Went for a dinner with friends, sat on the heated patio (which was lovely) and was served by Jason. Jason was so enthusiastic, attentive, engaging and made us feel so welcome. We laughed so much at his stories and we think he enjoyed ours about the animals. Looking forward to going back in the future!

Thank you to Parisa, Elnaz and Scott for their outstanding service this past Saturday at Moxies Richmond Hill. They took care of us with smiles on their faces and wonderful attitudes. Worked with Craig to organize our event on the patio there and had about 40 people. The service was quick and friendly, drinks were flowing and our guests had an amazing time. I would recommend this location to anyone looking to have a night out or a delicious dinner. The food we had for our guests were great portions, hot and tasty! Truly - our guests had an amazing night, which was so nice considering it's been so long since we've been able to do something like that. It was a joy working with the team at this location and we look forward to our next visit. Well done Moxies!

Great food and service! We ordered blackened chicken sandwich. If you like spicy food, then you will like this. Also ordered Southern fried chicken sandwich which was excellent. Kale salad (with chicken) was dry as they said it was lightly seasoned, but they brought extra seasoning. Chicken tenders were crispy and done to perfection. Lastly, salmon with lemon flavor, was perfect.

We were seated quickly, but after we were seated no one came up to us for about 10 minutes. We even debated leaving. I guess a server recognized we had not been served, so he helped us. We were clearly not in his section, but he stepped in to serve us. He said he had only been working there three days, but he made our dinner so much more enjoyable. He was attentive and helpful, and recommended options that we enjoyed. I don't recall his name, but he was fantastic! The food was delicious as well. We would go to Moxie's again

Sat out on the overflow patio which is in a section of parking lot, nice and spacious. Our server was really helpful, patient, friendly and attentive. Really like their vegan/ plant based menu, and they have non alcoholic options other than soda which are very tasty.

Our waiter was exceptional- thank you! Wait time was not long, we were told over the phone it would be 30mins to be seated when we called from the parking lot. We walked in to put our names on the list and didn't wait 30mins, we were seated right away. Food was really good. Recommend the shrimp tacos.

Had our Christmas dinner here on Friday Dec 17th. A bit hectic with many servers helping out, we were a table of 10. Order a bottle of Amarone only to have it opened, poured and handed out without asking us to taste or even see him on the bottle. Bad service when ordering their most expensive bottle. Food was fair and no complaints. Service was sketchy. No one knew who had ordered what. 2 stars on the service. One highlight was Brie at the door, super friendly and had us all checked quickly and super nice.

A lovely night having dinner with my friends here. Food and drinks are excellent here. The service are wonderful. I totally love how helpful my server was in giving me good a good suggestion for which dessert to go for. Had a great chat with the manager too.

The service was pretty good. The steak has great taste and texture. The steak menu comes with one of three sides: roasted potatoes, stuffed baked potatoes with mashed potatoes, lemon quinoa. The stuffed potatoes is the best choice in my opinion. There is a special effect on kids' menu's ice cream.

I grew up in Markham and I’ve seen this place evolve over time and now I can tell why it has high potential. People like Parisa and Jesse can come along and change the entire atmosphere on how things are run and be very aware of their surroundings. This hasn’t been the case over the years. I’m very analytical and there is no need to post this review other than recognizing these great people. The food was great and I’m glad to see new selections and exploring different areas and concepts.

Came here for a late dinner. Ordered the prawn tagliatelle and realized it came with all tiny shrimp scampi. Then asked the server is that right and manager came by and said there should be 3 prawns and rest should be scampi. Looked in at the bottom then found the three prawns. Anyway don't understand why mix with small scampi just call shrimp tagliatelle and for that price you should use real prawns not mix with cheap shrimps. Didn't eat the whole dish. I would not bother with this dish at all.

Worst food and bad service. Me and my partner had the chicken Alfredo and are stomach have not stopped hurting ever since. The food was bland and the portion is small for such a hefty price. The waitress was also very rushy, we understand there’s a time limit but we just sat down and she asked us if we know what we want. We asked to give us some time and she came back 2 minutes later and we told her we are not ready, she looked annoyed. When asking for dessert as well, she looked annoyed. She was outside smoking after we left so maybe she was wanting to end her shift but no need to rush us. Tipped her nonetheless but the food was definitely rotten.

DISAPPOINTED. Went for a nice friday night dinner and was really excited. It was pretty busy but our server was great. Got a guacamole and calamari to start. Guacamole was good however the calamari was so SALTY like really salty. I later got a crispy chicken sandwich and regular fries. My partner got half a rack of ribs with sweet potato fries. My crispy chicken sandwich was cold. The cheese was floppy on top the bun. The chicken wasnt even crispy. My fries were soggy and cold. They looked like they had been sitting there since lunch. My partner's ribs were again COLD. Fries were soggy and you know what's worse, the side vegetable weren't even cooked. Our server were nice enough to offer us free desserts but we didn't want any so she took off the guacamole from our bill. Very disappointed.

