We have the opinions of real people like you who use the services and products of Shore Club (Night Club) in the area close to Nova Scotia (Canada).
Right now the firm gets a score of 4.6 over 5 and that score has been based on 127 reviews.
You may have noticed that the average score it has is virtually the best, and it's based on a large number of scores, so we may be pretty sure that the valuation is quite faithful. If many people have bothered to value when they are pleased, is that it works.
As you know, we do not usually stop to set opinions when they are correct and we usually do it only if we have had a problem or incidence...
This Night Club corresponds to the category of Seafood restaurant.
Wonderful place for a great lobster dinner
Service is not that great. This is more for seniors. The all you can eat mussels are great but my lobster was over cooked. We tried it but will probably not try it again.
Always delicious! Great, authentic environment. It's no wonder they have served over 1,000,000 lobster dinners. Friendly and efficient staff. Large servings. Well worth the price.
This has been a family staple for decades. So pleased to be able to get back to Nova Scotia and go to a lobster dinner with my family.
Amazing and friendly... best lobster supper around!!
She's lit bud ????????????????????????
Went for a conference banquet, where we were served lobsters (with other options as well). They did a great job efficiently hosting a large group.
Awesome family reunion trip last meal locAtion. Excellent down home cooking and Amazing service staff.
The staff that works here are all fantastic!super nice people!friendly and welcoming.the decor is nice too the seagulls hanging on the ceiling have a cute little story as to how they were acquired and the lobster was melt in your mouth…the best I’ve ever had actually.visit this place if your in this gorgeous area.
Better than best !!!!
Amazing weekend when Matt Mays plays!
It's the Shore Club... What can I say?
A great find on our trip to Nova Scotia. Great food!
Friendly staff but food only ok. $33.95 for 9/10 of a pound small lobster with all you can eat cultivated mussles and all you can eat salad bar. Mediocre at best. Lobster was warm when I got it, salad bar was nothing to write home about, for dessert I chose blueberry shortcake/tea biscuit?Any way the cake /biscuit was dry and hard with little or no flavour. The wild blueberries of course we're Fabulous! Whipped cream (fresh ;) on top of it all looked wonderful, but too too much. The coffee was just some weak water....disappointed in the food as this place has great history and most people I spoke to said it was worth going to ;( Really felt overall it was over priced for what I got. However, I have to add that there is no price on the history and ambiance so I guess I can come away with the fullness from that and be satisfied. Good luck to you , E
Awsome! Great service and atmosphere!!
Great music venue!
Went here for a wedding. It was like stepping back in time into the set for Dirty Dancing. Building was unique and quaint. Perfect for a wedding. Rustic and divine. Bar staff as well as catering staff was great. Things are a little dated. Grounds were beautiful. Views amazing! Signage could use some updating as well.
Amazing food, great staff and service. Loved the comfortable atmosphere and the history of the Shore Club!
Great atmosphere. Didn't eat the lobster but the people that accompanied me did and they loved it. Friendly staff.
Classic all you can eat mussels with your lobster dinner... brother in law raved about the potatoe salad!
Great supper served by very friendly folks
Great restaurant. My friend and I did a bicycle trip and rode 45km to this restaurant. Up on entering we are greeted with all you can eat steamed muscle. The lobster were cooked to perfection. Definitely worth visiting.
Love the Shore Club for a fun night out with friends!
Where else could you get a lobster dinner, all the mussels you can eat and an incredible salad bar for a modest $45. Oh and did I forget the amazing blueberry shortcake for dessert.
Best lobster supper experience in maritimes. We go at least once a year.
Unique place with very friendly staff. Our lobsters tasted fresh and juicy, and the unlimited mussels did too. Good desserts and salad bar selection. They pre-cut the lobster shell in helpful locations for you to work with. Bit far to go out of your way for (not near much else) but it feels nice when on holiday to go to a place that specialises in something and does it well. You could fit it in a trip to the south shore (Lunenburg).
Wonderful and traditional lobster feast
Great time here! Good food with the vibe to match. Highly recommended!
