Last time i came here it was a different owner and name. New owner has done a top notch job renovating. Chef knows his food. Service professional and friendly(Stef!) This place should do really well. Had the clubhouse. They put pulled pork instead of bacon. It was an explosion of flavours. House made fries too. Thats how you know they care. Definitely be back again.

The Grantham house is a nice quaint little gem in the city. The food is a major step above local bar food. I highly recommend the Southern Fried Chicken with that Maple Garlic Aioli. You just want to drink that stuff up.

The Grantham House is a truly spectacular restaurant. The food, the service and the experience are all something to remember. Our memorable order was the chicken wings with a side of their house made blue cheese. We will not forget our overly enjoyable experience at The Grantham House. The next time we are near that area of St. Catharines, we will have to return.

A few friends and I went, the hostess made this by far the most uninviting experience at a restaurant I have ever had. She was rude multiple times in the 5 minute encounter we had with her. We were so put off by her attitude and lack of customer service, after she told us to seat ourselves outside we just left and will never be back. I feel sorry for the other employees that have to work with that woman and engage with her on a daily basis.

At least they are trying. The burger was overdone and dry but had good fries. Interesting menu but needed better execution. Could be great if they had better cooks with talent. Definitely regulars come first with the staff, I was ignored and forgotten about. Don’t really think I’d go back but maybe.

My co-workers and I gathered for a cookie exchange in December. They had the back room perfectly set up for us. Amy, our server, was very attentive and helpful. Everyone loved the food. I'm excited that they serve hushpuppies! The kitchen staff came out to say hello, as did the owner. Cozy yet modern decor and welcoming atmosphere. And big props to Stephanie for setting it up! I will do my best to become a regular :).

Ordered take out tonight and loved it!! Super friendly on the phone and when picking up our order! I had the fried chicken sandwich and fries. Super fresh and delicious !! My girlfriend had the beet and goat cheese salad and loved it!! Looking forward to getting back in the restaurant so we can pair the great food with beer :)

Nice upbeat feel and great atmosphere. Staff was great and pleasant. Food was good this . It was great to go to the other room after our group ate to play pool and ping pong. Tables and equipment are in great shape $15/hr to use. Update Feb.10/19 My review remains the same. Food wasn't as salty this time. Though my salad wasnt the greatest. You could see the greens and shredded carrot were starting to turn along the with greens the were placed for display of my friends chicken wings. Plus there is now tax on the $15 to play pool. Which is uncalled for. I believe $15 is alot to pay already. Though your equipment is still in great shape.

I come here to play darts sometimes and love the atmosphere. The lighting for the darts could be a little better but the staff are so kind you just forget all about the dimly lit dart board. I would definitely come here again.

Our first time at The Grantham House and it was a great evening with a bunch of friends that all sit around each other at the Ice Dogs games. Section 105 was well represented! From what I saw of the place it was nice and spiffy with some clean decor. The menu had a few unique items on it that were enjoyed by all. The service was great too! Enjoy!

It's a very nice, relaxing atmosphere. Our waitress was really sweet, we sat in the game room, played ping pong and enjoyed a cold beer. Will definitely go back again soon!

One of our first outings, very disappointed. My husband ordered the Brisket sandwich, I’m aware it is a fatty cut of meat but it was full of fat chunks and the bun it was served on was inedible. I had raved about the Beet and Goat Cheese salad and was sorely disappointed. It was an expensive lunch and lesson. In Response We weren’t looking for a free meal we were looking for a good meal and the way I see it if your kitchen is comfortable putting out that type of food have at it.

The Grantham House is a gem in St. Catharines. The food is unbelievable and the atmosphere is fantastic. It is our "date night" go to every.single.time! We also held a private event here and Mark was so accommodating and helpful and made our night so memorable. They make the absolute BEST Moscow Mule and the cauliflower bites are delicious. GO TO THE GRANTHAM HOUSE! You will not be disappointed.

Got the Beat and Goat Cheese Salad, The Grantham House Sandwich and Nachos with Whisky BBQ Chicken for take out. I thought I would need the nachos with the sandwich. Wow what a mistake that sandwich was Massive . The Nachos was excellent . My wife loves their beet salad. My first time there and will be back to dine inside once it's allowed or will just got the patio .

I attended a gathering of friends at Grantham House for lunch and some pool in the back room. Waiter was friendly and we didn't have to wear our masks as long as we were in the room. This was fun and felt like a normal outing without Covid looming over us! Enjoyed the food and the staff!

The waiter was training but very attentive to our needs. The plate of nachos wasn't just very good but awesome and the best I have enjoyed anywhere in my life. I recommend to any lovers of nachos and my only complaint was that I forgot to take a photo to remind me of how amazing they were.

We ordered a burger, pretzels, veggie wrap, poutine. Didnt get the poutine. Not sure how can this be missed on a slow evening in an empty place. Edit* - to response to the owner. We called and called and called to fix the situation however nobody answered the phone and the other times it was stated the phone was not in service (for about an hour), which probably means the phone was busy. Not sure why you would assume we wouldn't try to fix the problem.

