As an explorer, here's my spin... this casino is following all the AHS protocols and you can see it. For the staff I have interacted with, they were friendly. The slot machines are constantly wiped and it was not too busy after 1830hrs. Had the wonton soup and it was a big portion, almost could not finish.

Out of the 4 or 5 casinos Edmonton has I'd rate this one a 3. If they had more promotional content and better shows, I'd give it more stars. Some staff is pretty good though. Which makes it a better experience fer sure.

Over the weekend, I read what seemed too good to be true. My local newspaper contained an ad for the Century Casino’s VEE Restaurant. It advertised a breakfast special for just $3.99! This included coffee or tea, scrambled eggs, hash browns, sausage and bacon. The special runs only on Wednesdays from 9-11 am. I had to check it out. As Wednesday came, I found myself giddy as a school girl. Upon entering the restaurant and finding a seat, I was quickly greeted by a young man named Drew who took my order immediately. I discovered that the offer was real. He asked how I wanted my eggs, which surprised me because the ad specified scrambled eggs, and I half expected this to be a pre-set plate or perhaps a buffet. I told him I’d like my eggs poached, and ordered a black coffee. I retained the menu for further study, and saw plenty on the menu to compel me to return, even on a non-special day. Drew returned with my coffee promptly. It was a good quality medium roast. In just a few short minutes later my food arrived. It was a real plate, a full order. I received two poached eggs, two sausages, two strips of bacon, and a mound of hash browns. I was pleased by the quantity. I was more impressed by the quality. The eggs were cooked to perfection. The maple sausages came caramelized just right, and the bacon was exactly the crispiness I prefer. The hash browns, thumbnail sized cubed potatoes, were nicely seasoned. There were other small things I noticed and enjoyed. The salt and pepper shakers at my table were freshly cleaned inside and out. The pepper was fresh, not the powdery old stuff that you sometimes see elsewhere. There was light music playing. The various servers worked congenially as a team. As I dined, I overheard another server explaining that the restaurant doesn't normally open until 9:30, but on Wednesdays for the special, they opened at 9:00. The restaurant began to fill, the special having enticed many others to try it out. Several people seemed as amazed as I, while others appeared to have been here before. I was careful to listen to the interactions between the servers and their customers. Everyone was pleasant, service was prompt throughout, and I was left feeling that our business was genuinely appreciated. As I finished, my server returned and asked if I wanted anything else. I requested the bill, which also came promptly and the young man brought a debit machine with him. When I looked at the bill I actually laughed a little, because the price was so unusual. It came to $4.19 with tax. I paid with a ten and the server offered to bring change. I told him no, thank you, and complimented his service. I was in and out within 35 minutes. Apparently if you order over one drink an hour. ...you get escorted out by security. ( Because they are only allowed to serve you one drink an hour) I really appreciate you enbareassing me tonight, and escorting off your property,(with heavy security ) after try to order a round of drinks for my clients (with in your one drink an hour limit ) you will never receive my business again . Perhaps you should not have open bars ???????

I definitely would not recommend going to this casino. Most of the dealers were very young and inexperienced. Playing roulette the ball hit on 16 yet the dealer put the marker down on 14. I had mentioned it was 16 and not 14 but she proceeded the take off all of the chips off of the board. the older gentleman then came to clarify the situation and asked how many chips i had on the board since the dealer started paying me out for only having one chip splitting 16/21. He then bargained how many i had on the board. Asking if i would settle with 3, then 5. i asked for them to check the camera. I had 6.TLDR: DON'T GO

Defiantly Went down hill in the last 4 years. Nice upgrades to Casino. People don’t win as much as they used to. Food went down hill we used to go every night then they started making stupid rules and charges. Like paying for onion especially on stuff that used to come with onion or extra ranch sauce. Nope we did the math we spent over 30,000.00 in one year at that casino not anymore we go maybe once a month. And all the good staff are no longer there minus a couple.

Sub par pay rates. Employees get low wages, poor benefits package and low hours. They exist only to profit from those addicted to gambling. Could make more at a burger or coffee business.

The security guard at the door was a complete douche, and denied me entry after I had ONE drink at home prior to coming, saying I was "way too drunk to come in". Maybe I was smiling to much or something but I am certain the guy just didn't like me. Don't think I will be returning ever again. Ill stick to grandvilla where they treat me good.

I think I've tried almost everything on the menu and I love the food! The staff are all friendly and very timely. I enjoy gambling here, having a beer (which the bar commonly as one item for under $5 at all times, for a while it was my favorite, Michelob, I think now it's bud light draft all with an active happy hour menu!) and then we have a bite and take out.

No being a gambler, we walked in for a ceazar not to gamble. Saw a guy at a machine being counted out hundred dollar bills by a woman server. Soooo... We each put 20 in two separate machines... Then realized why we don't gamble. Spanked . Cheers, good ceazar though.

