such a bad customer service. I got there with my boyfriend for a friends birthday party, the security did not let us in though we had a table reserved. after a while waiting in the line in the cold, I saw girls coming and talk to the guy with their flirtation behavior, and the guy let them in. and it happened several times on huge number of people. and they mostly were Canadians who they guy let them in. then we got angry and told him why is this and why you are not letting us in? we have a table reserved. he said that he can not let us in because of our shoes !!!! what ???? the location even does not have the dress code and the rest of the people in line also were wearing clothes and shoes like us. such a bad racist attitude. the drinks are also so expensive and they are watery. 4 shots of tequila for 32 dollars and it is not real alcohol. do not try it

So after getting a booth and few bottles at the end of the nights I realized my jacket was missing from the booth after looking everywhere I found my jacket in a closet in the back of the club... 90% of of employees there are thief .... and there you back each other up... watch your belongings these people are thief... thief I'm telling you... watch everything you own... if anyone gives this place more than one star it's probably because they work there.

Thursday is the best day as there is no line up and because the dance floor is small, no crowd = more space to move around. The team here brings great international DJs mix with good locals = reliable spot to hang out and dance

The music is really good and the vibe is amazing. It's a small intimate place. Normally this a deep house venue featuring local and sometimes international DJs. Saturday night crown seems to include a lot of Persians.

Not for nothing but if my party of twelve has bottle service reserved there is no way we are paying $30 each at the door. Very shabby on managements part. There are a lot of other places in this city that will gladly take our money. Good luck folks, you aren't doing us any favours.

It’s like a little house with mansion aesthetic. Such charming decor and for the most part, grounded people. Small dance floor but people respect your space from my experience. The washrooms are upstairs, kind of steep so I wouldn’t recommend heels going here. Cover charge is a bit expensive but it is worth it if you’re staying the whole night and are looking for an after party in Toronto.

Music and the ambiance were the only good parts of this place. Staff wasn't super friendly and they very clearly shorted every "measured" pour. For a place with good house music they really could lose some of the couches and make space for people to actually dance. I'd only recommend coming here if you want to sit uncomfortably and struggle to have conversations over the music.

This is 2019, so its hard to find places that discriminate against you right in your face, based on your race. I've been to many places in downtown Toronto over the last 20 years and this is the only place I experienced such behavior. The bouncer didn't let us in after waiting 20 minutes in the line up and kept coming up with various reasons! Its absurd, almost comical! So if you are a visible minority, and want to experience if first hand, try this place, then come here and share your experience.

Sun 11/18/18 - colder than usual... but manageable - the place has great aesthetics. I went with a group of friends, a belvedere vodka soda was about $12.75; not that bad. Cheapest vodka bottle $200. The whole experience was great, but be careful it can get really expensive really fast. The star 4 star is mainly because the place is not designed to be a bar but they manage with what they have. It was way too crowded, shoulder to shoulder and even back to back. Also the music is not very good unless you like bass and some rhythm. Overall: I'm not a club guy and I have been at better ones where there is more space. Experience was good, but not memorable.

One of my favorite spots in the city for good house music. Awesome setting, Victorian furbishing, dim lighting really creates a good ambiance. Is a great place to grab a drink and enjoy a good house set with out the crazy atmosphere of a normal club. There is a small area to dance which I also enjoy. So whether your in the mood to dance or just sit back and enjoy the vibe this place is perfect.

Many DJs come here, typically deep house. It's cosy for the entertainment district. Another place with expensive drinks yet bad service. Obnoxious crowds are inevitable in this part of town. Compared to other places around here it's a bit more mature hence 3 stars, otherwise 2 at most.

My brother's ex-girlfriend worked there and she was a druggie. Lot's of that running through this place. Whenever I went there I was getting free drinks so it was pretty good for me. Music is usually pretty good when they have good DJ's. Place has gone down hill over the last while though - and the bathroom is gross. I know for a fact the staff water down the vodka, rum and gin, which is kinda funny because the drink prices are stupid high. Lots of older guys. The owners are Italian - actor/singer wanabees in their 50's trying to hit on young girls that come to the bar. Think that guy on late night TV in Hamilton - Frank D'Angelo. Unless the drinks are free - I'll pass going forward.

