Excellent place for drinks. Trendy small bar with an emphasis on specialty cocktails. The pick 3 menu for $30 won't disappoint. We got lured in by the $18 Highland Park Whiskey flight and then had The Mapled Buttered Smoked Old Fashion and Two Smoking Barrels. Both just exceptional and watching them being made was just as great a treat. If you take your libations seriously then definitely give Clark & Co. a try.

Probably my favourite cocktail bar in Victoria. The staff (bartenders) really know what they are doing and have a real passion for the craft. We love to go here on fancier nights. The cocktails can be a little on the pricier side but are worth it in light of the difference in quality. Love when they have a good feature on scotch flights. Met one of the owners one night and my admiration for the place only improved. I would recommend this to anyone who enjoys a high quality cocktail, though I am almost afraid that if it gets too popular we won't be able to go.

Really great experience at Clarke and Co last night for dine around. Soren was an excellent server and the owner made several attempts to stop and chat to make sure everything was going well for us. We had heard about Sheringham Sea Side gin and the Empress gin (it's purple!) on a food tour around Victoria and Clarke&Co had both to try! Really low key spot to enjoy good and drink. Highly recommend!

They have lots of homemade touches to their food and drinks and the owner/bartender made great suggestions with the drinks and was willing to customize them so they'd be closer to our individual tastes. All those gluten free comfort foods you’ve been missing are here! Five stars for the gf menu. Poutine, Mac and cheese, wings! Seriously everything is gf. We had mushroom poutine and s&p wings and both were tasty. However, like all comfort foods you feel like a couch, not like sitting on a couch, but an actual couch. Get a few cocktails and call it a night.

First day, first stop by coincidence and... great concept. Not a very large space so you better book before. We enjoyed a nice July 6 o'clock moment on the small outside patio literally on the sidewalk. Simple and efficient. Great choice of cocktails. The menu offers limited choices but it is very nice and well prepared. Do not go there if you are looking for large quantities. Go for a privileged moment you want to share with someone sipping a different drink and discovering small tasty bites. Two friendly owners will make this great for you. Also a trendy place for some millenias :)

Cozy atmosphere with well chosen ambient House music playing in the back ground. As soon as i sat down i was greated warmly by the staff, and Instantly I felt the stresses of the day melt away. Clarck & Co.had a large collection of Single Malts, Irish Whiskey, Bourbon and of course, incredible Canadian craft Whiskies and Spirits produced on Vancouver island. Vancouver island has been steadily continued to impress global palettes with high quality and standard on offer, from the many dedicated Distillers practicing their craft. Big shout out to Laura the Manager, who was extremely knowlagable, passionate, helpful and patient in helping me chose a delicious whisky, that paired well with my charcuterie plate. Sitting front stage, as i watched the Bar staff produce incredible looking cocktails for their egar guest was refreshing, in regards to the enthusiasm they displayed. Having never been to Clarke&Co prior to tonight I had heard good things, with the proviso that it was a little on the expensive side. Having now been, I can say that there is a excellent union of cost and quality. Friendly, knowledgable staff quickly answered any questions I had and the dimly-lit environment was cozy and intimate. The cocktail menu was varied and no less reasonably priced than most places worth drinking at, and I look forward to sampling further, settling on their take on the bourbon sour to my complete satisfaction. Deciding to try their fried chicken was the best decision possible as the boneless chunks are juicy and the seasoning was phenomenal. If they were able to provide a vegetarian alternative for the fried chicken I'm sure they would bring in a whole new crowd. Overall definitely a great choice for an evening out - the bottomless popcorn doesn't hurt.

This is a great little spot. It's good for a few evening drinks with some friends as it is cozy and has a calm atmosphere. The staff are friendly and the owner is a self-made career bartender with a warming backstory. The drink menu is concise and has the bases covered for standard drinks. They don't really serve much for food, just a couple items but you're there for the drinks and ambiance anyways.

Friendly and well meaning staff with a solid selection. Unfortunately, a poor showing when I was there. I sat down, was greeted, and placed an order for a simple cocktail and shot, and after 40 minutes of waiting, I gave up and decided to leave. They recognized the issue and apologized, which was appreciated. It wasn't that busy of a night, and I may have just gotten lost in the shuffle. It felt like an honest mistake, and I'll give them another chance and update the review afterwards

Best drinks we have ever had! My brother has been to countless cocktail bars around the world and said Clarks had the best drinks he's ever had. Nice environment, knowledgeable staff who told us about the high-end equipment they use to make their drinks, and we liked the vintage glass tumblers. Would be better with different music, less 80's and 90's Darcy's dance stuff (like Journey etc). Maybe soul, soft funk jazz or instrumental, something along those lines.

Usually don't take the time to review unless the experience was exceptionally good or bad, this was the latter. I took my family because of the great reviews for there happy hour. Unfortunately the bar itself is nothing to be impressed by and when they say that shakes are $5 on the menu, that means, only the Classic shake is $5, all other shakes are double the price and they will not tell you that when ordering. I ordered a Manhattan that is supposed to be 3 OZ, it was at best 1.5 OZ. They tried upcharging on the final bill as well, she was rude when asked to make the adjustment. I wouldn't recommend going, happy hour or otherwise.

They need a better system for wait list. We put our names on the wait list and their employee asked for our number so they can send us a notification when our table was ready. We replied confirming that we were coming and while we were waiting outside of the bar for someone to seat us, another one of their employees was having a cigarette with a group of friends outside and after we were waiting for a couple minutes, he gave our table to them instead. After they were seated, the employee that we originally talked to came out and said sorry and that we would be seated in 5 minutes and she would update us in a couple minutes. We waited 15 minutes more and no one came out to update us, so we decided to leave. Really disappointed.

Clarke & Co is the best cocktail bar in town for many reasons. The service is warm and professional backed by a deep knowledge and passion for what they do. The owners are thoughtful and welcoming to all and place the upmost importance on the guest experience. The room is cozy and inviting. The food is delicious and very well done. What makes Clarke & Co so special is the environment that has been fostered there. The feeling that when you walk in the door you know you will be surrounded by great people, staff and guests alike. I couldn't recommend Clarke & Co more highly.

The mixologists at Clark & Co were extremely knowledgable in their craft. Mixing is their specialty, and you can tell they love their work. Nuances in their drinks from how a specific flavour will affect the overall finish of your drink was both entertaining and educational. Great place to stop for drinks.

Serving the most Delicious cocktails. I enjoy every time I go, and I always get at least 3 that's how good they are. Friendly staff and Laura is a talented and skilled bartender. She will make cocktails custom to your favourite taste and flavor with your alcohol preference, ranging from whisky, gin or whatever your heart desires. If cost is not issue definitely ask for a surprise! It will not disappoint!

was in town for one night xhecked out this hole in the wall figured whatever, but the servers were rude, i left mid way threw my first drink, not 100% sure I want to go further than that because judging by the rest of the comments if you give a one star they will sue you for your bad experience? anyways to each their own but I won't make that mistake twice.
