I used to live in Revelstoke and eat at the Taco Club truck at least once a week. Best fast food in town without a doubt and the staff and owners are super cool. My favourite was the burritos, always so stacked and juicy I had to find somewhere to sit and eat otherwise I'd end up covered in it!

They make a damn fine burrito! The various interpretations of margaritas are excellent. The front door lets in an icy blast to freeze your ankles in the winter, but other than that, it's great!

We ordered the shrimp, fish and pork tacos as well as empanadas, and a side of coleslaw. Everything was pretty bland and needed salt. The fish and shrimp were over fried and rubbery. You could just tell from the dark colour from the fry. The coleslaw had very little flavour too. Can't call it a mayo slaw or vinegary slaw; very little dressing. Atleast their homemade carrot habanero hot sauce was tasty. Disappointing for the price.

I have never not been able to finish a meal in a restaurant until today. My wife ordered the quesadilla and it was awful. She took one bit then asked me to try it. I took one bite then pushed the plate to the side of the table. It was a block of melted cheese in a tortilla. The server then came by and asked if we wanted it wrapped up, which we then told her how we felt about the dish. The server didn't offer a substiuation and the dish was still left on the bill. They didn't even discount it. I have eaten quesadillas from all sorts of restaurants and have never been disappointed. You would expect a Mexican restaurant to be able to get this right. If I could have given the overall experience a zero I would have, which is unfortunate because the burrito I ordered was good.

Fish tacos were excellent, yam was surprisingly good, barbacoa was a bit dry. The empanada was disappointing. The house made non alcoholic drinks were very good also. Service was a bit slow. Prices were very reasonable!!! Would definitely return.

Had tacos and they were a good size and have good flavour. Pretty good for a smaller town like Revelstoke. My husband had the burrito and it was also a good size. Had the churros and they were very very good, the best thing we had here. Downside is that they charge separately for every little extra and side. I order refried bean "dip" as a side, which came with about 8 chips. When I asked for a few more chips I was told it would be 2 dollars, which I found a bit annoying.

I dropped by after a ski tour to have a taco. I picked one fish and one bean and yam taco. The fish was grilled not fried and the toppings were fresh. It is so nice to be able to get a healthy meal that tastes great. I would go back in a heartbeat.

Pleasantly surprised at how good the food was. We only had a small sampling of the fish tacos, tortilla soup, and kale salad—everything was bright and flavourful. The tortilla soup took me back to my recent trip to Mexico. The salad was well-dressed and balanced. The tacos were juicy and fresh. Definitely would come back the next time I pass through!

Had dinner here based on the rave reviews. Boy we were disappointed. We got there before the dinner rush thinking our food wouldn't take as long as some people mentioned on here. Our chicken nachos finally came out 30 min later after ordering. Our half order was a huge portion however the taste was just ok. 15 min later our main dishes came out. The coconut shrimp taco with a side beach salad was delicious! We cannot say the same for the adobe pork burrito. It was completely bland and tasteless just like how it was mentioned on the poor reviews. We were so hungry we ate half of it anyways. Unfortunately the service wasn't that great either. We ran out of water and the server didn't bother to refill. Granted we could of asked her but we were so disappointed by that time. In addition the older couple across from us was not happy with the burritos they ordered because the portion was too big for the both of them when the sever recommended to order two portions. The server took it away but stomped away from the table and rolled her eyes as she walked off. So we told our server the burrito was bland. She went to the kitchen, came back and they agreed it was a little bland. They discounted 50% off the price of the burrito. Fair enough, we ate half of it. Overall, we did not have a good experience here as we were hoping for based on the other positive reviews of The Taco Club.

Walked in here with high hopes after reading all the great reviews but unfortunately I can't say I had the same experience. At first glance everything seemed fine, we were seated right away and our server seemed friendly. We were then asked for drinks and we politely declined. For some reason after that the server returned twice more trying to push us to change our mind. We then ordered salsa and chips to eat while we wait because the waitress Informed us it would take a while for the food. When they arrived the chips were layered with salt and there was only a minimal amount of salsa (one shot glass worth). Obviously that was not enough so we asked to get some more, which ended up being an additional charge of two dollars (for that same shot glass size). The food itself, for lack of a better word, was confusing. I got the wet burrito, which on a side note cost an additional five dollars on top of the fourteen dollars for a regular burrito. In the burrito they had cabbage instead of lettuce which didn't sit that well with the other flavours. The wet burrito sauce was a bit off putting as it was burnt to the plate and the burrito. The sauce also had a resemblance to BBQ sauce, making it confusing to my mouth. After all that the server still pushed a couple times for us to order more things, e.i dessert. Overall it wasn't all bad, hence the two stars but the service was way too pushy and the food was expensive and confusing at best.

