The food here is amazing! I want to share something about this place. I remember when restaurants were shutting down due to Covid-19 lockdown. The owner made burgers & fries and gave them to everyone, no charge. That tells me a lot about the owner and staff. Very caring people. I will never forget your kindness!

A bit difficult to find if you’re new to town BUT the food, drinks and atmosphere definitely make it worth it. They have great wings, poutine and the best salad I’ve had in canada so far.

Good food, good service, good day all around . Was here on July 1 glade I picked this place. Enjoyed the food and time spent with a couple of my friends. We all upgraded to poutine. Big portions . Beef Burger and the veggie burger ???? all was good and filling.

Great place to hang out for casual food and good live music. I was there during the weekend and it was absolutely packed, booked solid in fact. I told the owner that I was from out-of-town and had made a specific stop at this bar, as it's kind of a tradition to go every year. The owner was very accommodating, and somehow managed to get us a table despite everything being reserved. Service was great; my favorite place in Picton by far!

The staff was friendly, but we weren't informed of the dinner special, which would have been our choice over what we ordered. We only learned about it when we heard the table next to us order prime rib, as we were finishing our burgers! The burgers and salad were tasty and generous portions.

The steak sandwich was delicious. The fries that came with it were the standard frozen ones, not very good. Friendly service was very, very slow and inattentive though the restaurant was nearly empty. I will still go back to try some of the burgers but I will have salad instead of fries.

Had take out dinner here while working in town. This happened to be on the first night of "in restaurant" dining after the current lockdown lift, so i knew they were busy.. they still managed to put together a perfect dinner for my employees and I, well timed, and still hot. The food was done to perfection, tasted amazing, and good size servings!!!! Would recommend this gem of a restaurant to anyone stopping in to this beautiful little town. Love The acoustic grill, and Picton! Thank you!

Ambiance is great, but too bad they don't have live music because of the pandemic (many other places now do have live music). But at a minimum they could play music on the speakers.

I came here with a friend as we were visiting the area. They usually have live music but for now there are no live shows due to the situation with the pandemic. The tables were limited in number and spaced well apart; we went for a late lunch but did not wait too long for a table. Staff were nice and helpful. Food was great! I ordered the Chicken strip and dip. The Chicken strips were really fresh, not oily and crispy/crunchy, perfect for me! The salad was awesome and tasted really fresh. It had a light, tangy dressing with it. The atmosphere was great. We also tried a local cider which was also awesome called The County Cider, Blackberry and Peach flavour. We ended up visiting the Cider place (a 15-17 minute drive) and stocked up on the wonderful local drink.

The wait was worth it. The evening we ate here the capacity was 40. We waiting approx 30 minutes for a table for two. I believe that was because the patrons seated were in no hurry to leave!! Nice atmosphere and COVID protocols were being followed that we could see....THE FOOD? VERY GOOD! Worth the wait, we will return to try it again. Once the live preformers return!

The food was high quality and the staff were fairly attentive; the only drawback seemed to be the lack of items on the menu, which most places have conformed to during these times to create an efficient kitchen for takeout and delivery. The establishment is tucked away from the main street, making their patio a private experience.

Great friendly staff, be prepared to wait in a line to go in. Not sure why they don’t play any music at the bar area. I stopped by for a couple of beers and poutine.

Cool Music. Great Food. Bad Coffee. Heh heh. That is the sign that greets you as you approach. I went with my family for lunch and there was no music (no biggie...likely an evening feature), the food was GREAT. And, I did not try the coffee, but was certainly curious. Great restaurant atmosphere. Friendly staff, and, got to meet the owners who were busy helping out the customers. This place is quite busy...good to see...and, happy to support local. Highly recommend during your visit to Picton.

Great little pub in the heart of Picton to grab a snack and a great drink. Their cocktails were super and deep fried pickles were great too! But the service was AMAZING. Our sever was so sweet and helpful. Thank you !

The food was good even if the menu was a bit one note. The ale and mushroom soup was quite delicious though. The outdoor patio seating was really cute with creeping vines and flowers growing on the trellis.

What a great place. After not travelling since 2020 Covid when started, we ventured to The County for a few days. We have had reservations for months at The Drake but they called less than an hour befoee our reservation to say they were closed due to a broken window. Stuff happens. So we looked for what was near our accommodations and thought we try The Acoustic Grill. Such Food. My husband had the burger with blue cheese and he said it was so good. I had the chicken wings with butter- parmesan (really good crispy wings and the flavor spot on). I had the compilation salad as my side - I would highly recommend. Fresh bright dressing on an amazing salad. Really happy for the last minute changes in plans. Thanks guys.

Loved the gluten and dairy free options. Service was spectacularly friendly. Locals totally need to support this place. Great food. Giant portions! Great value. Need better signage directing people to you from Picton Main St. down the aisle between the Vic and Bean Counter...it's very easy to miss the Acoustic Grill if you don't know where you are, and they totally deserve it!

Saturday 530pm. Turned away from other places without reservation. Here, we found parking and we were able to drop in for casual dinner. Seated quickly. Service was efficient and friendly. Acoustic Jam burger was good as they claim. Really enjoyed the steak sandwich. Poutine was simple but good. Wil come back.

