Situated right in the main street of Orillia, there is a beautiful indoor dining room, and a large outside front patio. Our server was pleasant and efficient. The Caesar cocktail was very well prepared. The menu is large, with more of a pub food fare, with some options for salads, and a couple of entrees. The wings were well prepared: crispy and not greasy. The Rosè Cappeletti pasta had a good mild flavor, yet a little too much melted cheese on it. Pizza is thin crust and crispy.

Food is very good, restaurant looks nice, wait staff were very good. Menu selection is pretty standard but has a few unique burgers you can't find anywhere else. As the restaurant is smaller, it can get quite loud inside, depending on the night. They use reusable straws as disposable aren't environmentally friendly. Altogether a good experience

The food was good, the staff was friendly but service was very slow. The restaurant was not full and it took over 40 minutes to get a burger with fries and a soup/salad. The washrooms are downstairs so those with accessibility needs might have issues.

The restaurant is rustic and classic. Its just the way a pub should be, it reminded me of the ones in Dublin Ireland. Lisa, the bartender/server was kind and accommodating. The food was delicious, I highly suggest the sweet potato fries and the burgers. Great spot and definitely seemed as if to be a staple of downtown orillia

Busy busy busy but didn't have to wait for a Sunday dinner. Excellent service. Fish a little over done, beef au just sauce no flavor but they were kind enough to not charge for the beef and give a voucher for a free meal.

Oh boy where do i begin....i show up and the restuarant was dead on a busy evening on the street (this should of been a warning) First ill say the servers were extremely nice and welcoming...that's where the good stops Where did your menu go? You lost everything! First Red Sangria was way to much red wine and not enough mix, felt like i was drinking just straight red wine out of a vase which glad cause after i got my food i needed to fight the urge too cry with that drink... My meal came which was a chicken club with spicey fries....my chicken was cold and so small it looked like it was taken from a salad then the spicey fries...Change the name cause that's false advertising Got it switched after i was almost crying on my plate and got it switched with a cheese quesadilla...dough mush with bad cheese and STALE tortilla chips You are a far cry from the old Brewery Bay and after almost crying from a 64 dollar meal i left disappointed, stressed and no longer hungry cause i felt sick Thanks for ruining my night and i will never return

I would rate this higher if I could. So glad we discovered this restaurant which caters just as much to vegetarians and vegans as it does to carnivores. 3/4 of their menu has vegetarian options or can be modified into a vegetarian choice. The “veggie chicken” made with soy, and the “veggie beef” made with chickpeas was DELICIOUS. Much better than ANY burger made of animal meat I’ve ever had! So many great appetizers too. We found the poppers were a little overpriced. 5 pub style poppers for $10. Aside from that, everything was fair. Lots of great brews on tap. Extensive kids menu for picky eaters. They offer a children’s grilled cheese which is not listed. Paper straws for drinks even the kids drink which is awesome! Chocolate peanut butter stack was SO good. Will recommend and return again, and again, and again!

If you are passing by Orillia this is "the "must go to place for lunch or dinner. They have the best burgers and chicken parmesan in town. What I really liked about this place was their customer service , the waitress that served us reminded me of the service I got when I was in Denmark just outstanding !

Staff was great. The food was good and the prices reasonable. Due to bad timing our food took a little while to arrive. It wasn't their fault but these things happen. As a result they very proactively reduced our bill. It was very thoughtful of them. I highly recommend the food. We didn't have a chance to take a look at the beer menu.

Fast, friendly service. Clean restaurant. If you're gluten-free this is a great place to be, they use O'Doughs breads. if you're not gluten-free, I recommend trying their hamburger with a gluten-free bun because it doesn't really taste any different, and it's better for you!

Loved this place until my last visit. Our server was inattentive and rushed us right out the door on our date night. Our mains were delivered only a few minutes after our appetizer arrived. Mains sat on the table to get cold while we ate our apps. Waitress heard my surprise when the mains were delivered so fast by the busser but ignored my concern. Was a really disappointing meal.

