Now this place is a little gem. The vibe is yacht club at the cottage. The food delicious, and they did my octopus right. I was large beer and wine selection. Parking can be weird as it is limited on-site. Lastly the staff is professional and friendly.

Poor service (slow, very little attention), tasteless food, very very overpriced. $1 oysters we're excellent. Slow cooked beef lacked any flavour and had no sauce. Thumbs down. Octopus was cooked right but had nearly no flavour whatsoever and the dishes balance was very off. Extremely salty combination made dish inedible. All dishes felt incomplete. Lemon cake desert was average at best. Highly do not recommend this restaurant. Looks to be a trendy place (cool bar) and that is all.

Absolutely amazing Saturday evening spent here. I highly recommend to anyone visiting Montreal; around 10pm a DJ began playing music and turned into a bar atmosphere. The tuna tartar was fantastic.

This resto is a hidden gem. Not sure why the reviews are not more positive. The food was excellent! My wife and I had the best mushroom gnocchi as well as a stewed beef( macreuse). Great drinks as well.

We ended up at the boating club after a sushi dinner with colleague,last summer The spot was very crowded, so service was a bit slow. The drinks were good. It was cosy, we were close to the little fire place. The waiter was warm and the orders were on point. And prices were average compare to other soots. Music wasn't the best selection, but I would give it another shot and try the food as well.

Good food, relatively quick service, staff too dressed down, too casual. Around 2100 music starts getting louder to the point where holding a conversation is impossible. That was annoying and we left. Getting the tab at the end of the evening was quite the chore.

Have been several times, always great food! A favorite of mine is gnocchi with mushroom sauce! The lobster ravioli was fantastic as well! Great service and pleasant vibe at the bar!

The place was crowded on Thursday night and I had to wait to be served at the bar. The prices are reasonable. My friend had a slow cooked beef and it was delicious however I took a fish tartar and it lack any flavor. I would go again on a different night and would order octopus and scallops!

very good place. good food. i ordered a plate of Ravioli lobster. i counted the ravioli cause it was too ridiculous. i counted 8 ravioli served in my plate. i would give it 4 starts, but 2 is the best unless otherwise. its all about the customer's experience.

We went for a birthday party. We were a group of about 30. The menu was set and food was brought out and shared 4 people at a time (2 nearest tables) they didn't supply any serving utensils. The desert was in an oversized Mason jar. Only spoons were provided. How are strangers supposed to share that? Food quality was good, just a touch on the salty side.

Just read the new menu!!! Everything form anywhere in the world but here!!! We have great Quebec products!!! Why get meat from New-Zealand when we have amazing products here??? All the menu is New York! So for Laval its very over price !!!

Celebrate my birthday there last night and we took the group menu at $45. It was worth our money, the food was delicious especially the Gnocchi! I usually don't like Gnocchi but at Boating Club it was amazing! The service was fast and friendly. The music was good. I had a wonderful time for my first time.

A trendy dining experience at the bar or a table. Super friendly staff and an outstanding kitchen. A fun place for a meal winter or summer. My recommendation would be to order the dollar oysters on a Sunday. Make sure to get a side of mouth watering fries and chase it down with some ice cold vodka!

Went to a birthday celebration at this restaurant. had never been there before. we will definitely be going back. The oysters were the freshest and BEST I've ever eaten. A major snowstorm was not enough of a deterrent to result in a full house in this hugely popular bar, resto and ad hoc dance club on the Saturday night where I went to celebrate a surprise birthday party. Married, I am told that this historic site of a St. Rose boating club is a vibrant place to meet, literally every night of the week. Food was much better than I expected. Multiple varieties of hamburgers, steak frites and green salad were not the fare. I had a delicious ris de veau, moist and tender accompanied with a side salad that was soaking in a rich French vinagrette The gnocchi and lamb shank were dishes that others enjoyed, I skipped the birthday cake by going to the downstairs bathroom and wine Cellar but plates were empty on my return. Live DJ music was playful and became more mouvemente as the evening wore on. . Definitely will return this summer for drinks on the veranda.
