Mannnnnnn...I have ordered about four times now and The food is always fire and consistent. I have tried the jollof and pound yam so far. They are always honest about preparation times or delays, which is something appreciate. Also great customer service. Come here and you wont be disappointed.

I always go my favourite African store right next door and when I heard tasty jollof opened up next door, I ran to the place to check them out as I am a huge supporter of all things local. I walked in and met the lovely owner who knows exactly what's she's doing i must say. Friendly, kind, good customer service, and can COOK. Just ordered ayamashe sauce and some rice... very tasty. This lady is definitely a welcomed development. Go check them out guys. you won't regret going.

I bought food from this restaurant around 2pm. I don’t get how they would serve stale food during the day or even at all. They rice I got had a fridge taste and was slimy as If I got served food from a day before. Yet they claim they sell fresh food. This was the nastiest experience I have ever had ???? That was my first time trying Nigerian food and I think I made a wrong choice with this restaurant. The chef is horrible for that! Beware do not go to this restaurant!!! They do not sell fresh food! Edit: I purchased jollof rice and stewed chicken from Tasty Jollof last week Thursday around 2 pm. You open around then so I do not understand how it was not fresh. Just giving my experience on your restaurant. At least take corrections from there. I know what stale food tastes and looks like. Have a nice day.

This was my second time trying Nigerian food and it was soo good. I’ve been looking for fufu all over Scarborough and I’m so happy I found this place. The girl took a little long to place my order but that’s my only complain Update: I’ve been here 5 times now and every time the food is never ready on time. The girl in the front has so much attitude every time. Food is good but I won’t be returning because of the terrible customer service.

Tasty jollof is a best modern Nigeria restaurant in Scarborough. I live in ajax and there is no naija restaurant around us. So, this is best ever I can easily order from. The food was tastier and the decor of the restaurant was very sophisticated. I ordered food for 40 people and it was fabulously great ????.

Great food from previous experience. I was planning on placing a big order for an event ahead. I looked elsewhere because they never answer the phone. I shouldn't have to call anywhere four to five times each day to place an order. It has been like this every other day. Thankful I took my order somewhere else and my needs were met. Their food was too salty and they served me bones with my jollof rice. The owner is so rude and the staff aswell. They don’t answer their phone and when they do they talk rudely. This is the worst African food I’ve ever had. I don’t think they have enough staff. I waited for 40 mins to get my food. Terrible restaurant. If I could give it no star at all I would.

Ofe ajiri ịhụnanya sị - Translation: Food well made with Love. We bought Onugbu Soup (bitterleaf soup) Assorted, Suya, Abacha mixed with ugba(African oil bean seed) and Fish. The bitterleaf soup was thick and goes down well with pounded yam. You can taste the cooking passion of Chef Bridget in each dish. Each bite resonates with quality and consistency.
