Went for the pre-ordered 40oz Steak night. Busy place, UFC was on, great fun til the steaks came. Both our steaks were nothing but fat and grizzle. The steak knives they gave us were dull so we asked the waitress for better knives and she said the butter knive she had given us were our best bet(yes they were better) but nothing could cut through all the grizzle We brought this to our waitress attention and she smiled and said, sorry, that's what the main company sent us for you. Disappointing to say the least. After a valiant try, we pushed our plates aside. Waitress took them away with no comments. We paid our drink bills and left.

Really good food, tried the steak sandwich and it was cooked perfect medium-rare. Got a bunch of appetizers and wings too and everything was great. Went during a "trivia night" and it was really entertaining, some of the trivia questions were real head-scratchers. But was balanced out with easier ones. Definitely strongly recommend for food and entertainment. Not sure about their drink menu however, I'll be honest.

Went with a large group. Told no reservations, yet several groups had reservations. Service was extremely slow, they forgot orders, when food was to be delivered it was cold and some were told the kitchen ran out of their selection. This resulted in food coming at different times for everyone. some people didn't receive all of the meal, for example didn't get their garlic bread that was supposed to come with the meal. I would never go back.

My work colleague and I had to get up and leave 15minutes after we walked in as she was introducing me to the location. No one came to take our order and servers were seen in a corner having a conversation. Probably because we were dressed casually. It's my fault for selecting this location among the other options presented by Google Maps in the first place.

The highlight of this place is its building top balcony especially in the summer. The hot sun is counter acted with a great cooling but not overwhelming mist coming from the rafters. (Just don't get your hair done right before sitting up there. )The music is an eclectic but very current selection. The combination of all these things plus the daily deals on drinks make it easy to kill a few hours there with friends. As to the food, their menu is extremely expansive with a lot of interesting Canadian-esque selections. Their margaritas are a little on the salty side and not that strong but the food itself is well-plated and creative. First impression of my order is that the place is more about their drinks than their food but I do have to recommend their cactus cut fries as a side every time. Overall I like this place and am looking forward to another evening there in the near future.

The magic of the brewhouse is that you get the same interior and menu no matter where you go. The service here was good we were looked after and the food came quick and was tasty. Fun interior with lots of TVs and sports decorations.

I've been here a number of times and each time I left disappointed with the food. I thought I'd give it another chance last night. I had the "Same Team" burger with poutine. The burger was ok, but I was so disappointed with the poutine. For a place that has "Canadian" on their name, they make awful poutine. Instead of cheese curds they used shredded mozzarella cheese. The gravy did not taste good either. I've had better poutine from McDonald's. The service is the redeeming quality though. Fast, efficient and friendly service. I'd probably go back for drinks, but I won't waste my money on their food again.

The Brewhouse has alot of great features: an amazing rooftop patio in the summer, yummy drinks, cool events hosted, a cool vibe. At times the entrees are hit and miss. The menu and "vibe" of this place is very trendy and today. The menu has fun names for their items but at times taste or look very plain. The fish and chips are a definite must try. The drinks can be expensive, if you prefer cocktail types, but they have amazing deals each day of the week. Taco Tuesday is definitely a day to visit.

Brunch is honestly mediocre and exactly what you would expect from the Brewhouse. Got their slam breakfast and it was alright. Potatoes are deep fried like crazy but I’m not complaining about those. There was only two other tables and the wait was still 45 minutes or so?

Phenomenal! This place has just opened, and we have gone twice. The service is friendly and attentive, the food is tasty and thry are large portions, and although it is a bit pricey, there are specials every day that help with that. Never have we been to a brand new restaurant that had their 'stuff' together. Shout out to Crystal, Heather and Becky! The servers make or break your experience and these ladies made it! Definitely becoming one of our favorite places.

The patio is the best part! If you're like me, I find the indoors to be super over-stimulating, but if you like sports, loud noises, and lots of action, this is the place for you. Every time that my girlfriend and I come down for our date nights we get welcomed with friendly and fast service. Each time our waitresses has asked us how things are and every time we have a request they get it done as quickly as possible. I also want to give out a huge shoutout to the manager there, every time we're there and he is around he always comes and talks to us and sees how we're doing and if we need anything or stuff like that. Very professional and very happy with their service. Keep up the great work.

Went in around 3pm today and the service was horrible. Service was slow in the beginning and it took forever to get our bill and pay. The server never came to quality check after receiving our food, where we needed things but she never came back. We did ask for extra ranch after she dropped our food off but must’ve forgot. Ordered a Caesar and it was one of the worst ones I’ve had, maybe the clamato was low because it wasnt good, I asked for it with extra worchestire and it was watery and very plain. It wasn’t busy at all and being a server myself, I was very dissaponted with this place since I don’t have one where I’m currently living.

