Here you have the reviews of people who are buying the services of Shipyards Night Market (Night Club) in the territory of North Vancouver (Canada).
At present this business has a score of 4.5 stars out of 5 and the score is based on 127 reviews.
You must have seen that it has an average rating is basically the best one, and it's based on a large number of opinions, so we can say that the evaluation is very accurate. If many people have bothered to give their feddback when they've done well with the business, it works.
You know that we don't usually stop to put tatings when these are positive and we usually do it only if we have had a problem or issue...
This Night Club is classified in the category of Night market.
Great vibe, outdoors for music dancing food and drink. A quick ferry from downtown, a must see if you are in the area.
Awesome music, lots of awesome food (see our instagram for more details on the food trucks there!), and beautiful view. I kinda like this more than the Richmond night market.
First time at the shipyards nightmarket. Quite enjoyed the selection of food trucks. The live music was wonderful. A good amount of vendors selling handmade things. It's definitely something to do on a Friday night. Finding parking wasn't too bad as there is alot of parking lots around and street parking.
The Shipyards is a newly built wharf next to the Longsdale Quay market & the Seabus terminal in North Vancouver. It has similar vibe to Coal Harbour, Olympic village, & Steveston Village. Tons of contemporary restaurants, coffee shops, & shopping. Lots of public outdoor seating built on the wharf (yellow tables & chairs). Alcohol can be consumed outdoor, in a designated area. Modern residential condominiums nearby with million dollar views. Yachts, speed boats, & helicopter spectacles can occasionally be seen. It's a very entertaining area & worth a visit.
Such a great time for family and enjoying the waterfront.
Great vibe and food trucks, get down early cuz the food trucks will sell out. Great music entertainment.
It's a great outing, especially during the warmer months. The views are lovely, the vibe really good, easy to get to on the water bus. I love the line up of food trucks too. I expected more artisans with a wider variety of artwork but was quite disappointed by the meager selections. There are all lovely things but many are similar. For an evening out, good food, some music and nice views, its worth a visit.
The night market on Fridays is great for a variety of foods, drinks and entertainment. Lots of food trucks selling dinner and sweets in many portion sizes. Lines can be long until about 830. There are also many vendors selling baked goods, crafts, local alcohol, etc. Good spot to find small batch unique gin and other liquor. Scenery is excellent.
Great Fri evening to do. The popcorn is a must! Great food carts, beer garden and live music!
Very crowded and had a very excited feeling I loved it as a first time night marketer
Great food trucks, fun music, nice mix of vendors
Great atmosphere and energy! An excellent date night to catch some live music here and browse the very interesting shops!
Nice place for family hangouts! Market is nice and lots to experience
What an awesome Friday night location...great music...lots of food and desert to choose from...be prepared for the crowds...busy
Lots of interesting vendors and food trucks. Had a good swing band the night we went.
Great food, nice venue, great for little kids as well. We go many times during the summer
Was there as a solo business traveller seeking an interesting experience to unwind and have fun. Had a really fun time and enjoyed the variety of food, drink, entertainment and great conversations leading to more fun. Glad to be led rather than leading!
Lots of food trucks and cute market stalls.
Great truck selection and an excellent ambiance. The only real drawback is the extremely long lines. You have to commit to a truck together with your group or spend 25 minute apart trying to get food. It's very busy and popular.
Great place to go on a cute date !
My favourite night market in town with a good mix of food trucks, local vendors, music, and a beer garden. All along the waterfront.
Good food and drinking water options, try the "Aguas Frescas" really nice!
Friday night food and entertainment market
Unique waterfront space to walk through...beautiful view across the ocean to the city of Vancouver .
This is nice event yearly between June and mid September. Live music and food trucks plus local sellers are located in very beautiful ocean view harbour. This time I tried Pakora food from a guy that believed in this business for long time. That was delicious and crispy.
Very different from the Richmond night market. Less cellular phone knick knack and more homemade products.
Always fun to visit the night market here. North Van comes alive on Friday nights which is great as it barely has a pulse otherwise.
Super cool outdoor market here with live music surrounded by a gazillion food trucks.
The Shipyard's Night Market takes place in North Vancouver, every Friday night. The event hosts numerous food trucks and stands, as well local products and vendors can setup to sell thier goods. The stage area has bands playing and a corner for those who wish to have a drink. Its is growing each year and is a wonderful addition to the area.
Good place to hang out on Friday Night Evenings. Beer is too overpriced. They are selling 330ml can for $7,50. Crazy.. But atmosphere is good and food trucks are tasty.
Great place to be at on summer Friday nights. Lots of food trucks to choose from. Very lively environment.
The night market was absolutely lovely. The selection of vendors and overall atmosphere was spot on.
Very popular for a reason! Many Food Trucks and market vendors. Live music and beer gardens. 5-10 Friday night's May - Sept. Also note Free parking available one block west of Lonsdale at ICBC!
Food was great (we tried the brisket poutine, mac n' cheese, mini donuts) and very reasonably priced; good vibes and location.