I just wish it wasn't a live band playing lol give me the top 40, or some 2000's and remixes lok
Went for the Matt Mays show on the weekend. The concert itself was a blast! The beer was cold. The racist paintings of natives on the support posts are despicable. I asked about the blatant racism and was told "It's always been there." Well it is time to remove it.
Great historic atmosphere, very friendly staff. Salad bar and mussels are fantastic, lobster is divine, and the blueberry shortcake is very tasty.
A wonderful experience for someone that has never experienced a "traditional" Lobster Supper. The lobster was really good. The unlimited salad bar was appreciated, the unlimited fresh steamed mussels were good (it was my first mussel so I'm no expert). The included dessert is a nice touch - nothing outstanding but nobody was declining it! Our table also bought a bottle of wine for the table at an extremely fair price. Staff was all very friendly and service was quick!
My girlfriend and I wanted a nice lobster dinner before our flight home. We had an amazing meal. The lobster was quite sweet and absolutely delicious. The mussels were terrific but on the small side. It really didn't matter since it was unlimited. The price was fair and compared to downtown Halifax, the price and meal is better here. The entertainment was truly great with a young man who played the fiddle. This was the exact maritime experience we wanted!!!
It was a wonderful gem which served great food at a reasonable price.
All you can eat steamed mussels come with the salad bar
Great place to stop in for a lobster dinner! All you can eat salads, mussels and rolls with your lobster entree. Very friendly staff! If you are looking for an evening out I would recommend the Shore Club for all seafood lovers.
My first time eating a whole lobster. This is the place to go. It is all about the lobster experience, but all-you-can-eat mussels was great too. The live Acadian fiddler was a nice touch.
Great service! Family friendly staff! And great food! Definitely worth the drive out
Had a fantastic time delicious yummy yummy Alyssa was wonderful very nice young lady.
Excellent place for lobster and all you can eat mussels.
The amazing Dance Hall and lobster supper experience.
Always a good time at the shore club.
Was there for a wedding. Great food and atmosphere!
Best live music awesome venue. Amazing lobster suppers!
Everyone should go to the Shore Club atleast once in their lives, but better every year. Yummy Lobster! ????
Oldest and best dancehall in Nova Scotia also the place to have a lobster dinner
Went for a lobster dinner on Thur. Service was and is good. Salads, buns and muscles all great. Now the lobster left lots to be desired. My date sent hers back because it was so tough. Mine was just a little tough. Her second lobster was better than the first but still not great. The poor folks visiting from Edmonton at the next table, ate theirs then complained to us later. They said they got better lobster in Edmonton. Doesnt say much for out Atlantic lobster.
Awesome
My first time eating lobster and I couldn't have chosen a better place. Such a relaxed, happy place with amazing staff, food and company. I'd you are in the area you MUST come here ❤️
A must if you are in the Halifax area!! A highlight of my most recent trip out east! I will be back!! The salad bar has unlimited mussels to enjoy with your meal!!
The best place
Lobster supper was amazing. Steak supper not so much. Staff was amazing. Fun atmosphere. Highly recommend this place for lobster!
A must try spot if you like lobster! The Mussels were amazing too! Come hungry and expect a full meal. The décor was visually appealing and the staff were welcoming.
Awesome experience. This is a wonderful place with great people and a cool story. Well worth the trip out of Halifax for the lobster.
Excellent Lobster Supper with fresh steamed mussels and lots of different salads
Great atmosphere, fun venue, good food. A must experience!
I recommend that you read the full review before deciding to spend your money here.. Pros: Nice looking restaurant, good salad bar with lots of options, and the desserts were good. Cons: Lobster is inconsistent, the lobster I was served was alright but the lobster my mother was severed had a bad taste to it. It was night and day. When sent back, the response from the staff was rude and they didn’t put any effort into fixing the situation.. Also in my opinion the mussels were pretty bland and were almost cold right out of the container that you get them from. The macaroni and cheese served to my sister was incapably disappointing. It was not worth her paying 32 dollars for a salad, a couple mussels and a macaroni and cheese that she ate 1 bit out of and then didn’t touch. When I gave it a try I didn’t want it either. I could make KD out of the box and it would be better. Conclusion: Not worth the long drive and the 50 dollors for the lobster. My advice would be to save your self some disappointment and money, just cook yourself a much better lobster dinner at home.. Or I did have a great experience at New Glasgow Lobster in PEI although it’s a longer dive.
