Sat for 15 minutes before the waitress took drink orders. Another 10 minutes to get the drinks. And an hour from the time we ordered food until we had it. Ridiculously slow for a Friday evening. Advertise fried chicken as a special, but don't have any chicken in the building. Didn't get what I ordered, but the cook left and the waitress didn't come back for over 20 minutes. 1 person working the whole room and bar on her own obviously was not enough.

Very disappointed this time. Went on Thursday about 1 mth. ago and reallt enjoyed the steak dinner. Cooked perfect and tender. We went back lastThursday and steak was paper thin, over cooked and tough. Potatoe was cold. Very discussed.

We ate here one Tues evening and it was truly awful. The cook left right after we were served. My fish n chips wasn't cooked well and the batter was still raw inside.

It took an unusually long time to get our meals, almost an hour. It took us 20 minutes to get our order taken in the first place. I only ordered an app. There was a fly in my water. Only a couple other tables full so it wasn't busy. The other table that arrived after us ended up leaving. No compensation was offered. We come here often and it's usually great. I probably won't be back though after tonight, for the price things are I don't want to end up being burned again.

Had supper there on a Saturday with my family. While the beer was cold and served well, the food was also cold and under cooked. The nachos had to go back to be warmed as the cheese was not melted and the battered fish was raw. Will not be returning.

Atmosphere is great, food was delicious / decent sized portions at good prices. Didn’t want a huge thing of nachos (that’s offered on the menu) and our waitress, Courtney, and the cook - were super accommodating to get me a serving of nachos for 1. Super friendly as well!

August 27th 2018. Place was empty (2pm),went to celebrate bday. I ordered steak "rare rare", it was well done. Daughter ordered chicken fingers, ends were hard. Our food sat in window while server chatted to cook for over 5 minutes. No one asked re food, had 2 go tell waiter. Next steak was 50 %smaller and over seasoned,gritty & salty. Decided to leave after paying 44$.Take home container was a thin cardboard pizza box.. And that's how food tasted at home. Like cardboard..The green bin was "fed" & it would of rejected it 2 if able!! HORRIBLE ! What happened ? This place used to be very good ! Save your $$ & make your own food, Like we had to after "eating at Shenanigans ". No apology re food, just dirty looks. Never going back & recommending Xmas parties etc etc to stay away! DISGUSTED !

Love the food here! Great specials. Both times I've been, though, there's been slight issues with the service...first time was just slow, second time 2 of us ordered burgers, and when they came there were no toppings just meat and a bun...But the waitress did her best, and was really good about sending it back and once it was fixed our meal was fantastic. Would definitely recommend.

Ordered here on a Friday night. Usually we get takeout from other local restaurants on Friday and wait times are anywhere from 45m-1.5h, but the food arrived at my home 19mins after ordering. Everything look great, portion was hearty and food was delicious. I ordered the Banquet Burger and poutine and it arrived in a pizza box which tells you how much food you actually get! Veggies on the burger were fresh and crisp, bacon and burger was cooked to perfection. Husband got the 1pc fish and chips and it was enormous. He says it was very good, probably best fish in town. Staff was very friendly as well. Great experience, we will be back again!

We were quite skeptics when we walked In an empty restaurant. We were quickly introduced to a regular and his friend. They chatted to us and taught us a lot about the fishing lifestyle and Nova Scotia life. They talked highly of the owners, waitress and the cook. The waitress(Courtney) was very pleasant and apologetic when she thought we were being bothered. Nothing better than free entertainment with your delicious meal. So thankful we stumbled upon this place.

Had a great night. 1/2 price apps are great Saturday night 3-7 Dale playing acoustic guitar was really special with his friend playing flute. This is our local now. Great food fair prices loved the guitar.

I went to Shenanigan’s, hoping to catch a glimpse of local legend, Ken Briggs. He wasn’t there, but the beer was cold and the wings were hot and spicy! I will definitely be back and I hope to be lucky enough to get to rub elbows with some of the local celebrities that frequent this establishment! See you soon, Tartan Teddy!

Great bar food. We've had the broaster chicken, chicken wings and potato skins and all very good. Large portions and good atmosphere but have only been in for lunch. Lots of tvs and sports on. Friendly staff.