Great variety. Family oriented. Very busy as it right at quay. A must do!
A lot of good food truck and live music
The Royal Canadian Navy was in town just in time for our visit to the Shipyards Night Market. Food trucks, live bands, buskers, arts & crafts, face painting gave it a carnival atmosphere. The sun was still up at 8pm and it felt like late afternoon so we lost track of time. The best part was that there were no entrance fees to the market..#hmcsregina #shipyardsnightmarket @ North Vancouver, British Columbia
During summer every Friday they have live music and food trucks all around. It's a great outdoor activity with a nice view from the pier.
Loved it! Fun band and delicious food. Got a little brisk at night so bring a jacket!
Fun! Great beer tent. Great band. Great food trucks!
Too tight to walk easily but once the new building is done it should be better
PAmazing food, lively music great walk on the pier
It's like a party to start your weekend...finger licking good food, music you could dance to, different stalls to buy things..& infront of Quayside Market..open air salsa classes you could join or see couples learning the steps
Too crowded and more of a gift market with food trucks than Farmers market. I miss having more produce. Food trucks average.
Nice place to finish off the week. Food trucks, local artists and live music.
It was bigger then I thought it would be. Lots of great options for food, some beautiful crafts and lovely views. Next time I'm going to come a bit later so I can miss the dinner rush.
Very busy on Friday nights. Good music, lot of food trucks to choose from and vendors selling their good. Fun!
Came to see the Peruvian ship
Live music, food trucks, and cute vendors!
Food trucks. Live music. Local crafts and artists. A beer garden and a bustling city skyline at sunset. Oh and food trucks.
The shipyards is quite a fun event to go to especially when they have the and then there every Friday or Saturday night I don't remember but is fun go to it and they have a lot of culturally diverse Foods so be prepared to be a good foodie before you go
Good market, lots of interesting variety. Layout could be better - exit/bathroom area was too crowded
Small, but fun night activities
Awesome food, budget prices, lively place n crowd
A place where you can have good, fun, time with your family. Live band, food trucks and good dederts as well, with a nice view by the water.
Lots of local sellers and food trucks. Open on Fridays and can get quite busy as it is free to enter.
Typical lower mainland food trucks, the market itself it just OK...but the live music is amazing. Every band we've heard so far has been incredible...we even have plans to come back on a specific date in 2 +months just to see one of the bands. They were that good.
It's a must do if you're visiting Vancouver from May to end of September
Great family fun! Crowded when the weather is good. Good selection of food trucks and live music. Take your food and walk down the pier to snag a seat to eat then join the beer garden or stage seating and enjoy some great music!
Great market with a great variety of food!
I have to say it's the best place on a Friday night in North Vancouver in the summer. Great entertainment under the stars. A street market, food trucks galore and a view of the water you can't beat!
Great setting, food, and music. The family loves it and now associates the market with the arrival of summer.
Loved the food trucks, live band, and vendors in this market. Would come back again next year!
Nice view of downtown Vancouver. Great food and beer.
An excellent place to spend your friday nights! The live music, street food vendors and beer garden make for an awesome time
Great experience here. Many great choices for food from the various food trucks that station here. Prices aren't outrageous like they are at the Richmond night market and they also have quality products for sale from the several merchants. A must go!
Pretty cool, not super busy and a lot of food truck selection. The beer garden could use more seating
Beautiful artisan works. Lots of food trucks.
Great food trucks and amazing local vendors.
Great place to eat enjoy the music and shop
Lots of great food trucks, music, people & informal.
I went during their summer event and it was a little too crowded for my liking (even though the space is actually quite large), but such a gorgeous and bustling space. There is a splash zone which is great for families, lots of cool seating (even spots overlooking the water), beautiful view of the waterfront and an indoor space for lots of vendors. Definitely worth multiple visits on both event and non-event days, just be wary of crowds if there's an event.
Friday nights have never been more entertaining. Live music, beer, more food trucks than you can imagine, local vendors with craft goods all outside right by the water and in a rustic building.
Decent views for evening walks. Pricey food trucks - hyped by social media and a novelty more than actual good food imo. Live performance/music is ok, beer garden congested. Industrial area / residential condos/ retail space under renovation.
Soooo many food trucks to try. The atmosphere is great because young and old mingle taking in the variety of food available. And there are always good bands playing. It's busy but don't let that discourage you. Try the popsicles. They are the best you will ever have!
Very busy, with a lively atmosphere, music, and a wide variety of different food available for purchase.
Pro: Good location. Close to free* parking, great selection of food trucks and live music. Con: lot of the food trucks is overpriced. They allow dogs ( for some people this may be a con) the market area is small. Not enough bathrooms. * Free parking is in the under parking lot and it's only 2 hours free parking
What fun! So many food trucks, live music and shopping. Runs from early May through October.
Lots of food trucks, the music is usually good, there's lots of vendors looking to share their products - usually some pretty cool stuff. Nice atmosphere, the last time I ate pakora and it was amazing, wouldn't go by myself, but I think it's worth a stop by if you want to spend a Friday night at the quay.
