While in Orillia we were walking the main street to decide in what restaurant to eat. Fionn’s is on that main street and it had live music on their outdoor patio. The band sounded as so much fun that we decided to come here for dinner. We are glad we did! They have a beautiful outdoor patio on the front with view to the Main Street and the people walking by. Our server, Heidi, was very attentive and sweet. The band was outstanding. Nice mix of music. Their singer, Charlotte, is full of life and has an interesting style of singing. Their menu is extensive, and mainly pub food. Everything we ordered was delicious. The mini Yorkshire pudding was an appetizer and they were different and tasty. They had broccolini on the menu, so we ordered it as a side dish. It was prepared in a great way: lightly grilled in olive oil. The shepherds pie is a small portion, yet it was filling, and we ordered it with a side salad. Very tasty pie!!!! For dessert we ordered sticky pudding and it was a large portion and delicious. It comes with a scoop of ice cream.

Waited too long to get seated. Got seated and waited for 15 minutes, no one came to see us. Place wasn't even busy. Walked out. Very disappointed. No one at front even acknowledged us when we walked out! Poor poor customer service!! Would not even rate one star!! Shame on your staff. If I was owner I would fire all of them.

This was our first time sitting on the patio. Great service and food. Our server was Taylor and she was fabulous! She recommended the guiness and steak pie. So good. My son got the blarney burger and it was so big. Definitely enjoyed Taylor's service.

Needless to say we walked out without anyone noticing...???????? This place was good the first two or three times we came but every time after has definitely gone down hill!!

Usually an awesome spot in other cities but not here. Should have know as everybotyer restaurant had wait lists. And we are still looking at dirty dishes even after paying the bill.

I originally gave this place a two stars after a less than stellar double date, but after giving it a few more chance the food improved dramatically. The bartender (Carly, I believe) is amazing, all the servers are welcoming and the atmosphere is very pub like which is nice. The view from their outdoor patio is always very nice.

First few times I ordered it was great food however last few times I ordered the lobster shrimp roll I've been nothing but disappointed portions getting smaller and smaller and full of juice and pepper is incredibly overpowering I'd stay clear

Our family always enjoys a visit to this restaurant. Food, service and atmosphere always great. I like that they do paper straws instead of plastic and have some gluten free options. We've only been regulars since discovering Fionn Maccool's Orillia location this fall/winter but I'm looking very forward to sitting out on that patio come summer!

Got there at 12:30pm for lunch. After 10mins finally askes if we wanted a drink. We ordered 4 got 3, finally went to the bar to get the fourth . Waited another 30 min to have our order taken. After 40 mind I questioned where the food was, was told another 2 min after 10 went to ask again. Food finally came 10 mind later, but 1 meal was missing. After 10 mind asked about it, waitress/hostess said, "Oh didn't I bring that?". When and got my friends now cold lunch. Another couple gave up waiting and left, their food came about 25 mins later. It took the staff almost an hour to notice they had left. We were told they were short staffed as 2 people had called in sick. I feel for you not fun when you are short staffed, but there were 3 waitresses a half full patio and 4 tables in the restaurant, not exactly slammed. The waitress/hostess after bringing the cold lunch said she was sorry and would pick up the tab which was really nice and we appreciated it. I honestly don't think the wait staff was the issue it seemed to us there was a major kitchen issue, saw one of the cooks storm out and not return while we were there. The food wasn't too bad just way too long if a wait. Don't expect lunch to take over 2 hrs. Hope someone looks into this before summer actually starts and they will actually be busy.

Went for lunch on a Tuesday afternoon. Right away we were told that it would be a 15 minute wait before they could take our order because the kitchen was 'swamped', with the presumptuous tone that we would leave. Which is fine even though it was not busy at all. We asked if we could still get drinks while we waited and she said that was fine. Then we asked if we could sit on the patio to which she answered "yeah but it will be in the sun", which seems like a pretty obvious thing for a patio. When she sat us we realized that she didn't leave us any menus. When our server finally came we asked if we could get menus and she repeated the same, we can't take orders schpiel that the hostess gave us. We said that was fine but we would like to see the menus and she said she would have to ask. So bizzare. So she went to ask. When she didn't come back after about 10 minutes we asked another server who said she would bring us our server. Our server came back and brought the hostess who started to explain again that they can't take our order. So we explained we just wanted to see what they serve and finnally they brought us some menus to just to look at. The prices were outrageous and the food that we could see coming out of the kitchen looked mediocre at best. So we paid for our drinks and left. I have never had to fight so hard just to see a menu and we didn't even get to order food and the service was still terrible. There are plenty of bars in Orillia I recommend anywhere but Fionns.

