Very busy club with 12 courts that are rented out at most times. Weekend meet ups and drop ins are popular. There are badminton lessons offered for a fee that's split based on the number of players in the class. The place is reasonably clean and there are tournaments organised. If four to six players rent out the court together, it works out to be pretty reasonable.

Good badminton facility. It has 12 courts albeit a little cramped. Would have been good if there was a small lounge for sitting snacking. The owner chose to maximise every square foot by adding courts. Ample parking and good lighting.

Not a particularly good badminton spot. Floors are worn out. Building is run down. The drop in system is awful, our group was moved around from court to court half a dozen times in 2 hours. Their prices are similar to epic which offers much better facilities.

Lots of courts but looks a bit dull overall. They have a small changeroom area and bathrooms (separate from eachother). They also have a sma area that sells racquets, grips, and other badminton gear. They offer stringing service as well. Drop in is $8 per person on weekends for non-members and $7 for members.

This is my go-to-place when I have a big group. Really busy in the evening of Friday-Sunday so make sure you book a court. Respectful owner and staff.

I have been coming here for years and have had very positive experiences. The manager is very polite and accommodating unlike some other clubs. He is very well aware of his guests and will try his best to rotate drop-in players on and off the courts. If you are new or a veteran and are looking for somewhere to play, Commander is highly recommended.

We've only come here a few times for drop-ins and the experience has always been very positive. $7 gets you 4-hours of play and no guest fees or membership is not required. They always have designated courts for drop-ins unlike other places where you might get removed because a member has booked the court or they close early because none of the courts were rented.

Much better place! I was there about 5 years ago last. They seemed to have fixed up the place, and, now, it is much better place to be. The lighting is improved much, the courts and the washrooms are all better. Good job!!

Owner and staff are extraordinary nice. Recommend any badminton players to go here. Has mat and high ceiling. Prices are reasonable/fair. Drop-ins mostly have a space/court to play in. 5/5 Stars from me. Way to go!

Grate place to place and the price is very fair, the only cons here is you have to pre-book a lot earlier cause is very crowded as it is a grate place to play.

We came to drop in on a Thursday night around 7:00pm. The whole place is under construction and is pretty disorganized -- we even walked in without anyone asking for payments. We could have just played without paying, but we were honest and found a worker to pay for our drop-in. We were willing to grab the 10 punch card for $70, but the worker didn't know how to process it and told us to wait until his boss came. Nice guy, but we were kind of thrown off by the service already. The place itself is not organized: it has 12 courts, but only 4 of them were available for drop-in play and they have zero queue system. They say courts change every 15 minutes, but no alarms or notifications are sounded to switch, and when there is a switch, there isn't any sort of real line up (ie. placing your racquet in tubes), so it's a free for all for whomever gets on the court first. They also have benches IN BETWEEN courts, with people sitting or standing, so we were afraid to play freely in case we ended up hitting someone that was sitting or standing on the sidelines. The two players we were matched up with ended up wanting to play half-court singles, which we were pretty annoyed with, and when they were done their match, they forced us off the court even though we didn't get to play a real match nor finish our "full 15 minutes of play". We ended up walking out after and probably will never go back. We've been to Lee's, Su's, 4U Badminton, Lion's, and play 3x a week at a club, but we were seriously disappointed with pretty much everything here, when all we wanted was an extra session during the week. If I could give zero stars, I would.

The owner of this badminton center always favours people he knows over other people and will change the rules of the badminton center accordingly. He constantly argues with his customers. I highly recommend going to a different badminton center it will be more worth it for you if you play somewhere else. I would put 0 stars if I could!

I always come here with my friends for some friendly games. High ceiling, mats were updated recently. Owner and staff are super nice, it can get really busy, call ahead to book a court. They also have drop in hours/courts. Fees are reasonably priced.

Commander needs air conditioning and heating. In the winter it is extremely cold and in the winter it is extremely hot. Also, some if the nets have holes in them and they don't bother to change them.

Solid4.5/5. Sept. 2019 the foyer is all renovated nicely. Open concept. 1. Coolest staff of all clubs. Reasonable regulations. 2. Low rates. 3. Great court environment (floor, background, lighting etc.) 4. AND You can sit n eat at a spacious, proper picnic table setting! No other major club has that I know of (Epic, 4U Lee’s C12 Agincrt dont) Only caveat: few courts arent in excellent shape (one has tape anothr has a few lumps on edge) AND DOESNT OPEN TIL 11! Guys open at 9am pls! ????????????????????????

Been a regular at this place for a long time. Awesome friendly staff. Court conditions are well maintained and clean. The ceilings are decently high. There are vents overhangs on 2 courts that may potentially interfere with your shots. Lights are properly diffused, only notice some minor problems on 1 court. They added new chairs and plenty of benches for you to leave your equipment and sit while you rest. The entrance can be difficult to find, just look for the sign. Debit and cash only.

Conginiality among players is good. Enthusiastic members n players. The facility is showing Rundown. Courts are wearing, Walls are Discoloured , No Showers but Change room Good. Bathrooms could use regular clean up. Lighting n ceiling under par!

Summer 2019: Called from the parking lot to ask if there were courts available for drop in, was told yes. Walk in 2 minutes later and the people behind the counter wouldn't even talk to us. They were saying something unsavory about us in another language because they were laughing and sneering with some of the resting players, as I was trying to ask questions about court availability. Admitted that I was the one who called a couple minutes ago when they said they had a court and was rudely told to leave and that there were no courts for drop-in. Waited outside to see what kind of treatment others got; a group of Chinese people came in for drop-in about 5 mins later and was quickly given a court. For context, I am a brown man and was with a group of POC. Don't know why I was turned away but this is my experience at this court.

Great establishment. Always a good time. Very courteous staff. Overall clean, occasionally the A/C drips water but it's an older building so it's to be expected. The staff addressed it immediately so it's not a big deal.

I used to go there and the air temperature during warmer months is way too high . It was once 28C when AC is off. It was 24-25 even when AC is on. It is much higher than Canadian guideline which is 20 in summer. Not all the guys playing here are as strong as steel. Miners and seniors are around there as well. It is a health and safety concern. If someone collapse there, the management can be deemed to responsible because they didn't follow the guideline.

The people here are super friendly! I always come here for badminton outside of school and every time there's always a group of the regulars who ask my friends and I if we want to join. They're also nice enough to give some tips for beginners. The prices are reasonable and there's a decent amount of courts. The only downside is that there's no water fountain and it's always busy (I'm assuming everyone comes here for the reasons I've listed). Its hard to find courts but the workers do try their best to ring a bell when it's busy to let the people who are off court a chance to play. Other than that, I recommend coming here for the experience!

Very economical playing badminton there with 12 courts, you can rent 1 or 2 courts for your own group or play drop by with different levels of players , young & old , venue doesn't have shower, air conditioning is not turned on , courts not under padded, not so good for the knees , rest area is very limited. Players are generally friendly .