Great atmosphere! Great food trucks! Great music! Great beer!
Crowded. Long lines. We went to have food truck food for dinner. We ended up making one lap to see what we could see then leaving to go eat somewhere else.
The radio said that there would be more food trucks but the music was ok
Love the energy that this new Night Market brings to Vancouver. Just an awesome way to spend a summer Friday night. They've got every food you can imagine, great music, and awesome crafters to wander through. The craft markets have all sorts of jewellery, local craft wine, beer and spirits, and other community artisans. Check it out already!
Always crowded when the weather is good. My favorite hangout place on Friday night.
Love the food trucks. Parking is kinda tough.
Food trucks and other small vendors gather in one area during the summer. Bands play some music, and local vendors sell their wide variety of services and wares. If you like supporting local then this is a good place to go shopping for fun.
Great vibe here. Has a beer garden and great view.
Good food. Nice merchandise. Friendly vendors
Lovely way to spend an evening. Lots to see, eat & be merry & enjoy a relaxing evening walk.
Nice area. But the food is same price as a restaurant (not cheap). I rather eat at a sit down restaurant.
Always a great place to go to get a variety of food and see an awesome array of entertainment
Plenty of great food stands, good music, and terrific vibe. A bit bigger crowd makes it difficult to navigate but such is life ;-)
Beautiful place. Awesome foods! Easy access on parking.
Their selection is shifting so check here first before Shopping elsewhere.
Too many sellers crowding the small area and its hard to move around...they really need to plan it better
Fabulous. Excellent place to enjoy visiting at Friday's night. Have good food, music, things to buy from abilities local's artisans.
Fun place to spend weekend night. Various hand made goods and entertainments.
Great new gathering location on the north shore!
Great place to eat and watch the sunset
Fun night market in North Vancouver. Mainly just food trucks and some live music
It is well-lit, spacious, safe, and a good place to be with kids.
We really really enjoyed the music, food and craft market! Amazing view came along with it.
Gary's popcorn is the best around... and to wash it down with a cold flavor lemonade... to die for...
Wide selection of food trucks. Nice atmosphere. But it's still food truck food. Below-average quality food for above-average prices. Perhaps good for a night out once a year.
Great market to attend will be back in the future only part I didnt like was being approached by a few different people asking for signatures for their petitions against the pipeline and our family is for the pipeline we listened to their speal but when it came to us asking questions and for more details on why they were against the pipeline they just said some rude remark and walked away
Great family event, live music, lots of food trucks, many arts and crafts. Only runs on Friday nights during May to September. Venue is right on the pier, incredible views of downtown.
Music, artisans, food trucks, beer garden and community vibe, what is there not to love!
Great environment. Delicious variety of food. A great place to unwind from a week of work and a great way to start the weekend.
A fun place to meet friends or to take your out of town visitors to. Local artists display their creativity and relaxing music helps to set the tone for a great vibe that will create great memories.
Such a beautiful setting with an amazing view of Vancouver. Live music, craft vendors, food trucks, a good crowd...lots of energy on warm spring and summer nights. Runs every Friday through September. Check it out!
Nice views on the water. Great entertainment on stage. Pick your food cart wisely!
Great selection of food trucks, artisan vendors and entertainment. Can be a little crowded but overall a solid experience for both locals and tourists.
A great place to go on the weekend during the summer
The vibes here are calm and joyful. Different from vancouver or richmond where markets like these feel stuffy and restless.
Always a favourite spot to go. Beautiful views of the city during the day and night. Many services in an around the area, from the Lonsdale market, to restaurants. With the night market going during the summer the vibe is fun and upbeat. Definitely a place to visit.
Always a fun adventure ... great food and fun ... check out the chiropractic screening booth
Live music, playground for children, handicrafts, and a lots of food! You got food stands, food trucks, and the only thing you need to worry about is not having enough space for them! As a vegan, it surprised me that there are quite a few vegan choices: Chickpeas, Rolling cashew, and Eat the dishes. Also found two ice cream stands selling vegan options. It was a lovely experience!
It's so amazing here. For both kids and adults. I will have to check it out every Friday, with my family. ????
Lots of food trucks! Good life music. Nice atmosphere. Not that big so can get crowded.
All catered for kids and alcoholics with bottomless wallets
Great variety of awesome food and vendors selling locally made goods!
Fantastic during the summer, live music, food truck and so much more
So many food trucks. Choices for everyone
Good variety of food and good quality. Be ready to be patient it's really crowded !
Fantastic vibe, tons of food truck options, live music and multiple vendors. This will be a must for Friday nights from now until September
Great place to grab an assortment of good food and sit on the pier watching the seabus go by
Great atmosphere and very scenic venue. Good variety of food trucks and music every week. The pier provides some of the best views in the city. Parking close by is limited and there can be significant lineups for the beer garden and popular food trucks. For the kids, they have face painting and the balloon guy but again, expect a 15-30min wait in the hot sun for each. I usually go down with the family and by the end of it I tally up all the time I spent in one line or another and it adds up to 75% of our time there. So ya, family friendly, but some patience is required, hence 4 stars. If i were just going down with friends to enjoy a sunny Friday evening I’d give this a 5 star venue.