Good friendly service, went in for afternoon shopping snack, found menu a bit pricier then expected, had sweet potato fries and friend had onion rings and beer. Food was good and if had enough money at time, would have tried main dishes. Parking is limited and awkward, either on another lot or on street. Probably gets very busy at nite with "bar hoppers".

Completely uninspired food. Every item for our table of four showed zero love in conception, preparation, and presentation. Patio is nice, and no complaints about the service, but no amount of sunshine and friendliness makes up for a lousy kitchen. Won't be back.

A good example of UNhospitality:( We were at the restaurant with 6 kids and 3 adults. It took 1,5 hours for the food to be served. The kids were starving. Hamburgers and fish chips were partly raw or burnt, others were not tasty. The manager was rude and not helpful. It took another half an hour to receive the bill after asking for. Our young waitress with mermaid hair was doing her best, very helpful but not supported with good management and mentorship. We left the restaurant with hunger and frustration.

I have not had great experiences at this place to date but when my wife and I were unable to get a place at another restaurant we were glad we gave Fionn's another chance. While historically the food has been inconsistent and the service less than stellar it was completely different today. Seems like something has changed with both service and the food. Will definitely be going back.

Ordered a poutine as a starter to share. Took about 30 mins to arrive. When it arrived I noticed there was very few fries. On the up side there was a lot of gravy and curds. Again on the down side curds were so cold, they cooled the fries and gravy before two of us could eat it. The main I ordered was the reuban sandwich, with tortilla and guacamole. It arrived about 20 mins after the poutine. The sandwich was very good aside from the crust being rock hard. It came with potato chips and no guacamole. The server brought guacamole about 5 minutes later. The server never asked about the food or the service. We paid and left.

Reservations were made for a large group, when we got there nothing was set up in advance. The spot was bit crowded. Right near the entrance. We waited a very long time to get drinks, and water. ..Then, the waitress spilled a full tray of glasses of water on 2 of us ! It was very cold and went in another girls purse. He phone and stuff was soaked! Those 2 ladies should have been given a free meal! I ordered a Cobb salad, it was ok, except for the dried out 'chicken' in it.

Went for lunch Sunday. Ordered fish tacos they were good and my husband ordered the beef sandwich which he also enjoyed. They were playing live music, they were actually very good singers. Enjoyed and I recommend this place.

Pro: clean, Guinness is good, when food is good its very tasty Cons: ordered deep fried calamari rings and they were soggy and gross tasting (yes I've had calamari before, yes i like seafood) also Had an odor to them that didn't smell fresh. Waitress was polite but when asked how everything was. We said we didn't like the calamari. I think it came off like we just didn't like it in general because we didn't want to be rude about it but nope, being totally honost they just were gross in a soggy unfresh seafood way. Near the end when she was taking our plates she must of noticed that plate of calimari was still full(i think we a few bites each) because she asked my wife that she didnt like the calamari at all. We both said no we didn't . I thought maybe she would take it off our bill as most places would if you send back a 90% full plate of food Only poor rating because why ask if we like the food twice if nothing is going to be done about it? It just makes it seem like an empty gesture. So that's it, 1/4 plates we ordered was gross tasting. Other than that the food was Good. Would rather have food and drink up the Street.

Went for lunch with family and friends a week ago and it was like it was their first day. The host wouldn’t let us sit or get a drink at the bar even though the place was empty because the kitchen was backed up. Eventually he sat us at a table on the patio in the shade but refused to give us menus until the kitchen was okay. Our server also didn’t come and 30 minutes went by before she came to offer us a drink and greet us. We got cold and wanted to move to the sun, we saw two tables available but decided to wait and let the server know. She refused to let us move tables and after asking her manager, came back and said the manager insisted we stay put, even if we were cold. We were given endless excuses about why we couldn’t move in a very condescending tone. We were even told the tables were reserved but we watched the tables next to us in the shade move there. My sister is lactose intolerant and ordered a salad, they brought a bowl of leaves with nothing, not even dressing. The dressing was delivered by the time we were all done. I will never go back and I highly recommend you don’t go.