$47 for 30 cold, under cooked chicken wings?! $9 for a plate of French fries (which probably cost them $1 to make) & $32 for a steak?! It cost us $84 (before tip) for 2 - and we still left hungry. I understand they’re newly open, but at these prices - along with a menu that tries to be “fancy” - peanut butter & bacon burger....really? - I’m afraid that unless your going for drinks, that this place won’t be able to survive long.

They went above and beyond helping with lighting, set up and all the fine details. They checked with us regularly to make sure everyone had enough food, drinks or anything else needed. I went for my birthday dinner. The waitress was unable to tell my friend if there was palm oil in the croutons after telling us they were made in the restaurant. (When it came the croutons were clearly not made in restaurant) The food took a very long time, which is understandable because we were a larger party. However when it came there were many problems. My friend who ordered no bacon on her salad got bacon, and then it was just picked off as the new salad also had bacon under some of the lettuce, three of the people waited an extra ten minutes for their food. My well done steak was still very pink in the middle. Two people ordered coffee drinks and it took a very long time for them. My mom ordered maple bourbon chicken nachos and the chicken didn’t have the sauce on it. One friend received dry, burnt chicken on their salad. When some of my friends were paying the waitress was quite rude in the way she spoke to them when something was said not directed at her. Overall not a great experience.

We were recently there with a number of friends and family. My wife and I had been there twice before and had mixed opinions about food and pricing, but liked the general concept and hoped food quality would catch up with the pricing. (I love a good burger, and yours are great) During our visit last week we had very slow service (approximately an hour or so to get meals after ordering). In general the comments from our group of 10 included , Nachos tasted off, Rissoto was starchy, beet and goat cheese salad was small portion with few beets or goats cheese, and food quality was generally mediocre and portions were small for premium prices. Definitely a disappointment overall.

Quite disappointed with our visit to the Grantham house tonight. Went in tonight with only one other table there and couldn’t see to get the waitresses attention for anything. Including drink refills which we went the whole meal without, salt & pepper (which you usually receive right away), and no “is everything good”. Second time getting the Nashville chicken and very disappointed this time as it was literal soggy mush. Not sure if they didn’t deeep fry it properly or the drowning of sauce did it. Sad to see what we thought was a local spot be so rough. $50 meal with 1 star food and service.

Carly is a fantastic waitress. I have been there twice. Had the fish special both times. Fish was perfectly cooked. Veggies were al dente. Friends has jerk chicken, wings and burgers. Everything was fantastic. Patio is private and nice.

Hey, just finished take out. Trying to support local, non franchise places. So my wife ordered the burger with back bacon and fries. I ordered the Nashville Hot Chicken, asked for fries instead of kettle chips. I got kettle chips and no fries. I heated up both the chicken and kettle chips up in my toaster oven, the chips came out great, very crispy, so not too disappointed. the chicken was all white meat, it was very well cooked, almost to the point of burnt but still pretty good. My wife said her burger was a bit over done as well, although likes her meat well done. She said again it was pretty good. So overall, a pretty good meal, I think it would be better if we ate at the restaurant and we will try to do that once Covid-19 settles done some more. We had their wings at wingfest last summer and thought they were the best of the bunch.

A little bit overpriced for what they are offering. For example, my Nashville hot fried chicken was good, but was $24 for two pieces of chicken, a very small bit of slaw and one large piece of broccoli. Tasty stuff and a cool setting, but if you are looking to spend wisely and get some bang for your buck, this isn't exactly the spot. Props to the large event space in the back, though, which looked like a great spot to have a party.

Visited last evening after being highly recommended. Hardly recognized the place from it's previous owner the "Celtic Club". Very nicely appointed rooms etc. Our server was very good "Mackenzie". I ordered the Philly cheese steak sandwich which was very good indeed. My friend ordered the Lemon & garlic Primavera which is advertised as seasonal veggies with lemon juice and garlic, freshly grated Parmesan cheese and cracked black pepper served on linguine. The bowl came with such a small portion that my friend had to order a plate of fries afterwards as she was still hungry. We spoke with Mark (manager or owner, not sure) who had stopped by to inquire how our meal was. We mentioned how small the portion was and basically tasteless (couldn't even smell garlic or cheese let alone taste them) and he stated that people who generally order the pasta primavera generally don't require a large portion and we also found out that the Parmesan and cracked black pepper is already in the dish not added at the table as we assumed it would be. I don't understand his comment about the portion, the price is $18.00 shouldn't that reflect something, that particular dish that my friend had could be made for under $5.00. He did offer to make another one but we were about ready to leave, he did give us a take home version, which one could smell the garlic and cheese. New restaurant and obviously will have some issues going forward but hopefully they will review this dish, unless it was just a one off and my friend was the unlucky person.

What a great location and addition to North End St Catharines. The staff are very friendly and accommodating. The food selection has something for everyone and any choice of meals or appetizers will not disappoint. They have a great patio, live bands, a games room for pool and darts.. the list goes on.