Definitely a must-see/ to-do activity during the Summer. A quaint place with food trucks and interesting stalls. Try to look for free parking though. Had the KFC (Korean Fried Chicken) rice bowl- healthy and delicious with a slight spicy kick.
A fantastic summer Friday nights, place to be. Live bands, more amazing food trucks than not, and a very fun place to be. The only downside ? Too crowded . Too bad it is not held Friday and Saturday evenings. If you go and are disabled, arriving before 6pm or after 8:30pm should be less crowded. The beer garden can become quite busy when the bands begin to play. Still a great date night, family night, single night for grabbing a delicious bite and strolling onto the pier to people watch, sit on one of the many benches, watch a gorgeous sunset or admire the city skyline acroos the Burrard inlet, and maybe spot some seals playing, close by.
Awesome no silly vacation needed ❤
Good food, but expensive. Lines for everything. The music sometimes isn't good.
Always a great place to spend a friday evening! So much food here every week it would take the whole summer to try it all. Live music with a open tap, dance away! Alot of artisan vendors inside the building, if your looking for baked goods/spirits/jewelry or bath & body products and so much more. It's all here every friday during summer. Come hungry and willing to spend a bit as you will want more than you expect. P.s. I highly recommend Canuck Soap for an amazing bathing experience.
Always a fun night with live music and lots of artisans selling their wares. Then there is the problem of what to eat from the many food trucks!
Good place to hang out with family, drink and enjoy the live music
It is a great entertainment for the community, for the Friday nights. A lot of different things to do. A lot of different vendors, you have choice to variety of the foods. Very friendly crew, organized perfectly. Art gallery, very soon final building is completing, ice ring in the winter, summer time activity centre. Joey restaurant coming as well.
Fabulous vibe at the night market! There is always good live music and dancing! I am happy to report that there are some gluten free food trucks too :)
Free Live Music, Food Trucks, Beer Garden, Artisan Markets, Restaurants and The Pier with a BEAUTIFUL VIEW of the Vancouver skyline. FUN FUN FUN ????
It was very nice and interesting place to visit on Friday evening. Free parking structure another plus, lots of local vendors, food trucks with delicious food, from savory to sweet, life music, crafted beers. Amazing view of Downtown. Had a good time.
Excellent place to go on a Friday with the family. Amazing food trucks and even a beer garden for adults. Can't go wrong on a Friday night here. The love bands are the icing on the cake.
This arguably Metro Vancouver most scenic night market. There's a great variety of food trucks, organic produce, crafts, and merchandise. It opens at 5pm so be there early if you want to avoid the crowds and to get free local parking a few blocks away.
Fun atmosphere, family and dog friendly. The food trucks offer a wide variety of foods. Beer garden and live entertainment was alot of fun. Unique vendors and plenty of wine tasting! I will be back next year.
Awesome Food Trucks, music and shopping all in one beautiful location!
Great artisan market. In a whole other league compared to Richmond night market
Great variety of food. Some gluten free, vegan and healthy choices. Entertainment was good. Lots of places to sit. A wide variety of local artisan crafts. Lots of fun!
We like to come here as it's nice to walk around and see the various vendors. There are foods, breads, cheeses, beef-fed grass and a range of other vendors to try out. We also used to need some sugar, so I got a fresh batch of honey. Basically, it's a good market with plenty of shade when walking about. We're going to be back early!
Crowded seasonal market with an average collection of "craft" vendors and way-overpriced food trucks.
Very fun place to spend a Friday evening
But hard to find a seat in the beer garden and only a few choices of drinks but friendly staff and people in the area
Nice place for a walk or lunch stop and enjoy the sunshine or evening breeze
Taking the Seabus to visit the Shipyard Night Market was very fun. You have a different perspective on the city.
Lots to see and do. Great entertainment.
Lots of food trucks. Good entertainment. Small area so tends to get cramped.
Opening night May 11th. Opted for the falafel truck. Very nice. Sunny and warm and not too crowded according to relatives I was with.
So much to see! Lots to take in on night market day. Only down side was we ran out of time.
This was a fun and lively market. Although now terribly large, very diverse in vendors and food. I was super impressed with the live music and the fun atmosphere. We shopped, we ate, we danced and sang along to the music. And the sights of Vancouver's Skyline as the sun sets behind in the distance is amazing.
Thoroughly enjoyed the atmosphere. Will go back again with no hesitation.
Lively environment. Enjoy visiting it very often.
Excellent food truck and vendor selection. Awesome beer garden! This is where the community goes to gather on Friday nights. Always see friends and neighbours at the market.
Nice things to look at. Good for tourists.
Massive selection of local craftspeople. Tons of food trucks and live music!
A great Friday night out! Over 50 artisan vendors, a lot of handmade or original items, over 20 food trucks to choose from, great & free live bands, licensed outside bar area and lots to see and do. Mehndi & More Body Art do great henna and airbrush tattoos!