Not one to do reviews, but not a great experience. My wife ordered Shepards pie and salad with ranch dressing. Shepards pie had a burnt taste and the salad came with balsamic dressing. Waitress did offer to replace, but my wife said she would do without the Shepards pie and just eat the salad. I had fish and chips and it was okay. Waitress came over and said the manager told her to give us a coupon for a free apitizer for our next visit. We were surprised when we got our bill and we're still charged full price for the Shepards pie we had returned. Not cool. We paid our bill without a seen and left. Left the coupon on the table when we left.

Great atmosphere, friendly staff. So many great options on the menu. My favourite would be all of the desserts. If you are looking for a large selection of draft beers or to try something new then this is your place. So happy to have something different and new in Orillia for dining.

We ordered from them through Skip the Dishes. Sheppard's pie was a runny stew with mashed potatoes squirted on top out what seemed to be a piping bag, and only the equivalent of about 1 cups worth, chicken fingers and fries were rubbery and cold, and they completely forgot my blarney chicken and fries. Worst experience ever, I will never order from here again. I am now ordering pizza and it will likely be better as they have never screwed up an order and take pride in their food.

Good location near the lake with lots of parking nearby, and the menus is extensive. Prices are very reasonable. Food was good, and the service was fine. We may have caught them on a bad day. The server screwed up and added an extra entre to our bill. I paid before really checking, and when we caught the error and pointed it out, the manager on duty refused to correct the bill, saying she had no authority to provide a refund, and offering us instead a gift card for the value of the extra meal. We insisted on a refund and after much hassle finally got it, but this was an excellent example of "snatching defeat from the jaws of victory". Left us with a very unfavourable perception of this otherwise good restaurant.

Had the thick cut calamary to start, was Delicious! Then a lobster roll with sweet potato fries, best sweet potato fries I've had, then had the sticky toffee pudding. The pudding was good but very sweet and ths portion was huge, if the white icing or custard wasn't there it wouldn't have veen so sweet and could have probably eaten more. All in all good food, the wait staff was very slow at the beginning and in the middle but got better at the end when another waitress took charge over the original waitress.

This is a great place to hangout or have a nice family dinner. The staff are super friendly and even when super busy try their hardest to meet your needs. The food is amazing. Service is good. Sadly my steak and fries with broccolini not so hot. Asked for rare, got medium. Broccolini was raw, then grilled, which resulted in a sensation and flavor of chewing on burnt tree branches. I rarely complain and I ate everything (super hungry) with the exception of the trees, but did mention it in the hopes that they steam the veggies in future. Server kindly offered a side of my choice. Mashed potatoes and gravy is what I was hankering for despite the carb load of fries I had already consumed. Sadly, dirty mashed potatoes, with skins throughout served in a bowl keeping them on the molten lava hot side, burning my tongue on the first bite. I have been here many times before and enjoyed myself and my food very much. And will still come back but clearly tonight just wasn't my night.

I have never been in the restaurant (I ordered from skip) so this review is entirely based off the food. The food is very disappointing, I got the chicken wings and the Sheperd's pie and both were extremely disappointing. The wings were dry and flavorless and the pie had a weird taste that I could not get passed. I will never stop in or order their food again

the basic club sandwich had chicken that was so overcooked and dry that it stuck to my teeth and was difficult to eat. More importantly, it contained a 3 inch bone that almost broke my tooth. Not a good lunch. Stay away or chew carefully.

Went on a Friday night at 6pm. There were approx 4 tables of patrons on the balcony and only 2 other tables with people inside the restaurant. We were seated right away and given menus. It took us quite awhile to review the menu. When no one came to offer drinks or even water I checked the time. We had already been waiting at least 10 minutes. There appeared to be a lot of staff rushing around but not really doing anything. Many walked by our table several time as we were two tables away from the entrance. After another 17 minutes with no service (no one even approached with any reasonable excuse) we left. Giving the restaurant a 1 star as the menu selection looked good. After taking with friends and looking online it appears that your food is good but service is HORRIBLE. Will not return and will not recommend.

