100% worth coming here. We’re from Markham and all the options here suck so for a short 20 min drive you get quick and friendly service, clean rooms with easy to use machines at dirt cheap rates. Staff explained how to use everything well and they were very accommodating. Definitely coming back here more often!

I searched their website for even a mention of food for sale there, but there was none, so I bought some on the way, but the person I dealt with said they did serve food and wanted me to throw it out and buy their food (which could have been only Doritos or something, because I wasn't even told what sort of food they had the entire time, and was never presented with a menu). I explained how that makes no sense since I would never have bought it if they had mentioned food for sale anywhere on their website, and it would be a waste. He said I could bring it in for $10. Um, no. After a bunch of back and forth about all this he said "This is the last time." And I agreed. Mostly because I never intend to return after his attitude. The music selection in English is not good at all and not well organized. It definitely didn't have any new music. Then near the end of out time, the same guy was pushy about us leaving the room for another group. We were talking a bit in the lobby a little later when we were essentially told to leave. By... surprise...the same guy. I would give zero stars if there was that option.

From my experience here, it's a pretty good karaoke place. The rooms here are spacious, clean, and feature a good karaoke system. The sound system worked well and the sound quality was high. I also had no problems when it came to finding and queuing songs to sing. I believe that the pricing can be a possible issue, however since I went it a large group, the pricing once divided was quite average for a karaoke place in and around Toronto

5 star to the manager who has been a super nice gentleman to us, and zero star to his sister who treated us like we were stray dogs that broke in. When I got back to the bar to thank the gentleman for being nice to us and my friends, the sister came again interrupting and asking us what we wanted, I said I just wanted to speak with the nice man, she then started yelling at me saying I was ignoring her. Yes I was ignoring you. You can't expect to get things done with a rude manner. Please try to be like your brother, he is a great example. This place is like 100m away from my apartment, I'd come here every weekend if the lady wasn't rude to us.

The books are badly organized it's hard to find songs we asked for balloons in the room for a birthday and they forgot. also One mic stopped working and there was a lot of squeaking coming from the microphone I do not recommend

I've been a patron here for about 8 years. It was originally managed by a person named Jay who was fantastic. We would host most of our parties and gatherings here, buying premium bottles. Our bills would be over $1000+ each time. The management here would take care of us and comp the room costs since we would buy 3-5 premium bottles each time. And they provided the best customer service. When Jay left, I understood it was taken over by new management. Danny was the new manager, and it took some time but he was also willing to keep us happy since we came so frequently and were good customers. Fast forward to 2020, we went here for our new years celebration. It was not being managed by a person named Hun. We opted to purchase our usual premium alcohol, and originally we had a large group. When we got there, they forced us to prepay for our bill (which was very unusual), but even worse, they refused to comp our room costs even though we've been receiving this for over 8 years. The room costs were an additional $400 on top of our bill! We refused, and they said we had no other option because the entire studio was booked up that night. They said hey we can discount you, and we agreed because it was new years eve, paid but we didn't purchase as many bottles that night given that they were up charging us an extra $400 for the room. In addition, the karaoke machine we usually use has a lot of English songs. They said they stopped using those, and only use the Korean machine which has old English songs. The newest song is probably from 2017 and there are a handful of them only. Also leading into the night (11pm, 12am) more than HALF of the rooms were empty which meant we could have acquired a smaller, cheaper room. I asked Hun why he said the rooms were booked up when they clearly weren't, and he laughed and walked away. Overall given our last experience where we were charged $700 for 2 premium bottles and room charges, our group of friends made the decision that we will no longer come to Studio after our 8 years of commitment. We even pre-tipped them without knowing their service. 1. It used to be a great place, but the new management does not know how to keep their long time customers happy. They have no relationship building with us, when we've likely dropped thousands of dollars here over the years. 2. They don't have good selection of english music. No new music at all, so only come here if you want music made before 2000's. 3. They used to give a whole bunch of chasers etc. but now they give you 4 cans of pop. FYI we bought 2 premium bottles :-) and 4 cans of pop. Hope Studio can make some changes to be what it used to be. Until then, we will never return. Hey maybe we'll open our own karaoke bar down the street.