Great locally made goods and delicious food trucks.
Good selection, no entry free, amazing views
So much fun....music, food trucks, vendors. Go early to beat the crowds!
Amazing market, very crowded so be prepared for a line for any good truck. Make sure to try out the lemonade stand.
Excellent local art and music. experience a fun friendly entertainment with your friends and family.
Outdoor market every Friday nights during the summer with live band, food trucks, local beer and wine. Shopping is the best lots of arts and crafts...
Great local market with food trucks. Great job waste/recycling policy. Friendly and fun, dogs welcome and a "beer garden" right next to the stage with local beers. ???? Well done Jorth Vancouver.
Free to get in. Good food trucks and live music. Was able to find free street parking nearby. Nice night view of Vancouver downtown.
fantastic local attraction live music, beer garden, food trucks (almost all of them), amazing view, local craft market. You can't find a better local place to spend your Friday evening and have fun with your family. 5 min walk to Lonsdale Quay sea bus station
Best place to spend your Friday afternoon!
Do much fun, good food bc and music
Great place to spend a Friday evening. Lots of vendors, live entertainment, and food trucks. Unbeatable view of the Vancouver skyline. Free admission. Free street parking within walking distance, or meter parking. Easily accessible by public transit using the wonderful and scenic Seabus ride from Vancouver. #LetsGuide
Absolutely delightful and and such a feast to your eyes and senses. I must admit did buy a lot of things that I will truly enjoy.
Its a wonderful place to bring family and friend's. A nice g-rated experience
Nice, open, shady spaced where public drinking is allowed. Nice surrounding of shops and restaurants.
Awesome vibe, cool vendors, and tons of food trucks.
Great experience, excellent management, foods are awsome , lovely team are working together to make everywhere clean.
Amazing views of the city from North Vancouver. Plenty of food trucks and restaurants, dog friendly areas and a lovely pier. This place is a great weekend getaway!
Very nice atmosphere when there's live music and food trucks
Amazing fun! Great weather, great food, fantastic band..."the Millennials"...so much fun...so energetic! Absolute blast. Lots of good unique crafts, comfortable surroundings, just an easy night out...for all ages. Love the Spring/Summer on the North Shore.
A great public market held every Friday evening from late spring to early fall. Arts and Crafts, Food trucks, Open air pub, and live music. Can not go wrong making this your Friday night date spot. Amazing views of the sunset on Vancouver's skyline top it off. A must not miss.
Always a good time on Friday nights. I highly recommend making your way down to check it out. Lots of awesome food trucks, bands, and beer garden.
Wayyyyy more fun than the German Christmas market, though not as unique.... Can actually get Christmas shopping done here without giving up my arm
Wonderful music, great food trucks and ooh, the sunsets are magical!
Amazing scenery and fun food selections! Had an extremely good night.
Great selection of food and live music!
Must visit one time every summer. Great food options from trucks, live music and an awesome view of downtown from across the water.
It has continued to grow, lots of trucks, lots of activity. It's crowded though, finding somewhere to sit and eat is getting hard.
Wonderful place to visit with dozens of different food sellers of every kind and craft stalls. Lots of people gathering to try new and varied things to eat. Not a hint of trouble. Live music and a drinking area. Right next to the seabus terminal with super views of Vancouver over the inlet.
Plenty of vendors selling clothing, crafts, and jewelry. Food trucks and a beer garden with live music, plus stellar views across the inlet of downtown Vancouver. Easy to get there via seabus, or if you're driving you can usually find parking a few blocks north.
Excellent place for a Friday evenings, food trucks and live music.
Great summer evening outdoors event with live music, food trucks and artisanal wares.
We always have fun here. Come between 5-6pm to avoid the long lines at the food trucks. Lots of interesting products at the market, live band/beer tent area makes for a fun night out in North Van. Great spot for tourists!
Always a great time wandering the market listening to music and exploring the many food trucks
One of our favourite Friday night fun times! Love the snow cones - always take home a boat load of "Frostbites" cordial made with cane sugar. Can get busy, bands hit and miss, but still LOVE the vibe and something cool happening in NV.
Really packed but great food and cool shops to look at! There's even live music and entertainment
Great times at The Shipyards. Music nights are extra special.
Nice atmosphere but hell is it busy. If you plan on bringing a car make sure you have somewhere to park because we got there after it got into the swing and drove around the parkade for 30min looking for a space.
Large selection of foods but very crowded
Wonderful place to see Vancouver
Really fun way to start your Friday evening! Just a ton going on and right next to the Lonsdale Quay seabus port. There’s some great live music, all the food trucks you could want, shopping, salsa dancing, street performers, a nice pier to watch the sunset.
Lots of food and goods vendors with live music however overcrowded.
I always look forward to coming here! Love the variety of food trucks and vendors in the artisan market! I would echo what others say about parking though, especially given recent construction in the area.
We love the Shipyards Night Market. It gets better and better every year. The food is amazing. It's a wonderful atmosphere of music and so many nice people. The select and quality of vendors is outstanding. It's a great place to get unique gifts, from specialty wines to art, jewelry, clothing, and more.
