Why is there a 24 hr sign when it's not open 24 hrs ????

Everyone here is super nice prior to you signing a contract but once you sign it all you hear is "There's not much we can do" or wait until your contact is over. I've been overpaying for my membership because of the rep who signed me up. The MANAGER told me I should be issued a refund, so I contacted their customer service and and every interaction has been beyond terrible. They don't try help you all it's just a bunch of "We weren't there when you got signed up so we can't issue you a refund". The only reason I gave this place 2 stars is that the classes are fun to do and the gym is clean and bright (mostly because it's new).

Manager making up rules about how long you can remove your mask to drink. How much time and often it take you to adjust your mask. Unempathetic towards elderly people with disabilities. She should look up sask “the code” under sask mask rules and the gym. Will be looking to start burying my own weights.

Absolutely love the layout of this facility, the massage chairs are great and it is never over crowded, tonnes of machines available. The one deviation against cleanliness is the crevasses in between the floor mats used for stretching are fairly dirty. They could be vacuumed and cleaned more often. Looks as though they haven't been cleaned in awhile. Other than that the customer service is great ???? ???? friendly helpful staff.

Been a member since pretty much day 1. Covid has really taken its toll on this location. GLF preaches cleanliness yet I hardly ever see the staff cleaning. Machines are in dire need of maintenance or replacement. this place is probably not turning a huge profit we will probably never see new machines. A Life fitness 95x elliptical would be a dream piece of equipment to have; Very easy on your joints. Members walk around in sock feet or barefoot, members do not clean the machines. Staff are usually hiding out in the Fitness Advisors office, not checking vaccine statuses. Good times. GoodLife used to be open on some stats now not so much. The positive about this place is that it is spacious and you aren’t crammed in like a bunch of sardines. Don’t go between the hours of 6-8pm as that’s when all the gym bunnies and swolemates are there. Good luck getting any benches or in the racks.

Best gym in Prince Albert. Always friendly staff and usually clean workout area. The black mats never get vacuumed in between them and collect a lot of hair, dirt, and dust. About 50% of the people who workout here don't wipe down their equipment after they use it. The women's bathroom smells so disgusting I avoid it at all costs. And not just once in awhile..I mean it stinks every day all day! Sauna and showers are pretty clean and so is the change room area. Tons of lockers to use. The body pump and attack classes are always full and seem a bit clique-y. The regulars who lift weights are friendly and helpful. Equipment is in good shape and lots of bikes, treadmills, stair climbers, and ellipticals for your cardio needs. I love when they have promos you can actually participate in and not always having to refer friends to workout there to get a shirt etc..just about all my friends already have a membership with goodlife so have no one else to refer after 3 yrs being there.

GLFitness is Located within South hill mall which can be both good & not. Very good due simple one floor mall f The hrs of operation vary but last time 'visited' GLF hrs reduced due to Covid but didnt have to book ahead on 1hr time slot. Limited in capacity allowed due to Covid protocal which could change.. Call ahead to inquire saves time & waiting in line outside GLF doors on tiles over concrete not fun!. The flooring in GLF easier on joints. Calling GLF/:visiting web for info can save time & frustration esp if facility closing soon & getting there is not easy. Mask wearing @ all times while @GLF manditory except to drink water from own water bottle. If water fountain working can fill container up if like city water/ water bottle empty after sucking air through mask while exercising!????ps ceiling fans cools place so move it / wear bunny hug etc esp if doing slow cool down/ yoga/ other. Arrows on floor & some signs indicate way to walk etc. Their is wash rms with large dis bathroom stall. Has sauna but not in use during Covid easy access showers but ? If being used esp if using time to do workout etc. South hill mall entrance sliding remote main doors are only open(?) 9am-6pm(?) so if want to enter & exit with ease call/google GLF/SHMall to inquire reg hrs of operation. I have arrived & sliding main mall doors(east side) weren't working/ under repair/ closed for the day. Ps: Can enter mall leading to GLF via door adjacent to SHMall main sliding doors via small box remote push button security system.on wall. Wait for person to say come in after they survey the area. There are other doors open during mall hrs on west parking lot area where local city buses go & there is a bench for waiting/ resting. GLF itself has disablity accessability doors to get in & out of once in SHmall. Not sure if U can get day pass etc for GLF if non- member/ member from other location in Sk/ Canada. So calling Prince Albert GLF to inquire may save time. GLF great place if lousy weather/ prefer to exercise inside gym that has lots of different equipment a separate bike rm,a large aerobics rm both with/without classes with large drop down virtual screens for private use / class workouts.Have to book all. My favorite is the massage chairs if have time to use with time constrains imposed by Covid rules. Again availability limited to # of live bodies& booking on line not always working???? Any time of yr can be 'hard to find Dis accessable parking spot (ie Xmas,Easter, late evening shopping etc)There is large parking lot by Safeway etc & on other side of mall again check for hrs entrance doors open. There is security guards but again use common sense for safety esp after sunset. All rest benches for disabled /elderly / etc are nowhere in entire mall / only near west side bus stop. If cant walk far due to disabilities use disability devices/ hope u can make it to GLF inside mall without falling esp if on own & carrying necessities. Miss the solid non destructible long wood benches with metal frames on way to GLF & to visit other shops ie Safeway,Shopper's Winners etc.. Not the decision of the businesses leasing spaces inside & outside SHmall but to the owner(s).? influenced by Covid protocol?!.. People use the mall for walking exercise as before but due to spacing restrictions guess more space without benches!?! All in all my rating 4/5 but see for yourself..

I have been watching the workers ignore the people not wearing masks. If I have to wear my mask, so should everyone else. They clearly don’t want confrontation, fair, but they also should do what is right.

Do you enjoy paying premium gym prices but receiving budget gym hours, service and customer service? If this description is what you’re after, this GoodLife location is the right choice for you! This location increases prices relatively often (yearly) and decreases the hours relatively often (hourly, previously a 24 hour gym) The manager has a condescending attitude and does not know how to talk to people in a friendly way. Currently the gym seems to have 2-3 staff working at all times, although majority of that time is spent behind of a computer not interacting with gym members. On a positive note, this gym is typically clean and the machines are in good working order.

It's a good gym. It's clean, and the equipment is well taken care of. They also have deadlifting platforms as well. Finally the staff is generally friendly.

The Club changed his hours from 24h acess at the beginning when they opened to 5am-11pm and now its only 6am-8:45pm and on the weekend 8am-3:45pm. But never changed to membership fees! Thats not how a professional gym should operate! And the membership prices are the highest in prince Albert.

1.)Rude manager and front desk staff 2.) Overpriced considering hours open 3.) Dirty facility Noticed it wasn't nominated for PA's BOB awards either under fitness facilities….which PA does not have many to begin with.

Staff is very helpful as well as the manager, the gym is not crowded and very clean.