Unfortunately, this was one of the worst restaurant experiences I've had. I had been to Fionn MacCool's twice before for drinks with my friends. In that capacity, this restaurant does exceed my expectations. There is a moderately large amount of beers on tap and daily specials for pints. The bartenders also pour Guinness properly (I do suppose they are an Irish pub for a reason!). When I returned to try their food, however, I was sorely disappointed. I came to the restaurant with my girlfriend to see if their cooking matched their bartending. I ordered the Chicken Pie with a side of French Fries, and my girlfriend ordered the Shepherd's Pie with the Market Green Salad. Both dishes tasted like frozen food, for lack of a better description. The Chicken Pie tasted like an overpriced Swanson Meat Pie that you could buy at any grocery store. Arguably, the Shepherd's Pie was even worse. For an Irish restaurant, I was surprised that two of their "Irish Favourites" were so poor! My girlfriend enjoyed the salad, stating that it was by far the best part of both our meals. For the price of the meal ($14.95), I was thoroughly unimpressed with both the portions and taste of each dish. I can't say I've ever been to a restaurant that failed to provide adequate pubfare of all things! The saving grace of the evening was the fact that a 14 oz Steam Whistle was only $4.95! Overall, I would recommend that those who go to Fionn MacCool's stick to the drink menu - it seems to be what they excel at!

Spiders all over the patio they do a very poor job of cleaning the area where customers would be present. Lots of mosquitos after dark being so close to the lake. Also closes early all the time allegedly due to "short staff" but the small number of tables seems to have adequate staffing. Maybe the manager just wants to go home or theyre just really tight on schedualing. Either way it was overall unclean. 5 minutes with a broom and some rags makes a big difference management needs to step up and deal with such things if there is such little time for staff to clean. Update: been months now, filled out the online form as requested by the restaurant and heard nothing back. ????

Went for dinner with some friends. We placed a drink order and waited for our beers. When we tried to order some different meals to share but we were told the food wasn't available and there seemed to be some confusion about what wasn't coming out of the kitchen. Our beers were delivered by another waitress after about 20 minutes. Our waitress never came back with the news from the kitchen. We never placed a food order but we overhead our neighbors at another table having difficulty understanding if there was any food in the kitchen at all. We ordered Pizzaville and picked it up on the way home. Yikes. I'll be back but not likely until the kitchen gets sorted out. Patio was nice, waitresses were nice, nice lights, clean bathroom, but the restaurant needs practice.

I don't like giving bad reviews. Positives: atmosphere was good and the food was pretty good. Big negative: service wasn't virtually non-existent. We waited over 5 minutes after we were seated for our server to make an appearance. We placed our drink and appetizer order. She brought drinks and took our order. She brought 2 more drinks and the bill. Grand total of 5 appearances which, for a two course meal is unacceptable. She didn't bring our food and nobody checked on us during dinner accept when we needed refills. Not sure if I'll go back.

Went for patio lunch and seated in the shade. It was cold and tables were available. When we asked to be moved the server said we couldn’t move because it was inconvenient for her. She than said her manager said no and there was people waiting. In this time two other tables were reseated. She came back and said that she was incorrect but next time we should ask to sit in the sun. So we were cold in the shade. I mentioned that I’m sorry it was inconvenient to her but were the customers and what about customer experience. We had to remain where we were seated. Food came for everyone but me. I waited 15 minutes for my food when the rest of my table had theirs. Except for my husband who got a burger with no fries and my friend got a salad with no dressing. She could see us getting upset and not once did the manager come address us. Our food was just okay. Service was terrible. Took forever to get refills on drinks. Yes it was may 24 but it was not busy. We will not go back. Can’t wait for studabakers beside it to open! Save your money and go to Studabakers instead!

