Really saddened to read all the bad reviews. I used to come here at one back in the days more often when there were regulars (old-timers) I was was there not too long ago only when a friend of mine a musician did a LIVE outdoor performance during the pandemic and then went home. What has happened to CLUB 717? Why are the reviews so bad? We need a newsletter sent out with an explanation for those of us that -- that still keep up on CLUB 717 for many years. What you say?

Highly recommend Club 717 as a great alternative to going downtown Toronto. It's a cozy positive safe space great for socializing with friends and enjoying the entertainment. I always have a great experience when I go. The staff are friendly, the drinks are cheap and its a great way support the local community.

A one star only because, unfortunately, this once beloved club is no longer a safe place for our LGBTQ+ community. After learning of some very distressing news of what has gone on there, and how it was handled, I will not be returning as a performer or patron until changes have been made to ensure the safety of those who walk through their doors. Club 717- you CAN do a lot better!! And I hope you do.

This is no longer a safe space. Ever since predators have been allowed to assault community members and then still allowed to attend the club and maintain their membership. So very sad!

I can say that these 1 stars are valid, because... I was the network administrator for this garbage and they used me, stole my server hardware and never paid me for the labour to install their full high-end network for their staff and patrons. They even once asked me to start testing out cameras for streams and for safety, and once they started going up to test locations and streaming capabilities for performances it suddenly became an issue an my access started getting revoked without even proper channels. Oh yeah they even stole my ASUS XONAR DX2 audio card for computers without even asking if they could have it just fired me without notice stole my hardware and tools and server not even a penny given to me for like $2000 in work + computer hardware and had the police ban me from the premises so that I couldn't get my stuff. P.S. I have disabilities and I have a special screwdriver that I need to use every time that I work on computers and that's the one they stole from me. Do not go here but do inquire with me if you're needing help with home office or small business Network infrastructure installation or maintenance.

Was a cool place! The DJ played great songs and had amazing mixes. The drinks are more reasonably priced than other "GTA" clubs we have been to. We will definitely be back