Went for a late bite to eat and a little live entertainment. Place is clean, service is excellent in restaurant. The food is acceptable. They could use a couple extra servers in the games area as wait times can be longer. No smoking at the entrance could be enforced a bit more. Location is great and has excellent parking.

Great food and staff but just no such luck on the machines anymore in comparison to a couple years ago. They have gotten rid of a few of some fairly popular slots in favor of some new games that are even more expensive. Overall a decent establishment with a small chance of some entertainment value at the machines

If gambling is your thing this place has about the worse in odds of winning. They have had some big wins. But the average player is going to lose everytime. Have wasted about $30,000 and the staff have no personality compared to other establishments I have been too. You go in to waste money and be hassled by people who are looking for marijuana.

Awesome food, personal, prompt, and caring service, first class venue, and entertainment included, what a fantastic place, what a great time! We celebrated our 24th wedding anniversary at the Apex Casino in the Vee dining room in a private room that they call "The Vault", I'm not sure that words can do justice to the amazing time we had, you really need to experience it for yourself! There were eight of us for dinner, we were ushered into The Vault, where we found a large dining table formally set in black linen with red and white accents, correctly placed silverware and glassware (sadly a novelty these days), and centerpieces. Our meal options were chosen from a specially prepared personalized menu which had been printed for us and included a personal message and picture of us on it. The four course meal was absolutely delectable and included hot hors d'oeuvres followed by soup or salad, a selection of three from the menu, after which came your choice of entree, we had a choice of steak and prawns, salmon fillet in cream sauce, or chicken breast served with melted brie and cranberry wine sauce, and finally dessert, Red Velvet cheese cake, Chocolate Almond Torte, or deep dish apple pie a la monde. Despite a concerted effort, no one was able to finish all their food. I can't rave enough about the treatment received from the management and wait staff. It was like dining at a five star resort. Between the personal attention from Rameez, the dining room manager and the conscientious, prompt, and efficient service from our dedicated server, Roxanne who managed to always be available to refresh drinks, refill coffee, and attend to our wants without being perceived as hovering or intruding. In a word the service and the treatment we received was "Outstanding". The staff was so nice we almost felt like inviting them to sit and enjoy the dinner too! For our entertainment a Blackjack table was set up in the room, we were provided with "Play Money" and a professional dealer, from the casino's staff. Our play money was personalized with our name and a picture from our wedding day on it - such a nice touch. Our dealer, Terrance, was knowledgeable, entertaining, and amusing, He was especially patient and took the time to explain the nuances of the game to us non-gamblers. This event will go down in our family annals as possibly the best anniversary celebration ever, the bar has been raised! The casino and dining room staff made our experience very special and we certainly will be doing this again! We recommend the Apex Casino and Vee Dining Room, to anyone looking to host a smaller private dinner event, with awesome service, food, and some fun.

Very nice and clean and bright casino. There are slots and game tables. The menu features many different items from hamburgers, sandwiches, steak, stir-fry and everything in between. The food is excellent! There is also a great assortment of appies, salads and desserts. Very friendly staff!

I was showing a friend St. Albert. We ended our tour at the casino. Our cab driver recommend we visit the blackjack table. We had a ball. I thought everything was fine until we couldn't get a drink. We called our cab. That ended our tour.

Not a place to be on any weekend day or night. Your more likely to find a harmonica playing unicorn pointing to a gold vein than you are going to win a bonus on the machine your playing. Aim low. 1.5 times your money out...dont look for a big win...wont happen.

There were 2 big Russians that came up to us just as we came in the door. They stopped us from gambling our money because we had our own coffee in tim horton coffee cups. We always bring our own coffer when we gamble because I don't use milk or regular sugar. I use coconut milk and xyla sugar. No other casino has ever questioned our beverages. But these 2 russians couldn't handle it and made us leave. We were ready to lose 500.00 but that was okay, now we know to go to any other casino just not this one.;

We went to meet people at the restaurant and from the moment we walked in, it was not great. We asked the two guys on the front counter as to where the restaurant was as all you can see are machines. The one guy who at least acknowledged us pretty much just grunted at us and his directions were, "it's over there". He didn't point but turned his head to his left and then ignored us. So we headed that way and figured it out, it's a small casino. The food was bland and super greasy. I ordered the salmon trying to be healthy and it was actually probably the worst thing on the menu as it turned out to be deep fried. Then I think they put a little maple syrup on it and lots of almonds. It was lacking in flavour with the exception of the deep fryer oil. It came with green beans which were also very greasy, bland, and overcooked, as well as two slices of tomato which were actually very nice. My husband ordered the 9 oz. steak. Same blandness there. They didn't use any seasoning - but, it was cooked perfectly, it was tender and juicy, just very bland tasting. It came with a baked potato which was good. Our waitress was good, very friendly and polite. The lighting was dim, but very pleasant . While we were there, they had a band which made it difficult to have a conversation, but the band was good. There is a decent size dance floor if your looking for a night of dancing to covertoons and having a drink.

