Maybe it was coming at the end of the season but I was not impressed with the fried mussels or the spinach dip. The beer menu was focused on light ales and pilsners.

We went for the advertised fresh mussels daily which they did not have when we ordered. We then ordered the Bouillabaisse that was on the menu. The waitress returned after 10 minutes to inform us it was no longer a menu item. We asked for the menu back. Waited... received menus but the waitress didn't return to take our new order for 10-15 minutes. At this time,we paid for the drinks she brought us and left. It was a Sunday night and not busy.

Great service, would have liked more vegan friendly options to choose from and more pub type foods for my partner, but the food was good. We had plenty of leftovers to take back to our room at the hotel. The restaurant was busy and we had to choose a picnic table. I would have sooner waited for a real table or to have been seated at a firepit because it was quite chilly as the evening went long.

Have the fried soft shell clams which comes with very good salt and pepper fries. Great staff and beautiful view of the Harbour.

The fries were delicious. We also tried their burger and a medley of appetizers, which were all good. The fish tacos, even though recommended by the waitress, were very disappointing; they were supposed to have breaded haddock, lime salsa, red cabbage, cheddar, and sour cream, however the toppings were not proportionate for the size of the fish and the tacos. The fish cakes are huge and very very rich, almost too rich, finishing the two of them was at the end stomach-turning. The kids menu portions are huge. The waitresses were pleasant. When possible, get a table outside to enjoy the view.

Beautiful location on the Summer Side Marina Harbor. With a two-level outdoor balcony and ample seating indoors this is a great location for any size group. Menu is large and food was very well prepared. Everyone in our party had nothing but good things to say. The staff were happy and anxious to please! Will be visiting again!

There's a nice vibe here and the food is good too. Google does need better driving directions and/or Better signage for the business. There's not much of a street sign. The restaurant is in the Silver Fox complex.

Delicious spot to eat in Summerside, which didn't seem to have too many available food options open in October. Breakwater Bar & Grill is on the waterfront, so great views when dining on the patio deck. Had the 1lb mussels with garlic and wine sauce, which were delicious followed by the must try seafood lasagna which was creamy, cheesy, filled with seafood (generous chunks of lobster, scallops, shrimp, haddock and salmon), served with a side of tasty garlic bread. This dish is like nothing I've tried before and something I would definitely come back for!

My partner and I went there for supper and we were quite disappointed. First, the positive: the drinks were really priced and the view if seated near the water, is quite nice. Now the negative: The location was quite difficult to find as the restaurant is actually housed under the Silver Fox name. Upon getting in we were seated, and we ordered drinks and food a little while later. We waited at least 10 minutes until we received our drinks and upon getting our drinks, the waitress said she would be back in a minute with our food. She didn't lie. So, not only we had to wait for our drinks but we didn't really get to enjoy them and relax before getting our food. We both had stir fry and while stir fry is usually an economical option, this $23 (chicken was a $6 add-on) stir fry was not very impressive. The four pieces of chicken in the stir fry were a bit dry and the veggies were overcooked and a bit mushy. The waitress came back with the bill when our drinks were still nearly full, and rushed us through the payment, with a "Ok, have a good night, thanks, bye" and promptly left. We were in and out under 40 minutes and definitely didn't feel like this was a $70 supper (with a $10 tip). The restaurant was busy, but certainly not at capacity. We just felt like they wanted us to be in and out so very fast. While the food was certainly not "terrible", the service certainly felt sub par. I would probably not return.

Food is good. Reasonably priced. Marc was our waiter. He gave us great service and good recommendations for what to order. He also went to get us warm blankets since we were on the 2nd floor's outside deck, with a beautiful view of the marina and Summerside's harbour. We will definitly be back.

All three of us had the lobster crepes and loved it! One of the best meals we've had while traveling the area. Crepes were rich and lobster was fresh. Service was excellent and the views from parts of the restaurant are beautiful.