Great setting. Lobster was fresh and tasty.
Good food & good service
The Shore Club is Nova Scotia's version of a lobster supper. You get an all you can eat mussel and salad bar and your choice of one of three lobster sizes. The supper is priced on your lobster size choice. With drinks and the largest size lobster, dinner for two will be about $150. Well worth it. We go two or three times a season.
We all had a treat at the Shore Club with very tasty lobster feed plus salad bar, mussel, and "healthy" desert
An absolutely amazing time, tough to get to but a fantastic experience to be wrapped up into. Salud, and don't forget to applaud as others come in, it's only polite.
Great lobster of course. Main washrooms are in the basement. I will return for another feast.
Asia and Nugruv were playing when I went to celebrate my friend's 50th at the Shore Club. The band was excellent with their strong musicianship and crowd engagement. The dance floor is large and it was hopping all night long. This venue has friendly staff. The least attractive part is the downstairs bathroom which is rather dingy and not very clean. If you like to dance, this is the place to go!
A must do for visitors to Nova Scotia and all fortunate blue nosers living in this special province! A special experience, that simply put, cannot be experienced anywhere else! After dinner you will realize just what a bargain the price was for the unique atmosphere and hospitality!! An unforgettable evening! Thank you!
Not far from the docks if you sail to Hubbards, this is a great place to have a fantastic lobster supper. If you do not like Lobster, they also have great steak. Each meal comes with all your can eat salad bar, mussels, and bread. As well, each meal includes coffee and tea, and desert. While not include they have a good selection of beers and wine, but if it is in the summer, I recommend the Sangria. The servers are very friendly and responsive to your needs.

Was okay
Really good lobster. They say you get "all you can eat mussels" with your lobster meal, but they always run out of mussels so we never get very many. That was the most disappointing part ????
Great venue for live bands
Great experience, we came here to try some local lobster and it didn’t disappoint. The mussels were tasty as well and service overall was quite quick. I wish the butter dishes were wider and there was more butter and definitely need more napkins. The salad was alright nothing too special tho. Felt a bit family back yard style and the restaurant has clearly been here for many decades. Worth checking out if your in town and looking for a local experience.
Delicious Lobster dinners. Great entertainment. This place is 75 years young. A "must go".
This is a story 80 years in the making. It's the story of Nova Scotia, Hubbards, a family. With 5 types of cold pastas and charming, personable service, this is a restaurant out to please each and every table. You get liquid butter when you're sat, for the unlimited mussels, which you dig for yourself from a steamer, filling a container of a size that allows everyone to eat, without overwhelming the kitchen. Drinks are brought to you, unless you want water or coffee, which you get yourself from two different rooms. The server ties your lobster bib. The detailed menu, a placemat, helps fill in the blanks, recalling the restaurant's origin, the wooden seagulls overhead, the floorboards below, how Lady Di ate her lobster and why Canadians raise money in the name of Terry Fox. A full lobster, three types of dessert and you are out the door by 5 PM, along the stunning East Coast shores.
The best lobster dinner in Nova Scotia
This place is great and the best place for a full lobster supper experience. All you can eat salad bar and mussels to start. Your lobster, plus unlimited tea and coffee and of course a dessert to finish. They also have amazing entertainment on most weekends and quite often you can combine the lobster supper with the entertainment and get a guaranteed ticket... highly recommended.
Told about this place from a curling buddy in Ontario so made it a point to get here . Called ahead for a reservation (recommended) and was not disappointed with my first full lobster . I was like a kid in a candy store . Staff was great and helpful .