This place was just amazing. Stopped into Revelstoke during our travels and saw this taco joint really stick out, more so the name - Taco Club. So after walking around a bit, we finally decided to stop in and try it out, wow were we surprised at just how good the food is. We started off with a half order of the nachos. Drizzled with a lime cream sauce, these kept us munching and munching they were so good. We followed with the 6" soft flour tortila - the crispy shrimp tortila to be exact and the two 8" flour enchildas. Absolutely amazing and very close to authentic mexican food but with a modern day twist. Just delicious. Suffice to say, we were pleasantly surprised although we had a feeling by looking at the food on everyones table and just how busy the restaurant was that this was going to be a great experience. The service staff were great and very up-beat and positive, great vibes. Restaurant is modern with an old school feel to it. I liked the restaurant so much I bought one of their cool t-shirts.

I had a poor experience at this place as they lied about their ingredients and couldn't get their act together. The Taco Club menu says their tacos come on a 6' corn tortilla, but when we got our takeout order they were wheat. For those familiar with gluten allergies (meaning incredibly sick if wheat is consumed), this is no bueno. The web ordering system didn't ask us about allergies at any point, nor did the servers check. Anyway, we were quoted a 15 minute wait at the time of our order. When we showed up we were told it's not ready so went for a long lap around the block. When we returned, the food still hadn't been cooked, and different servers kept telling us different wait times. We stood there for another 30 mins (the restaurant wasn't even remotely close to full so this was ridiculous) until our food finally arrived. We didn't open the bag until we got home, only to find bland soggy wheat tacos, so we couldn't even eat them. Hot tip to Taco Club: if you forget an order or it's going to take a long while for some reason, just say so and don't misleading people. Also, please quit false advertising on your menu.

We're from Kelowna and came to this restaurant based on the great google reviews. We ordered a chicken tinga burrito bowl and tacos. My wife didn't like the tacos at all in the first bite and same with the bowl, so we told the server that we're not having our food. Instead of asking us why we didn't like the food, whether we would like another meal or offering us any kind of discount, they never even bothered to come again and just took our food away and charged us for the full meals ($70), when we not even had 25% of the whole meal. We own a restaurant in Kelowna and I would never expect any of my employees to treat the guests like this. Just a very disappointing experience.

Stopped here for food in way home and to be honest it is the absolute best Taco I’ve ever had. Hands down beats the places in Vancouver. When optional travel is allowed again I will be back. Price was a excellent value too.

Great Mexican food in Canada? Heck yes! Not only was the food and service great they were slammed and still managed to seat us within 5 minutes. And they did the same for others that followed us. You should definitely put this place near the top of your list when visiting Revy.

We loved stopping for mexican food in Revy, but the last two times have been disappointing. At the bottom of the check it states that it's customary to tip 15-20% for good service, yet no one seemed willing to provide such service. ???? Bummer

Who ever says this is the best taco they have ever had, needs to travel anywhere outside their bubble. The burrito was sub par , just because something is large in size doesn't equal taste or worth. One half was so over filled with sourcream that, that taste overwhelmed what taste there may have been. The other half had such little meat a two year old would have still been hungry but was delightfully crammed with coleslaw and habanero and jalapeno peppers. Maybe if they put as much effort in to the level of food and staff as they do trying to sell their merch, I may have enjoyed this little place. Moral of story, if you are over 40 and can make a killer margarita at home, have taste buds and can use simple math to figure out your bill, stay home!!

Driving back to Vancouver we stopped here reading the overall good reviews. We waited more than half an hour to be served. Coconut shrimp taco was very good, Adobe pork taco came out with the wrong ingredients: the waitress tried to apologize but we didn't want to wait another half an hour to get the correct one. The Adobe enchilada was huge, the greens not that tasty.

Pretty tough to get a table because they don’t take reservations, but they were spot on with the wait time. Seated in some comfortable booths, menu well organized. Food was pretty good, portion size was reasonable. Burrito was pretty big, we got the fried cod burrito. The turmeric mayo was a nice add. We also ordered shrimp tacos (crispy), cod tacos (crispy) and pork. All the tacos had a ton of filling, with delicious flavours. A good mix of savoury but still a refreshing kick. Would definitely go back again.

Was sat outside on the patio by hostess but a waitress never came to ask us our order. Watched as people who were sat after us were tended to and ordered their food. Food looked tasty. We tried staring down/making eye contact but it was too busy I guess. Waited over 15 minutes and then we left. Was very disappointed.

Good margaritas and a nice staff. I've been twice now and both times I walked away thinking it was decent, but too expensive even for Revy. Got the shrimp burrito - $17 no sides and had 3 shrimp absolutely stuffed with cabbage to make it full - and in it was just okay tasting. Not great not bad. If you're really craving tacos this is your go-to, but if you want bang for your buck it's not for you.