Been here a couple times now and I have mixed feelings about the place. Firstly, I love the design. It has a rustic and cozy feeling that works despite being a relatively large space. The food is also pretty comparable to anything I've found in the area, more or less standard restaurant/pub fare. However, I wish the pricing was a little more friendly... Everything on the menu is priced relatively high and my biggest frustration is that they do not offer any specials (or they neglected to mention/clearly advertise them anywhere). This leads to me having to choose between wanting to eat or have beverages because having both would mean breaking the bank on one meal.

Had a virgin Caesar and a kitchen sink burger. My husband had a Canadian burger. We both loved them. Great food and the Caesar was made perfectly. Nice atmosphere too.

Overall, it is a nice place but the food wasnt bad but it wasn't amazing either. Similar kind of food that you can get at any bar and grill. The drinks were fantastic and not too pricey at all. Not a bad place that was steps away from our hotel (Champlain). Give it a try!

Fantastic burgers! Really great takeout. Can’t wait to visit the patio one day. Update - finally visited for indoor dining tonight and had a great experience. Felt really safe with the protocols in place. The food was amazing. The fries, chicken sandwich, burgers and caesars were a huge hit. There was a small issue with one of the meals at our table and they removed it from our bill. Exceptional customer service! Cozy for dining or great for takeout - an easy way to support local businesses right now!

Brewery Bay is a staple in Orillia. The best thing they ever did was get comfortable seating. Believe it or not that’s something I look for. There are places nearby I don’t like visiting because the chairs and booth are uncomfortable to sit on. The food is always good and fresh. Service excellent. Everyone cares that works there.

The food here is awesome!!! It seems like the only restaurant open at 10pm in town as well. So that’s a bonus! Don’t skip out on their cookie skillet dessert. It was the best dessert I’ve had in a long time.

The decor was lovely and the staff friendly and accommodating. There were choices between a side that looked more like a bar, and one that gave off more of a diner vibe. Where it lost points in my books was when it came to quality and quantity of food compared to pricing. The three course meal was the most reasonably priced item for the amount of food and how it tasted. Nothing I had was bad, but it certainly didn't blow me away, not was the portion sizing enough to offset the price for me.

Been there quite a few times. The food is great, the drinks are good both alcoholic and non alcoholic. Fridays are five dollar fishbowls which are great. Staff is kind and accommodating to allergies.

The only thing that has kept this place from my brutally honest reviews, is a couple of the servers, my experience today surpassed my care for how busy or not this place is or will be in the future. The kitchen staff entirely, does not care to make an effort, and/or inexperienced young teenagers. Atrocious and misguided due to a lack of management specifically in the kitchen. I have had to send back my food in all honesty 70 percent of the time. The rest of he percentage taken up by me being to tired to care and just not getting a remake (a small fraction would be prepared well. The remake will often come back spitefully made, if an item was fine they will discard it and make it worse. No fault of the servers. I have said this many times to myself,and this time I assure you I mean it. I won't be eating here anymore. Period. You couldnt pay me to eat here.

Overall I like the food here but I will say that it can be a little variable in terms of quality. The same can be said for the service, but overall it is a great spot for lunch on the way to the cottage, especially for those who want something heartier or more of a pre-set meal than is offered at Mariposa Market next door. Having Mariposa next door makes it really easy to stop by there for a sweet treat and coffee though before getting back in the car!

Brewery Bay is one of our regular spots because there is a great selection for vegan and non vegan members of our family.

A hopping place when I visited on a Saturday night. The food was fresh and delicious, as well as reasonably priced for the servings our table received. The fries were excellent! Some of the best I've had. The service was friendly and prompt. When the glass of wine I ordered arrived, the glass still had lipstick prints from the previous diner, and it was quickly taken away for a fresh one.

Returning after years. Food is still great however the atmosphere was rather displeasing as soon as we walked into the bar side we were hit with a wall of stentch, it's hard to pin point the smell but there was a definite hint of must and mold. It just made for the entire evening to be unpleasant. We ate and left.

First time in Orillia, didn't really know what to eat. One of my good friends who are from Orillia recommended this place so I went. The hostess who seated was extremely welcoming and friendly, so that was a really good sign. Then our waiter came. He was absolutely amazing. Such a nice and patient guy who is so relatable and friendly, it made the experience that much more better. The food was also absolutely delicious (I got the hangover burger), but seriously if I were to recommend a place in Orillia it would definitely be here!!