The service was very good but the food was just soso. The flavour on the spicy wings was not evenly distributed and the coating was like wet dough. The salsa and avocado dip was good. The burger and fries were very good, it must have been a challenge to keep the patty juicy by leaving it pink on the inside, and the fries excellent. The hard lemonade could definitely use more vodka to balance the lemon.

I come to this location pretty often. The food, drinks and service are always consistent. The server told us that Moxie’s discontinued their daily specials post covid but only continue to do their Wednesday wine special. Lucky us, we happened to be there on a Wednesday lol so we ordered plenty of bottles and appetizers to share. The indoor seating is limited to a max of 10 people like any other restaurant establishment atm but this Moxie’s offers a well heated patio to accommodate more guests. We didn’t feel cold at all and had a great time overall!

My first dinning at a restaurant since the lockdowns started 2020. We made reservations and were instantly. Due to a rainy afternoon we had some delays and were helped with some adjustments. They have cover patio and the ambiance was neat. Loads of parking here. The food and drinks are amazing… the prior reviews will attest this claim. We had Calamari, lettuce wraps, salmon basil lemon, pasta and the awesome white chocolate brownie (A MUST). I had the beer on tap and wifey tried pineapple basil margarita. Both were light though. This is the busiest and most recommended Moxie’s as told by our server (btw… she was awesome and very attentive)… kids get some cool complementary desserts. The berry filled donuts were yum.

This place is definitely a five star location. This place keeps getting better and better. The food, the staff, management, and entire roster is fantastic. I have been going to this location multiple times, especially during the summer. From the moment I walk-in, the staff are attentive, warm, polite and greet you in a professional manner. It was in the summer where I met Sabrina (the manager) who made my Moxies experience wonderful! Last night i was with a group up of friends situated in the enclosed heated patio and had a fanatic time, Kostas who was our server was outstanding his PR, friendliness, service a and humour was phenomenal. However, the credit must go to Sabrina. Her professionalism, leadership, worth ethic and relationship building skills is top-notch. Sabrina definitely takes pride in her work and ensures the highest satisfaction is provided to its customers. Last night Sabrina went out of her way and provided me and my friends with a complimentary dessert to showcase her appreciation for my business ! Sabrina you are an absolute gem thank you for all your hard work and creating a strong team of great staff. Looking forward to more times at this location. This place definitely has my business. Came in for a couple of drinks, spent the better part of an hour waiting for a beer and then for an old-fashioned which came out watery. Only really seemed to get any attention when I asked for the check. Waitress was nice enough to take the old-fashioned off the bill but I will not be back -- you can spend less money elsewhere and have a much better time. To upper management: if you're really that short-handed that it takes an hour to serve a beer and a short drink, maybe you need to work a little bit harder at hiring more people.

All I'm going to say is that our server Carol (I believe her name was Carol) made this night one of the best dinner services we've had in a long time. She was upbeat, took care of us, got our food to us promptly and made us feel awesome the whole time after not going out for indoor dinning in quote some time. Owners need to give this lady a raise and if they want continued popularity, have her serve everyone.

Came in last night and I want to start by saying the service, people and staff were all super friendly and I have nothing bad to say about them. I got the cashew chicken lettuce wraps which were perfect. Tasted amazing, lettuce was nice and thick (perfect for a lettuce wrap). They had also cleaned the lettuce well. There’s nothing worse than seeing dirt or sand in your lettuce. The reason for this 3 star review is because of the New York steak. I paid $44 and I have to say it was the worst steak I have ever had. I can guarantee the chef did not put any salt on it :( Furthermore the steak tasted like pure char leading me to believe they had not cleaned the grill in a long time. It was a shame because the steak was cooked perfectly on the inside. I couldn’t taste any beef or meat. It was pure pure burnt tasting outside that seeped into the meat. Overall I would come here again as the service was great, food is great, just not the steak in my opinion.

Hi I came to moxies on August 11 2021, I sat inside the dining since it was so hot outside. My server name was Monica. She was amazing so nice so friendly she could tell I had no idea what I wanted to order. She helped me by suggesting the chicken Rigatoni it was so yummy and the red wine sangria , also your new desert key lime pie that was heavenly. Coming after two years during covid times. They followed all the covid rules. nothing has changed the Custmer service excellent the food heavenly. I will be coming back alone and with family Thank you for the best experience ever. Note this was my first time back after the lockdown I really appreciated how your staff makes your customers feel safe and at home.

During our night out with friends, we were blessed with a great waiter. Nima always kept an eye out for us during the busy nights and always came around and fulfilled our needs. I went to this location today with my wife after two years of not going to a restaurant. Tara made our night special. She was very sweet and made good recommendations. She checked up on us at exactly the right times. Me and my wife are vegetarian so we got the power bowl and vegan lettuce wrap. It was good highly recommend this location. Decent pricing compared to its immediate, surrounding competitors. The food is not particularly outstanding, but it's good enough for a hangout with friends. The drinks are a bit weak though. Seems like the bartender might not be filling the jigger properly when making drinks.