Best tacos ever. My husband and I are total foodies so we get really excited when we find food this good. We stopped here on our way back to Kelowna from Calgary. We ordered spicy beef enchiladas, a spicy beef taco, and a cod taco. They were all AMAZING!!!! My fingers are crossed that this gem will open another location closer to Kelowna so we can eat here ALL THE TIME. Highly recommend.

I am from México, so my reviews of Mexican places are from a Mexican view The staff is friendly and they are very bussy. The habanero house salsa is good is no very hot but it has a nice taste to habanero. I have just one quesadilla with spicy beef, the size is hood and have a lot of good cheese, the beef is good too is no bad at all. The quesadilla comes with a side of tomato sauce and sour cream. The price are ok and the portions are big, I was with my friend and he likes to eat in Mexican places but this time he was agree this the food here is just ok.

Had the fish burrito, chicken burrito, and chips&salsa. We enjoyed all of the food and the portions are great for the price. Chips and salsa came with 4 different salsas. The house made hot sauce is tasty and has lots of heat. The kids menu is pretty small, but the items on the regular menu would suit a child as well.

I want a place like this by my house. It's not your traditional Mexican food and definitely was one of the best I've had. The enchiladas were huge! I highly recommend those here. My husband loved the crispy yam tacos and the local IPA. Service was good, super friendly. If anyone is swinging by in Revelstoke, go to the taco club for some homey delicious food.

So delicious! They had amazing choices on their menus for tacos so you could customize what you wanted. I am a rarity as I do not like beans, or spicy food, but I was still able to put together the most delicious dinner without beans or having my mouth on fire. I got a quesadilla and paired it with a chicken tinga taco. The meat was seasoned enough to be incredibly flavorful, but not too spicy for me (although there were options to spice up your dish if you were so inclined). I had a ginger beer margarita which was delicious. The staff was friendly and attentive. Overall, would recommend for delicious and delectable tacos!

Nice fresh new look! Great find when visiting Revelstoke. We are not big eaters and are filled up enough by sharing one order of enchiladas - really appreciate that they can accommodate that without giving us issues. Love the new condiment holders and wonder if they will be available for purchase as well

The food did taste good, but the service was extremely slow. Was sad that the enchiladas was not on menu when we got there, despite it being on the website...it was the reason I chose to go there. Settled for burrito (beef) and churro. Beef was definitely not spicy as stated. Churro was fresh and crisp, though priced high for the two small churros at $5 and the dip being extra on top. Quesada, a chain near me tastes as good or better, with the same options, and at a fraction of the price. I do not usually travel through Revelstoke, but wouldn't choose to go again if the opportunity came.

After listening to locals state how great tasting it was,I thought let's give it a go. Sorry to say, meal was was bland and flavorless, wife's homemade El Paso store bought tacos had more flavour. (Sad but true) Kids menu....piss poor. Best thing was the craft beer, but Taco Club didn't make that, all in all overrated.Sorry....is what it what it is.

Hmm. Not a place I'd like to revisit. The food was mediocre, service slow and clumsy - we were a grouo of 10 persons and the server forgot our order twice and when she finally brought our food, it wasn't what we'd ordered. So we basically waited all that time for an apology. ????????????

Barely palatable and poor service. I had a burrito and it had the most bizzare and gross ingredients. Who puts Cole slaw vegetables in a burrito? Have these people ever eaten Mexican before? Refried beans tasted like mud. Overall totally tasteless and I could barely finish it. My friend had tacos which they put orange zest in and she hated it. Service was very curt and slow. Pretty expensive too. I'll be taking my $21 for a burrito elsewhere. If you like Mexican food never go here!

Accidentally happened across the Taco Club as we were driving through, and we had such an enjoyable meal. Service was authentically friendly and attentive. Food came out super quick (given it was Sunday lunch), and was delicious. They have traditional Oaxacan cheese which I really appreciated. Having been to Mexico last year I have to say the food was not too far off the real deal. Also loved the homemade hibiscus soda. Very reasonable prices. Perfect for a casual meal!

Excited to try this place after seeing all the good reviews, but sadly wasn’t able to try the food or the drinks due to the abysmal service. My dining companion and I were disregarded by multiple waitresses, and were only served after we asked the hostess if we could order. We weren’t even served drinks after ordering them, and multiple tables that arrived AFTER us had their orders taken and drinks served. I would give this place zero stars, but sadly Google reviews demands some type of rating.

Came here about 2 years ago and I literally thought these were the best tacos I've ever had-bar none. I would tell everyone who was passing through to go to the taco club. They had these coconut shrimp tacos with mango salsa and a chicken taco with peach salsa that was simply divine. Ate their today- was greeted by the same friendly atmosphere as before but with arguably less delish tacos. I found the tacos were overstuffed and lost consistent flavouring 4 tacos plus salsa and chips came to $37.50 with no drinks, before tip.

