We used to go here every second Sunday for breakfast. Then Covid happened so we weren’t able to go for a while. We were just there yesterday for breakfast. The food was gross, bland and cold. They gave me one small piece of back bacon for my eggs Benedict which comes with two eggs, the cook just cut that one piece in half and tried to hide it under the egg. Then I asked the waitress if she thought this was acceptable for $15 and she stood there silently. I asked for another piece of back bacon or even ham if they ran out and she brought me a piece of fat cut from the back bacon. The hollandaise sauce itself was atrocious, tasted like water salt and lemon… they would’ve been better off using hollandaise from a package. My husbands western skillet was “bland and watery”. We noticed the decline wasn’t just the restaurant but the lounge too. The lounge staff from two weeks back were horribly rude. The server approached once to ask for drinks brought the drinks then when asked if we could order wings she said not yet and just walked away. Didn’t come back either so we just left after our drink. I recommend going to ANY other location in the city. Service = bad, staff = just don’t care about their job and it shows, food = gross and over priced.

Unfortunately during the pandemic hours for the dining room have been reduced to 8pm. There aren't very many family restaurants in the area and with my spouse working late it makes it tough to grab a bite to eat and with really young kids you sometimes just need a break. Unfortunately tonight we have to go somewhere else. Otherwise we have enjoyed smitty's.

We went to Smitty's for brunch,lunch today. They won the BOB for breakfast, so we chose the breakfast brunch. What a disappointment. All the food was cold, poorly seasoned and a very li tied choice. It's not the first time we have not enjoyed our experience at Smitty's. We will not be returning, especially after we spent $40.50 for the worst meal ever.

The service was awesome! 4 pool tables which were available for our large group. The food was non existent if you're veg. I told them to forget about it if all they have is iveberg salad, which they did. Wouldn't allow outside food for someone who does not consume dismembered carcass and doesn't want to eat leaves and sand.

When we told our waitress that she missed an item, she didn't seem to know what to do and hovered uncertainly until we finally just told her we would survive without it. My first Ceasar came completely dressed up with pickle wrapped in salomi, an Olive, lime wedge and celery with a straw. Then Nothing, not even a straw. My son and I went for breakfast this morning, was a mistake to go here. We arrived and after 15 minutes had to stop a server to place an order. After waiting more than an additional 30 minutes for food we had to flag a server, again. We were told that it would be several more minutes. We had at this point run out of time so we needed to leave. I guess if you need to eat with a time limit of 60 minutes this is not the place to do it.

Went to Smitty's the other night with a few buddies to enjoy the Jets game! We decided to go in the restaurant because the lounge was pretty crowded, which was completely fine! However, it would have been nice if the TV volume was on or even just a little, so we could hear the game. The service by our waitress absolutely ruined our experience and night. I must note that the atmosphere was comfortable and food/drinks were still good. The host promptly greeted and seated us, but then had to wait a long time for our order to actually be taken. When we got our meals, our server basically disappeared. She did not come to check back to see how things were at all and came to our table a total of two times (one to take order, one to pick up plates). This was quite the disappointment as were looking to order more drinks but could not because she made herself unavailable. Also, the restaurant was not busy at all so there is no excuse for her lack of service. We came in not expecting outstanding service, just average, but our server failed to do even the bare minimum (like smile). She did not seem like she wanted to be there. Worst service I have ever had! Very disappointed.

This is one of the better Smitty's in town. It's modern, spacious, has a great wing selection, their own house beer, VLTs and a great kitchen menu. This location also checks ID at the door so make sure you have it!

Ordered a side of perogies...came out hard as rocks and were obviously sitting in the freezer for a long time from the freeze burn visible all over them. We sent them back and they didn't charge us for them. Usually this is a good place to eat, must have been a bad day.