Great night market for a dinner out in nice weather. Though the selection of food trucks can be a little bit and miss some nights.
Many food trucks, cheap beer and free music
Love the experience the diverse food options live music or DJ play options for kids and a billion food options
Now we have a icerink and some restaurants and performing arts. So much better
over-priced food trucks, overcrowded small area, $beer garden squeezed into same area. Nice sunset on pier though...even though very industrial area ????
Live music, great food trucks, and views of the skyline. Perfect. Oh ya, there's a market too.
Awesome live music and an average amount of options for food.
If you wanna go to a night market I'd suggest making the trip to the Richmond night market
Wow what a scene! A little to busy for me but this place is alive! And with the music from the live bands and spectacular Vancouver city views it makes it a great vibe. Check it out !
So much fun, cute stands, cool vibe, live music and lots of food trucks
Lots of yummy food trucks and interesting vendors, but the space is too small for the amount of people
It's very busy, but definitely worth it! Lots of great food trucks, good vendors, a beer garden, and a beautiful view of the city across the water.
Fun maker to go to. Lots of variety from food trucks. Better for food than buying things...but love that it's right on the water and lots of love music
Really enjoyed going to Shipyards Night Market. The whole ambiance of the place was so up beat and happy. Everyone was having a great time. The live music was bumping. 10/10 want to come back again.
We brought the kids and it fantastic, family oriented and lots of food trucks, such a friendly vibe great for everyone.
So much fun on a Friday evening! Great vendors, food, beer gardens and live music and dancing....Great for the whole family!
Beautiful place for an evening with dance, music and food trucks
You will have fun if you go without expectations. Nice food trucks and decentnfood even though little expensive.
An amazing experience, makes for great Friday evening summer fun with live music and a beer garden
Awesome place to spend your evenings.
This event runs every Friday night through the summer and is an absolute delight. The line up of food trucks there ensures a choice of tasty meal (or meals!) is possible for everyone. Grab your food and walk out on the pier and eat watching the sun set over Vancouver. Stunning. Wander the artisan booths and buy something locally made. Settle down and watch or dance to the live music, adults in the beer garden when a wide selection of beer and other beverages are available, or in the wide plaza around the stage. End with an ice cream. This place has everything you need for a lovely night.
Friday night is Food Truck night. Music and lively atmosphere. A lot of food trucks for the choosing.
Tons of options for food trucks, lots of locally made goods. Many soap stands.
If you would like to spend your friday having one of the greatest views of Downtown Vancouver, having some food truck choices and listen to some music, this might be a great choice.
Busy and friendly atmosphere. A Loy of selection in food truck options. Particularly enjoyed the 'Agua Frescas' drink stand. Great place to just stroll around and enjoy the ambience and views.
Plenty of food truck, live band, great for Friday night out
Fun family friendly local event with spectacular views across the water of downtown Vancouver. There was a wide variety of foods available for purchase with reasonable wait times. There are some folksy brick a brack for sale as well. Love music is next to the beer gardens but there is good access to the front of the stage for family friendly dancing.
Best place to try out local food trucks without a fee. Just be ready for the overwhelming crowds! It's a small area with a ton of people
Entertaining and I loved the food trucks
Pros: It's great when Kickass rice is around! Nice community, I love all the dancing going on. Cons: Can get really crowded at times. Parking is tough so better take public transportation or be prepared to walk. Bottom Line: Nice place for a nice summer evening with friends and family. Kickass Rice's food truck is usually at the end of the food trucks. They are awesome!
Great energy and great food truck options.
Great place to visit, once or twice. After that it's just the same old stuff. Gets mad busy, and the band can turn it up a bit too loud for a nice conversation with your friends, but all told, it's a cool place to check out.
They have live music, fantastic selection of food and drinks from all the food trucks and market stalls. Great atmosphere and place to spend a Friday evening. Crowded but not jam packed which was nice.
I love the live music and the food options, though the food is a bit expensive. However, I won't say no to eating with such a breath-taking view!
Loved the food! Great place to get all sorts of hand made goodies and creations
My girls love selling their lip balms and metal straws here or just going to dance and listen to great music.
Took my parents. they loved it. Very family friendly. good food truck selection
Excellent food. Compared to the Richmond Night Market it doesnt have as many options, but still a large variety! Portions are big. We went with the fish & chips, and the mac n cheese for the kids. Both were good. The cannoli was OK, but we really enjoyed our time there! Would definitely come back a few times this summer.
Great vibe, venders, and beer. Yes, beer and food at night market!
Lots 2 c, beautiful scenery, many vendors & fun times shared with good friends!
Live music great food and drinks
Such a great event to go to during the summer, and it's lively every Friday! Great local vendors for shopping, beer garden and so many food trucks to choose from.
Great first impression. Loved all the food trucks!
I recommend everyone to go and see for yourself; I personally love my experience with all that the market has to offer.
