Weekday lunch (11 AM to 3 PM), they have steak sandwiches priced at $11.99! We've been a few times now. Staff is courteous and friendly and the place is nice and clean. The food is priced fairly, serving sizes are generous, and everything I've had has been tasty. The best part is that the place is open late, which provides one with an option to eat that isn't fast food.

Great place! Friendly staff up front and in the back. Menu looks really good - a mix of Canadian and Irish pub fare including some curries. The hot curry wings were awesome! Specials every day of the week. Very nice draft selection, including AB crafts. Pool tables have been fixed up. Large patio. Owner-chef Pankaj is very personable and will go out of his way to make you feel welcomed. Definitely worth a visit and if I lived anywhere close I’d be there regularly. May have to move to St. Albert...

It's rare to find a place to dine out where you can get caught up in the flavours of food when you also enjoy cooking a lot yourself, especially when it's at a Pub. Lots of restaurants leave a "eh, I coulda done that at home" feeling or a lot of the food feels over-processed before it hits the kitchen... and holy smokes, Connor's does not disappoint. It elevates the game of pub fare. I've been there multiple times over the past month since finding it - if you're on Google looking for the "best pub St. Albert" look no further. They do the little things that most pubs don't: - Homemade burgers, from scratch, infused with some amazing seasoning and flavours. - Fish tacos: seems like they batter the fish in-house, and the combo of flavors wrapped in a tortilla will change your life if you're a fan of fish tacos. - Steak Bites - this was the first thing my Fiancee and I tried. She used to be a big fan of the steak bites at Mr. Mikes, but alas, they've gone down hill. Connor's steak bites give you way more AND a side of fries. Speaking of fries... - Fries - their cajun seasoning on the fries are amazing. Fries are so hit or miss at most restaurants, and if I'm going to treat myself to these delectable golden treats I don't want to feel guilty after for eating garbage/bland fries. - Alberta-Local Craft beer on tap! - Friendly servers that are knowledgeable of what the restaurant offers. Go. Just go. Enjoy the food - it's worth it. 11/10.

I was going to meet up with some people at Conners. When I entered I was standing at the entrance and was ignored. I found myself a table in an area that was not crowded. (Covid you know) I sat for a minute when the server in a rude.manner informed me I can not sit at this table as this section is closed. She pointed me to the area that was crowded already and told.me.i have to find a table over there. Once I was in the crowed zone I saw two of the people I was going to meet having dinner.U greeted them and gave them out group patches and collected $10 for them. The same.server once again approachedme and now,, iterally 2 feet in front of my face tells me I am not allowed to solicit. I told her that I was going to meet at Conners with members of my motorcycle group as I have patches for them. I am not soliciting anything but we are meeting here, have a drink, maybe some food and I give them their patches and they pay me for them. She did not care and was right in my face. Eventually others of my group arrived and we had drinks and food. Never got an apology for the server. Because I met at Conners we had 7 people at this place that otherwise would not have been there and spend our.money. Not going back to Conners with my motorcycle group, that's for sure. We find businesses that appreciate us spending money with them.

I had one of the best pub experiences in my life at this place. I forget the waitress's name but I asked her to surprise me with a beer. She was understandably nervous at first but as the night went on she kept bringing me different surprise beers every time as I tried to guess them. What a blast! Also there is foosball.

We had a really good experience at Connor's. We stopped by for their steak night special on Saturday and the service was great! The server was funny and knowledgeable, and he was great at making suggestions for appetizers and mains. The Guiness Stew was very good. Nice hot, stick to your ribs style and the in house soda bread was delicious. The steak came out a little over cooked but was a really good meal as well. I had the house ale which was crisp, a little dry but very good. Check em out, you won't be disappointed.

Went on a first date. Date went well but we won't be seeing one another again. Food was great. Caesar was made great. Beer was recommended by the staff and we went overloaded with noise from the TV or music. Time flew by. That's a good place to be when that happens.

It was awhile ago already, but my friends and I came in late on a Thursday night celebrating. The place was mostly empty, but I definitely appreciated the low key atmosphere. I'm pretty sure our server may have been the manager. He was SO nice and took great care of us. One of my friends knocked over her drink and he brought her another. We ended up taking advantage of some of the great food deals, including fish tacos. Great food!! I can't wait to to come by again.

I have yet to actually go inside the pub, but have ordered several times on Skip the Dishes. The food is amazing! Food, well let's just say stay away from the Clam Chowder unless you want a bout of food poison and you want to be sick all night long and do not get the 6 oz steak as you might spend all night looking for it as the piece of bread is bigger than the meat. If not for the waitress I would have actually given them no stars.

Two stars because I'm comparing it to an Irish pub just down the street. Three if it didn't have such good competition that close. The service was great, the food was ok, the decor and feel of the place detracted from the overall experience. The value was good. I just wish the place was a bit more polished and felt less like an appliqué of an Irish pub in a space that was vacated by a sports bar.