Service was friendly and reasonably quick. My food was underwhelming. beef dip was tasteless and dying for salt. The bun wasn't really appropriate and turned to mush the second you dipped it in the jus. The side Ceasar was also boring and lacking in flavor.

I've been here twice, both times the food was delicious. The staff was friendly, although the second time I was there the waitress wasn't at the front and the bartender came around about 4 minutes after we came in realizing no one had seated us. Then after he seated us and gave us menus he went to find her and about 7 minutes after we were seated she finally appeared. She was friendly although did not come around at all except to give us food and eventually the bill. Not a horrible experience, just a bit puzzling as to what she was doing as there was no other tables and the bartender had to search for her. Delicious food though, I'm sure she was just having an off day like everyone does.

Went here with a group of six on a Friday evening. It was quite a wait to get a table. They took our number and messaged us when we got a table. About an hour wait. Our server was friendly but service was a little slow, not sure if it is because they are understaffed. Food was alright. If you are looking for bar-type food then this place is ideal.

Have been to the restaurant on several occasions over the years. On this date attended the serving staff was nice but slow when it came to getting the meal out when hot. Waiter was ok but had very little charama. Food was ok and portion fine for the price paid but felt the quality and temperature was not up to the standards of restaurants on the top of my list. It is a nice place to grab a drink when in downtown Orillia but a couple times a year is plenty for my satisfaction. Overall it is ok for a drink and an average meal but certainly not a place I would go a long way to get a meal.

My husband and I visited last night for a long overdue ‘date night’. Five stars! Our server was attentive- yet didn’t hover or rush us; beer was cold. Bad customer service. Used to go here frequently. Staff has changed and are completely awful. Never had a waitress so rude. I usually tip 25 percent. Did not tip at all, I was ready to call her out. Go somewhere else.

Delicious! Nice options on the menu; our party of 5 all found something to enjoy. Very large portions meant a couple of people took home 'lunch for tomorrow'. Their sandwiches are particularly good, as is the mac'n'cheese (served in a cast iron skillet). Our server was very knowledgeable and attentive. Highly recommend Brewery Bay.

We had lunch here on November 11th. The gluten-free Louisiana burger, bun and fries was extremely yummy (minus the sauce). Our server Lisa/Lisie was wonderful and we felt safe with the measures in place at the restaurant. We’ll be back!

We've eaten here a few times but wouldn't suggest the food to anyone. The location is nice and the patio is convenient but that's about it. Interior is dark, sticky and worn out. The chicken fingers turned out to be a sliced chicken patty which was laughable.

Staff are always around, Waitress was amazing she was always there noticing when our cups were empty as soon as they emptied and was always on top of things when making sure everything was good throughout the meal in a none invasive manor. Highly recommended place for both the food and the staff.

Got take out a couple weeks ago and my hamburger was burnt. My husband's fries were over cooked and the portion small. A previous negative review mysteriously vanished off google. In these times you'd think they would try extra hard to keep customers. Needless to say we won't be returning as we've found much better quality food elsewhere.

We haven’t been to Orillia in ages. Decided to try out this unique location and we were very happy! Huge selection, great presentation and pride in preparation. Andrew our server was hustling, he got a huge rush but kept his cool and was very fast even with everything going on. Highly recommend!

My wife and I stopped in here for a quick lunch. We ordered the Buffalo Chicken Sandwich. It was very tasty, we ordered the medium but if you like spicy I recommend ordering the hot sauce. We also ordered sweet potato fries which were great. We shared the meal and the were kind enough to cut it in half and serve it to us on two plates with the fries split as well.

Food was good - I had the Food Company Burger and my wife had the Fish Tacos. The burger was good and would order it again, I substituted my side for the goat cheese salad for an extra $3 so $20 for the burger and salad side, which I think was reasonable. The fish tacos, my wife thought they were average she had them with the fries, which were average and the fish tacos were definitely not as good as Smash in Whitby. Service was average in my opinion and wait staff were all quite young. Overall a good spot to grab a drink and a bite with friends if in the area.

Came here for a dinner and the ordered a Cesar, the Great Canadian Burger and the Fire Cracker Burger. The drinks came out super quickly but the food took a little long since I waited around 40 minutes for the food. However the service was good and the burgers were juicy.