Tons of people and long line up for food. Not easy to find parking on the day I visit. Good to know a night market here but I rather like to go Richmond night market. LOL
Friday night is food truck night. Get ready for a lot of choice for dinner
Lots of food choices and lots of entertainment going on.
Great nightmarket, best thing about it is the and the awesome selection of food! Views are pretty spectacular, live music until late. Perfect spot to go with the family but it is quite packed. Great selection of pubs near by if you get tired and want to sit down.
Nice evening, with several gluten free options.
Absolutely amazing! Vegan paradise, life music and a really sweet view on the north shore. Also for non-vegans a good njghtmarket, but it's good to see that almost all foodtrucks have vegan options or are completely plant-based. Fresh kombucha, live music, baked goods and so much more!
Lots of fun and good music.
Lots of fun. Wish the food trucks could be all plugged in instead of running their generators.
An outdoor plaza, usually used for fairs and very small concerts. The actual night market only starts at about 7pm and goes to about 11pm. Just walk in from the Quay or the street (no entry fee). For the night market: 30-40 vendors, mostly food, some trinkets. One large closed seating/standing area under the crane for the beer garden. maybe 3-5 different beers, wines, and ciders (beer on tap or canned) for $5.00 each. Cash and Credit are accepted in the beer garden (but in different line ups, so make sure you are in the right one). Ok for small kids, usually one face painter and maybe one balloon artist near the stage. THERE IS ONLY ONE WASHROOM THAT I CAN FIND. Located in the street east of the stage, it's a trailer pulled up on the east side, closer to the hotel than the water.
Friday night market in the summer is fun. Live music, food trucks and a beer garden.
Good variety of food trucks. The beer garden needs more seating areas though.
Great food. Fun atmosphere. Everyone is welcome. Live band. Beer gardens What not to like.
Love every Friday night in North Van in the summer. Great food trucks and very family friendly!
Too many food trucks to remember, which is a good thing. Live music, beer garden, lots of local crafts and samples including local distilleries and cidery.
Lots to see and eat here! Best corn and Persian wrap we've ever had. During the summer they open the splash pad so the kids can play and cool off. We also saw a street performer and open salsa dancing. 5/5 would recommend!
Lots of food trucks. My favorite hot dog stand O'Canadawg was here too. My kids love it. There is live music as well and it's all free. Vendors selling stuff too so lots things to do.
This market is fine if what you are looking for is a place to visit food trucks. There is a decent selection of those but very little else. I had anticipated buying fresh produce but only saw one vegetable stand.
Great atmosphere No admission fee Food hit or miss
Enjoyed the shipyard night market. Live music, great food and their nice little local craft market
It's alright. Food takes awhile and I saw rats running around
Please do something about the smokers...lonsdale quay and shipyards will not do anything...drives me crazy
Nothing special. Good views by the water. Limited vendors. Good line of food vendors. Live music. Family friendly.
Great combination of food trucks, live music, a beer garden and usually a craft fair in the pipe shop building right beside it.
Awesome to see live music! Great to see Gonch Messiah. Great funk band.
Tons of food trucks, a beer garden, live entertainment and plenty of unique artisan tables to explore... Right on the waterfront with a breathtaking view of downtown Vancouver. One of the best ways to spend a Friday evening on the North Shore.
Great atmosphere, food, views, and parking
The night market is by far the best one I've been to in years. A lot of live band, mix variety of clothing stands and local artist works on display. Definitely going again next year
Fun place for the entire family but it gets too crowded and the food trucks can be expensive. Good to go once in awhile for the outdoor live band.
I love this night market! You have the best food trucks in the city, stunning views of downtown right by the water, live music, a beer garden and a venue to support local artists/vendors. It's smaller in size than the one in Richmond so it can feel crowded at times but it's a great area to walk around. Definitely a fun way to spend a sunny Friday afternoon!
Great atmosphere and the food trucks food, Delicious. So many to choose a good meal. Enjoy
Great music, food, scenery. Very little seating however. The beer garden has tables but few chairs ????people wandering around with food looking sadly for a place to sit, then finding nothing, they leave.
Enjoyed this market, a few food trucks that offered good food and the entertainment.
Wonderful lost of taste food and crafts
Many (if not mostly) local handmade products. Can get really busy. There's live bands that play too. Free parking can be really hard to find and you may need to park further away for it if you don't go there early
Love coming here with my husband on Fridays. The food trucks are sooo good.
Way to much fkng ppl there at the same place waiting for food. Seriously Anoying ambiance.
There are a lot of different things sell in each stalls. Very crowded!
Always a blast to walk around and enjoy some neat food. Great view of downtown Vancouver. Washroom facilities but not a lot of parking. Easy seabus ride over though.
Free event with food trucks, live music and a beer garden with $5.25 Nudes. Got an awesome necklace from Bits and Keys. Had a great time
Great experience - the music, booths, ambiance, vibe, food trucks. A must visit!
Great views . Super food places
This venue is seasonal. It's a great place for an evening bite to eat in the summer, lots of great Vancouver food trucks there as well as shopping options, a beer garden and live music too.