Just recently re-opened the patio only. Great place to come and settle and share some stories. Food is amazing, fresh, quick, and delicious! I had the house Caesar McCool sized, spinach and artichoke dip for my starter. And also had order Fionn’s Steak bites and mushroom bowl topped with Mcguiness gravy and creamed potatoes! So Ive been waiting a while to check this place out. So me and my friend decided the other day we'd go for lunch. Knowing the resturant has been open for a few months now we figured all the kinks would have been worked out. Upon entering the restaurant we were greated by a very kind server. She brought us to our seats and said she'd be back right away to get our drink order. After ordering our drinks, we took a look at the menu. My mind was blown. I didnt except the prices to be where they were at ($18-$20+) per meal. But we bite the bullet a ordered anyways thinking this foods gotta be amazing. My friend ordered the "Straight Up Burger", and myself ordered the "Chicken Sandwhich". After talking for a while we noticed our food was taking a pretty long time. Our server never came over to aploigize for the wait, never kept us in the loop as to why it was taking so long. And to top it all off the restaurant was dead. There was us and 2 other tables. Eventually we received our food (30-40 min wait). We were both pretty excited to finally eat. Upon our first bit we realized we were not every impressed. My friends burger was burnt, and for the price your paying for a meal I was shocked on the size of the patty and the quality, it looked like nothing more then a crappy frozen burger patty. As for my chicken sandwhich the bun was very tough, it even ended up ripping the inside of my mouth. So I just ate what was inside the bun (half a chicken breast and quick 30 sec bacon). Again shocked at the price I was paying I excepted quality and amazing food. The sever did come check on us. We told her the food was okay. Half way through our meal we were introduced to the manager of the resturant. She asked us how everything was and we were honest. We let her know that we were disappointed in our meals and the time we waited. She deeply apologized for the inconvenience and asked us if we wanted remakes on our food. We kindly declined as we had already waited a long time for our orginal meals. She then said she was going to discount our meals at 50% off. Which was super kinda of her. I truly dont think Ill ever go back based of food, price, and wait times. But I will say the servers there are truly wonderful people as well as the manager we meet that day. I do truly hope they are able to improve the food and service. And maybe one day down the road Ill come back to check it out again. But as for right now. I will not be coming back. Thank you to the server and manager we delt with that day you both seemed like wonderful people. The kitchen though needs to truly work on their stuff. All the best!

My burger arrived hard as a rock and pretty much charcoal you can tell it had been cooked over an hour ago. The waffle fries we're cold... If you're going to charge $17 for a cheeseburger you could at least make sure that it is fresh! Not even necessarily fresh beef you could cook a frozen Burger as long as it's made to order!!! This was a real big disappointment as there was only a couple tables filled in the restaurant and the incompetence of the chef in the back was very clear. I will definitely not be back to this location and can only hope that other locations keep better standards.

I used to frequent this restraunt every Friday night, then the worst hit management change staff changes, out the Ying yang, so we stopped going, had a meeting and conversation with management and explained my experience, a couple months have now passed so we gave them another try and omg, food was spot on, Yorkshire pudding to die for, the Chicken bacon cheese sandwich was absolutely amazing and the wings tender juicy and meaty, and the service the young group they have in this place are interactive, professional, and fast pat on the back ladies and gents, and Kudos to Simon and the team for turning this place around and being a major contender in Orillia, will definitely be going back soon, I now actually crave the food there :)

Tonight was my 3rd time being here and it was brutal (the first two times were okay - so hopefully this is a one off?).. To start we sat ourselves, which I'm not sure if that's normal here or not, because I don't really remember from my first time eating here.. After we had picked our seat we were greeted by a gentleman who let us know our server would be by shortly. When our server came we ordered our drinks. We all got lost in conversation until I realized I was thirsty, I checked the time and realized we had been waiting over 20 minutes for our drinks... all we had ordered was an ice water, diet coke, spanish coffee, and pinot... So the gentleman from earlier had walked by and I explained this to him, seeming mortified he walked off fast to have a chat with her, I assume..... we basically re-ordered our drinks.. Our server was nowhere to be found at this point.. To add - it was not busy in there at all.. Then I had ordered a cobb salad - eventually our server is back and gives us our drinks - but no ice water.. she drops the drinks off abruptly without saying a word to us, clearly flustered (to add to this - my moms spanish coffee had whipped cream on top that was melting over the sides - indicating it was likely sitting there for quite a while).. then shortly after the gentleman drops off my salad... then I realize.. We have no cutlery lol.. so I had let him know that I hadn't gotten my water yet and that I would be in need of some cutlery.. At this point, I'm feeling terrible that I have these endless requests... Needless to say, I barely ate any of my salad - it really wasn't that great and I will probably never go back there.

