obviously they invested some amount in that place, but they lost one customer today because of their staff doesn't know how to communicate with customers. Just imagine you hustle whole week and just want to have fun for a 30 minutes and someone who is not enjoying working for the place ruining your relax time..

The place was really cool. The atmosphere was great; they have glow in the dark paint on the ceiling, color changing lights in the main area, and the bathrooms have really cool walls. The ping pong was fun, and cheap. Staff was really relaxed and welcoming.

Although they are high-priced over the weekend. It's a nice place to hangout once in a wile with your friends. They have three ping pong tables and I would suggest walk-in during weekends as they charge extra 5$ for reservations.

We had our Christmas staff party at Ace and it was a huge success! The ping pong was, of course, a huge hit, but the old school video games and air hockey table were great for between pong games. Mitch and Johnny took amazing care of us, and kept us satisfied with a variety of food and drinks. The only bad thing about the night was my lack of ping pong skill, so will definitely need to go back and practice soon!

Our visit here was absolutely phenomenal. Our servers were so friendly and the food was served hot and was amazing! We went on a Sunday and It's the perfect place for a late date night. Would recommend for anyone looking to try something new. Seriously don't pass this place up :)

Great tables and equipment for ping pong. My friend and I had the margarita pizza and cauliflower bites - both were delicious. Service was excellent and the beer was solid. Will definitely return.

Nice small business in uptown Waterloo. Only 2 tables but plenty of room to play. Service is extremely helpful and friendly. A little pricy but nice destination for an hour of fun and exercise. A good change from the normal bar or game.

Amazing place and amazing people. We went there a bit early (around 7ish) on a Friday evening and we were the first ones there. Blake hosted us and he is a wonderful host. He gave us the freedom to enjoy ping pong without worrying much about the time and gave us chips on the house. Also, the lighting and the music makes it a fun ambience. I personally had a Moscow mule which was pretty good and I would highly recommend it. Overall, if you enjoy playing ping pong with some alcohol, then this is a great place. Great idea to open this place!

Went there twice, didn't feel welcomed. The waitress was inattentive. The spring rolls were soggy. Honestly, they made me feel that i should leave the way treated me and that's what i did. Wouldn't recommend, rather go to ethel's lounge!

Fantastic, clean place with great equipment, super friendly staff, and decent music. The wait might be a little bit as tables are rented out for an hour and there's only 3 of them, but there's foosball you can play in the meantime or you can put your name on the waiting list and they'll be able to tell you how long it will be until there is a free table.

They were kind to me but very impolite to my friend. For reference, I'm white and he's brown. It kinda blew me away that they were willing to be gracious and accomodating for me, but treated him very poorly. If you're a white dude you're probably fine, immgrants and the ilk stay clear or risk being profiled. Other than that, it's a little bit pricey and nothing exceptional. Highly recommend supporting other businesses like Jane Bond which is local & inclusive.
