We went to the lounge for a drink with my boyfriend and a friend. Rachel was bartending and I was denied service because I asked her what time they closed on another occasion I was there and she was very rude. I called her out on her ignorance at that time and she won't serve me everytime I go there. She is not customer service friendly and should not be working in service. I will bring this to the attention of the board as well. I will never go back again until they let her go. Too bad because we spend quite of bit of money, enjoy their food, food service, deck and atmosphere. If you go on the weekends, beware of Rachel, the bartender. She is not nice!

Went to see friends playing music on Dec 26 th. We were asked to leave by security staff. The reason was the bartender did not want us there for personal reasons. After some time we received an apology from management. We were told we were welcome back anytime. Staff should try to be more professional. The entertainment is local and very good.

I went out to lunch at the Silver Fox with a friend. I got a turkey club with a side of vegetables. The sandwich was good but the veggies were GROSS. They are old, green, geriatric carrots and I didn't know canned cauliflower was a real thing. It made me look forward to raisin Bran. My friend got the same with a side of mashed potatoes. They were NOT made today, yesterday or the day before.

The food is delicious and the staff is very friendly. The decor, decks, entertainment and water views are wonderful. However they are often understaffed so expect delays in the service. I am gluten sensitive and have enquired on numerous occasions as to why they do not offer a gluten free bun. The waitresses all agree and have received many other request. Because of it I will take my party of 6 to another restaurant this evening.

We were there for a Thanksgiving Dinner,. The best part of the meal was the service. The gravy on the turkey was almost while (very pale beige) and had no taste at all. The vegetables were overcooked, mushy, tasteless like they’d been sitting in water a long time, and not very warm. The little bit of turkey on top of the stuffing didn’t taste at all like turkey, certainly not a roasted turkey and there was no “turkey dinner” smell either. Sadly, we ordered pumpkin pie, and it was “just out of the fridge” cold, and tasted like it had been purchased at Walmart..Given it was “Thanksgiving Sunday” and our reservation was for 5:00, we certainly thought a restaurant would have had a roast turkey dinner would be freshly cooked. But, as I say the service was excellent. There’s not a chance I’d recommend this restaurant.