We stumbled upon this place while walking in downtown Revelstoke. It was crazy busy but the staff accommodated us within 30 minutes. The wait time was expected considering how busy it was. What we didn't expect was the amazing food, stellar service and an amazing attitude from the entire staff. We were served by Eric. I have seldom met a cooler person in my life. I praised his necklaces and he literally handed me three of them. I was completely awestruck. Then came the food. We were a party of 8 and every single person was blown away by the quality, taste and presentation of the food. If you come to Revelstoke DO NOT leave without visiting here. I wish I could give it more than 5 stars. We are coming back 100%.

Came here for dinner on a Sunday evening for dinner around 6PM, had to wait 15 minutes during which we walked around downtown a bit. We were seated outside which is what I wanted, and we shared a seared cod burrito bowl with the rice and beans replaced with fajitas and more coleslaw and tortilla on the side as well as an order of churros. The bowl was really small and not a lot of fish, although the tortilla was quite tasty as it was crispy on one side and chewy on the other. The churros were really good, crispy and dusted with sugar. Food was definitely on the pricier side given the portions, service was alright.

Atleast the food is good. Went for a early dinner. The waitress seemed annoyed at myself and my friend. We had not been told about specials but had to ask, we were not asked if we wanted any drinks. Went with my partner. We had nachos and dip, and burritos. One Shrimp and one Yam. The nachos and dip was a generous portion and decent. My shrimp was pretty bad tho, I couldn't finish it. For some unknown reason the main flavour is "orange mayo". ORANGE. This was such a weird flavour I couldn't get over it and it was all I could taste. Also this burrito was $17 and I had bite after bite not finding shrimp. I think I got about four in total. Personally I'd have given this place 2* for the price and this weird weird burrito of mine. But my girlfriend was fairly happy. My advice, avoid the two burritos with this orange mayo. We've had way better burritos for a lower price in many other places. I wouldn't go back. We also thought the server while professional and available was kind of cold. But everyone has a bad day so it was fine. But Orange mayo, I can't get over how much it didn't work.

Ultra delicious and well-made Mexican food and beverages. The yam and beans tacos or burrito are really good if you want to try something less traditional. Get them wet and dirty if you want a direct ticket to flavor town. The serving staff are personable and friendly. I always go to the Taco Club when work brings me to Revelstoke and it’s one of the reasons I’m always excited to go back.

This is one of those places I have to stop at every time I go through Revelstoke. The fish tacos and prawn burrito are amazing. Service can be slow if it's busy though. The tacos are massive and delicious! We stayed in town three days and visited The Taco Club at least once each day. Recently had one of our worst dining experiences here. We've been coming here for the past 4-5 years. While the quality and portion size has decreased and prices increased, we still returned, but no more. Our server was the worst we have ever experienced. We're generally a polite couple. I asked what was on tap when she first visited us for drinks. It was loud so I asked her politely to repeat one of the beers to which she replied 'I don't have time for this', then repeated. She was extremely curt and impatient with is for the remainder of the visit. One of the meals she brought out was wrong. We politely corrected her but she insisted it was correct. After we pushed back, she left, then came back and told us it was a mistake in the kitchen and that we could either take what she brought us (at an extra $10), or wait for the correct dish. We waited. Anyway, this was our last visit. I understand it's difficult times, but if she clearly couldn't handle or doesn't like her job. It completely ruined our dining experience.

We tried this place because of the positive reviews posted here, but frankly, we were disappointed and not impressed. If you are looking for a noisy, "hipster" vibe place with a diverse clientele ranging from babies to aged hippies and ball cap wearing dudes, but mediocre yet plentiful food, this place is for you. We ordered enchiladas and burritos, the house specialty. They came out tempid and not particularly flavourful. The service was distracted, rushed, and sporadic, but thankfully the young man with the greet and seat function was a jack-of-all-trades and helped out when the service was insufficient and unavailable. Admittedly, many people seem to be enjoying the venue and the chaotic atmosphere. One of us, who has been a lifetime enchilada afficianado, declared that the enchilada served was disappointing. There is good value to be had on a dollar / volume ratio measurement. The house hot sauce is too thin and too sharp for our taste lacking the nuances of other hot sauces such as the Middle Eastern harissa or sriracha sauces or even the standby Frank's Hot Sauce. But try it out, there seem to be many who are liking it more than we did.

The service was great, the food not so much. My burrito was stuffed with carrots, with no trace of any traditional Mexican veggies (tamatoes, lettuce, etc..). Not an ideal place to eat if your looking for a true Mexican cuisine. But if you have bad eyesight, I strongly suggest you dine here as carrots are rich in both nutrients and vitamin A.

