Was told they we couldn’t sit on the patio as the tables were reserved so we were sat at a wobbly table away from the all the tables on the patio. Then a woman walks up n as she’s told the tables r reserved they clean off the table and this lady is allowed to sit at the table that I was just told was reserved. And they r not the ones that reserved it. So def won’t return def not into liers that play favourites Very sad

Wasn't too impressed. Food was over salted (and I like salt) and looked as though it had been sitting under a heat lamp. We had the trio dip, cauliflower and the calamari. Calamari was cold. Honestly, it was pretty bad for the price. I know it's called the Tin Cup but drinking a cocktail from those cups is just weird. I recognize its Oakville but I also thought the prices were a bit steep. I wouldnt recommend it unless you're closeby already. Service was friendly though.

Our waitress Erin was amazing way overloaded with patrons and it is understandable had the calamari which was tender not chewy and the taste was spot on the poutine was really good omg lol and the special the buffallo chicken tenders were amazing but Erin was the star great service!

Went here for lunch with my boss and she highly reccommended the korean beef tacos. They were tasty but a wee bit saltier than what I'd prefer. I would also rename the dish to 'Vietnamese Beef Tacos' since hoison and sriracha sauce is definitely not used in any cuisine I've ever had (hubby is korean). All in all good meal.

Local spot to catch up with good friends

Weekend evenings gets a bit busy here. Food is great and staff are friendly, although it took a while to come. Also be ready to shell out extra for drinks as it is comparatively expensive than the other bars. Felt like the sports bar ambience was missing. Probably afternoon lunch time is best time to visit.

By far my favorite place to eat near Oakville. Mildly friendly staff, lots of TVs, and very good food. The Buffalo Cauliflower, wings, and the salads are great. Note: Get the wings with Sweet Chili Sauce and unbreaded. Trust me!

My husband and I took my parents to this establishment for our first time for dinner yesterday evening. We were quite pleased with the service, food and atmosphere. We live just down the road and have passed by this place numerous times and noticed that it was always quite busy, and now I understand why! The prices are very reasonable considering the size of the portions you receive. There are plenty of big screen TVs to watch while you eat, and the restaurant itself is easy to navigate (well-maintained washrooms are always a plus!) We will definitely come back again - especially during hockey season!

Great food good service except for one young ignorant bartender the young blond dipshit behind bar who serves the people who came in after u first when she clearly stands right in front of me like she is going to ask me something then serves guy who sits down at end of bar before me guess he is more important then me not first time douchebag has been rude I cut her some slack first time. I emailed a complaint and called the manager they don't seem to care at all they have so much business they can afford to let their staff be rude.

Some days you don’t feel like cooking and just want a nice quick meal. I don’t know what’s happened to this place but our takeout food today was gross. BERY disappointing, everything overcooked and Dry chicken, dry burger, onion rings and fries pretty dry. Have had a COMPLETE different experience pre covid but this is the second time we’ve had a bad experience. Sorry but won’t be ordering from here again. We don’t live far so can’t be the 5 min . . .

Was told about this place from a good friend. Have to driving almost 45 minutes the first tin cup we went to closed early We called this one here and their kitchen was still open so we rushed over. From the moment we walked in we were treated like loyal customers very welcoming to all the stuff very friendly. Nice sports bar with lots of memorabilia and pictures. Also lots of nice TVs to enjoy the game. I went with the nachos which they're made in house and they were fantastic. I ordered the chicken wings nice jumbo wings with pretty good sauce between my friend and I we had dusted and non-dusted go with the non-dusted they're a lot better. The sauce was good. The blue cheese was good as well. Overall a great experience at tin will definitely go back

So here's the story, I order a buffalo chicken wrap, my two friends get their food first, I'm fine with this, not big deal especially considering the staffing problems I know many restaurants are experiencing. Then I notice a man at another table got the wrong order, they are replacing his(my) buffalo chicken wrap with a turkey wrap. I say to my friend "that guy got my wrap". The waitress apologizes and says they make a new one ASAP. This is fine. So my "new" wrap come out very fast, suspiciously fast. I touch the chicken, and its clearly room temperature, I'm now 97% confident the kitchen staff simply replaced the fries and sent out the same wrap that had been sitting at the other guys table for 15 minutes. I send it back as this is a food safety hazard, they give me an actual fresh one, comp the wrap and its all good. But the simple fact that the kitchen tried to pass off the old wrap is extremely bad, so I have to give the place 2 stars. Even in the best circumstances its unacceptable, but considering covid-19 is currently menacing civilization, it is even more egregious.