It's a great place for lobster and has a real summer atmosphere
We just had our first lobster supper experience at the Shore Club. So welcoming. The service and the food are just amazing! Everyone should come and check. Great value too! Bonus tip, try the brownie at the end. Best I ever had ❣
This restaurant has changed a bit, it has lost it’s lustre. I was really excited to return and I left disappointed. The service was okay but could be better. We started with a drink of Sangria...don’t. It’s a pre mixed drink that they add fizz to. “Nova Scotia Style” sangria is sad. We all ordered lobster which was clearly and completely overpriced. It was all over cooked and 3 of our 4 lobsters were cold!!! Disappointing. The all you can eat mussels are not great, they’re cold, over cooked and unseasoned, simply steamed. Oh yeah and who decided a paper plate would be a good idea, they get all soggy and moist from the mussels... At the end, the bill was for over 100$ per couple...not really worth it. Please move on and find a better place.
Never been, I'm in the UK, I'm just posting because my second name is Hubbard :) Would I get a discount because of this? ^_^
It's a fun place to have a seafood meal, and fairly priced, but don't expect perfection. We liked the unlimited mussels. The lobsters were ok to good. The steak in the surf and turf was a marginal cut of beef. We still had fun in the rustic, informal setting. Funny quirks: You ask for coffee and they tell you to go over to the corner of the feeding hall and help yourself.
The Lobster Super is awesome. All you can eat mussels and salat
Highly recommend a visit for anyone in the area or planning a trip. Call ahead for reservations
Nice antiquated bar, a throw back to the good old days
If you want a drive through service with a side of rudeness this is a place for you! The menu is very limited which is absolutely fine, but if I am spending $50 on a lobster dinner with subpar salad selection that I don't even have time to enjoy than I say this is super overpriced. The all you can eat muscles were great but again no time to enjoy due to the rush of the staff. Also super unfriendly for children. There was absolutely zero focus on making sure that the kids also enjoy the atmosphere and therefore make it easier for the parents. I don't think that we will be visiting again. Super expensive and totally under-delivered!
If you can score a ticket check out the annual Matt Mays show every August.
Love the self serve mussels, salad bar, coffee and tea.
Expensive
Just average Staff are very friendly and helpful and service is excellent. But food is very basic, mussels are just steamed with no sauce, boiled lobster which would be fine if the price reflected it.
Unique atmosphere with exceptional after dinner entertainment.
Had a great time. Host was informative and the Lobster Supper was good.
This is absolutely the best lobster supper in Nova Scotia. And also best dance hall.
Always a good time!
Great lobster. Also of some historical interest
Excellent lobster dinner.
Wonderful food and great people..a Maritime jewel...great place to dance too
Both the food and the Saturday dance nights are great! The food all you can eat musscle/ salad bar and the lobster are fresh and full of meat! I hear the stake is really good to!! The dances are not like downtown you get a better vibe with the all different age groups and you have to try the burger before you leave!
This is a Nova Scotian gem! If you're in the area it is a must visit, most amazing atmosphere and experience. You will not be disappointed.
Great food and service. Shore place for lobster ????
Lobster dinner down to a fine art. They've been doing it for 83 years, so they must be doing something right!
Excellent!
Overpriced, but great venue for groups. A small lobster should never be $40, no matter how much free mussels and salad are offered. Food quality is good, but dècor is very average. More food selection would help matters (no chowders, clams, shrimp, fish, etc.) which would give things a more authentic East Coast feel. Staff were very friendly and pleasant, elevating my rating from a 3 to a 4.
As great as everyone said it would be. All the food was excellent and the staff were great.
Our family had an absolutely delicious meal. For the non-seafood guests, there is steak and a stuffed chicken breast which are equally as delicious!
Awesome party!
Great place in a Saturday night for live band and dancing
Amazing food and an amazing atmosphere! A must try in Nova Scotia.
Great band and great dancing!
Fun and authentic Nova Scotia institution
Best Nova Scotia lobster experience. Come hungry leave merry ????. I have been back 4 years in a row and never been disappointed, is amazing! After all the yummy food just walk to the beach, is great! The best is there is at least one option for everyone, the veggie, the gluten free, the chicken lover, the meat shark... everyone who doesn't eat lobster.