"TL:DR if you can't eat cilantro, you probably should steer clear." Let me start by saying I want so badly to like this place. I adore Mexican food, and would love to be able to get it locally. Unfortunately I can't. I have tried to get food from here a couple of times. I'm one of those lucky 20% with a strong aversion to cilantro. It's not a dislike, it literally renders food inedible, causing everything to taste like soap. After requesting that nothing ordered contain cilantro, I was incredibly disappointed to find that all four of the salsas and the guacamole contained quite a large amount of chopped cilantro. I understand that sort of thing is probably prepared ahead of time en masse, but we were not even given a heads up as to the fact that it was a main ingredient in pretty much everything. So 50$ later I'm left with a full meal I am unable to eat, and both a literal and figurative bad taste in my mouth. That being said, however, if you enjoy cilantro or the taste of dish soap in your food this is probably a fine place to eat, but if this is not the case I would probably stay away.

They were really really diligent with cleaning and sanitizing, so this definitely helps with the price. We had the chips and salsa, which was delicious- even the yam and pumpkin seed dip! Hubby had pork enchilada and I had tacos- cod and shrimp. He really enjoyed the enchilada and I really liked the taco's- the cod taco was a little overwhelming- I think it was the lemon mayo? Otherwise was good. Hubby had the BlackBerry marg with he liked (it wasn't margy enough for me) and I had the red sangria which was fine but definitely wouldn't have again.

After seeing all the great reviews I figured this place would be the bomb, unfortunately it's not. Horrible wait times. I order the ancho pork burrito and some chips to snack on while we wait. 25min later out cones my burrito with my chips, which should have been brought out waaaaay before. Anyway I shrugged it off and was ready to dig into the burrito. Hands down the worst burrito I've ever had. There was very little meat added and I mean very little. The burrito mainly consisted of a whole lot of cabbage, some rice, too much sauce which made torritlla soggy and again almost no meat. My bill was almost $30. Not worth it all whatsoever.

We paid $17.50 for what was supposed to be a spicy beef burrito that ended up being some bland soppy crockpot pulled pork wrapped up with cold raw cabbage in a soaked cold wrap, severed on a big metal dish with literally nothing else. The other meal was 2 tacos priced at $7 a piece which I thought would mean that they would be pretty Hefty but what I was served was a tapas style appatizer on a cold tortilla and the kicker was if you bought 2 tacos you got a deal on a side, 1 dollar off! So in the end it was only 3 dollars for exactly 5 chips. This restaurant spends more time on mech than on food. It is overpriced and poorly prepared. I Can only guess that the reason this place is so popular is to be seen on the gram. All in all we paid over $40 for the worst dining experience of our lives, If this was a food truck then maybe I wouldnt have been so offended but this is a sit down restaurant, please just put more care into the one thing you are supposed to do. Please dont support this place, we deserve better.

On our holiday , we googled Mexican restaurant's and found this place . The Taco Club exceeded our expectations . The meal was super filling , spicy beef burrito with the added option " make it wet" is what I had , my wife had three tacos and and they were amazing .. great food love the place .

Disappointed in my experience trying this restaurant out. We were only there for around an hour and wanting to order more food and dessert, however the server was very inattentive. The entire time we felt very rushed with the server continuously asking if we’re ready for the bills while we were still eating and even brought the machine over while I was eating dessert. All the tacos did not come out hot and when the server was informed, they said they just let the kitchen know but did not offer anything else and really didn’t seem to care. Food portions are small for the price and not very filling.

I must say I went there because of the Google reviews. Not impressed. The Chicken burrito (Tinga) had few pieces of Chicken and mostly filled with rice and beans. It is consistent with the Enchilada (Chicken Tinga) my son got as well. For sure they can improve the Mexican flavor in the food offering as supposed to plain flavor. I felt we got cheated.

Stopped by on our way to Kelowna. Tacos are spot on. Got the grilled shrimp, fried cod and chicken. All were amazing. Their classic margarita was perfect. Bought a couple bottles of their homemade hot sauce, habanero with carrot... perfect. Definitely worth the visit.

I was passing through Revelstoke and didn't know much about the community. We took our dogs for a walk and stumbled upon the taco club. I'm so happy we did! The hostess came off a little annoyed, but I think it was more to do with the mask mandates and vaccine requirements etc. The waitress was very friendly and bubbly. The food was amazing! I ordered fish tacos (my fave) and some shrimp tacos too. So good. I would move to Revelstoke just for the tacos.