We left a rooftop to enjoy some music in Parlour. They sit us in the front and after half an hour they told us to leave as someone else wanted our table! It’s so unprofessional to allow people in and then ruin their night to make more money. Shame Parlour!

Have had great times here in the past. Wanted to show a loved one a cool place in the city. But apparently, when you're not on the "guest list", there's a $25 pp cover at 10pm with eight people on queue. Riiiiiiiiiight.

Bad management. Also $20 cover for this place is ridiculous. Very small space and sound system is not great. Overall the experience is not worth the entry. You can get the same experience for free at other bars. This is just a bar that happens to have DJ's what are people paying for really? If you're just going here to get drunk and don't mind paying $20-30 to do so you may enjoy it.

The vibe is chill and the music is fantastic! The folks who work there go out of there way to make you feel at home in this cozy chill lounge style club. The coat check woman, who's name escapes me but was working Saturday Oct. 17, was super professional and friendly. From the door man to the GM, awesome feeling. Too bad some of the patrons don't know what manners are! Go for the music!

Well what can I say! To start I also disagree with the $50 card expenditure at the bar as in other reviews. Music is usually very good. Dance floor is small but still functional. The one thing that keeps us coming back to Parlour is one of the doorman named Joshua. He’s personally called us and let us know what events are happening at the bar and for us to drop by. We actually booked now for different times bottle service and spent a few thousand dollars there. He is an asset to Parlour and More places should have guys like him at the front door. He is welcoming and always looks after our needs. Although I disagree with some of the policies inside he is sure a factor for us to keep coming back.

Last night was my first time going to Parlour and it was great. The staff from the door to the bartenders we're all much more pleasant than I remember clubs being back in the day. I really liked the Victorian style lounge vibe inside. The music was also awesome even though the dance floor is really tiny. I'll definitely be going back next time there is a DJ in town I'm interested in seeing.

I just read a review that mentioned that if you show up with too many guys you will not get in. I m definitely going there next weekend, that is great news and policy, that way the ratio must be quite good. Nothing worst then going to a bar filled with dudes.

Went here for the first time and I thought our group was going to have a good time based on the reviews but I highly suggest walking right by this place! Besides the decent music, thanks to a guest DJ, there is nothing appealing about Parlour. From the hostess collecting cover, charging whopping $25, who rudely informed us that no coat check was available (it was a chilly night and definitely not summer yet), to the bartenders who take advantage of their patrons. They charged different amounts for the same drink (ranging from $9-$11 for a vodka soda). And, please by all means avoid the long haired brunette bartender, whose name is said to be Katie, she keeps your change and walks away (I'm not talking pocket change). What a way to be taken advantage of at a supposedly respectable Toronto lounge. Additionally, they don’t let you use your credit card without a $50 minimum purchase which is absolutely ridiculous in a city where card is becoming the norm to pay with. If you don’t want your night to be ruined by rude staff and bartenders who steal your money, avoid this hole in the wall. PS. The only nice staff were the doormen.

Went to Toronto for a work party and ended up here, had to pay 25 dollar cover for everyone and then got kicked out in 45 mins for things that weren’t even rude! The bouncers were extremely rude! Won’t be recommending to anyone

If you wanted to observe some violence, from it's staff and walk away from a good night out feeling sad and a real idiot because you didn't call the police on them. This is the place to be. Sadly, I walked past this place last friday and saw two of their security men take a swing on a guy who wasn't even at their club and was minding his own business and talking on the phone. It was shocking and I wished I'd called the police so I plan on amending this situation in every way I can. Thank god for social media! The firefighters next to Parlour luckily took him in and offered to help clean him up so I left the situation alone but talk about shady places that support violence... I really hope someone gets rid of these shady violent bullies and replace them with decent security. If you're worried about the safety of your friends, do not go to this place. Also, I have lived in various cities in Europe and this would never go without alarm in any of these places, was shocking to realise that Canada isn't as rid of violence compared to USA as they advertise to be. Very sad to watch.
