Local atmosphere in Niagara Falls, Ontario, which most tourists to the falls don't even know exists. "Taps" brews several different beers right on the premises, and have excellent pub food to go along with them. They also have live music bands. Very enjoyable experience!

When people ask me what I'm most looking forward to doing post-COVID, my standard answer is to say, "Sitting on the patio at Taps, listening to live music and enjoying a pint of beer!". Love the vibe here. The owners are super supportive of local artists and musicians. Also one of the only bars that has a great vegan-friendly menu! Well worth checking out!

Unbelievably good service today at Taps, I wish I could give more than 5 stars. Being from out of town we just wanted to go somewhere with live music and we got so much more. The nachos and fries we ordered were so fresh and delicious, the beer was outstanding too. Shout out to Meghan for the amazing service... Made our day and honestly made our whole trip to Niagara such a memorable experience! ????

I had one of the best chicken fingers I’ve ever had here. They were juicy, crunchy and full of flavor. (Reminded me of the Chickery but so much more satisfying). The venue at times gets better with folks that come there from wine tours etc. Service was good. chicken fingers were great (that’s all I can vouch to), and i bought some Growlers to take home :) I was a happy camper ????????????????????

Go here! Forget the breweries in town, this place is the best. We had such a nice time. The staff were really friendly. The food was fresh and home cooked and best of all was the beer. Sweater weather ❤️❤️ And the special pumpkin one for Halloween. We ended up taking part in the music quiz. It was really fun and inclusive. When deliveries outside ON recommence we will place an order. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.

Hubby and I went in for a date night drink and a bite to eat. Our service was amazing, and the Vegan options were so so good. Very rare to find so many options. Heard more night be in the works! We will definitely be back! Thanks to Megan for the great service, made our night out even better!

Searching for a lunch spot that wasn’t super touristy, stumbled upon a local craft brewery and were delighted!! The place has free parking which is unheard of in Niagara and the food was really good for the price! Definitely a local haunt which was great and exactly what we wanted! Service was friendly and quick considering it was quite busy for a Monday and she was the only server! The beer was great and really good pricing - $6/pint, $4/half pint, $16/pitcher! Lots of vegan options and most menu items seem to be made in house not frozen! Would definitely go here again especially to get away from the hub of generic overpriced restaurants!

A very unique dining and Craft beer experience in old Town Niagara Falls area on Queen Street. My taste tester loved the dark brews Bieng created on site. Lots of room and good parking. Loved it was built in a old garage has a very industrial feel but cozy. The food was good and very reasonable prices. The staff was friendly and the owner was fantastic to give us a tour and show how they brew . Live bands and other events make this a great asset to the area and the place to visit while in Niagara Falls.

This was our favourite meal in Niagara over our weekend visit! Firstly, our waiter Michael was fabulous! He made the whole night special. He was very accommodating when we didn't have a reservation, and after a 20min wait at the bar he found us a table. His service was exceptional. The beer and wine was great. The food absolutely delicious. There was live music playing which was fun. Overall a really fun night. This place is definitely worth visiting! Worth every bit of 5 stars!

I had a great experience at Taps! Nothing over the top but nothing short of a good time. The food was great; especially being vegan. They have plenty of options for vegans. More than most restaurants in the area. I tried almost all of them and would go back again. Also, customer service was nice. Staff were polite, respectful and genuine.

Best poutine!!! My favorite is the veggie curry with pulled pork on top! Red cream ale is AMAZING, can't get that anywhere else do take home a growler!!

Great staff, super friendly and helpful. Great space, very open with the lots of seating. Good pub style food. The jalapeño and mushroom burger was delicious. The craft beer was very tasty as well. Prices were very reasonable, especially consider 1km down the road you pay through your nose for nothing that even comes close to quantity and quality. Went on Tuesday night which was open mic night. It was awesome. Great performers great music.

After a game of shinny at the Gale Centre, a group went to Taps Brewhouse (won't say how many, but all were double vaxxed). The wait staff were excellent and so was the food. Highly recommend this place!!

We came here just to sit on the patio and have a drink. The service was fast and friendly. The Martinis were strong which I like since 1/2 the drinks we found elsewhere in Canada seemed weak. My husband loved the beer. The bacon pork poutine was delicious.

