Went to here for a hockey tournament. I've been to many hockey complexes and I rate this one about average. Negatives: black mesh surrounding the ice rinks is difficult to see through, upstairs washrooms awkward to access, annoying symbols for washrooms instead of actually writing MEN and WOMEN. Positives: rock climbing in the lobby, there is a nice mini-sticks rink upstairs to occupy smaller children.

Always canceling events like public skates and rock climbing due to people not showing up or forgetting to schedule peoe in for the events. Constant disappointment when you call ahead to find out the schedules and when events are running to bring the kids all pumped up to be massively disappointed. They blame the city of Orillia for not updating (quote: their crappy website that they never get right) even though it's the rotary place that schedules the people and events... No ownership for their mistakes and frustrated families. Their Facebook page was riddled with bad reviews for this and some of the people that work their and have city of Orillia emails are cowards and send out a person under 19 to talk to you instead of trying to deal with the problem that's constantly being a message for back and forth conversations. That is not deligation..... That's being a coward and not taking ownership for the problems. Skip this place and find somewhere else to go to prevent massive disappointments.

The outdoor area is a beautiful place to walk around and enjoy. I sat under a shady tree and played my Dizzy Gillespie Trumpet. The response was wonderful and many people were thrilled to to be serenaded while waiting for their Covid vaccine.

A state of the art dual pad arena in the furthest most West part of Orillia. Located close to Lakehead University this facility offers meeting rooms, a snack bar, a mini-sticks arena, rock climbing wall and two regulation sized ice pads for hockey, figure skating and family skates. The outside is equipped with tennis courts and a top of the line field turf playing field for soccer, football, rugby or field lacrosse. This complex is among some of the top sports complexes in the surrounding area and offers every program from kids clubs on March break and in the summer to ballroom dance lessons for adults from beginners to advanced.

I was here for the cottage County comic con but the place was very well maintained and looked amazing the lay out makes ridiculously easy to get around and I have heard good things about the building, they seem to have a problem with keeping plans though as the comic con was shut down an hour early and a hear a lot about how they will drop the ball on planned events, I can only speak about the hour early for the comic con but if I hear about it a lot and the first and only time I when the also dropped the ball I feel this is something they will need to improve.

It's a great place for sports. It's temporarily closed for indoor sports. There are various kinds of fields outside. There's a playground and a loop trail too. Public washroom, lots of parking. It's next to Lakehead University, across from police station. It's 2 minutes to highway 11. It's close to Costco with gas station.

Went to see the Orillia Kings play lacrosse. Very cool building. Have to say I do like the small mini sticks/lacrosse rink on the second floor for the little kids. ????

This is a really good place to get your COVID shot, I may have been lucky but never waited at all. Also, both times the needlework (lol) was very painless, compared to other experiences I've heard. Noticed a lot of very nice volunteers and older folks helping things move along. They were all super nice and quite efficient moving folks through the process.

Rotary place is a beautiful center! With two pads and lots of our door fields you can play pretty much any sport from this location! Even has a rock climbing wall! Complex has some great features, aside from the clean washrooms and changerooms, they have a small charging station for your device and a indoor mini rink for the kids to play mini sticks or lax where they are safe and out of the way! Lots of seating and easy to navigate. The booth is awesome. Price point in comparable to other such venues. Good variety and clean large area. The staff even wear adorable referees shirts! Downside, they need to offer free Wi-Fi or post the password. Most places have that at this point and a location of this caliber should get on board!

I really enjoy this complex for several reasons. My son and daughter have both played here on the 2 ice surfaces, and my son has also had a few lacrosse games outside on the turf field. The mini indoor rink on the upper level is great for keeping the little kids busy during games. The snack bar is full service and there is also a great skate sharpening centre onsite. We've been coming here since it opened and we still have a few years left.

The fields are well maintained and unbelievably green for this summer! There is not a lot of parking though. We went to see a field lacrosse tournament and struggled to find parking. If you go to the entrance beyond the main entrance (off of Old Barrie Rd) you will have better success for busy times.

A great facility with 2 ice pads. The rinks have stadium seating for a better view. The facility was clean and clear of any rubbish. The washroom facilities need work with the toilets overflowing and a strong smell of feces. The parking lot was less than ideal with an awkward layout and congestion due to a tournament.

This is a new, well designed facility with great viewing, great seating, and 2 nice rinks. The foyer is large and welcoming. There are also several neat features including a rock climbing wall, mini-sticks mini-rinks, and several large multipurpose rooms. We attended for the Eastern Canada Youth Wrestling Championships and the facility looked great and made for a memorable tournament.

We were here today for the Covid-19 test. It wasn't crowded and the attendants and front line workers were excellent and thourough. we were in and out within 10 minutes. Results in 2-3 days. We were drop ins ,however you will need to make an appointment for a test as Google has not corrected this information as yet. NO Walk ins at this time. November 18,2020

Such a great recreation center. They have two huge skating rink and tons of programs that run in there. My daughter is currently in a toddlers soccer program that is held at the rotary place. Such a great place to bring my children and even fun for adults too. The free skate is fun

It was another fantastic girls birthday party this year the staff are fantastic, friendly, helpful and doesn't break the pocket book either. 2 hrs of wall climbing 2 hrs of large room upstairs,a little hockey place upstairs for the little tikes they give lunch a real beautiful cake made of cupcakes so easy to dish out what more could a person ask best place ever to hold a child's party but it would be nice if they took debit rather than cash only. So if you are ever in need of a child's party place this is the spot to go

Actually went there for covid testing. This test center is great. You book online and you get confirmation back within 10 minutes. Never a lineup, (I have been going often to visit LTC) and I'm in and out in 3 minutes. The greeter at the entrance is always pleasant as well!