Hate to say this because no one who lives in Orillia wants to see this venture flop.. but there is a SERIOUS need for some more support from Head Office QUICKLY before this location is written off by the locals who will keep it alive. Execution here has been a huge disappointment. Most of the issues seem to be around the kitchen, with the servers doing their best to accommodate.. but whatever the case, it needs to get fixed immediately. The kitchen has either not spent enough time with veterans from another store, or does not have the space, equipment or leadership they need.. but consistently having to tell patrons that they have to wait to order food (we waited for 45 minutes just to order the first time, and had to leave before we could), or that many items are not available at all, and then when food does come it's a total disappointment or worse, not cooked properly...(food sent back last night and other stuff barely ok) it spells total failure and that would be sad to see. Cara Operations - you need to help out here ASAP!!

Have been to Fionn's a handful of times. Food and drink selection are adequate but it always feels like there is something lacking in terms of customer service, whether it be engaging with customers or giving off a positive vibe. Have had issues almost every time I have been to this venue and/or gotten takeout at this venue. The quality of the food is always excellent, but 2 of 3 times I got takeout from there, they forgot part of my order. Also when I attempted to dine in with my family about 6 months ago, after we were seated, nobody ever came to take our order. Also, the live music was way too loud in the mid-afternoon, so we ended up leaving after eventually running out of patience. All-in-all, I'd come back for the food bugridgingly, considering the customer service has a lot of room for improvement.

Been twice, will not try again. During both visits the wait times were extraordinary long. Sat 15 minutes before someone came to take a drink order and 30 minutes til we received them. Ordered food and then when it finally came it was wrong. However I was told that's what I ordered. Food tasted actually pretty decent but everything else was just so far off it couldn't make up for it.

I went with a party of 4, the staff was very nice, however the food was one of the worst things I have ever experienced. When we received our food (the meat pie), it was so cold, so we sent it back to be warmed up and when it came back it was so burnt it was black and they still served it to us despite the smell and appearance of it being burnt. After we told our server that it was not edible, they only gave us 50% off the meat pie despite it only having ONE bite out of it. Being a young person, I feel as though they took advantage of us not wanting to stand up and demand that we receive it for free, as any other older customer would have demanded it. Would never return to this location. However, I have been to the same restaurant in another location and the food was VERY good!

Other then a great patio this place is a huge thumbs down. I’ve given it three try’s and two of the three experiences were horrible and the other was average. The final straw was when we went for dinner and we were given side plates that had food all over it under a clean plate. I tried to look past this as when I was a Server I don’t think I would Have checked the plates. But it was a huge fail on the dishwashing. We were then brought out wings with no sauce when we ordered medium and nachos that were missing two of the listed ingredients. When we asked about the wings she said apologized and were going to fix it we got ice cold wings that were tossed with sauce that included the bone of the wings we tried.

Severe food poisoning from the chicken and waffles and Yorkshire puddings from eating there last night. The entire household is sick- now encroaching on fever and chills added to the mix. Some serious food inspection needs to happen there. We all have to go on antibiotics at this point.

Visited on a Monday of a long weekend - the patio wasn't full yet we were asked to wait 15 or 20 mins to place our order and were offered a seat and the chance to order a drink. We didn't mind, thinking the kitchen may just be recovering from a big rush, but as we were leaving we heard the same message being communicated to a newly arriving party and the place was definitely NOT busy. Is this a tactic for getting people to order more drinks? It seems like a weak plan if that is the case and only serves to annoy people who do 't have time in their day to wait so long for food. Otherwise the food was mediocre. Also, if you are celiac, beware the gluten free menu as they still cook the fried foods in the flame oil as gluten foods - our naked wings had a huge chunk of fish batter mixed in with them. Service was below par.

My husband and I went to Fionn MacCool's this afternoon and had walked away with smiles on our faces as it was best experience! The staff were very sweet, friendly and welcoming! We had fantastic service and delicious food. The burger my husband says was phenomenal and 10× better than several other restaurants he's been to. The "hold the meat" burger was meatless perfection. The desserts were also incredibly satisfying. We question why we haven't gone more often and plan on several more trips to Fionn MacCool's. Thanks for the wonderful Sunday!