Terrible service, we received no utensils until 10 minutes after our food was given to us, the spinach dip was very runny and gross. The chicken sandwich was very dull and tasteless, I could have gotten something better from the trash can outside.

Excellent food and service. Fair selection of craft beers. Been a few times and never disappointed. Girlfriend had one of their vegetarian sandwiches and was quite happy with it. Will go again for sure!

Brewery Bay has been a staple of downtown Orillia for a very long time, and for good reason. The food is consistent, and exactly what you expect. It's good pub fair, but if you are looking for for a fine dining experience, this is not for you. Everything from the food to the set up says pub, but does it well. I really like that the wait staff really makes an effort to learn what food and drink you like. It's uncanny really. The downside I can think of is that sometimes the food can be a little slow getting to your table. While not all the time, it happens often enough to be noticeable. All in all, a good place to meet up with friends, and enjoy a good meal.

I've been here a few times and each and every visit is better than the last. Just tonight my brother and I came in during and incredibly busy dinner rush and the severs were as curdeous and attentive as if we were the only customers in the restaurant. I couldn't believe how effortlessly they moved table to table giving the other patrons the same treatment and even had the time to pause and give my brother recommendations for beer to pair with his burger. This place is amazing, the staff deserve a party for how great they are and the chef should get an award for the fabulous feast we enjoyed. Thank you Brewery Bay for yet another excellent experience :)

This is my first time going to this restaurant. It was clean and spacious. My server was very polite. I ordered a alcohol beverage that I wasn't very happy with and they had no problem making me something else. The white wine sangria was great.???? The food was amazing and the service was quick. I was definitely pleased with my visit and service.

We had reviewed this restaurant on-line before deciding to go here on our second visit, prior to going to the casino. It is definitely more of a pub, but the décor is nice but not overly new. It was clean, although the bathrooms could use some work. Another place where you have to go downstairs to get to the washroom. Our hostess who seated us decided to sit us across from the only large table of almost 20 people rather than sit us at one of the many other tables available. Luckily our server was smart enough to ask if we wanted to sit somewhere else where it was not going to be as loud, and we were glad to have been given the option. It took us a while to decide, and the server was very patient with us after having come back a couple of times. We decided to go with a grilled cheese sandwich and instead of an appetizer got something called "Pitachos" which are kind of like nacho's, but done on baked pita chips. They were quite nice, but a little expensive for what you got. Our grilled cheese was very good, and came with a nice little relish to go along with it. Overall, this wasn't a bad place. We would definitely go here again when we get up there late at night, but not sure it would be our "go to" place in the future. It's got some nice selections, so we could visit again and try something new next time.

Always a pleasure....gluten free buns and tortillias allow for most items to be gluten free. Friendly servers and excellent food. Only reason for 4 stars is the wait time for food. But obviously worth the wait as i keep returning.

Great service and food. They fit us in Friday night outside when every place else seemed to be full. Had deep-fried dill pickles and turkey burgers with the works. All very good with great, friendly service. One issue that should be addressed is that one of the urinals right next to the sink was still available. Did not allow for social distancing.

Went here in between hockey games. The staff were organized, friendly and helpful. The menu is extensive, burgers, pizza pasta and pub grub. The prices are reasonable. Everyone at the table enjoyed their food. Overall, a very positive experience

Food and drinks were good as always! Server didn't have time to discuss local draft/ beer or pass me the choices to read on my own. When asked if you serve Flying Monkey, he gave me a look and said"ah thats a brewery". Sure is and so is a few others your menu choices( many great choices) Not sure why his negative response and unwillingness to share choices when i asked.

Excellent food! My grandmother has been raised on homemade French Onion soup and is very hesitant about ordering it out, but Brewery Bay's French Onion passed her test! She loved it! And the fries were hands down the best we have had in a long time! Next time we are in Orillia we will definitely go back, so many things to try still!

This place was amazing. I want to believe the best in restaurants and reviews, but you just never really know. So, when I say that this place was amazing I truly mean it. The service was great and my Mac and cheese was delicious. I thought the portion would be a bit bigger, but I was so full by the end. My friends got burgers and those were also filling and delicious.