Nothing super unique, but a nice pub in the area. :) Friendly service, cold drinks. Gotta deduct - 1 star for the poutine though. The fries weren't proper 'poutine' fries (they were shoestring and tasted like frozen-fries) and the cheese curds weren't the 'squeaky' poutine-appropriate ones.

Came here mid afternoon on a Saturday. The place wasn’t that busy. Burger was big as advertised. The string fries are nothing special. The steak sandwich was not good. Bun was well toasted but the steak so was so tough and had a lot of gristle.

Came here from TO. The staff here are amazing. The host kept us updated with the availability of our table, our server was knowledgeable, incredibly friendly and attentive. The best service ever!! The menu is great with indeed one of the best Burgers I have ever had. The mayo caramelized onions and horseradish makes the burger pop!! You also have to try the fried chicken sandwich!! Thank you for making our day!

Service can be a little iffy depending on the person but the food is always great. Their bean burger is delicious and I get it everytime I come here. Their other burgers are good as well, nice fries, their lemonade is also good. They also have nice topping choices.

When you see a restaurant fully packed and no tables available, you must know it is good. We visited Picton for a weekend getaway and dropped by for dinner on a Friday night. There was no place at all for our big group. We went there the following day on Saturday and were glad we did. The place was quaint and well done up. The selection of beverages on tap awesome. And the food, finger licking good. The portion were huge and small eaters like myself would never be able to finish a dish by myself. High Mark's for presentation of the food and taste. Its poutine something to die for. Definitely going there again should I visit Picton again.

This is legit the best burger and fries in the region. Had the Acoustic Jam with bacon. It was juicy, flavourful, and filling. Fries were delicious as well. Cooked to perfection! It's hidden off the main road, but not to difficult to find.

2021 Edit - The veggie burger is even better than I remembered :) 2020 Original Review - Ordered the veggie burger with side poutine - props for having a veg-friendly gravy, it's rare to find so I always order it when I do. The meal was absolutely massive. Still found a way to eat the whole damn thing but that was easy when it was so delicious. Good service, good selection of drinks too. One single complaint is that everything from cutlery to cups was single use. This was very likely a result of the coronavirus pandemic so I understand, but hopefully it's a temporary solution.

Really enjoyed my lunch here yesterday. The server was really upbeat & positive and even gave me tips on the local beaches. They also had (free) gluten free buns for the burgers which was a plus. Would visit again ????

Amazing service, incredible food, great atmosphere! My husband had a blue cheese burger and I had the hot honey chicken sandwich. Our food arrived hot and delicious and the vegan gravy didn’t disappoint. We look forward to returning when The Purtelle’s can welcome live music back again. Jenny is a invaluable resource if you have questions about your visit to The County- she drew us maps and made great suggestions about the best places to visit. If you like to support local Family businesses- the Acoustic Grill shouldn’t be missed. They have persevered through the Pandemic while supporting their Community and fellow industry businesses. Great hidden spot in Picton. Good vibe, Good service, good food, and good selection of local drinks. Will definitely stop back in. Has one of the burgers- try one! Super tasty, good size, cooked well. I was more impressed than I thought I would be honestly. We’ve ate at a few places in the area and this is the only place I would return too. On a side note, give that Josh guy a raise. He’s such a great worker, can multi task like no other and keeps a smile on his face while helping out other employees!

Honestly one of the best places to eat in Picton. Not only was it open on a Tuesday night (hard thing to find in the area) but it was more cost effective than other burger joints and it was SO delicious. I ordered the black bean veggie burger with a side salad. The salad is ACTUALLY a salad with actual vegetables and the portion is large compared to the doinky salads other places give. The burger was so mouth watering- definitely top 5 veggie burgers I’ve had even in Toronto. The only feedback is they used way too much dressing (a puddle formed on the bottom which prevented me from devouring it all). The service is also top notch and our server was really nice! I actually feel full without having to spend a million tourist dollars. Thank you!!

Owner/manager was beyond pleasant and accommodating! Very busy night and they did impeccably. The food was terrific I’m always a fan of the burger. Our waitress was a bit on edge potentially because of the busyness of the night not sure.

Had a great supper. Everyone in our party ordered different meals and all were enjoyed. Prices were very reasonable. Not a wide choice but we were all able to find something we all wanted. Still no live music but look forward to when it returns.

I don't think I've ever been given a portion of french fries that was bigger... the fried chicken sandwich I had was pretty tasty too. The corned beef sandwich my mom had was enormous and also delicious, as luckily it was too big for her to finish, so I got to. Noce variety on the cocktail menu too.

This a great little place just off the main street in Picton. Service was excellent, friendly and efficient. The food was good and I believe that they have live music at certain times, but not when we were there. Certainly would be a return visit.

This is how a restaurant should be. The menu was small and focused but not restrictive, the service was outstanding from the hostess and the waitress, and the food was delicious. Our server recommended the hot honey chicken sandwich, it was excellent. Not too spicy, but still had full flavour. Chicken was crispy. Perfect. Five stars all around

I have been to Acoustic Grill a few times before covid. Their chicken wings were stellar especially the butter parmemsan flavor!! The wings were crispy and perfectly seasoned. However, the poutine was disappointing. It was cold and the cheese curbs were not melty. I suspect the gravy wasn't hot when they assembled the poutine. They have properly socially distanced tables in and outside but i don't like how they replaced all the cups, plates and cutlery with disposable ones... i can understand the reason behind it but It is definitely not environmentally conscious.