Ordered delivery through skip the dishes, for nearly $19.00 I got a shephard's pie that looks like a cheap TV dinner and is as small as my hand. It's also more like a stew than a Shepard's pie. This portion size is a HUGE disappointment, the least they could have done was actually give me enough mashed potatoes to give it substance. My husband got blarney fingers and fries... They forgot to send his meal completely!! My son got a kids chicken fingers and waffle fries, the fries are cold and soggy and his fingers have a rubbery texture. We order from skip the dishes all the time, we like to try different places quite often. But we won't be ordering from here again.

Came here recently for the first time with my brother and sister-in-law for dinner. We ordered Nachos to start and I ordered Fionn's Power Bowl for my main dish. What a disappointment. The nachos were sloppy, burnt and had little cheese. They tasted like they came out of an oven with burnt-on food on the bottom of it. We were all disappointed but hate wasting food and so failed to send them back. My Power Bowl furthered my disappointment because it was not properly cooked. The vegetables were hard and raw which made it quite unenjoyable to eat. Not impressed. Multiple wait staff personnel stood around talking and loitering while my table was trying to eat and enjoy our evening. Severely disappointed, will not return.

Food was really good. Portions for some of the meals are on the lighter side. Top 40 music played with a decent sound system throughout the dining area. Fairly large selection of beverages ( exception for anything requiring a blender or crushed ice as they don't have one). Friendly staff and decent wait times. Enjoyed their Yorkshire pudding wrap with BBQ chicken, bacon, thin sliced apples and coleslaw. Over all experience was good. Little on the pricey side of the scale.

We went here for my birthday and it was a terrible experience. It was not our server's fault, it was the kitchen's. We got there about 7pm and they were already out of all of the mains that were on for the special. They were also out of the flagship dish of Guinness pie which is what I wanted. Our appetizer was okay and came in a decent time. It was over an hour and a half later before we got our mains. The tables around us were very loudly having bad experiences as well, which was annoying and contributed to the bad atmosphere and a bad dining experience. The mains were not well prepared, they were not hot and they were not exactly as advertised either. They were not well seasoned and just not good. The drinks we ordered were too sweet and when I asked for a Diet Pepsi it was flat when I got it. Our server was very friendly and nice and tried to make the experience as good as she could. She was working hard and definitely handled the guests in a professional manner even when they were mad at her. Our server was the only positive part of the experience. Overall I would not return or recommend. Very disappointing as I was quite excited to see a Fionn MacCool's coming here.

Took almost half hour to get our drinks and when we finally ordered they were out of a lot of food on the menu. The only good thing I have to say is the staff is friendly and apologetic and quite frankly it is not their fault for the poor food planning and under staffing to handle this restaurant- Get it together Cara Industries!

Location and patio were very nice, service was good and attentive. Had the crispy cauliflower to start which tasted good, but the chicken and waffles I ordered were extremely overdone. Chicken was fried to the point of being very chewy like jerky and the waffles couldn't be cut through so I wasn't able to eat it. We went on a Tuesday at 5pm so it wasn't busy at all, so i would've thought the cooks would have time to cook the food properly.

Stopped in for dinner last night. Our waiter was very friendly and understanding of our situation unfortunately that is were it all ends. My wife ordered the french onion soup and I ordered the Cajun Shrimp Penne. The soup was terrible and my dish had no taste to it other than the creamy white sauce. Will not return to this restaurant

My husband and I took a drive to Orillia On. Had dinner at this establishment. I want to assure you that no one and I mean no one was following mask or handwashing protocol. We were both at risk that night. Quite frightening to see such blatant disregard for our safety. We have videos to legitimize our fears if they are asked for. Food was good but after seeing for ourselves what goes on in front of us..we were troubled with what we might not see in their kitchen. There was no sign in for contact tracing. Sadly,this is the second Fionn MacCools we've been to since phase 3 and they too did not have one of us sign in. So sad! Last time we go there

Rice was crunchy, even after being told that the jasmine rice was not available and that other rice would be substituted. 90 minutes for lunch for 4 people.