I give it a 4.5 because no restaurant is ever perfect but that doesn't mean the food or service wasn't a 5 star. Wich the burger was very good and delicious If you get the Canadian burger for a simple delight. Has a variety of foods from pizza to wings to wraps also nachos and a good choice of starters (deep fried pickles) But if you fancy a food challenge then they have one called the Rita burger. I recommend this place.

It wasn’t long after we took our seats when about a dozen red beacon lights hanging from the ceiling all suddenly activated (repeating often through the evening). A friend explained it happens whenever a point is scored in a game. That’s a relief, as I was worried the Purge was about the begin. No joke, outside the pub sat a thick fog from a nearby forest fire; couple that with the beacons, and I realized how much this resembled the opening act of a Silent Hill game. By the way, in case you missed any of the televisions, they are there. It may require a keen eye to spot one; there are only about forty of them, more than what you’ll find on sale at a Best Buy. An LED ticker scrolled across one wall; am I’m supposed to buy stock in ExxonMobil? And their menu offers a Doritos pizza—yeah, it’s going to be that kind of place. Both my friends ordered tankards of beer. Witnessing the immense mugs of gilded liquor and foam towering over my pitiful tumbler of water, and despising barley-based fermentations though still wanting to compensate for my daunted masculinity, I decided to order a sangria, which arrived in a wine glass fringed by colorful wedges of lime, lemon, and orange—thank God, I have a girlfriend. The menu offers the standard fare including poutines and burgers, all of it admiringly lacking illustrations, though leaving me curious about portion size given how shockingly expensive it all was. I couldn’t find a single burger under $16. The steak bites I ordered cost a penny under $16, which arrived resting mockingly over a piece of lettuce and supporting a paper cup of house sauce resembling cappuccino. I followed that with a short rib shepherd’s pie, which claimed to include carrots and peas, though I could count those on one hand. My friends ordered a pound of wings, a basic poutine, and Miss Vickie's Salt & Vinegar Fish and Chips (another brand drop, nice touch). What was shocking, however, was that the food wasn’t bad. Although the pie could’ve used a little extra finesse, the other dishes, including the poutine, were well-above average. GCB has no right being this good. It’s not great. It falters next to better pubs and pub-like establishments like Kask and Crossroads, but it’s certainly better than Don Cherry’s, maybe even Black Clover, quite the achievement for a business apparently designed by someone who dropped ecstasy while watching Speed Racer. Although the décor does prove that Max Headroom’s Blipverts are no longer an allegory, it isn’t as intrusive as you might think. Despite having at least three screens always in view, none were loud enough to force us to scream (at least until a group of inebriated socialites sat down nearby). The televisions faded into a kaleidoscopic mélange of colors and lights, such a cacophony, I wondered how patrons could focus on any one thing. Often enough, they weren’t. Given the number of screens and the variety of channels, at least two were always airing commercials. I haven’t discussed that deceivingly innocuous pager nestled at the side of every table we could push to summon for a refill, service, or check. Beyond any assumed accusations of this rendering staff lazy and undeserving of gratuity, imagine my surprise when I found the service commendable. Upon first seeing the button scorned on social media, I assumed GCB was a seat-yourself pub ignoring customers until beckoned with a button press. In reality, we were always waited on, only needing to push the button after I forgot to amend an order and later to receive the check. Our server was pleasant, borderline delightful. The only side-effect of the button was when we pressed it to request more utensils; another server delivered them a moment before our original server arrived. I still won’t support the practice. After already being required to wear a dress code matching short skirt with a sleeveless undershirt, now we compel servers to wear beepers. At least it’s not a shock collar.

Overpriced and understaffed is the easiest way to describe the brewhouse. I have been three times now, and on all three occasions I have had to wait 15 minutes or more to simply have my drink ordered, and beyond that, my food order has come out wrong on all three occasions as well.

I love the atmosphere in this place but something is not right with food or drink. Both times i visited this establishment i went in feeling fine and felt sick immediately after my first bite of food. First time i just didnt finish the plate and was fine after a bit. Second time i forced my way through the plate, went to leave and projectile vomited across the parkinglot, then immediately fealt fine. Not sure whats going on here, could be a crazy coincidence or maybe im allerfic to something they use? Not sure though as im allergic to nothing that i know of, but same results from the same place months apart sure makes me wonder.

Some of their meals are really not the greatest they go a bit overboard with some weird gimmick meals. But their more standard fair is generally very good the Chicken parmesan is a favourite of mine. I'd also recommend the butter chicken or the Donair or pizza. At the end of the day it is a pretty nice pub with decent service and even a trivia game that plays at set intervals. I would recommend.

