Was very impressed with the quality of course conditions. Similar course in the GTA would cost up to $100 w/cart. Definitely worth the drive if your looking for some challenging golf on well kept fairways and true greens. Timber Ridge has a lot of undulating greens and you need to consider the risk/reward for taking out the Driver vs. laying up and keeping your ball in play on several holes. Any shots that land outside the fairway will often find trouble (you won't likely find your ball) on many holes. The Meadows track is a bit longer, but poses similar challenges, though the greens were not as undulating.

Played the Timber Ridge course today at Hawkridge this morning. Weather was awesome and the course is in really good shape. The only problem and it wasn't a major one, was that a few greens had some minor winter kill on them but that's not the course's fault, but I'm pretty sure they are trying to rectify the problem. Well worth the effort if you want to play a good golf course in Orillia area. All the employees we interacted with today (starters, rangers, pro shop and cart attendants we're very pleasant and polite. A day well spent. Way to go guys and gals.

This course has gone from being one the better clubs around to being one of the worst. Greens are not cut and do not roll well. Tee blocks are uneven and torn up, range not open unless you have a tee time and no beverage carts. Spend your money at another course, not somewhere that doesn't appreciate your patronage.

Hawk Ridge - Timber Ridge track gets all 5 stars. Design is perfect, fairways in impeccable condition, beautiful Par 3s and some beastly narrow par 4s and 5s lined with bunkers, hills and feskew. Had a blast, guys, will be back for the Meadows!

Hawk Ridge's Timber Ridge is my new favourite course. Not too tight off the tee, I hate searching for my balls lol. Most of the challenge is around the greens. Very pretty course that is in great condition. The only thing is that the name is confusing as there is a Timber Ridge GC in Brighten which is also a great course.

We played the Hawk Ridge GC on Monday September 21st. The day started off with a 45 minute frost delay before our tee off on the Timber Ridge course. Our group had an UnderPar coupon and there was a disagreement in the pro shop as to why the course was not providing a cart for both golfers that were not in the same bubble. Despite the fact that we had played the course in July and they did honour carts for both golfers their decision to charge for a second cart in September did not go over well. Further they apparently were not willing to provide a cart for a replay round; a condition not noted on the certificate. We were surprised that the cost to play was $80 for those without an UnderPar coupon. We typically play the Meadow Nest course a couple of times or more each year while staying at our timeshare in the area. Last year we just barely got our rounds in as both courses were shut down due to damage to the greens. Timer Ridge was a change of pace as we could not get a tee time on Meadow Nest. The course off the whites is 5,708 yards with a slope of 127. We found the layout reasonably fair with a mix of tough and easier holes. The wind certainly was a factor as we got into the back nine. The course is scenic and generally in good shape although a few greens seemed to be a little below average - probably still recovering from last years issues. The staff on the course were extremely friendly although it seemed like we were constantly running into them cutting the tee areas or pulling balls from the ponds. On a few occasions like hitting into the 8th hole par 3 the staff seemed to be oblivious to our group teeing off which makes one a little uneasy. Using the UnderPar coupon the consensus of our group is that is was a pretty good deal but at $80 overpriced. This has been a very strange year for golf. Because of the virus demand has been much higher and prices on some courses have reflected this.

The wedding reception we attended at Hawkridge was impeccable. The bride and groom were so happy with how everything turned out. The events coordinator worked overtime to make sure everything went perfectly according to plan and the night went smoothly and comfortably for everyone there. The grounds are very well maintained and made for beautiful photos, the bar and function room was elegant and malleable to desired tastes, and we no issues with multimedia which was up to date and easily usable. I can highly recommend Hawridge as a function location

I live nearby and play with my friend. It frustrates me that we both have to pay for a cart when one is a passenger. I always remember it as both players would contribute to the 1 cart. Seems like a money grab as we are renting the cart. Not the seat to sit on it. Please have management address this as your staff seem very adament upon this. Change this and ill change to a 5 star

This was by far the biggest RIP off in town. 75 dollars/18 holes. Noisy carts, un professional greens. No beverage attendant to serve the course. Cart trails kicked up a cloud of dust while driving the cart, which also stopped working on the 13'th hole unless I drove in reverse?. And employees playing a round behind my foursome waiting expectantly while my foursome played?. I won't be back. Thanks and good luck.

Had a great time playing here. Challenging but still fun for everyday golfer. Went here during a long dry spell and greens were in amazing shape. Very well kept. Staff is also great! Unload your clubs right from your car for you and load onto cart while you go and pay. Definitely worth a round if you haven't played here before.

Just arrived for our tee time. Was quoted $108 for a twosome when we booked May 31/20. Was told now the price is $150. Apparently price went up June 1. However no one informed us of the price increase. Nor would management honor our original price. Very disappointing. Will not be playing at Hawkridge anytime soon!

The course is in pretty good shape. The spacing of the tee times is good as we were not held up in front and stayed ahead of the group behind. Price was reasonable. Starter was very friendly. They did not have a cart person out on the course, (COVID they say), but other courses do so not sure why.

I am so happy that we picked Hawk Ridge as our wedding venue. The grounds and the building are absolutely beautiful. Kandas and her team were amazing to work with. Kandas made sure every last detail was perfect and how we wanted, and were very accommodating to the requests we had. The staff were all amazing on the day of, I received a lot of compliments from our guests. I was also extremely impressed with how delicious the meal was! If you are considering booking your wedding here, I highly recommend it.

We were there for a 4oclock tee time, Twilight starts at 4. We did not not get charged twilight rate and at first they staff refused to give us a refund. After more lengthy discussions they tried to refund but the computer was not working (conveniently) Worst customer service I have ever encountered, There is no way that course even comes close to the$80 they are charging. So many courses in the area for a better value. First and Last time I will golf there.

Course was in great shape even after 2 days of strong rain, I ended up injuring my shoulder and even though Covid-19 is an on going issue in the world they sent out Steve from the pro shop to come and get me and take me to my car since I could not walk with my bag on my injured shoulder. Played Hawk Ridge for the first time. The meadow nest course is nice. Bunkers are raked and in play. Staff were nice and offered a cooler bag for beverages to keep cool. I'm excited to try the other 18 hole course here.