Honestly I would probably not go back I went he on my girlfriend birthday we had been at the bowling place next door. This should have been a busy time 5pm on a Saturday just before Christmas and there was a Jets game on. This place should have been busy also should have been our first clue that this isn't a good place to be for a meal. Anyways we ordered our drinks first there was 8 of us 2 orders were incorrect not a big deal then we all ordered our meal after a longer wait that it should have been for being one of the 3 tables that were seated as we entered which is not the worst thing ever because we were not I a rush to leave Then we were eventually served our meal and it was ok not amazing not horrible but it's just kind of maybe slightly better than if we'd made the meals at home So all in all it was an ok experience being as the service was ok and the food was ok

There's tons of TV's, so every seat is a good seat for watching the game. Food and service was good. The space feels a little awkward, it's not a fun comfortable atmosphere; it's dark and sectioned off.

They don't run the same specials as other Smitty's. They don't accept the show and save card. Now reading other reviews it seems the owner is very cheap, and rather gouge his guests, rather than go for volume. Anyway we didn't stick around long enough to find out more, left and drove to the St.James and Ellice Smitty's and we are happy we did. Won't be back to this location.

I made an order through Uber Eats today. The order took too long to arrive, I ordered nachos and they were already mushy, my husband ordered a sirloin steak sandwich and he got a tough and chewy steak impossible to eat. I also ordered a chicken parmesan and it tasted like cheap chicken like the frozen ones you buy at the grocery store. It is really disappointing because I've always ordered food from Smitty's (from this location and from the one on Pembina) and I've never had a problem with the food before quite the contrary, they always have the best quality and the most tasty food in my opinion, I am not sure what happened this time.

Tried to have supper here. Appetizer was brought out with food instead of first. I asked for it first. My order was forgotten so everyone else ate while I waited. When my food finally did arrive it was the wrong order and the burger they did give me was burnt so bad I couldn't eat more than 1 bite and send it all back. Other good was average at best. I know it's not a fine dining restaurant but I've had better service and food from mcdonalds. Wont step foot in here again.

First time I was here the cook didn't show up on time because he was drunk (our waitress told us). Wait time was horrid and the food was sub par. We left without paying the bill. Still not worth the free food for the long wait. I've been back several times since, the food was good and made proper to my memory, except every time all had horrible service with long wait times and even having to walk to the bar to get staff to come serve us. It was non peak hours all of the times I was here. The last time I was here the food was good, but the waitress packed an extra order of food with my takeout that I had not ordered. I did not pay for it, and did not notice until I had arrived at home. I hope someone else was not left waiting for their food... Like I have been so many times.

Feb 14 i made a simple order of lemon dill wings... first of all the wings were tiny less than 2 inches in length.what i got was not what i ordered.i got the winthat were totally green look Like green moss covering them. I took one and it was covered in sonething like honey mustard ..i tasted it omg it was nothing like i ever tasted totally gross.i send them back but lost my appetite.wow they used to have the best wings .. wonder what happened!!!!!

Went here for wing night, which was only available to the bar (which sucks). Waited about half an hour for first batch of wings and about anotber 20 for the second batch. Thought it must been a mix up but I guess not, sad to say since any other smitty's have wings ready in 5-10 minutes considering the amount of people coming in. Wings were also dry and not very saucey.

The waitresses at this location are awful. "JJ" treated us so poorly. She was downright rude and snobby. She would walk away from us when we weren't done ordering our drinks or finished asking questions about the specials. I gave her my drink order and my daughters drink order. She walked away right when my BF was going to place his drink order. We ended up leaving before ordering food because I will not allow us to be treated so poorly. We took our business to another Smittys location where we were treated fair. I'd advise to spend your money at any other establishment where you will be treated with respect.

The inside of both the restaurant and lounge have been redecorated beautifully and the lounge has many quality pool tables but it's a shame because the service here is absolutely terrible. I hate to give them one star because they dont even deserve that. Cannot believe the terrible service we had tonight! The place wasn't busy but the waitress (Amelia) did not come to our table til we had been sitting for 25 min. She showed up to take our order wrote the order down wrong, forgot to bring one beer. One of us finally had to go to bar and get the beer she forgot because she never ever came back to our table. One and a half hours later we gave up on getting refills or more drinks so actually went to find waitress to get our bill. Manager was no better!