The facility is good and clean. The service is slow since there’s two people tending to many rooms. You can bring outside food, but no beverages whatsoever. We entered with great attitudes towards the karaoke experience. The machine broke down on us, the microphone broke down, then the remote went. We were moved to a different room only to be asked to pay for a full alcohol bottle if we wanted a VIP room. The other room was worse in seating (downgraded from couch seating to wood) and appearance, but the machine worked. It is not at all user friendly. It takes a very long time to pick a song and the remote is a disaster to use. For all this trouble, they gave us an extra 40 minutes. I’m not at all impressed by the place. $50/hour was unheard of. Would not recommend for many many reasons. I’m glad I was with a close group of friends to make the best of it, but this experience ruined my karaoke expectations. There are many others that have better reviews, and this one I can see how the ratings will continue to go lower.

The remote and everything was so difficult to use. A lot of our time was spent on trying to figure out how to use it. It's just hard to follow because the format is so different and in Korean. Hope it's somehow easier to do so.

Avoid this place. Go down the street and find another place to spend your time and money. This was absolutely the worst experience I've had with a karaoke in my life and I've been to many. Not only were the staff rude, upon entry they will take your money upfront for a specific amount of time. No problem, if the rooms and systems worked. There was no DA system and as their solution they brought in a mediocre bluetooth speaker, it was 10 minutes into the room when they couldn't get it to work so we wanted a refund. We were told absolutely not, it was 10 MINUTES of room time and we paid for 3 hours. Total came up to be $200 for about 20minutes, 10 minutes after to see if we could see if we could work it out to enjoy our time. Not worth wasting time here so we left without any refund. It was a friend's birthday, I'd rather him enjoy his night then waste his time here. Poorly run business

Waste of time coming here ! would not recommend. All the 1 star ratings are accurate ! It took our group so long to figure out the machine as its so outdated. When we finally did find some good artists, they had like 1 or 2 songs available and they didn't have lyrics! ALSO The demo the employee gave us was very quick and never came back to serve us. Been to many Karaoke places in the past, and this by far was the worst.

SUPER outdated songs. Speaking from a person who goes to karaoke places often the karaoke machine was terrible. Half the time the remote did not work and most of the "new songs" were music videos with the artists singing the songs themselves which is the opposite of karaoke. They don't even have good old songs. The service was good and the setting itself was nice. Though the song list and karaoke machine were lacking. In addition, this place was super overpriced. I've been to better karaoke places for cheaper prices.

Fun spot for karaoke. Rooms were clean and comfortable, and the song selection was quite vast. If you want tambourines, you would have to ask the staff which was an easy process. The to rooms are also quite large so can house many people. Great Friday night spot.

My favourite place the karaoke on Yonge! They have a lot of updated songs and they usually let you stay 10 minutes extra to finish your list of songs. It was fun having many old and current songs to sing. For the more recent ones just search it on the screen rather than the book. They even gave us an explanation of the korean remote. Would definitely visit again!

Called this place 2 days prior to reserve a large room to no answer every time. When I got there and told them I had called they acted like I was calling the wrong #. As we got there the young girl asked how many and we said 8 she left and talked wit the guy at the register then came back and said they would be full all night. However another group of koreans came and they got a room. Clear racism.

Awesome spot! Rented a room for a birthday party. The staff were extremely friendly, helpful, and accommodating. Room was awesome, drink selection was great, and for a $10 food feed you can bring in all your own food. Everyone had lots of fun. Would 100% recommend this to anyone!

Came here for my birthday and we were not impressed. Luckily we are a fun group so made the most out of it but otherwise this place needs some help! The drinks were over-priced and they do not have any food! Luckily they did say we could order food and have it delivered there but it seemed like such a hassel, especially because their website said they offered food (hope they've updated their site by now). The music selection was decent but many of their songs didnt have the words to sing along! Strange for a karaoke place.

Cool looking place. And I think that with a few changes it could easily become a great experience. 1) I did not go to karaoke to get scored and booed by the machine. I went there to have a good time, who cares if I don't know the song? Still dancing to it. why boo? 2) When a song finishes, automatically play a random popular song while we think what to sing next. So that the rhythm continues. 3) Place a button to call for assistance in each room. 4) Offer water and snacks soo people drink more.

Apparently there has been new management. I had a great night with a group of 10. The people working there are really nice and the bartenders are really nice. The only downside would be the lacking English selection but we still had a great time with the the songs. It’s also an extra $10 to bring in food which is kind of meh but it was worth it. Our VIP room had an odd layout with little lighting, but everything worked out.

CHARGED US $50 FOR ONE HOUR! They charge for the room, and then $30 an hour and expect tip. Waay too overpriced, the service wasnt good. The staff were lounging around watching baseball whenever I needed service. Do not recommend.

