Good food! The reason I gave it 4 stars is because we were at the Brown Social House last week and went there to watch the Roughriders game. Sadly, we were told the sound from the game could not be projected in the bar area. We watched the game but couldn't hear it.

Open room concept I'm never a fan. It was super loud inside between parton noise & music. It was difficult to hear the person sitting next to let alone any other person at our table of 6. You're basically sitting on top of each other. The table next to us might as well been connected to our table. It was very congested seating in a very small space and was not an overly enjoyable experience. Either a bigger building, or a few less tables, would provide that feeling of intimacy & privacy that all patrons would benefit from while being there during any given time of the hours they operate. Staff seemed friendly only talked with our waitress & the door greeter. Food was okay, lots of choices on the menu.

Food is great...much better than a typical pub. Service is also excellent. This restaurant is always loud. Not a good place for a quiet visit or conversation, but it has a fun vibe that keeps us coming back. It's usually busy, and there is often a wait, particularly at peak times. This is a great place for drinks and food after work with friends or a small gathering of friends looking for fun. There is an outdoor lounge area with sofas and coffee tables if you need a quiet space. The outdoor space is pleasant for a beverage and appetizers.

The service here is really good. The Dragon Bowl used to be one of the best options in the city but they’ve since changed it and it’s awful. Tried it a couple times since it’s been changed and each time it was worse than before. Sad to see such a solid dish like this change so much for the worse.

I always enjoy going to Browns Rochdale. The service is great and never disappoints. Brunch is especially my favourite on Saturdays and Sundays. I recommend the fried egg sandwich or Belgium waffle!

Something happened, our favorite dagon bowl sucked! Increase in price, smaller portion and rice was crunchy and lack of their famed yogurt sauce, so did not taste well at all.. Not returning! Would give a negative star rating if I could.

Variety for that could have been better (it mystified us why the Pad Thai I ordered couldn't have been gluten free) but everything was tasty and arrived in good time.

my friend and I came into browns yesterday for the rider game, it was a ghost town. However our server was so bubbly and fun, you could tell she takes pride in the business and loves working there! she was very knowledgable about the drinks and after encouraging us to try all of the happy hour drinks, we were having a marvellous time. that was until her shift was over and we were met by the next server who wasn't quite like the first:( overall; great food, great drinks, and great company!

It was aweful. I couldn't have a conversation without yelling at the person across from me. Then I was scolded for taking my drink with me into the bathroom. Which in this day and age for myself personally I was taught never leave your drink unattended. As I was on a blind date, I wasn't going to trust this person I have known in person less than an hour. I just don't feel like that's a safe decision. So I paid for my 3 beer and my dates rum and coke and I left the gift card I used to pay which still had $35 with my server as I will never go back there. Not a great first impression at all. Super unimpressed!

I was happy with that branch and used to order from them. However, I made an order through SkipTheDishes from them. Asked to go easy on the salt (I know that sometimes it’s too salty and that’s coming from a person who Love salt) got a sea of salt on top of my food (you could actually see it) the sandwich was terrible to the level the all food was tossed to the garbage! I called the store the day after, talked to a manager that was very kind, and offered to send me a gift card on the amount of the order, it took some time but I finally got it. Thank you for caring and taking responsibility.

Ordered a French dip and they forgot to send the "dip" part of the French "dip", however I returned for a lunch to try again, and the service was fantastic and the French dip was back to its glory, also thank you to the owners for reaching out to make it right, but your service has adequately made up for a one off occurrence. Rating back up to 5 stars.

We were there on Saturday before the supper rush., ordered our food and waited 45 minutes for it to come out. Once it did, 3/4 meals came out cold. 1 of them was the pasta, the other two the butter chicken. The butter chicken sauce came in cast iron dish which one would think would be so hot you could not touch it, however it was cold to touch. We sent our meals back, new ones were made, and they still were not hot. We felt bad sending them back a second time so we just ate them how they were, plus we didn't have time to wait for them to be re made. Our waitress was nice, however she walked by our table empty handed many times and we had empty glasses and bottles on edge of table that could have been taken away as she walked by. The plexiglass dividers between tables had food, grease stains and fingerprints on them, which makes me think they are not sanitized in between sittings. We used to go to Brown's all the time and have never been disappointed, not seeing any reason to go back.......

Guy at the table ordered a pizza and I tried a slice and it was incredible. Forget what it was called but it had shrimp and feta. Beer was cold and good. A bit noisy but that's what you can expect on a Friday night. I didn't get to sit there, but they had some really cool looking seats with fire pits outside. Definitely worth checking out.

