Over priced for what it is. Previously frozen chicken fingers are the go to for their signature main dish Sweet Chili Stir Fry. A $15 Club Sandwich with microwave bacon on dry toast. Best there is in a small town I guess. A few other issues. Two meals of four served 5 minutes apart. Almost 30 for meals. Nice server though. Complained they were over run due to it being wing night. Cash only though so the restaurant was barely half full. Just a bad day to go?

I really enjoyed the buddah salad I ordered. It tasted fresh and had a generous amount of chicken in it. The dressing tasted like a strange mix of dried herbs and it was sticky. I would suggest finessing the flavor of the dressing to perfect the dish. Service was friendly.

There was no attempt to provide a solution, update or resolution... The product knowledge level is less than that of Subway. This rating is for the dinner theater. The show was great because of the actors and the script. The food however would receive a 1 star only because the mussels were very good (appetizer) otherwise I would have given it a zero rating if that option was available. The rest of the options for the main course were sub-par at best. Please improve upon this aspect of the experience. If you need to charge a few more dollars per plate, do so. If a person is willing to pay the prices we did for a evening out a couple of more dollars to get a good meal would be well worth it. We had a group of 10 people, and not one person had a positive opinion of the the food, however, the show was a great hit. I'm hoping next year when we return to Summerside and attend the venue that there will be a improvement as it was a fun evening.

Wonderful Restaurant and will visit again, when we visit Sumerside. We didn't have reservations when we arrived which looked like might cost us a table. They did find a table behind the glass in the front door. The table was crammed in the small space and you needed to crawl over the other chair to get to the back. Being cut off from the rest of the table made for an enjoyable evening catching up with old friends with no disturbance from the other tables. I would request to sit here for private dinning. At times, however it seems like we were forgotten in the corner. But we were in no hurry and could have been to being busy the other parts of the restaurant. The server was prompt and quick at the end to clear the plates and provide the bill. The food was fabulous. Two of us order mussels and were likely the best I've had in a long time at a restaurant, maybe next time I'll order two or three serving of must mussels. But, after the mussels, I got the fish and chips. Fish was very tasty, but battered more than I like, however, this appeals to my wife. Chips (fries) were average with what you get at most restaurants and didn't stand out. We finished with chocolate cake with who-cream and when no one was looking, licked the plate clean. The restaurant appeared clean and our server was pleasant and friendly, I would look to sit in her section again. We enjoyed and visit here and would return again, especially for the mussels.

We had a good visit. The lobster rolls we're very good. Brothers 2 has a particularly good bread roll used to make their lobster roll. It beats the bread portion of almost all the lobster rolls I have purchased at different venues. The fries were better that most fries. Our server was friendly and timely.

What a great spot! We were looking for a place to celebrate our anniversary while traveling on PEI and this place was perfect. Every member of the staff greeted us with a smile and were very welcoming. Our server ,Charles, was very attentive and knowledgeable. He was very personable with all of his customers. I thought it was a pretty good experience. I just went with my family today for the first time. The food was mostly amazing. I had the chicken alfredo pasta and it was delicious. My dad had the ribeye steak and it was perfectly cooked. great cut. My mom had the lemon pepper haddock and it was only a little bit tough and dry. But mostly good. We shared a cheesecake for dessert. Kind of like turtles esque . It was pretty yummy. The food was brought out only after about ten minutes after we ordered. I only took one star off for the service. We had to wait a while for someone to come by to a while to get our order in. But overall a great experience.

Gorgeous restaurant with an unbeatable atmosphere. Brothers 2 is the place to be no matter the occasion. Great for coming in for a bite to eat or to have large groups. The menu also features many hit dishes and lots of local island produce.

Well.... To sum it up with one word... average. The steak was not a 27 Dollar steak and pales in comparison to some other steaks I've had in this price range. The sautéed onions and mushrooms are definitely an afterthought ... I would even go so far as to say that the mushrooms may have been quartered canned whole mushrooms grilled for a short time. This will not be my choice for steak in Summerside PEI. The owner of this establishment should revamp their website and menu to reflect the time honoured marketing strategy of expectation management.

Lobster roll was very good, as was the Basic B2 hamburger with cheddar cheese and bacon. Fish and chips we're very good and came with two battered fish. One landed up being a takeout as they were quite large even for my teen. The French Fries were very good, apparently local PEI potatoes.

What was nice about this place was the variety of options for sides, which is nice because eating too many french fries gets boring after a while. Staff were friendly and service was good. Great atmosphere. Great service. Great food. I'll say this. Usually in the winter here on PEI, getting fish and chips usually results in overall battered, soggy, freeze dried fish. However, this was not the case at Brothers Two. The fish was not grease. Not soggy. Nor battered to death. Not freeze dried. It was very very well prepared. Fresh tasting. Light on the batter. Nice and flaky. Comes to perfection. Not overdone in the slightest. The tarter sauce was delicious and the right consistency between to bland and too heavy or strong. They did an excellent job with the fish and chips in the winter. My one and only caveat is that the chips are not in house cut home style fries, crisped to perfection. All that aside, I do highly recommend trying it.

Dinner time. Service was friendly but slow. Good food. I had steamed mussels. It was tasty, no bad mussels to spoil the dish. The bread was fresh baked on the premise and one of the best bread I had. Will go back to try at lunch time ( I was not impress a year ago)

I had the 38 dollar steak, 14 in onion, mushrooms and sauce. it was overcooked, unable to cut due to veins a poor experience. I had 2 bites , paid and left. Not asked about meal. Honestly the worst steak I've had in over 3 years. Pleasant staff, I tipped 15% but will never eat here again. Summerside is a small town, cab driver told me never to order the steak at Brothers 2. When asking locals where to eat, this place was not mentioned.