As a celiac,I loved it while I was there, but halfway through our meal, the waitress told me that the nacho chips were made in house, which meant they were fried in the deep fryer that is contaminated with gluten from other items. Picture an overflowing toasted burrito with gooey cheese, bursting with beans and rice, all hugging a generous serving of pulled pork -- now think of the exact opposite. Their "burrito" was 95% shredded lettuce, 1% bland sauce, and 4% pork. I was told that their cooking process involves "cooking the rice and beans with the meat, so it all blends", which apparently renders the beans and rice invisible. If I had spent $2 on a grocery store tortilla wrap, one tablespoon of pulled pork that I left out to turn to leather, and two handfuls of lettuce with a teaspoon of tzatziki mixed with Sriracha, then threw my other $10 away, I think the $12 would have been better spent than the purchase at this place. That being said you might be confused reading this since there are many positive reviews mixed in with one or two one-stars; I'm not sure what the other people were drinking to come up with the five star reviews, but I hope it wasn't the bland box-wine and simple syrup Sangria pitchers. Perhaps the positive reviews are for the food truck that uses the same name, but isn't parked anywhere near the kitchen that makes these burritos. R. W. Bear, whoever you are, I should have heeded your review.

Moved to interior BC and haven't found a good taco joint, until now. We had the pork enchiladas, seared cod taco, tortilla soup, side of chips and salsa, classic margarita and the mescale margarita. The enchilada was spiced perfectly, complex and sophisticated flavours. The fish taco was very fresh and well cooked. The flavour profile of the dishes are amazing. Even the fresh salsa served with the chips was given the attention and respect salsa deserves. The margaritas weren't too sweet and the balance between the lime mix and tequila was perfect. The tortilla soup was the only dish I would say was just OK. Great service and chill atmosphere. We will be going back before heading home!

Stopped in to place a small order to go as we were passing through town, and was quoted "about 20 minutes" by the bartender. After 40 minutes I had to ask her what the hold up was, and after disappearing in the back for another 5 minutes, she comes out with our food and a free bag of cold and stale corn chips saying, "I threw in a free bag of chips since it took so long, sorry." Not even any salsa to go with them.....when we got to the car a few minutes later, we discovered our food to be lukewarm at best....too bad, as the quality seemed to be pretty high. Cute town, but the Taco Club was a big disappointment.

I had dinner here with my family the evening of December 20th while on a ski trip at Revy. I had previously dined here several years ago on a prior ski vacation. This was a typical busy night and the service was friendly and quite exceptional from what I've grown accustomed to at other restaurants since the pandemic began. I noticed the professionalism and effort put in by the staff and management to make sure they were following covid precautions / mandates (checking proof of vaccines, the smartly redesigned entrance / exit, etc.). I also observed excellent teamwork among the busy staff as they took care of us and other diners. I recognize that it has been challenging times for staff and operations in the hospitality industry to be firing on all cylinders while trying to keep both staff and guests as protected as possible during the pandemic while also providing a great dining experience, and I just wanted to let you know you are all doing a great job here. The food was great as well. While we appreciated different aspects at each of the five restaurants we visited while in Revelstoke during his trip, we felt the Taco Club stood out as the best of the group. Nice work.

I drive up to kelowna every summer and this trip i stoped and stayed they night in Revelstoke and stayed to have lunch in town the next day. Walking by I loved the decor inside and the patio of the resturant was nice. They were out of beef at the time so my friend and I order the pork burrito and the chicken enchiladas also a appie of a brazillian fried bread street food and there house made soda and it was Delicious! The sause and the seasons where on point and the pear in the burrito was exciting. I have found my new favorite Mexican spot diffently coming back !! ????

Stopped at Revelstoke for lunch on our way back from Banff. We decided to get Mexican food and I’m so glad we found this place. Best burrito I have ever had! The burrito was large and delicious. It had just the right portion of each ingredient and even though it was large I finished every bite. I’m not a big fan of cilantro (read: I hate it) and I asked our server, who was very informative and friendly, if I could get it without cilantro. She said of course and even checked all ingredients to make sure there was no cilantro, how nice! She told me the only ingredient that was made with cilantro (she called it coriander) was the corn salsa but said it was light, so I just asked to have light corn salsa. When I are the burrito I hardly noticed the cilantro at all and the rest of it was so delicious I didn’t mind. I would highly recommend this place and I’ll definitely be back. Hopefully you have the chance to get our server, she was great and I wish I remembered her name. I was telling her how much I enjoyed the food and she said that’s why she started working there, since she was eating there so much lol. ????

First of all they were open. Crazy as these times are I'm glad they were. On a day trip from Kamloops to Calgary, we were hungry on the way home. After 14 hours on the road we did not want fast food. My wife and I ordered one each of their tacos. The sweet potato taco had a crisp batter and blew my wife's mind. I had a spicy beef taco that had the perfect amount of spice. We had a hard time differentiating between the pork and chicken, both were great. I had a fish taco, crispy, very delicious. Each taco had a slaw or pickled onions or what not, that made them great. We can't wait to go back.