I frequently come to this location with friends and family. I was in a few nights ago and received the best service I have ever experienced. My waitress’ name was Justine. She was very personable and accommodating to our demands. With it being a busier night she made sure we were looked after. She went the extra mile to make sure we had an excellent dining experience. The food is always excellent and comes in a timely matter. My favorite is the Cajun wings and my husband enjoys the steak deal they have on Fridays. I give them 5 thumbs up.

First off, I wasn't going to bother with a lengthy review. However, after my star rating, the owner said thanks. For an owner to reply to a simple star rating, he must actually care about what people are saying. So here's a proper review... Before you even enter the building, there is acres of parking space. Upon entering the building, there is a nice hallway, and someone to greet you. The first person you see on the lounge side is a security guard. Off-putting at first, but the feeling of added security once you're inside is nice. A massive lounge. A few really nice pool tables (just don't expect to find a straight cue). I really enjoyed the west facing room with lots of windows. Food here is great. Classic pub style menu with good options. Nothing hippy or fancy, just simple food people want. Our server was truly excellent. She was very polite, just the right amount of fun, and came around just at the right times, as though she was watching us in a camera... Lol. My experience here was wonderful, and will definitely be going back.

Went there to watch the UFC fights. The $10 fee to watch was okay since I was driving so not drinking. The service was great. There are plenty of tv's, but a couple were set on the wrong aspect ratio which caused some weird rolling at the edge of the screen as the camera panned left or right. If I had been drinking, it would have been enough to make me nauseous. It didnt cause a problem for everyone in our group though. As I said, there are plenty of screens so no problem at all. I enjoyed the experience.

We came in to get 2 kids meals free with the purchase of two adult meals. We asked our server which meals were included in this deal, and she said any meal except from the senior's menu and the daily specials menu. When we ordered we double checked that what we had ordered was included in the 'buy an adult meal get a kids meal free' and she said yes. So when we went to pay, the manager said that we would have to pay for the kids meals because the meals we chose were not included in that deal. We explained that we had double checked with out server and she said it was. The manager then proceeded to give us loads of attitude, saying the server was new and we would have to pay for both kids meals. She finally gave us the extra bacon and gravy off the bill (valued at one kids meal), and we paid the other kids meal. We would have ordered something else had we known. So we left being given loads of attitude because they did not want to take ownership of their own mistake. Not exactly interested in returning.

Absolutely awful experience, first and last time I've ever been to this location... we went for dinner Sunday night with some family from out of town the lounge side was completely empty took the waitress 20 mins to get us our drinks took our order 30 mins for food to come, we all got our food except one person who sat there until everyone finished to get there food 35mins from the time we all got our meals to the time he got his.. (it was chicken fingers and fries) how long does that normally take?? We had to ask numerous time's for cutlery,and sides we missing from our dinners. I can understand if a restaurant is busy but for a Sunday night it was completely dead... i had told our waitress we are not payin for the meal that came out 35 mins after everyone else got theres she said she would talk to the manager.... as I got my bill they discounted the price, that to me was a slap I called the manager over and he continue to say there was no issues and he would only discount it. Im sorry but im a manager myself and the service was horrendous at this location... i told the manager that regardless if you only comp meals if things wrong with it.. well sir there was a mistake we were told they messed up on the chicken fingers and had to make new ones which took 35 mins to make?? Really chicken fingers?? Than the manager tells me the kitchen busy... well I don't care how busy the kitchen was... you guys messed up his dinner it should of been made first if you really wanna get practical. I will NEVER come back to this place, and ill make damn sure I share my awful experience with ppl so they know how awful this location is... who ever owns this franchisee or is the GM you really better check your management and staff on how to properly run your restaurant before you lose it.

Used their billiards room for my sister's Birthday party. They were fantastic! Food was great for a large group of people and the service was great.

Portions tend to be on the smaller side. For example I had fish and chips with fries and gravy. They could have served double the fries to make an average serving of fries you would get anywhere else. The food is very average diner options. Nothing special, nothing I would go back for to get here.