Was not an enjoyable experience. We were a group of six during a time when it wasnt very busy. We waited over half an hour just to order drinks. I asked for a $3.99 cesar but when I got my bill I was charged $6.99. Our server was slow, unfriendly and unorganized. I would not recommend this restaurant to anyone.

Always a good time at the brewhouse!! We were there recently to watch the UFC fights, and a russian champion was fighting. Well he ended up losing by disqualification, which set off the table of russians watching the fights in the bar. Luckily they were well behaved, and more entertaining than anything, but what I love about this place is the staff let them get a bit loud and voice their opinions, without interfering and making them leave or censoring them. Thats the sign of a great establishment!

Used to be my go to place to eat. This time I didn’t eat the meal and asked for it to be taken off the bill, manager came out and said they would remove 30% off the total but wasn’t the case (took 30% off my meal which again, I didnt eat!). With so many awesome places To eat in PG like the Twisted Cork, White Goose Bistro and Copper Pig (which are all amazing) you would think the manager would step up his game to keep customers happy, not say one thing and do another to make an extra 15 dollars... Won’t be going back!

Food was disgusting, I tried contacting them to no avail. Worst food ever. Wil not be going back. Won't waste my $$ again. This was the second time. You want good food? Go elsewhere. Seriously. Don't waste your hard earned cash. Go local. Not here.

A very pleasant dinner. The service and food were excellent and the establishment very comfortable. It is obvious why this is such a popular place for local residents. There are specials almost every day that provides some focus while perusing the extensive menu. The chicken wings are well served and the side salad is generous. The house ginger salad dressing is notable as well. Prince George dining selections are limited, but this should be on the list to be considered. Family friendly and LOTS of liquor selections and sports oriented screens.

Took 2 full hours to get our food. The salad was very soggy and onion rings were cold. Burger was so burnt I couldn't taste anything over it. However staff was very kind and attentive. I'm not likely to return. If you're looking for a similar restaurant I highly recommend Mr Mike's across the parking lot.

I think its an over priced sports bar. Beer is more than $5 for a 12oz glass, Burgers are around $18! There was paper cooked into my pizza crust... There were quite a lot of beers to choose from but not very many were craft. All in all the quality of food and service is consistent between restaurants but as a whole the chain isn't very good.

Not bad for a sports bar! There is a small but decent selection of craft beer, a good menu of pub fare, and friendly service. Prices are also pretty good. If you’re not big into sports though I would avoid it. Screens and sports everywhere! Not a good place for a date-night either. I don’t connect with the sports scene so will be mostly avoiding it. But, I wouldn’t be mad if I ended up here again — the food and beer is good.

Very good service on both occasions I've been. First time with Ashley M, second with Aleeshia. Solid sporty enviornment, was showing the local hockey team's game which I thought was great community support. With the call pods allowed the ball to be in our hands for whenever we wanted anything, and anytime we called they were quick to come over and help. Will definitely be back again, very very excited for the outdoor patio opening up in the summer!

Unfortunately a terrible experience for us. We were in town for for a long awaited surgery. We were told it would be a long wait for food due to the unexpected influx of people and orders. Our food came quicker then expected however after a few bites into my wrap, I bite down on something hard and it fell out onto my lap. To my devastation, the object that fell out of my wrap was a quarter. Definitely lost my appetite and concerned about what is happening in the kitchen when there is money coming out in food.

Very disappointed. The first time I went the food and service were good. Tonight one fish and chips was dried out and over cooked. The other one was an under cooked gooey mess of batter. Took 20 minutes to get bill after pressing button several times and asking a couple different wait staff because my waitress was MIA. Then when she showed up she asked if I was all done. Worst experience ever. Ordered veggie tacos and it was Tuesday special for 1.99 each. Server tried to charge someone’s else bill twice before. We checked the bill but it wasn’t right. Then she charged us extra on the bill for the food we didn’t ordered. Still they charged us 10.47 for 6$ tacos. Server was not at all friendly, it was rude.

The service was wonderful however the food was very underwhelming.. I had the chowmein and the chicken was very dry and noodles were very oily I couldn't eat it. I told the waitress and for the first time ever it wasn't even discounted from my bill.. whatever I didn't complain as it was cheap ... I just found that odd... The deep fried pickles were great though. I do however find their menu to be somewhat busy and hard to read. But maybe that's just me. I would go back to give it another try add like I said the service was great.

Be aware they will not answer the phone. They sent completely the wrong order (vegetarians and they sent meat so we couldn’t even make it work). Won’t answer the phone, won’t call us back. Paid a LOT of money for zero food. What a waste and terrible service. Their automated phone system just boots you out. Skip won’t refund the full order so we’re out $

Very dissappointed that I paid $18 for a premade frozen burger with very under cooked bacon. My son ordered the kids quesidilla , I asked what was on it and was told just cheese, I said perfect, when it arrived it was cheese with what looked like chicken sandwich meat in it. Our buzzer at the table apparently didn't work, 3 people I was with wanted another round of beers, after pressing the button a few times and waiting 40minutes for our server , she came with no beers saying our buzzer must not work. The buzzers are a good idea but it would have been nice to have been checked on while we were eating, especially when she mentioned the table before us said the buzzer wasn't working. We are from out of town and thought we would try something new, but I won't be going back or suggesting it to anyone .