It is all about the experience......and great weather helps!!! The food trucks are not always the same. A few different ones each week and that is a good idea. I wish the music could go on longer.
Tons of food truck choices. Will need to visit them more to try them all.
Very cool market, loved the art gallery/white building nearby as well!
Absolutely love coming here on Fridays during the summer. Huge selection of food trucks to choose from. They don't seem to change much from year to year but that's ok since the main food trucks in the lower mainland always appear here too. Unfortunately because of the condos going up nearby the amount of space for the vendors has shrunk, but you can still definitely eat to your hearts content. Can't do much better than eating on a bench along the long pier looking out towards downtown Vancouver on a Friday afternoon/evening. The beer garden area gets a bit loud and rowdy but thankfully it's nicely contained. The live music can get to be too much as well.
What a place to grab a bite to eat on a Friday night. Check out the local producers inside!
There was great food trucks and vendors. My favorite food truck was missing. Great live music to listen to. Go early, it gets crowded.
There is great live music, and a wide variety of craft and food vendors. Add to that the great view of Vancouver across the Inlet - its just a fab place to spend a Friday evening!
Lots of food trucks. I wish they had a more artisans.
Not bad, I'd say it's 75% food 25% other. You can walk around slowly for about 1h (including stop to get food)
Great food options, decently priced, spectacular views, large crowds, fairly simple to find parking.
Amazing night market with free entry (no admission fee like other Night Markets in Vancouver). Good variety of food trucks and lots of different vendors selling an assortment of stuff from balsamic vinegar to handmade toys. Also has great views of the city.
Really loved this experience! The food was amazing and well worth the short line up. It was a perfect mix of everything to suit all different walks of life. Music, food, drinks, crafts and trinkets.
It's ok if you like crowds, and there is something for everyone there.
Not much too see. Food wasn't great. The only nice food was the tacofino stand but it had a crazy line-up
A fair number of food trucks (maybe 25-30), most items cost between $4-$12. Live music, sales and craft stalls, and a drinking area cordoned off. It's by the water, so the atmosphere is quite nice.
Great atmosphere for a day/night out
Good memories for my dad. Who used to work there
Very crowded and long lines at alot of the food trucks. Still a great time tho. Live music in such a great venue is always a win. The licensed bar area has a great view of the stage and does have some seating if you can get it.
Nice view and good food but nothing special food
It was fun to walk there at Friday, only was kinda overcrowded but live music and nice food with view - good expirience
Fun! Not so fun for dogs with short legs tho ????
Great night out in a beautiful city. Amazing amount of food trucks. Live music and great local artists.
Not really a night market, but a food festival with 25-30 "booths" and live music, right on the water, just east of the Seabus terminal. Not as many ethnic food choices as the Richmond night market and more vegan and gluten free offerings. Also, much smaller than the Richmond version. Definitely worth a visit, especially if you have a day pass on Translink, since the Seabus ride over and back is "free."
Really loved this experience and live music, foods.
great place to attend with family. Kept going all summer long as my toddler had a blast everytime. Mlreovee with the new expansion the market us not longer overly crowded
The location gets quite windy and you'll have the sun in your eyes for most of the evening. The wood-fire pizza place is great, though.
Great location, food, crafts and live bands! Park at the ICBC lot adjacent to the Quay. We love bringing our dog for a walk around the venue, go early or after 8pm to beat the crowds! The views are amazing ????
Had a blast tasting the best and most varied flavor sensations! This event is not to be missed for any Foodie or adventurous soul! Double thumbs up!
Fantastic market. Lots of sampling to be done too!
Vendors were great, lots of artisanal goods, and nice to walk around. Lots of food trucks too. It had live music and offered alcohol in a closed area. It was fairly crowded but still enjoyable.
Awesome Event!!.. Food, Beer, and Live Music!! May to Sept, Friday 5-10pm ????????
Always a great time, for a summer Friday night.
Lovely place to come check out. There's not really a better view of downtown Vancouver than here. A nice trendy place that you should bring visitors to for sure
Lots of food trucks, kind of crammed, needs more vendors
I enjoyed the atmosphere. Most of foods are pretty good. Specially the 'fish and chips' is fabulous.
Nice, but definitely a night market for rich people! NOT a Richmond style night market where with $10 you can completely buy a new wardrobe and eat for 1 week
Some interesting food and craft beer and a handful of small scale craft works and home goods. Nothing wrong with what is there but a little lacklustre but what can you expect since it runs every Friday in the summer. At least there is a nice view.
Oh my God. I passed from this place every day and I just longed to see what the view is....and I visited it today.......today was a rainy day and the view was just awesome and beautiful........I would take my friends there next time
So much to enjoy - food, music and ambiance.
Great selection of food trucks and local vendors, great date night lots of fun
Fun place for events, beautiful views!
Love the market there and the view.
Good selection of food trucks and Knick knacks
Great place for date night. Lots of food trucks. There's also live music for families with children.
Quiet and scenic
So much fun, lots of food and the location is very accessible via sea bus. Don't take your car, leave it at home