Well I would be honest after going through all the reviews. I thought to give it a try and when me and my wife went there and had their food. It was just bad. Even though their service wasn’t that bad until me and my wife saw how their staff treat to courier guys who comes. And that’s when I realise it was bad idea to come and have food from there. I hope someday their management gets MATURITY and start respecting whoever comes to their business before judging person with their colour !!! As I am not from here and what we say in TASSIE ‘ HAVE A GOOD ONE ‘

Great food, and friendly servers. Known for their dragon bowl by most. The spicy crispy chicken sandwich is amazing! Gravy is thicker and delicious - highly recommend! Parking can be tight, but they have lots of parking out back. On busy nights it can be loud, but overall great atmosphere.

Browns is a more upscale yet casual dining restaurant. The food is always unique and they have feature meals they run to give the menu a bit more variety as well. I regularly go with one lady who is so crazy for their Cowboy Salad that if Browns stopped making it she’d pack up her stuff and leave this planet. There was a brief scare that this had actually occurred about a month and a half ago, (turned out it was the Cowgirl Salad) and I almost needed to have some type of crisis phone number for an intervention - so to Browns management: if you decide to get rid of the Cowboy Salad....be prepared to have the military intervene. I recently had the spicy chicken sandwich - it was amazing. Oh, and If you’re a wine drinker. 24 bucks and you’ve got yourself a bottle of their social Red that you can cork and take home. The only downside is it seems the total open design of these restaurants channels noise - sometimes it’s very loud in there.

It's a good place to go and a nice menu. Service can be pretty slow though so if you only get an hour for lunch, you might want to consider some place else. Took the office out once and it took 45 minutes to get our food, and by then we had to ask for our bills and get the staff to pack our food up to go instead of getting to enjoy it. That resulted in someone's order getting completely messed up.

I had a wonderful experience a couple of weeks ago. I was craving the Thai soup and dare I say it.....the desert in a jar? It was nice that the waitress remembered me even with my mask on. It's always nice to feel special. The soup is delicious and I'd have a hard time trying to reproduce it much as I'd like to. The desert is pretty basic but still mouth watering.

I love the Brown's on Rochdale in Regina. Went to the other one in East Regina and was totally disappointed. The portion size was so much less. The chicken breast was so tiny. I have never seen a chicken breast that small. The seasonings weren't as good. Kind of light and tasteless. Therefore I will no longer go to that location. Stick to Rochdale unless it's changed. However the server she was very good.

Staff behaviour is so rude to the couriers who came up to pick food and waiting time is always longer than expected. Lot of attitude and ego shift manager has if someone ask her about the food showing there worst customer behaviour to the couriers. As they don't care and make complaints about couriers rather than apologize for waiting. If they can't handle so much rush then stop taking orders.

Had an excellent experience. They gave us a space at the bar as soon as one opened up then happily asked us if we'd prefer a table once that opened up. Breanna V offered excellent service and the food was amazing. I had the Butcher Block Burger and it hit all of the spots I needed. Their old fashion was a great take on a classic and I will be coming back.

Very mediocre pasta however the staff and service was very kind and welcoming. Food took quite awhile to get especially considering we dinned at an off peak hour. The dynamite sushi I had was well plated and was very fresh . I recommend this for social drinks and some classic pub food. The seating setup is close and could be designed a little better to accommodate larger than 4 groups and the high and low tables spread randomly throughout could have been reconfigured to maximize space a little better .. overall not a bad experience but the reason for 4 and not 3 stars is only due to the staff.

Edit: the restaurant asked to compensate us for the bad experience. They mailed us a gift card at the amount of the order. It took a while, but they proved they care about the customer’s experience. Didn't follow instructions and provided terrible food. I think the pictures say it all. We asked to go easy on the salt, and we got crazy amounts of salt. Also, the food was as far from fresh as possible. Closer to expired. It also tasted this way.

Was very impressed that they were very accommodating to our gluten allergy. They are a family restaraunt until 7or 8pm? And they had coloring books and treated my kids (age 6&8) like gold! My kids asked if we can come back again! That's a good sign, especially when we are talking about gluten free food.

The service and atmosphere was great. My husband's burger was very good. Unfortunately the quesadilla was the most tasteless, barely filled, oily tasting one that I've ever had. If the over chunky guacamole and the salsa had flavour that would have at least helped, but they didn't either. I don't usually write bad reviews but l just felt l needed to over this meal.