Very bad rules of BJ21. Dealer doesn't draw his second card until everyone finishes their hand. Even online BJ21 dealers drew two cards before players get third card.

Small little casino, only about 8 tables for table games and about 100 slot machines, most are older ones. No free coffee or self serve water. There is a restaurant and bar but I see very few people in it. The great part is the parking, an overly abundance of parking near all three entrances. Compared to most other area casinos, this one, BY A COUNTRY MILE, has the best availability of parking.

What a great small town casino. Table games and lots of slots. Did not eat here but the menu looks pretty good.

If you want a fun time to just get out, visit, play some games in a relaxing atmosphere this is the place to go but if you're thinking you're going to win lots well they call it gambling for a reason and this place seems to have less payouts than others, in my opinion anyways. Regardless always go to have fun not to win money.

I visited here with my Dad to celebrate our birthdays. From the moment we walked in I was impressed. The gentleman at the door offered us fresh coffee to refill our mugs and was genuinely pleasant to speak with. The casino was well run and easy to navigate. We had a great time playing our "allowance" and celebrating wins (no matter how small) with other patrons. This smaller environment was much more enjoyable than some of the bigger venues we have visited. The only thing I can suggest is to turn down the overhead music. It was VERY loud and hard to talk over.

Friendliest and most accommodating casino staff in the Edmonton area. I have been to most casinos in Alberta and the staff at Century St. Albert stand out from the crowd for their customer service. Everyone including the security, lottery desk clerks, cashiers and mangers have all been very accommodating and personable each time I have visited.

It didn't take more than 2 visits that we felt very much at home. My husband has been going to the casino for??? years but I was new to going & quite nervous but staff & customers were extremely helpful and friendly. I've only been going for a couple of years and I would always recommend the St. Albert location, for reasons I already mentioned but would add the extent they've gone to protect clients in regard to COVID. WELL DONE EVERYONE!!!! ????????

It's smaller than other Edmonton casinos, meaning fewer slot machines and tables. It's patronized mostly by the "locals" which makes it very difficult to play popular games during peak periods. The restaurant serves food, comparable to other venues. If you like the Century brand (there are three facilities in the area), I suggest visiting the northeast location (which has heated underground parking).

Friendly staff and atmosphere! A band on Friday night...Rockin 58's...so much fun, great entertainment. Dance floor was packed the whole night. We will definitely be back when Rockin 58's are in the Casino! Fun fun fun

I've always enjoyed this casino over west Edmonton malls starlight casino. I've brought family and some friends always fun may not always win but I'm okay with that as it's for a night out. The lights on the slots and the layout to me is always nice to look at.the entertainment is great,mind you I have not tried the food yet I look forward to trying it one day for sure. Again 5 stars love the casino I for sure recommend everyone to try you out at least once . ^ _ ^

I don't frequent casinos, at all, but my wife and I took my mother because she was in town and wanted to go. My mother has been to a number of these establishments and she was very impressed and pleased that the game selection was wide and up to date. Loved that the place was very clean, ladies washrooms included (can't vouch for the mens but I bet it was clean) and the meal we ate while there was very very good and great value. (we all ordered the prime rib special of the day). We were there for a little over 3 hours and it was thoroughly enjoyable. We'll be going back. Remember to gamble responsibly, folks.

Stopped by for lunch and decided to order something off the July special menu. Tried the pulled pork, think it was called 3 little pigs, and it was delicious. Had 3 different kinds of pork and had a sauce that balanced it all. My coworker had the salad from the July menu as well and enjoyed it. Plan on returning before the end of July just to try this burger again. Staff was very friendly and service was prompt.

Food was cold security is from a day care better luck playing penny bingo at a old folks home Hope it goes under could use the space for a youth centre or medical clinic for the elderly. It's a smaller casino but I enjoyed it. The lounge is great! Prime Rib Thursdays is amazing, perfectly cooked. Great friendly staff.

We’ve had many pleasant memorable experiences at the Century Casino St Albert. Everything from the awesome bands in the Vee lounge to all the delicious food that they have! We just most recently enjoyed their New Year’s event, had an awesome time!

I went in to the casino only because I had to drag my gambling addicted son out of there. Sad to see many seniors and adults of all ages, spending their time and money in a catatonic state. My mother also lost hundreds of thousands of dollars of my dead fathers pension. Fortunately, dementia and Alzheimer took over her life.