We really enjoyed our visit to The Taco Club. They were accommodating to my boyfriend's needs when he requested a special kind of (basic) taco. Overall the flavours were tasty. I got the chicken and cod taco. Lots of coleslaw with the right amount of meat, needs a bit more sauce though. I added their hot sauce which added that extra flavor I was looking for. The churros however were meh, I've had better. Would recommend to try though!!

Okay, this is a real customer. Honestly this restaurant is really bad, great service but the food was disgusting, or to better describe it it’s Inedible. To perfectly honest, it’ is by far the worst restaurant I’ve eaten from, I almost certain I have food poisoning. Anyways, as mentioned before it was amazing service! But the prices were very high for the quality of food, it’s sad because I truly think the restaurant has potential.

Would be 5 stars but I felt the food was a little over priced, for the price I feel maybe a little rice a beans on the side would have made me feel a bit more bang for my buck. Although the service was prompt, we felt our server was just going through motions. Maybe it's COVID regulations, but we didn't feel a sense of warmth or welcoming. That said, would still return in a heartbeat for that crsipy avocado burrito!

Best tacos and margaritas in revelstoke. Highly recommend you stop in. Lime margarita on the rocks was too notch. I've also been recommended to try their sangria, people say it's great. Tacos are a little on the pricey side (6-7$/taco) when compared with places out of town..but it's revelstoke. Took off a star because they make you pay extra for other hot sauces. Will return.

The food was really good. The service was subpar. The server asked us what we were doing for the rest of the day as we were given the bill and she while talking to my girlfriend I passed her cash and said no change and she just walked away while my girlfriend was in mid conversation. No exit or thanks just zoom gone. I go to a restaurant 60% for the food 40% for the service. That’s why I rated this a 3. The food was really good.

This is the best taco place I have ever been to! Their chicken tinga tacos and the wild cod tacos are life-changing, and they have a fantastic selection of tequila and margaritas. If you are near Revelstoke for any reason, make the time to try it out. You wont be disappointed!

Sad I wasted $50 on dry chicken strings wrapped in tortillas and passed off as enchiladas, soggy/runny bean, cheese and yam burritos and a chicken burrito served with sour cream that we explicitly asked be left out. They were out of guacamole, and lime and mango sodas. From small town AB, live in Van recently and were passing through. They would go out of business on the coast (or even our small town) serving the mess we received today. So disappointed, I hope they read this.

Went there with my family, waited so long to get in than it took forever to get the food, while we made it clear we need the kids meals right away, ordered came spicy for the kids, terrible service and not welcoming staffs, maybe cause they were busy and they wouldn’t care. Visiting revelstoke and looking for a quick place to eat. All the outdoor seating was filled so looked like a good place to eat. The menu had lots of different options (fish, pork, beef, chicken). The building was clean and Mexican themed. Some of the seats were in need of repair. The food: Very long wait for the food. (ordered 12:35 came at 1:10). My request for salsa on the side was not met. (waiter confirm my request before going back). Food was average. The burrito was of decent size, but little meat.. The enchilada was much more appealing, and large. I wouldn't recommend this location unless you are willing to wait 40 minutes for an average Mexican food experience. On a positive note they had jarritos and house hibiscus /tamarind sodas.

Get the margaritas!!! I had the spicy, pineapple and cilantro marg and my bf had the Southside marg, both were so good. Then we ordered yam, spicy beef, pork and shrimp tacos. The spicy beef wasn't that spicy but all of them were so good. Bonus, get two tacos and all sides are 2 bucks thereafter. Yum!

I never ever leave a bad review for somewhere but something has to be said. To sit at a table for 20 minutes, with 4 staff on, and not even get asked what drink you would like, something is wrong. I heard amazing things about this place and wanted to give it a shot, but bussing multiple tables before even asking customers what drink they would like makes no sense. Had to get up and leave literally 5 minutes ago, really wish we didn’t have to.

Glad we decided to take a quick look around town during our overnight stop-over in town. Did not expect to find such a great place. Ginger beer Margarita was awesome, burrito the size of your head! Taco prices were a bit steep and I wasn't blown away but you see the love put into the recipes. I'd try an enchilada next time.

Went for a day trip to Revelstoke with some friends, saw this restaurant had good reviews so we thought we’d try it out! The food was absolutely delicious, however, our server was next level rude/unprofessional. The server seemed she was in a bad mood at first, very short but nothing out of the ordinary. My girlfriend ordered a corona and found it tasted “off”...When we looked at the expiry it was 5 months expired. We brought it up to the server, she brushed it off like it was no big deal, and said how it doesn’t matter it’s expired because it’s corona, and her and her coworkers think it tastes like “skunk” .... She didn’t even apologize..... I’m sure Foodsafe would think that matters that they serve expired products. Not going back to this place after this experience and going to make sure all my friends and family know. It’s a shame because the food was so good, but service like this is absolutely unnaceptable and borderline illegal.

