I think it's over rated and expensive... But I keep getting mix signals here. Some times it's the smallest and untasteful food and other time the best mouthful meals (the burgers tho)

The food was so, so good - best pizza I've had since I don't know when. Burgers and wings were also outstanding. Beer flights available - we thoroughly enjoyed all the ones we tried. Service was friendly and efficient. Highly recommend.

Beer was great, something for everyone, even the none craft beer lovers like myself. I had a delicious lighter beer which was suggested. My husband and I shared the Ruben burger, it was absolutely delicious, I could have eaten the whole thing myself. The waitress was very nice too! A gem in Port Colborne.

The Breakwall is delicious! I was there for Oktoberfest when we got to try out some German style foods and beer. I've gone for their burger special of the week a few times as well and they've been fantastic. It's a busy place but still nice to sit and have a meal.

Food is fabulous. Very tasty, fresh and well priced. Service however… not as great. My daughter ordered the fried chicken burger mild, it came covered in hot sauce. The waitress didn’t apologize but tried to justify how hot “mild” is, took sandwich back and brought one without the fries, as if sending food back meant we lost a side. By the time she came with the fries, the sandwich was already cold. Poor experience but the food once again, is very good.

Friendly staff, fun trivia nights, awesome craft beers and a simple menu constructed of mostly sandwiches and burgers. They also have a cool little shop where you can purchase off sales of there different beer products and swag; I got a cool gift basket for a friend of the family and it was wrapped up nicely. Definitely recommend their blond lager.

Always clean. The beers are great. They are always brewing up seasonal beers also. The food menu is always changing for the better. And the weekly specials are great. Best burger I've ever had was at breakwalls.

The patio was a bit waspy (we killed three!), but the beer was good (really liked the NEIPA), the fries were crispy, and our server was friendly and pleasant. It was also just nice to be taking in the noises of Port Colborne. (Port Colborne tip: you have to see the shrinking mill illusion when you're here. Look it up, it's worth it)

We hosted my husbands 30th birthday here and it was amazing! Conrad was exceptional to work with, and made the planning process so easy. Conrad and his amazing team went above and beyond to ensure we had everything we needed, going as far as to set up giant Jenga and allowing us to utilize their private dining room to set up food, a photo booth and party decorations. The Breakwall team was extremely organized and ensured that everyone in our large group was taken care of—which is exceptionally impressive considering that our party showed up at various times throughout the evening, and it was St. Patricks Day weekend, so it was already a busy night for them. As always, the food was excellent and the beer was delicious—I enjoyed their new ‘Maple Lager’ which was so good! Everyone had such an amazing time, and I couldn’t have asked for a better place to have hosted the party! Thanks again to Conrad and his fantastic team!

Wonderful spot for a quick drink. I have been here several times, and although it does close kind of early because it's a small town, it has a great atmosphere and is nice to have a quick drink. They have a large selection for a smaller brewery, and the craft beer is on point. Can't wait to go again! ????

Went to this place last night May 25th, 2019 with a few friends and my wife. The beer and bar staff were amazing, the ONLY bad thing was my wife's chicken 1 little piece was raw. But our amazing server compted her meal and gave her a beer on the house. Other than that, I'll be going back there soon!!!!

Relative Insanity

Wonderful selection of craft beers! Food is quite good for a craft brewery. First time out had the breakfast burger and it was great served on a brioche bun. Second time out tried a different burger, i think with peanut butter on it. Unfortunately the bun was sub-par, I think it was a ditalliano bun from the grocery store. Hopefully this was just a quick substitution and they had run out of the brioche. Stick with a good bun on a $15 burger. Otherwise great place.

The beer was amazing. Great selection of styles, just enough to make a couple flights and not double up. The food was phenomenal too! The burger i had was hand pressed, with a generous amount of bacon. The deep fried pickles were dynamite with the sauce they served them with

Amazing locally owned brewery that has top notch food and a fantastic beer selection. All of the beer is brewed on site which also adds to the cool atmosphere. Everything is super clean and spacious as well ????. Best spot in town for beers and food if you ask me!

The beer is very taste. Being a beer snob. If you're going to call a beer an IPA then make an IPA. One of the 2 IPAs they make is 4%. IPA should be 6% or higher. And neither have the hop forward flavour or aroma that one would expect from an IPA. That being said, if you are not a beer snob like me, you will enjoy their beers. If I was rating on the beer alone I would give 3 stars. But I have to factor in food which is excellent. So 4 stars it is.

Good burger even if it was 'well done' per Canadain law, I guess. It was Way over priced at, I think, $13 for a 6 oz burger on a small bun with two fifty cent coin size pieces of tomato and leaf of lettuce. The fries were good, and enough to feed me and two of our grand children though. The rest of the family enjoyed their selection of beers!

Breakwall Brewing has done a good job adapting to Covid-19 protocols. We felt safe dining on their outdoor patio and enjoying a nice afternoon. Indoors on a nastier day would be fine too. They have a nice assortment of house brews and offer gluten-free buns. Typically pub menu items. The only weakness was the dip that came with the onion rings, which seemed to be just straight mayonnaise, strange.

Niagara Face Painting

Adventuring away from Niagara-on-the-lake we found this great brewery. Lots of different IPAs and a vegan burger! Menu looks very inclusive with #vegan & #gluten-free options. Definitively a place to try when in the Niagara peninsula.

Excellent fresh food! Tried the 3 Cheese Everything Bagel pizza and cauliflower bites. The crust is so thin, fresh and crispy, similar to brick oven pizza! Highly recommend!

