Went to see Matt Andersen last night & the show was ruined by a screaming harpee of a woman behind us. She was asked repeatedly to stop screaming, but she was drunk & rude. We ended up leaving by the 2nd song because she was only getting worse as she drank more. This will be the last time I ever come to Pictou. The people that work there are useless & do nothing. Edit There is nothing you can do, this will be the last time we ever come back to Pictou. Drunken loudmouths who were obviously over served are your problem Never again.

Well I went with 4 sisters ..we had a lady in a walker so had to go down on liftchair...the girls that took her down(and took her down as soon as we arrived )reserved seats near the door too..(was on floor lever ) were awesome ..and were right there at end of show to take her back up... best service I have seen in a long time..

It was very hard to hear the play and the seating was not comfortable. The play was about A Nova Scotian woman named Mona Parsons. I was sitting in the chairs close to the floor but not at the tables.

What a great experience. Due to covid they now give you a menu with a dry erase marker and wait on you at your table. Great service and an overall amazing night. I hope the expansion they're planning happens soon!

The Decoste Performing Arts Centre is a gem in the middle of Pictou. It is located on the beautiful waterfront in the historic town of Pictou, the place of the landing of the Ship Hector from Scotland. The Decoste offers many different types of shows throughout the year, as well as the Rotary Club play each year. The prices are reasonable, if you buy a yearly membership, you get discouts at local venders, as well as 2 for 1 shows for members.