Well worth the drive from Halifax to experience a traditional lobster supper. Great value with the all inclusive sides, amazing service, and very kid friendly. Will definitely make a point to return the next time we’re in NS.
The lobster was fantastic, even though I couldn't eat it properly nor finish it. Would recommend for anyone looking for a classic nova scotian lobster dinner. They can hold dances and large groups for dinner, so keep that in mind when planning an event.
The mussels are really good. Salad bar average. Lobster good a bit pricey. It’s like eating in a church hall, just serve yourself kind of thing. The staff are ok , we’ll it’s just a serve yourself place anyway pretty much. Ten times better than Peggys Cove restaurant. Only once there, I felt that they were kind of rushing us out the door.
You cant get any fresher food
This is a classic Nova Scotia experience! Atmosphere, great food, fabulous!
Always great place for lobster dinner. Staff is very attentive and friendly.
Amazing food
Only ever here for entertainment. Shows are always well organized, bar staff is quick, lines move fast. Great venue for sure.
The owner manager that meets you at the door is really rude , with many unreasonable rules. Meal ok but owner kicks you out after meal and makes you stand in line outside again if you are staying for dance. We were being polite and left food area to allow for them to set up for the dance as we had not finished our wine/drinks, moved side bar area. Again asked to go outside without giving opportunity to finish drink. Really disrespected and treated like cattle. Would only take cash at bar. If you want to pay alot of money but be treated like cattle go here, cheers
Always fun
Ok not great. Been in business since 1936. Needs an update
Great show by Rawlins Cross!
Awesome spot saw mat Mayes
Inconsistent food, mussel bar was excellent, salad bar disappointing, lobster was excellent, steak was low quality. The blueberry shortcake that came with the meal was outstanding. The service was efficient and friendly. If your going for lobster which is what it's known for, you'll be happy.
The Shore Club is a very unique place in more than one way. It is a old styled beach house dance hall through the summer months mostly on the weekends or Saturday night. They also serve one of the best lobster suppers with all you can eat muscles along with a salad bar.
Best place in NS to go for a lobster dinner!
Had a lot of fun there...
All I can say is WOW! Friendly folks, AWESOME food, and an interesting environment. A must experience when visiting Nova Scotia.
Best place to dance in Nova Scotia.
Unfortunately I was diappointed with my experience .I have been attending the supper for a number of years and my lobster was undercooked and lacked the flavor of natural sea water .However the service was excellent.
One of the best lobster places I have ever been to, and I have been to hundreds. Do stop if you are going to Peggy's Cove or Lunenberg. It's also worth a drive from Halifax by itself.
Amazing food , unlimited mussels and salad with all menu items, well worth the price
Lobster and unlimited mussels!
Amazing atmosphere and food!
Fantastic venue for food poor great live music
Fun night of seafood!
Fanomanal food and service!
Always an experience! Good food and the kids stuffed themselves with mussels ????
Really fun place. Unique post war dance hall re-imagined as a lobster supper venue. They still put on dances every Saturday night. Great service, reasonably priced drinks, good food and excellent lobster.
Another awesome meal.
Outstanding in every way
The food is good here but I can't get over the price raise from last year. These guys already make a killing at this place and now you go and raise the prices again. Just shocking. Will only be going once this year.
Good food at a great price. Good selection of drinks (missing "No Boats on Sunday" ) all you can eat salad bar and mussels. Service, service, service! They're on the ball!
A fantastic lobster in a warm and charming place. Lots of history here, wish I could have stayed for the music. Best wishes to the family running this place with love.
Great food.
Food was ok. Concert was amazing! Beer line was long.
This restaurant is open since more than 50 years and can really be recommended. Mussels are all you can eat, but ok only since only served with butter sauce. Salads are all you can eat, too, and look home made. All in all a very good deal at that price. Be aware of the opening hours.
Amazing experience, knowledgeable staff who start with a brief history of the club. Food was fantastic on a beautiful Nova Scotia Seaside property. Very impressed and we will be back for “SHORE”.
