The lady in the club house was very unpleasant to deal with. Totally disrespectful how she conducted her self. We will not be back. Our first time there. But unfortunately we will take our business elsewhere. People do not need to be spoken to like that. Just for a little Tuesday quiet golf time with my wife.

Beautiful course and exceptionally friendly and helpful staff. Keep your tee shots straight cause man those woods will eat up your balls. The steps to tee block on #9 is a bit of a challenge for those with limited mobility. Glad we made this course part of our vacation week.

I love this golf course! I started golfing there approximately 6 years ago and I just love it. Very relaxed environment, lovely owners and staff, including Chance the golden retriever! It is very much an underated golf course. Even after 6 years, I still find it challenging. The grounds are absolutely superb and outstandingly taken care of. I keep telling Dennis to work on his "cup cutter" skills because my ball just won't go in at once!! We have a lot of fun there. The Mulligan Grill is a nice spot to end a game of golf. The food is prepared with a lot of care and is always super delicious! This is definitely my favorite spot!

The course was in great shape and excellent value for the money. Nice clubhouse, very clean washrooms and good signage on the course. Will enjoy a 2nd round there now we know the layout.

A shorter 9-hole course however needs to be played with careful strategizing. Owners, Joan and Dennis, are very welcoming and the food is delicious! As with many of the courses in this area, Blue Heron has suffered from the extreme freezing and thaws of this past winter and is in the process of recovering. A beautiful course with lots of wildlife to see as you play a round.

Through the challenges of recent power failures and tree fallings the course is in wonderful shape as are the friends who showed up yesterday and enjoyed it. Well done Dennis and Joan!

This course is a nice "cottage course". I have to disagree with John from Ottawa, it isn't comparable to any high end courses in Ottawa. Greensmere, Loch March, Marshes, Stitsville and Emerald links are 10 times better greens and courses to name a few. The green's are in good shape but very small. Fairways were decent and the tee boxes were below average. It is a very short course! Purely ratting the course 3 stars not worth the drive from Ottawa. It is a great course for kids, beginners, and families. As far as staff goes 5 star! Very friendly and personable and went out of there way to ensure we enjoyed it. I don't want to give the course a bad rap very nice and staff are really great just from someone who golf's 2 to 3 times a week this course wouldn't be a top pick for me.

This is a really fun and picturiest and should be on your list to visit. The owners are very friendly and accomodating and make the best fries in the area. You will not be disappointed.

A really nice 9 hole course. Staff were friendly and polite, the course is rolling and challenging. If you tend to go into the rough, be prepared to bring an extra sleeve of balls.

A course for golfers that want an enjoyable day . This is a short course that is in great shape. The staff is fantastic with care give to each golfer. The meals are quite tasty at a good price. A great course for your short game. This course is well worth the drive.

I love this golf course. The owners put their heart and soul into every detail. The location is beautiful with natural streams and ponds running through it. The greens are always in good shape as is the rest of the course. The homemade food is marvelous and they even offer local beer to go with it.

We have been golfing there sporadically for about 8 years. However, two years ago we tried to play a game, but were literally chased off the course by deer flies. Disappointing to pay and not be able to play because of that. We did not return last year, and went back yesterday for the first time. The course is in really good shape, and we did enjoy it...however, deer flies and horse flies continue to be a problem at certain holes..i think we will return in the early fall...i think they would do well to adopt some measures at holes for minimizing the deer flies and horseflies...we have been at other golf courses that have...

A real gem of a short course nestled in nature! Well maintained. Interesting natural features. Very friendly staff. We walked this course late in the afternoon and were treated to a display of young foxes sunning themselves on the second green. Upon spotting us in the distance, they went about their business, and so did we. Unforgettable!

Blue Heron is a lovely golf course. Beautifully maintained, picturesque and the owners are very welcoming. Lovely screened deck to enjoy a cool refreshment and meal after the game. On a recent hot day, we were given frozen face clothes to keep cool with!!!

We just moved to the area. Iam not that great of a golfer but I enjoy trying. For my husband's birthday we choose this golf course The golf course was fine The staff were very rude this making our golf game not as enjoyable When we arrived there was a lady outside smoking and was very friendly ( thought the employee would be as amazing as everyone who we have ment sence we move in March.) But when we went inside not so much and the lady that was cleaning our cart was even more rude then the young lady behind the counter

I have golfed at the course five times this year and my daughter is a youth member. Under new ownership the greens and fairways are in amazing shape, better than some higher end courses in Ottawa. I saw the last comment with a 2 star rating and I have a hard time believing it is authentic. We are lucky that Meng and Sally have taken over this course and are doing such an amazing job. I am very impressed by their dedication and customer service, every employee is respectful and helpful.
