This is my all time favourite restaurant. The food is always excellent. Prices are reasonable. Wait staff is friendly and helpful. The menu is wide ranging to suit all tastes and they do have a gluten-free menu as well.

Actually took some home cause i loved it so much. The cooks should stay out back where they be long thou instead of coming out front trying to figure stuff out that's the waitress job. Other then that one of the waitress kept leaning on the table when ordering which is super unprofessional. Overall, the experience was normal enough. Their Inferno burger didn't live up to its name. The Flamethrower burger from Dairy Queen does live up to its name (as far as a mainstream fast food chain can) and they do it for *half the price*. I will also return though, for two reasons: First they *not* add a rip off covid surcharge and I tip my hat. Second was the food and service. No, the inferno wasn't hot, but the quality of the food itself and the service was excellent.

Can a place be less than one star? I didn't think so, until I found this joint. My wife and I each ordered a mid-rare strip steak, only to have it arrive 30 minutes later - very well done. My wife described here's as shoe leather. We informed our server - Andrea - that they were very well done. She seemed confused - maybe she forgot we had ordered, as she wrote nothing down during the order process. We asked for new steaks, of course, and proceeded to wait 45 minutes. When I got up to ask where our meals were - she had no clue what we were talking about. Apparently, at Jungle Jim's, when they screw up your food order - that's it - no second chance to make it right. Don't most restaurants re-fire a messed up meal? Maybe the guy who knows how to cook steaks was off that night. Terrible service, terrible food, and terrible management all around. I ate better food when it was the Bluenose tavern! /edit: I left the building to find my wife reduced to tears over how we were treated/ignored during this visit. So if I acted grumpy at the end of my visit , there's the reason. We were never offered replacement meals - the server asked if we wanted to finsih our veg before she took our plates - I told her no - just re-fired meals - and I left it at that. No one came to see if we wanted any more food - or even another drink. We were walked past for 45 minutes before I finally got up to inquire where out food was, only to be told there was none coming.

They've improved their menu since their makeover. The food used to be really cheaply made junk that only the kids would like but they have improved to be on par with most other family restaurants. Still room for improvement but overall ok for the price.

Right from the entry we we were greeted by a friendly hostess and taken to our seats. Our waitress (Jody) was fantastic and such a pleasure to have at our table. Her warmth and positive attitude really helps you to enjoy the environment! Our food was piping hot and very delicious. I had the quesadilla, another in our party had the Philly cheesesteak, and another had the bbq bacon cheddar burger. All meals were beyond tasty and there was so much food that we all left with (over)full tummies! Fantastic job everyone! We will be back for sure! Update: Popped over for a bite this past weekend (Sept 4, 2021). Food was great and the wait staff was super friendly (despite some crabby customers trying to bully their way to a table in an already full house). I had the Philly Cheesesteak this time, and husband had the NY Striploin steak. Both meals were fantastic and they made about the best daquiri I have ever had! So good it tasted like another! ????

I came here on Saturday to celebrate losing 11 pounds on my second week and I ordered the bathroom sink. The chick fajitas were delicious. The mozzarella stick was cheesy. The fries were on point and the onion rings week crunchy the way I like it. And their sweet n sour sauce was awesome. Had a Pepsi and was stuffed afterwards. I definitely recommend this place. Also the staff was very friendly.

The review board is not for restaurant staff to post 5* reviews instead of directly replying to someone (which is in direct violation of Google review policy, as staff are boosting the rating). You call a 80min wait to receive the wrong order and then no service "no big deal" and just a mistake.... And that with 20 more minutes it would have been fixed... Then you go online and blame the customer, saying it is because they are a bad customer... So did the staff intentionally mess up the 'simple' order or did the servers make the customers sit around for 80 min to get back at them? Otherwise how exactly is the customer responsible for the staff making the food wrong and taking forever. Discriminating against customers simply based on how you perceive their attitude is childish. If you have worked there for 6 years with that attitude towards the customers and their dining experience then it says a lot about the management. Also you refer to jungle Jim's as a family friendly restaurant... Are you also classifying hooters as family friendly then? Try putting on some pants and getting family friendly uniforms. ACTUAL REVIEW: Jungle Jim's is below fast food quality at restaurant prices.... With extremely hit or miss service.

The food and service was excellent, I tried for the first time the "headhunter" and I was not disappointed as in leaving there hungry. But I did have a bad experience due to the fact I drank half a glass of ice water WITH A DEAD BLACK FLY FLOATING ON TOP. I took a picture and reported it to the server. This is my favorite Jungle Jim's location and for the first time I left unwanted and displeased. Just a heads up, not sure if it was intentional or not but I won't be returning to that location for awhile now...just a heads up everyone :) check your liquids before u take a drink Update: The manager has still not replied to my numerous emails :(

We used to frequent Jungle Jims quite a bit over the years, however we have found that the quality and quantity of the food has deteriorated to the point that we asked each other last time we went "why do we still go here". I guess the kids have always liked the decor and the treasure chest toy at the end of the meal - but it just doesn't feel like you get value for your money.

Had nachos, they were quite expensive and pretty bad. Didnt know there was olives so i suppose thats my fault but there was like a pound of olives... and the portion size was small for $20. I used to go here alot many years ago, it was always great. Upon viewing several hasty, spiteful 1 star reviews, I feel it necessary to set the record straight. Our server was magical, her waiting skills on point. The nachos were as described, super super. That's not just super, that's 2 supers. And then, for $7.99, I was presented with a burger fit for an English monarch. The home fries were cooked to an excellent crispiness, with the ideal level of saltiness. Unlike these 1 star reviewers, who seem saltier than necessary. What a time to be alive. 5 stars.