Out of muscles. Out of lobster bisque. Ran out of plates had to use napkins. Some tables got bread. Some did not. Lobster roll good. SMALL soup with it. Spinach dip HUGE and over buttered. Fish and chips good. Asked for coffee. Got one ages later. Asked for a second cup. Never got it. Asked for an ice tea. Never got it. Customers were refilling their own water. Staff was very pleasant. But should have closed sections to save time and prevent customer and staff frustration. Yes we got a discount. But we specifically stated several times we would pay full price as the purpose of the review we gave the manager and on here was not get get a discount. But simply to review honesty.

We went here with very high expectations set by friends who live in Summerside. None of us were able to come close to finishing our meals. Everything was over cooked. I ordered a medium rare steak and got a well done steak where my wife got the salmon and It was over cooked. Seems funny to me that a restaurant beside the ocean was out of lobster. Place has comfortable seating and it was very clean. I'm thinking my experience there isn't a regular one but not being in Summerside often it will probably be my last.

Just left the restaurant very unsatisfied. The waitress was extremely superficial but polite. Did Not come back to check on how the food was. The chowder looked and tasted like it came out of the can. The fish of the fish and chips was extremely overcooked. The fries were soggy. The one star was for the beer which tasted good. I would definitely look elsewhere.

Honestly everytime I go to Brother's 2 I wonder why we bother. They are busy yes. The food takes forever and most things are over cooked, or when you do eventually get your food it's cold. It takes way too long to get even a drink refilled. We won't bother with brothers II anymore. Not worth our time and money. Overall mostly bad experiences. It's gone downhill.

I just visited that place today, and still have no idea if they hear here about food presentation, your plate will looks much better in IKEA restaurant or in diner at you work place,, chowder is the same as elsewhere around, (I start rhinking there is o e guy cooking them here) mussels where overcooked and i thing couple could be a bot dead before cooking, tested horrible, some had white eggs all over. Mu wife took haddock with young potatos. And here we having problem with presentation. It looked like..... I believe 10 year old had better sense and taste. But on other hand other places in PEI we've been earlier had same issue. Maybe it's lokal attraction to serve youre food looking like ..... but it didn't tasted better neither.

Man Answer the phone !!!!! earlier from this review I'm from out of the province so can get in the restaurant. called 5 min before their closure time like 10 times, and staying at the quality Inn. the call get hang-up few times other times no answer. I'm pretty sure is the server or a worker, because an owner will still accept people even at last minute, cause he wants his business rolling hope he get this though. it would be better if I get to try the food and give higher rank, but still not good experience. I worked in restaurants and will accept people even 5 minutes after closing time.

This place is overpriced for poorly cooked food. I have eaten here a few times and just when I think they are finally getting better you get a crappie meal. The last time it was over cooked mussels. I only eat here if I go out with a group .

Food was good but on the other hand waitress was not. She didn't check in on us to see if we wanted anything else or if our meal was fine. She spent more time going to the other two tables that was on the end of our table (we where the middle table). There was no reason why she couldn't of ask us if every thing was fine where she made several trips back and forth to the 2 end tables.

I got there about 7 just as a large group left. I sat at the bar because it was just me, and the very nice bar tender-Ben-mentioned it might be a bit of a wait because of that group, but since they had left it could be quicker. I ordered the lobster mussels and they were delicious. Ben also helped me figure out a local beer to try....and he also went to get my food to make sure my wait wasn't long. Quick friendly service and yummy food, can't ask for much more.

We are from Nova Scotia and it's our favourite restaurant when we are in Summerside which is a couple times a year. The food is always good and we loved our meals but the service this time was poor. It's usually great service but she wasn't friendly & didn't check in with us after we got our meals. The iced tea was watered down and by the time she came back we were done eating. She could have just been having a bad day so I won't post her name. If so I hope things have gotten better for her. We were disappointed that the Maple Curry Penne is gone off the menu. It was always the main reason we stopped there. Oh! The guy and girl singing & playing guitars on Saturday, July 7th, were great. We could have listened to them all night. Cheers!

We went to wing night last night and it was a disappointment. Waited long periods of time between placing a drink order and receiving it, the placing a food order and getting it. Potato skins I got were ice cold. Wings were ok but no mild sauce??? Really??? Waitress didn't come back to check on water refills or drinks etc. Two of the group ordered dessert and it was another 15 minute or more wait. Not overly impressed

4 adults..all 4 meals sub par. One meal so bad cream alfredo sauce was "off". Blackened haddock just covered with chilli sauce, way too hot. By the time the waitress came back to check on us it was a good 15 to 20 mins. Vegtables (carrots and beetroot) were cold. Bad meal was not compted.

We ordered a house salad to share as a starter, chicken and shrimp penne and fish with sweet chili sauce which came with new potatoes and veggies. Pros: - service was good in terms of wait times and checking in - salad (generous portion) and veggies including new potatoes were excellent Cons: - the chicken in my penne was missing. I didn't mention it because we were trying to head out after dinner for other stuff so I didn't want to wait longer plus you know how nervous you can feel about sending food back in a restaurant (what if they tamper with it? etc) so it was annoyance but still on me as I didn't give them a chance to make it right - sweet chili sauce on the fish was cloying and overpowered the fish - they were out of lobster (my first choice) and baked potato (my husband's first choice of side)