We took our 10 year old Daughter for dinner to the Tin Cup early this evening, this was meant to be a treat. A woman who was seated several tables away from us, was incredibly loud. Everyone was forced to listen to every word she said. She constantly used the F word. It ruined our meal, we left earlier than planned, to remove our daughter from an unsuitable situation. Very disappointed that this was allowed to continue and was not dealt with by the staff.

I usually don't like to leave negative feedback, especially in a service establishment as it's a tough job, however the service I received today, along with my meal were extremely disappointing. I came to the restaurant with my toddler son, we sat across from each other at a 4 person table, the waitress came by, dropped the menu on the opposite side of the table, didn't greet us in anyway and just walked away(if this was the only incident I had I would have just forgotten about it and moved on, however it was extremely rude and cold). During the time that I orders,I asked for a side of pickles for my son as he was craving it, it was forgotten about when our food came(again if it was isolated I wouldn't make a big deal out of it, however a pattern was forming) 10 minutes into the meal the waitress walked by, didn't stop, and out of nowhere she says "do you want a to go container to pack that up?", and continued walking without stopping(it totally seemed as if she was trying to get us to leave) Ontop of the rude service, she didn't once come to the table and ask if we wanted a refill, or if everything was ok with the food, we were dying for some water and she never came by once and if we saw her walking we didn't even have an opportunity to stop her. We went the entire meal without a refill of our drink or with a cup of water we wanted. Truthfully the chicken wrap I got was really nasty and I didn't even get a chance to let them know about it. In conclusion, maybe it was a bad day for this waitress, I won't name or describe her as you never know the circumstances behind it, but the service and food today was just bad, sorry however that is the truth. I hope that they work things out and improve, because I've been there many times in the past and typically the experience was not like this. I probably will not be returning.

One of my favourite places to go in Oakville. They are open late, have a good mature crowd and very friendly staff. Oh and the food is great. I've also been to the one in Burlington a few times and that is good as well. It just has a slightly different atmosphere because of the size and layout of that location.

Extremely disappointed with this place. I have celiac disease and looked up restaurants on Urban Spoon that would be able to make gluten free dishes. My husband and I decided on this place. I told the waitress I had Celiac disease and explained that it's not an allergy, but a disease and cross contamination with gluten was an issue. She assured me the food would be properly protected and the dish I ordered was completely gluten free. She was wrong. That night, I began to bloat up and now, today, the entire day, I have been in the bathroom with major issues. I look six months pregnant... Tomorrow and the next day, the brain fog will begin and possibly an anxiety attack as the hormones get completely out of whack. And I won't ever know what kind of damage this ONE MEAL will do to my small intestine. If you have celiac disease or gluten sensitivities, DO NOT GO HERE. Multiple -very friendly but serious- explanations and confirmations were not enough to ensure a safe meal.

The grilled calamari is excellent, I order it every time. The wings always looked delicious so I finally tried them. They are meaty, not dried out, you can choose between grilled or battered, and they have some very good hot sauces that you can request. Prices are fair as well. Great TVs, so I would not hesitate to go there to watch a main event.

Tin Cup was such a pleasant surprise! The people and the food clearly makes this place stand out like none other in the area. The waitress was such a sweet person. They checked I'm on us multiple times, provided us thing we wanted very quickly and treated us with such warmth. The vegan Mac-n-Cheese is literally the best one I've ever had! And this isn't even a vegan restaurant! Well done! My friend and I have a lovely time and will be coming back again.

