It's a bar. Nothing more, nothing less. I did have a martini which I enjoyed but it took forever to get. I find this place attracts a wide variety of people which seems like a good thing and they usually have pretty good live music. No matter how bad this place treats me I always seem to end up there at the end of the night.

My first trip to the The Martini Bar was when it opened in 2004. The staff have come and gone over the years, but the level of service and class has remained the same. The best bar in Newfoundland by far. Great drinks, employees and clientele. It is the right place and the right time.

Best place to ruin your weekend vibe!!! Charged for cover and waited for 30 mins to get the ordered place. Left the place without being served. Didn't knew they collect charity in form of cover charge. Wouldn't send my worst enemy to this place.

This was described by a local as a "meat market" and that seemed pretty accurate. It's a big place, with two floors that play different music. The music was great. It seemed like a younger crowd downstairs and an older group upstairs. Definitely recommend this spot for dancing, but be prepared to get/fend off some attention

Where is the zero star button. Atrocious service, they overcharged my credit card. I tried to sort it out on the phone but every time they said they couldnt help me until they where in the office. They never tried to call me to pay me back the money they owe me. It put a real dampener on my lovely trip to Newfoundland and St John. Plenty of other places in town to go so I'd recommend avoiding this place at all costs.

One of my favorite night spots on The Rock! Usually has a cover band / DJ and a more mature crowd. Weekend cover charge is $5 after ~22:30.