(Translated) Long live the lobster. Long live the Shore Club Delicious, we loved the concept of this restaurant. (Original) Vive le homard. Vive le Shore Club Delicieux, nous avons adorés le concept de ce restaurant.
Delicious and excellent staff
Loved this place. The Shore Club is definitely worth the drive to Hubbard. Great food and friendly staff make this place a must if you're visiting Halifax. No fuss, no muss and a great experience. Like stepping back in time. Great down home lobster dinner.
Fabulous concert last night. Thank you Shore club!!
The food was great had a good fill
Expect to pay 200.00 for family of four. Food is fab!
Great staff, courteous & caring. Rhys is a great host.
Fantastic food, service, music and fun
Great bands
Great!
Awesome experience was better before COVID with all you can eat mussels but we all have to make sacrifices
Wow. Best lobster that I have had in decades . All the Muscles and salad bar that you can eat. Nova Scotia friendly staff. Ten out of ten.
There is no other place on earth like the shore club
I love the Shore Club shows! The crowd is a good mix so older folks fit in and can relax and dance away the hot summer nights. You really feel like you're part of the show and place. And security does not mess around! No foolishness allowed. Awesome! Beware of drunken angry campers from the nearby campground wandering the parking lot and being a nuisance.
Good buffet and lobster was delicious.

We had a great time at this place. The best lobsters and mussels I've ever had. Lots of lovely salads to pick from and dessert was included. We bought wine by the bottle at a very reasonable price. We stayed for the dance following the meal and a great time was had by all. I can't wait to go back next summer.
Magic...a survivor from a bygone era. Beautiful facility, excellent food and a cool laid back environment. Come down and have a lobster...you won't be disappointed.
This is a lobster shack... The institution since 1946. I do not understand why people complain about prices... This is the best dinner for your money. Family loved the lobster dinner ( all you can eat salad bar, mussels and your choice of cooked lobster in sea water) I got the steak as I am not a seafood guy. I came rare as I ordered and good quality... Staff is super friendly and will make you feel like you are a regular customer.
We had a 1 lb. lobster supper here and it was very good. You get 1 lb. of mussels, 3 different salads, rolls, lobster and dessert. Everything was very good and the service was as well. For the price you can't beat it.
Go
It’s been 4 years and I still think about it
Great place. Food really good. It isn't a fancy place but the service was quick, the food good and the staff very accommodating.
Classic, vintage setting and great food. All you can eat mussels!?! Incredible. What a great place for a meal and wonderful down east vibe.
Lobster was excellent as were the salads. The steak was very good. Service was good and friendly but a little slow. The first bathroom on the left as you enter is handicap accessible. There is no need to go downstairs to the other washrooms. However, handicapped persons will be sharing this bathroom with a significant number of people whose handicaps are not physical. Highly recommend.
My family really enjoyed our dinner at this restaurant last week! The servers were very attentive. The mussels were very fresh. The potatoes on the steak plate were seasoned very well. That lemon cake was to die for. Only complaint is that the kid’s mac and cheese was KD.
Food and atmosphere was actually really good but I had to reduce my star rating because we left with a bad taste in our mouth to the point that we wouldn't actually go back. "Between the hours of 4:00 pm and 4:29 pm, we will take $5.00 off any adult entree." We got in at 4:20 PM, but apparently it has to do with when the order was punched into the system. I didn't mind waiting for the waiter at the time of ordering but I didn't realize it would also cost us $10 for waiting. Honestly, it's not really about the $10, we both ordered a large lobster dinner, which I believe is a heftier item on their menu. It just made us feel like they don't honor their promotions. The food was actually really good. There was a full salad bar that even included AYCE muscles that were really fresh tasting. The lobster dinner also included small dessert. It wasn't anything spectacular, but it finished off the meal nicely.
I can be a harsh food critic. I can only give you kudos for the wonderful Lobster Supper I had yesterday.( PEI take note) Well executed... Very tasty salad bar, Mussels were great and I enjoyed many of them. Also, this was the only place that I have eaten a lobster supper where the lobsters were cooked with the right amount of salt. As a senior, I was delighted to have been able to get this invitation and it was my first time. Hopefully, not my last. I must also say as a baker... that Lemon Cake was soooo good. I would love to have that recipe... Thank you ...