The difference between service at this place varies vastly between waitresses. Some are there just to earn their wage, and others try to make your enjoy your time there. I guess the more cynical ones have learnt that regardless of how bad their service is, most people, including myself still tip 15%. Other than that, it’s a relaxing place, and sometimes they have live music

My friends and I went to palermo Pub for wing night but the parking lot was full when we walked in there were no tables or seats so we decided to go to Tin cup in oakville as a plan B and are we sure glad we did. We pulled in ample parking and seats. We sat in the dining area and were greeted by Lorraine who was our server. She told us it was wing night which worked out perfect and so we ordered 6lbs unbreaded honey galric cajun and buffalo butter which came out quick. The wings were perfect size and tasted delicious. Our drinks were never empty Lorraine was quick and efficent. She explained to us the difference in sauces and she never stopped smiling. Excellent spot for either a night out with friends, a wind-down after work, or a couple of pints with your team-mates after working up a sweat. Staff are friendly, though they tend to be very busy so park your impatience at the door and kick-back and enjoy the atmosphere and the din of the crowd. Love the food at Tin Cup. The atmosphere is great for sports fans and the outside dining section is sufficient especially in their location. The only thing is the booth seating. The seats are uncomfortable. I get the feeling the were intentionally made so customers would leave soon after their meal. Restaurants in this area are a little sparse but this is a good choice. All the locals seem to know it as it was packed shortly after we got there. Give it a try.

The food is very nice here. I would recommend the burgers to anybody. Proper burgers with proper beef patties. There is a variety of drinks here with a popular selection of beers on tap. It sometimes does get quite rushy here which means service quality does drop at times, but nothing too bad. Prices can also be a little high compared to other bars in the area. The crowd here is very nice. You always meet genuine people here who are happy to meet new people. Great place to watch hockey and basketball games.

We walked in and there was no sign posted as to whether we seat ourselves or wait for a server, so we looked around and clearly looked a little confused. There was a waitress chit-chatting to a table, looked at us and kept chatting. I have been a waitress for years and I would understand if it was busy or she was taking an order but she continues to talk to them as we continue to wait. 5 full minutes and they don't bother to seat us. We left and I don't plan to go back.

Was very disappointed with our service. We went in around 12 on a Saturday night. Our server seemed annoyed when taking orders and it took so long to get drinks that my friends and I started ordering 2 at a time. When I addressed an error on my bill is she seemed really annoyed that I said anything. Not the greatest experience. 10 months since my first review. We decided to stop in quickly. And again the staff was cold and close to being blatantly rude. It was different servers this time. And when she wasn't clearing tables, she was on her phone. One of my friend's basically had to walk all the way to other side of the bar to get her attention. The drinks tasted watered down. If it wasn't for the fact that they are basically the only place in the area open as late as they are, we wouldn't go back.

Amazing place! Friendly, helpful staff, and great food. The waitress refilled my ice tea before I had a chance to ask, cheers! I always go for the calamari duo to start, which is half fried, half grilled. But I prefer just getting it all grilled with a great garlic airline style dipping sauce. For my main this day I went with the Braised Beef Short Rib, and it didn't disappoint, smooth mashed potatoes and a reduction over top. Incredibly tender, and juicy. Will be back again and would recommend to anyone!

Called this morning to make a reservation for dinner tonight for a few of my friends and I. I was told that the restaurant doesn't take reservations on a Friday. Fair enough, makes sense. Show up at 7:30pm same day, and see 4 tables reserved right by the front door. I asked the manager why they had reserved tables when I couldn't make a reservation, the manager told me it was for the owner's buddies. I said I would like to complain, and the manager told me that the owner won't care so don't bother. Unbelievable. I didn't bother sticking around. First and last time at this "establishment".

I'm sure if it was just a place for a beer and catch a game it does the job nicely. Food was ok, but the place could do with a bit of a clean up. The pasta dish I had was fine, but my wife's sandwich didn't live up to expectations. Fries were not at the level I would have expected for a place like this. Our waitress Erin, made the whole experience so pleasant. From the minute she seated us to the moment we left, she was so attentive, warm and super friendly.