A tip to the owner. Don’t try to make your money on your flights. We had a great experience with some pretty good beers and an awesome mushroom soup pizza. We ordered a flight to figure out what beer we wanted and when the bill came I was shocked that you charged me $2.75 per beer on the flight. Why not at least give a discount on the flight if beer ordered afterwards? It left a bad (figuratively) taste in my mouth. I likely won’t soon be back.

Great beer and the food is kind of hit or miss- however it does seem like they are trying new things and improving. My main concern here is actually that its just somewhat impossible to have a conversation inside. The acoustics are brutal- it has been way too loud every single time I've been there, some sort of sound dampening would go a long way to making it a better environment for staying for awhile.

Absolutely incredible food. Just amazing. We went for the first time last week. Didn't know what to order, so we ordered everything we wanted. It was delicious and there was lots!! Portions are great, and food is phenomenal!! Service is excellent. Maddy was so friendly. She was amazing to my daughter. Paid her so much attention. She was kind and attentive. She's one of the best servers we've ever had!

We had the pizza of the day, based on a Po' boy. It was delicious, including the crust, so you know all of the pizzas would be great. How cute is that 10 ounce beer? We were there on a roadtrip, for lunch, so we weren't overindulging. I had their blonde brew, and I would enjoy it again. It was a delightful, unexpected find.

Haven't tried the food yet, but the craft beer was awesome! Nice to have such a unique place in Port Colborne to go to when we visit family. Also had a great conversation with the owner or Brewmaster just chatting about Craft Beers across the province. It was unexpected but really nice. The staff here are fantastic, and we look forward to going back! Oh, and they fill Growlers which is a huge plus!

If you're driving through Port Colborne this is one of the spots you have to stop in at. Perfect location right downtown with a huge selection of tasty home-brewed beers and locally-sourced food. If you stop by for something to eat, go with with one of the pizzas and thank me later. Beer-wise, the Blonde is the way to go. Enjoy!

Patio was very busy, and it wasn't very covid restrictions from what I observed. The people were very happy and enjoying their time but I have to wonder why they were jammed/full and regular seating close to the other customers and n masks on any customers ???? like they were exempted....weird

Simply amazing...from the vast beer selection to the remarkable menu choices, this is a must try. Very well priced too. Also, the staff were incredibly kind and joyful. The portions were very generous. I’m a big eater and I couldn’t finish my plate! Will happily return

Best beer in Niagara! Hands down!! I’ve literally never had a beer from here that I didn’t like. Always something interesting on their rotating tap and I am especially impressed by their sours every. single. time. I don’t even like sours that much but this place knocks them OUT OF THE PARK! Great food for sitting around drinking and their trivia nights are super fun. Last time I went I had their blackened fish sandwich (delicious) and split some nachos (also delicious). Not from Port Colborne, but worth the drive out there!

My wife and I stopped here while visiting in the area. We were greeted by our friendly server. They had a good selection of different styles of beers to try and I enjoyed the ones I had. The chicken wings were also very good. Gave it 4 stars because it's not my favorite craft brewery I've been too. But happy to see one in the area.

First time here and it was great! Kristy was our server and she was wonderful. Very patient and helped us to find the perfect beer. We had the soft pretzel bites.....YUM. Then we shared a pizza. The crust was amazing. Crispy yet soft. The toppings so fresh and flavorful. Thank you Kristy for a great experience. This was our first time here but it will definitely won't be our last.

We searched for a place outside of the high-price Niagara area and struck gold with Breakwall's. The quality and quantity of food is excellent. Serving sizes are even larger than in the States and nothing you order leaves you thinking you didn't get your money's worth. Great tasting variety of beer that is all brewed on-site. The thirty minute drive to the small lake town of Port Colborne from Niagara is pretty and enjoyable and was 100% worth it for us. Side notes: 1) Vegetarian/vegan friendly with their spicy black bean burger patties coming at no extra cost, which we liked a lot. 2) Our server Karina was super friendly and gave us advice on our future Canadian vacation destinations.

Finally a brewery that serves outstanding beer and equally as delicious food! Ask the servers about their beer flights, they will take their time to determine the right mix of beers for you. The Beef on Weck sandwich was a nice twist on a classic beef dip and the burger special was out of this world. Thanks for the great hospitality, Breakwall :)

Very pleasantly surprised. Came in for late lunch with a small group of friends. The place is in a great location downtown Port Colborne. Lots of parking on the street and big lot just adjacent to the restaurant. This place has its own brewery offering some nice craft brews. Some were good some were different. What really surprised me was the quality of the food. kudos to the kitchen for some very interesting menu items and delicious food combinations. The dill pizza was fantastic!!!! really... really good. The fish tacos were also very very good. Beer was good, but I have lot of compliments towards the food and the kitchen staff. everyone was very satisfied. Our server was also very nice and prompt so absolutely no complaints. I would give a big 5 star if the decor was a little "softer" and a little more comfortable. Little more finish on the walls and more comfortable seating. Good time for sure. Can't wait to stop by next time i'm in town.

Was my first time there August 31st, would never go again, onion rings were too much breading with little onion, Cesar salad had no taste, yuck, hamburger was ok , but for $16.00 I've had gust as good from burger king.

Our waitress was extremely nice! She was very accommodating to a food allergy: double checked ingredients, talked to the kitchen, explained which foods had what ingredients. I really appreciated it as I don’t eat out much because most find it a hassle to accommodate. So thank you for being so great!