My go to when I'm in PG. Lots if menu items. Cannot beat their dry ribs I recommend the chipotle mango and wash it down with a tankard of your choice. And there are many draft beer choices. Great place to watch the game with friends

I would recommend this restaurant to anyone! The portions are great, the food is hot and delicious and the staff is always friendly. (We couldn't believe how big the Olympic StirFry was!) The rooftop seating is spectacular and a great spot to enjoy a cold beer and a nice meal with friends. Whether you're eating out or dining in, Canadian Brewhouse is the best restaurant in town.

The food is good, the Kareokee is great. The service is horrible!!! they have buttons on table to call for service ect but waitress will look at her buzzer turn it off and walk away. sometimes wait 30 mins before they even great u at your table. dont bring you a drink you order but still charge your bill for it and then say it was stolen or that you are trying to get free stuff

Our first server was amazing! but the second server who worked karaoke was terrible. Barely checked on our drinks, completely messed up our checks. And aweful service! Food is okay at best. Pubs are better. Quantities are pretty minimal, prices too high for the quantity and flavour you get. Quantities have gotten 50% smaller for the same prices. Wings are so small you'd think they got them off a budgie. Don't order the salt and vinegar dry rub. It's all salt, no vinegar. They don't value take out customers what so ever, and prefer to keep your takeout order waiting because they get better tips from the people getting hammered who are sitting in. Phone to order takeout hasn't worked in 4-6 months. Never enough staff.

Wing night! Excellent service, excellent food, excellent atmosphere! My only minor issue was that the Caesar salad was watery due to the lettuce not being drained but it was still yummy and fresh. I would totally recommend the Brewhouse to anyone looking for a great night out and amazing daily specials!

Before we walked in the first time I was about the set expectations low with a newly opened restaurant as our experiences in that past haven't been great. I'm glad I didn't voice my thought as our first experience there was fantastic as have been the ones since then. Our server yesterday, Becky, did a fantastic job!! Can't wait for the patio to open.

Alright place. A bit too noisy for me. However my real issue is with their quality of orders on skip. I have ordered skipthedishes from this restaurant several times and 6/8 orders have been wrong or missing items in a truly mind-blowing way. We have ordered salads where the chicken and bread arrive but no salad. Or a brisket shepherds pie with no brisket. That was just tonight. Do not order Canadian Brewhouse on skipthedishes full stop. Either go into their noisy restaurant or find out for yourself how frustrating it is to wait 2 hours for your food because you have to reorder.

Didnt enjoy the food as much as we had hoped. Mac n cheese was awful, ribs were cooked well with a basic BBQ sauce and came with a side of what seemed to be Uncle Ben's single serving rice. Cesar salad was good and so were the fried pickles. Drinks weren't as good as we had hoped they would be. We found the hostess to be poor at her job while we visited and didnt enjoy the atmosphere. Personally wouldnt return.

Back for the second times in two week and thinking it might be a while before coming back which is too bad as the service is great. To management, last week no Corona and no lime, food was good (Montreal Smoke Meat) although I ordered it with regular mustard but got Dijon but still ok. Today, Monday July 5, they have Corona but no lime, again, and wanted to order a clubhouse but NO bacon… I don’t care what your Corporate might say if you take the initiative to go to your local store to get things like lime and bacon. Chances are that it won’t be as bad as if your revenue drops even more due to lack of key ingredients and frustrated customers. Waited over 10 minutes for anyone to approach us to take an order with only 15 people on the patio. 6 of which where a sponsored ball team yelling swearing and making a scene with nothing being said. Always love going to the CBH expect for my last visit. I reserved a table on the patio for my birthday. I was told if anything changes I would be called. upon arriving, they didn't have my reso and waited for 25 minutes to get a table. My group was tossed in the back of the restaurant under a giant TV and almost forgotten. The patio certainly had tables... Our server was neglectful not only with drink service but with food. We finished several rounds of drinks and was about to leave when the food finally showed up. We were willing to spend big bucks there that night but went elsewhere. All in all, I was truly disappointed and not the greatest birthday.

There were 7 of us in the mid afternoon. 4 of us ordered 8 inch pizzas. After awhile the server came back and said they didn't have any 8 inch shells, only 10". We asked if we could have the 10" for the price of 8". We were told no. Cost of the 10" is 5.00 more. Very bad customer service so won't be back.
