Always a good time to eat ribs. Tip for travellers. There is free parking and a shuttle across the street and to the South on Trafalger road. Parking on site is $10. Admission is free.

Spoiler alert: many of the ribbers are owned by the same people. The only real ribber was RD's Southern BBQ. Recipes passed down generations and cooked up by a real trained chef, to ribber his family. Thanks RD's, for being the real deal!

Great planning. Best ribfest for us so far. Shuttle from car park to event was a really thoughtful idea. It helped ease the movement. Great planning. Thumbs up to the the rotary club.

Terrible (beef) ribs. Chewy. Barely any meat. Pricy. I wish I had taken a picture of the order. Whole family was disappointed. Barely ate any of it. Threw the rest out. First and last time for sure.

Was raining slightly and so not many people were there. Didn't have to wait in line for ribs or kids rides. Face painting and other activities also were there for the kids. It's great that it is not on grass so your feet are not getting wet and muddy.

Above and Beyond! As a person who is medically excluded from driving, it would have been near impossible for me to support the event, this year. Mind you, I can smell it form my home, so this makes missing out even more torturous. I reached out to the Ribfest, and learned that the "Drive Thru Only" rule was imposed by Sheridan College. I hold no ill will to Sheridan for this; they were trying to be responsible, from a public health standpoint. Unfortunately, they failed to include provisions for persons like myself, by offering a safe "Walk up" or a Delivery option. So I reached out to Sheridan, specifically to the Centre for Equity and Inclusion. The response was immediate. Accommodations were made, and I was able to support the event by way of prearranging a meeting. I emailed in my order, and a volunteer met me at the edge of the event space, in a safe spot, near the Go Bus Stop. My thanks to the Oakville Family Ribfest, and Sheridan College for coming through.

Great venue as always. A bit disappointed at the $2 per person "donation" on top of the $10 parking "donation", which makes an entrance fee of $18 for us. We used to go more than one day, but it is getting a bit pricey now.

Like other events, Ribfest loses its charm during Covid. Long lines. Inferior ribs. No people per se.

My 2nd year going. And this year I was a special VIP. it was way better because the VIP tent was a way to cool off from the hot June heat. This is absolutely one of my Favourite things to do in summer and the perfect way to start it. I prefer this over the CNE and am already counting down till next year! Can't wait