Great environment, awsome staff, lovely meal and a whole lot of fun! Exactly what we were looking for. Cheers!
Great service and good food! Dessert-shortcake could have been heated before serving. But will recommend to all for a delicious dinner!
Best night of the summer, hanging out watching a show. Lots of fun!
Too many spilled drinks on the floor
Love 10 piece band were playing. Good night out
Great place and food
This is an amazing location and a place of history! I figure it's a local restaurant, at least that's how everyone got treated at the Shore Club. Friendly staff, yummy lobster, salad and mussles buffet plus drinks and dessert for a very reasonable price of CAD 45/person. On my next trip to NS, I shall visit again!
Great old dancehall I only wish hat folks would stop standing all over the dance floor and make others feel bad for dancing...
A fun historic place to have a traditional picnic style lobster dinner. The salad bar is pretty basic, but I usually pig out on the all you can eat mussels. They cook a lot of lobsters, so they know how to get them just right every time. They have live music on Saturdays, but it is bit bit loud for my old ears. Hosts are friendly. Blueberry and lemon bar desserts are both amazing. My wife threatens me with serious repercussions if I try to eat any of hers.
Amazing food and service- highly recommend
Always great!
Great place for a lobster dinner and all you can eat muscles!
I love the Shore Club. Whenever the opportunity presents and I am in Halifax I will make the effort to get out to Hubards for a dinner at the Shore Club. Delicious lobster and all you cat eat mussels. What's not to love? The salads are great too. The building is incredibly charming and the atmosphere is like that of a family feast. Simple and comfortable. I smile at the Miriah Carey place at story every time as well. It's on my list of best restaurants anywhere - right up there with Peter Lugers in Brooklyn. I highly recommend the Shore Club to anyone who is in the Halifax area with a car. It's worth the trip and I bet it won't be your only time!
Best lobster supper I ever had would love to go again and see the live shows
Expensive diner - Often hosts all you can eat lobster suppers and live music events.
Awesome venue.
Great spot..very casual..serve yourself kinda place....sll u can eat assorted salad and mussels....lobster very good..add an 8oz steak for only 10 bucks...great service..would highly recommend...friendly staff
Casual self serve. Wonderful steamed mussels. Nice salad bar. Lobster supper in true down home style. I had blueberry shortcake desert... Terrific. Reservations recommended.
Mussels are fantastic, lobsters usually very good, nice salads, desert excellent and very pleasant staff. Would like a nice seafood chowder.
Great night time entertainment here, always a good time. Lovely staff.
Mussels where cold not good not enough salad
Staff were extremely rude to myself and friends.
Great food; great service. Not much more to ask for.
Best food ever !
Excellent in all areas. Highly recommend it.
One of the best restaurants for lobsters in Nova Scotia! Lobsters were cooked perfectly and the mussels were big an juicy! Servers were friendly and helpful in describing how a traditional lobster dinner works. Don't forget to check out their neat gifts near the entrance of the restaurant.
fun place great energy
Great lobster. Perfectly cooked
Fantastic staff & great food!
Nice place to grab a lobster and mussels after seeing Peggy's Cove.
Absolutely amazing experience! Delicious lobster, stellar salad selection, and amazing staff. I even tried mussels for the first time and loved them. The atmosphere was busy and exciting. Great experience and I am kicking myself that I didn’t pick up a tshirt. Definitely worth the beautiful drive.
The lobster was fresh and tasted great. However the salads and desserts are clearly mass produced and were not good quality. Sadly the water, coffee and fountain pop were very unpleasant.
Always fun
Awesome
You haven't been down east until you've had the lobster supper here ????
Fantastic lobster supper tonight at the Shore club with great friends. We are never disappointed with our food and service.
Amazing lobster supper.
Excellent lobster supper complete with unlimited salad bar and mussels as well as dessert. Great decor and history. A must try for any tourist and local!
Great venue , it never disappoints
