I was not impressed with the service I received here. Came to watch a movie for my birthday and being early March it was somewhat cold outside (about -14°C). After purchasing our tickets at about 8:15pm, we assumed we would be able to go inside, get some popcorn, get a seat and watch some pre-film ads etc. before the movie started at 8:45pm, this was not the case. The lady at the box office told us that we were not aloud into the theatre at all (this Includes the entrance that has the concession) until 8:30pm. At first I assumed it was because there was cleaning to be done in the theatre, but upon being allowed in I was met with a filthy row of seats, half eaten candy and popcorn on the floor, and a spilled drink. Furthermore, it is an old building, carpets definitely need updating, and the entrance walls are a gross off yellow color. In conclusion I would most certainly not recommend this theatre to anyone. Spend the little extra money to go watch it in Prince George.

Historic theatre turned modern meaning split in half. Used to be a magical place. Balcony seats used to have love seats. Balcony is closed now, both sides. Saw star wars here in 1977 from the balcony. Was split in half in the late 80's. What remains the same and gets 4 stars is the popcorn and generations of fantastic staff. Quesnel had a drive inn theatre too, run by the caribs brother. The Bourque brothers brought years of evening entrainment to the cariboo region. The memories of these theatres earn 5 gold stars. Ill change my rating back to 5 when it's returned to original. Cheers all.

Carib theater downtown is an excellent way to spend the evening. My fiancee and I caught Deadpool 2 and thoroughly enjoyed it! The theater is clean, accessible, and comfy! The staff are very friendly. I'd definitely recommend it.

It's an older building and during the winter months it's a little on the chilly side, I often leave my jacket on while watching movies here. The theater gets most of the blockbusters, the movies are clear and the sound is good. It's also important to mention there is one large screen and one smaller screen. I prefer to watch movies only on the large screen.

Great movie. Comfortable seats. It is a small theater so once in a while you can hear sounds from the movie playing on the second screen. However it is a great experience over all.

This is a 2 screen theatre. It is small but good for Quesnel. The experience id's always great and the staff are very friendly. Limited snack options and only 2 washrooms. The upstairs seating is rarely or never open for use though which is kind of a bummer.

2 screens. Small selection of snacks. It's a very small theatre but all in all still a good experience when playing a movie you want to see.

Great local theater! Prices are decent, seats are pretty comfortable and staff has always been quite friendly (especially the one gentleman who seems to be more in charge.) My only complaint or thing I think they could improve on would be for them to start accepting credit cards. I personally hardly ever carry cash and would love to be able to use my cards. Oh and more movies at once would be nice, but I can't really expect that for a town the size of Quesnel. But those are minor things, all in all it's a pretty great theater for a town like Quesnel.

This venue is great for matinée movies with the entire family. The staff are great and always have a smile. Prices are reasonable but remember your cash because no debit or credit.

For the last 2 weeks..I have been wanting popcorn. I have attempted a few times but time was not on my side. .yay..and behold. .I made it before shut down. So the lovely lady made up some single bags for me to hand out to fellow community members..and I got my large buttered popcorn for me. Covid Shovid. .Give hugs and give plenty of them.

Be careful here. There is a big screen and a small screen. The big screen is OK(ish) but the small screen is awful. It's like paying to watch TV.

Good theater for an interior BC theater! Popcorn and drinks are reasonably priced. Candy is not. Theater is nice and clean, sound is good, and projection had no noticeable flaws to me!