It was a great experience and service by the staff was great. Kimmy the main bartender there is definitely a pleasure to deal with as she is informative and very well mannered. We got the VIP room and it was really spacious and they were very accommodating to our needs. Been here a few times and its always a great time. If you're looking for a karaoke spot in North York with fair prices; would recommend this place and Kimmy if shes working will definitely take care of you like she did us :)

My review was deleted... don't know how. But thankfully I saved it on my phone! A lot of the songs didn't have lyrics. Not very updated with song selection. They have a menu but didn't serve anything. We had to go to the nearby sushi restaurant and pizza restaurant to get food. Not only did they not have any food to offer from the menu, they also charge an additional $10 to have outside food in the room too. They offered to decorate the room for a birthday... but it was just a few balloons hanging from the walls. The room was spacious and clean... but that's not enough for me to ever return back or refer any friends to do karaoke here. Hugely disappointing!

Clean and friendly. Great location. Song selection is okay but a bit light on English. Remote control navigation is a bit awkward but u can make it work. Having an app like bar-plus would take studio lounge to the next level. Even publishing song list in web would allow customers to pick their favorites in advance and save time by knowing the 6 digit codes. Mics occasionally stopped working but staff were very quick to fix. VIP room claims 25 but 18-20 Is more realistic. A smaller table that allows people to walk around would help.

Also, disappointed in the fact that they do not serve snacks or appetizers. We were here for a birthday and they didnt even have plates to serve cake.

Denied me a room, said they were closing, larger group came in and they went straight to a room. There is a lot of favoritism / racism here. This area is sort of full of it. It's too bad. I don't get people and their intolerance. Why come to Canada in the first place? I think these people feel they bought their citizenship or residency so they don't have to believe in the whole multicultural thing. It's really a shame. Anyway there's your one star, enjoy it. I'm sure it won't be the last.

Decent spot for karaoke. Parking not super convenient. Private rooms but they're pretty close together so you can really hear the other rooms and how much worse your voice is than theirs. The controller was also really hard to use to pick songs. There was a bar in the main waiting area with a DJ who was reaaaallllyyyy into his own mix and looked like he was on meth or something. The bartender looked like he was struggling to hear the people trying to order drinks. Doesn't really make sense because there would only really be like 3 people in that waiting area and no one was dancing so the super loud mix wasn't really necessary. Who knows why it was so loud though. Maybe it was just the meth.

Got dragged here by a friend. The liquor selection is limited, washrooms are gross. Staff is nice to regulars but very cold to newcomers. I don't see how they expect to grow business, but they had several clients anyway.

Terrible experience. My group of friends and I go to karaoke often and this was the first and last time we'll be here. Their pin pad was not working and asked us to pay cash, which was already inconvenient to get cash for a room that was $66/hour. Once we got our room, they barely showed us how to navigate through their system. After we finally figured it out, they did not have many of the songs that we were looking for. We paid for 2 hours, and after 30 minutes were fed up with the lack of song selection and wanted to leave. We asked the manager for money back for whatever time we haven't used, when she proceeds to point to a tiny sign saying no refunds. We had already made an exception and agreed to pay in cash, so she could have just given us the cash back. The manager was not only rude, but starting giving us attitude as if we were being unreasonable and unusual for a group to end their session early. A nice place appearance-wise, but not worth the headache.

My daughter had her 18th birthday party here tonight. It was perfect. We had a vip room for approx 20 teens and everyone had a great time. We brought our own food. The staff were extremely nice and helpful and made sure everything went smoothly. Highly recommend for a unique and fun birthday party.

I don’t know how this place gets the reviews it does. I don’t think it would be from English speaking karaoke singers. Beware ! Their English song list has obscure artists or obscure songs by known artists. Some songs don’t even have the lyrics to follow along. The reason we were given was something to do with the license. Well I don’t know how it legally works with licences for songs but they obviously don’t want to bother. Worst of all, the technology is crappy! Old!! searching for songs is painful and the sound and actual picture very average. Spend your money elsewhere Don’t believe even the 2 stars.

This is an amazing Korean style karaoke bar right above Sushi Moto in North York. We went for a birthday and had a group of about 15 people. I had called and made a reservation to make sure they'd have room for us and they were very friendly and accommodated some last minute changes which was amazing. When we arrived at Studio Lounge, they upgraded us to a larger room for free which was really great. The selection of English songs was solid, and although the remote was a little glitchy at times, it didn't detract from the experience. Highly recommend checking this place out if you're in the area!

When asked for a room, they said no. When I asked why, I was told it was because they were closing soon (one hour to be exact). They said, "next time, make a reservation", and I replied, "no thanks". So here's your 1 star review. If your employees want to rush home and not make money, why bother having a business in the first place?