Not joining this club....THE RESPONSE... Well allow me to retort to anonymous owner's critique of my critique as posted on another well known review website. I am a reviewer, not a writer nor wishing to be, nor am I wishing to be an internet celebrity (your words). I choose to express a truthful summary of my experience. I have no agenda other than to call it how I experience it, save your conspiracy theories for your own delusions. I also choose to use metaphor for description not for my own amusement. Obviously you read with great interest....so thanks for taking the time to reply! I never stated being slow on Sunday was good or bad, you concluded it inferred bad, so as you being the owner I guess it's bad. As for the lighting, my concern was if you don't care enough to check the lights before you open then maybe I should have concerns about the care in food preparation. Same goes for the decor (excluding the mural). You speak of kitsch and exploitation when assuming my decor preferences, but can't see it in your own restaurant...just sad....lose the paper decorations and sombreros and put the same passion into all menu items consistently like the passion in your reply to me and Taco Club will be fine. Like I said, I call it like I see, taste and experience it. The restaurant was half well lit, half dark. As for the bathroom, two fixtures one bulb by choice you say. In case you are unaware bulbs do come in different intensities and why not replace fixtures you admit are not suitable? You ask me to investigate for accuracy or be helpful to point out minor inconveniences but why are you asking me to do your job? It's unfortunate the mural wasn't more of a centre piece or more walls decorated with this art but I wasn't at an art gallery so I reserved going on about the mural. Your a restaurant right? Did I "lose it"? Hardly, I was able to look past some signs and stuck it out open minded anticipating great food. If the food is great I can overlook my own biases. Back to the food...and again only tried the appetizers so maybe you excel at entrées. Thanks for clarifying that you make your chips in-house in the morning. Had I known this I would rate them terrible instead of poor. I did not like them at all. This is MY opinion and maybe you need to be more secure in your 180 positive reviews and not not so upset by mine. I however will relay my experience as experienced. Also, can the chips not be made fresh when ordered? Yes I ASSUMED the salsas were from jars because in my opinion they lacked freshness but now that you have confirmed you make it in-house I'm even more shocked that somehow you've managed to make fresh ingredients not taste ...well fresh. The corn fiasco... As if I hadn't heard enough excuses in your reply already...can't afford or can't get fresh ingredients? yet you continue to serve it? I'm embarrassed for you. Relish - look it up, if I were to call salsa ketchup it doesn’t make it ketchup. I think the saddest thing of all is that if you were to read back over your reply it likely does more to turn potential customers away than actually show any ability to demonstrate grace and accountability. I was even willing to chalk up my experience as an isolated incident and try Taco Club again but the only thing worse than the chips we tried is your true colors. Focus on your positive reviews but don't expect me to be satisfied with excuses to change my personal lived experience. Kudos on moving from a food truck to a restaurant as this is a big step and not an easy one and I always appreciate any service that takes the time to reply to reviews, wishing you future success and more positive reviews.

Stopped in Revelstoke for the night, and while walking around we came across this amazing restaurant! I tried the enchiladas with the West Coast Cod filling, and it was absolutely delicious. Would highly recommend this gem to anyone who is passing through as the go-to restaurant. Service was really friendly, great atmosphere and best of all, great selection of tasty food that would appease everyone.

I do believe I just had the BEST burrito I've ever tasted!! The Taco Club has a simple, but unique menu with a little something for everyone. The Chicken Tinga was was such a flavourful, delicious dish, perfectly balanced and not greasy or over salty like most taco places. The service was friendly and quick, and the atmosphere was chill. The open space and decor makes for a relaxing time without feeling like a cafeteria. They also have a kids menu with phenomenal, nutritional choices (read: nothing is just sugar is beige carbs). Our 3 year old liked the food! I already can't wait to go back next time I'm in town!!

I wish I could give a higher rating...Especially since we heard a lot of good things about this place. The overall experience was unfortunately poor. I'm not sure if the cooks were short staffed but food took a very long time to come out. We do not usually complain but when the food came out different from what we ordered .. Its hard not to. The waitress at the end, when she had more time, was very social and easy going. She apologized on behalf of the cooks but the cookies did not replace the incorrect foods. The cooking staff explained they gave our food to another table by accident and would not be able to remake our order. The plus side of things... Portion sizes are great.

This was by far the worst example of Mexican food I have ever experienced unless you like a TON of coleslaw in your taco, burrito or enchilada. We had all 3 of these and there was barely any meat, bean or rice and NO flavour to speak of.