We were looking forward to going to this place tonight. We arrived and it wasn't overly busy, we sat in one of the booths and waited for over 10 minutes and were not even acknowledged, two waitresses even passed by our booth twice. In fact two other tables sat down after us and got served before us. Obviously we decided to leave. Too bad.

Excellent Wings! The breaded Chicken Wings are delicious. They were just recently added to the menu and are a nice upgrade to the Naked Wings. We also tried the Fish and Chips, the Tomato seafood lime soup, the Fish Tacos and found them all to be well prepared, well presented and delicious. Servings were generous and the service good. Next time we will try some of the Irish and Indian dishes. UPDATE: The breaded wings (which are more tender and flavorful) have not actually been added to the menu and are not offered as an option by the server, e.g. Naked or Breaded? The customer must specifically request them. Maybe wings are not a priority.

Was in today for lunch with my husband and another couple and had an excellent experience! Quick and delicious food and husband enjoyed a cold beer. Our server was very sweet and friendly. If you are wanting a comfortable,friendly service and to feel welcome I recommend visiting Adriana at lunch. And of course excellent lunch specials!

Located in the former Beer Hunter location, this new pub had its grand opening today August 23rd. They were offering a free order of wings with the purchase of a drink so hubby and I decided to check it out. The place was packed and bustling but we managed to find a table easily. Our server came to us quickly and we ordered 2 Connor's beers ($5 each), an order of BBQ wings and an order of hot curry wings. The flavor of the wings waa excellent. Usually other pubs make the BBQ sauce kind of bitter and I end up regretting getting that flavor, but this BBQ sauce was perfectly balanced. The hot curry wings had great depth of flavor and if the wings are any indication of the rest of the menu then we are all in for some tasty grub. My only quam would be the high prices. In terms of portion size, the wings themselves were small compared to other pubs I've been to. As most people in the pub were ordering wings, I cannot comment on portion size of other menu items. I do however, think they should consider offering more specials and deals as menu items are very steep. But all in all we enjoyed the wings and beer! I would only return if there were cheaper specials being offered.

Updated review! Posted a quick 2 star rating after unsatisfactory draft beer and a steak that wasn't worthy of being called a steak in my humble opinion on our first visit. They reached out and wanted to try again. We agreed and man we obviously went on an off day. Food was excellent tonight and everyone thoroughly enjoyed their meals, in fact it was really good! Thanks Liz, great communicator/manager and extremely tactful in how you handle yourself and your customers. Also I don't recall our servers name now, but she was also outstanding. Very well done Connor's, we'll be back! Thank you ????

Disappointed... Used skip to order from this restaurant and although the food wasn't bad, the portion was very small for the price I paid. I ordered the steak sandwich and the fish and chips. The fish and chips was great, my husband enjoyed it, so no complaints about that. My sandwich, which as I was later told by the restaurant staff was actually an opened face sandwich that came as a 6 oz steak, 3 onion rings and a slice of toast. I added poutine to my order and all this came to $21. I reckon that's quite pricey for just that, at least if the steak is small might as well just make it a proper steak sandwich and get a happy costumer. After politely explaining the staff my complaint, he resolved that a manager would call me. No call back yet...

Exceptional family birthday dinner at Connor's Irish Pub on August 18th!! I was the birthday girl and was given the privilege of preselecting dishes that were not on the regular menu - herb crusted halibut (Delicious) with and a special raspberry cheesecake dessert (Exquisite!) as well as a favourite wine. The presentation was lovely, portions were generous, service was friendly and my 5-star rating well deserved!

My husband and I drove pass there since it’s new we decided to give it a try. The starter and main course came to the table at the same time. We ordered wings and rings for starter but we got only wings, they did fixed that but I was charged wrong price for the starter. I didn’t get a spoon for the clam chowder had to eat with a folk waited for 15 mins to get the spoon. Waitress never came to check us if everything is ok, very disappointed!

Really nice pub. They have some draft beers that are standard names in beer you can find at most bars, but they also have some Alberta craft beers on tap which is definitely appealing. The burger and fries are very delicious. The pizza, although not really my style is well made for what it is. I also have tried their deep fried pickles and they also get my seal of approval! I can't wait to try some other menu items. My friend and I came in a couple days ago and they had a trivia activity going on which was really fun. Staff are very friendly and attentive. I recommend Connor's.

We went there for wings, green onion cakes and tried the spring rolls and everyone LOVED the spring rolls so much we ordered more for take out. We went for 1/2 price appetizers and it ended up being Trivia night, it was fun! I recommend you try it out, it's Tuesday nights.

Replaced the old Beer Hunter. I was pretty resiliant to try it out but im sure glad i did. I prefer Connor's 100%. I always go out of my way to have Jason as my bartender because he's absolutley fantastic. Always has a smile and jokes around with my boyfriend and I. Definetly my prefered place for weekend drinks. The food is also amazing. Its mostly irish food but they make a mean butter chicken. Keep up the great work. Look forward to seeing you again!