Holy crap this place is awesome! Food and beer were both very tasty and reasonably priced. We are from out of town so wasn't sure what to expect but I'm jealous that I don't have a place like this where I live. Venue a Huge supporter of music and some great live bands. Saw Jesse Roper from the band The Roper Show perform live for the first time and was blown away. This guy kept the audience rocking the whole night.

Well it's the first day of reopening of patios in Ontario. June 11, 2021. And must admit I was looking forward to it for a long, long time. Weren't we all? I went to several patios and saw good and mostly poor adherence to the rules. I have to tell you of all the places I went to, uptown and downtown Niagara Falls, Taps was doing the best job of keeping everyone safe and covid free. Shouldn't the serving staff at other places at least be wearing a mask still?

Very friendly service from when we walked in. They were accommodating, quick and the environment of the restaurant is very inviting. Many many vegan options and their vegan mozzarella sticks are to die for. They use a UK based cheese company called “Sheese” and it is the best vegan cheese ever. Definitely a go to in Niagara.

Taps is amazing. Vegan options are top of the line. Best in the city by far for sure. Not only the food. The music is always entertaining! And the server Kyle! Wow! He was exceptional when it comes to serving he has it down pat. He recommended karaoke on Monday night which sounds amazing. We will definitely be coming back!

Every time I visited Niagara Falls I went to the Taps for dinner and beer. I always enjoyed their beer and also their pulled pork poutine. After covid for the first time we went there last night. Beer was amazing, but the poutine was just some cold fries some cubes of hard cheese and cold pulled pork on top. Also we ordered only one poutine and they brought us two and charged us for two. At the end when I told the waitress the whole story she was nice enough to not to charge us for one beer. I hope they get better as they get busier but I'm not sure if my gf will let us to go back there again.

Very good food, I was visiting and it did not disappoint. It had wonderful nachos and Cesar salad. Staff were fantastic and friendly, I have no clue who people refer to about mean staff. There is lots of beer options though I would not know how they taste. It lacks in deserts but honestly after how big their portions are you really don't need them. 5/5 would come again.

We have been in Niagara Falls, Canada for 3 days now, and we have had over priced food that was not worth buying or eating! We decided to leave the falls area to find decent food for a decent price. Taps is by far, the best food we have had, since being here! The restaurant itself was open, quiet and somewhat dark. We went to dinner around 6. We had the nachos for an appetizer. They were great. I had the chicken fingers dinner. The chicken fingers were huge! My husband and son ordered the cheese pizza, and my daughter got the chicken stir fry. We ordered 3 sodas and 1 Martini. Everyone loved the food. We shared our plates. There was barely any left overs. Lol. Our bill was about $80 My only complaint is that the chicken and fries, were a bit over fried.

Ate here by recommendation and it did not disappoint. They make their own burger patties in house. We each had the Swiss Mushroom Melt burger with fries and onion rings. All delish! Service was quick, friendly staff and ample seating. I’d go back!

Service was quick and super friendly and the food was great. This place has lots of vegetarian and vegan options, including pizza (yes, vegan!), burgers, and poutine. You really can't go wrong ordering either, it's all delicious. The in house beers are excellent too! Also had a really cozy atmosphere inside with live music and great outdoor seating for both large and small groups. My only regret is not living close enough to visit often!

I can't say enough good things about this place. All around really amazing experience. From their diligent cleaning protocols which is always appreciated these days, to their delicious and reasonably priced beer (even got a growler to go), to their incredible vegan food options (helllloo poutine, yummy!!), and of course friendly service. Can't wait to come back!

I felt like I was back in Europe again; I tried the"Art attack," brewed right there. It could compete with anny German, or British, or other European brew. And, a bonus... Great experience. It was so busy at the falls and wedwe end up getting to do what we wanted but went here for our late afternoon and it was great! Everyone, including our server was super friendly and patient. Great music if you're a millenial...brings you down to memory lane haha. Great patio, tons of sunlight or shade, whatever you prefer. And the food was awesome. Overall great experience and spent majority of our day here since our plans fell through. Can't get an experience like this in Toronto! Well done!

Yo this place is amazing. The beer selection is amazing, and they have ciders on tap. The food is the highlight, if you haven't tried a veggie curry poutine you must! And the best server Levi is always smiles, even if he isn't running his amazing comedy show.

This place definitely has potential and it could be that we just had a different cook, however I did not find that all of the positive reviews lived up to the hype of this place. My friend and I ordered wings, pickle spears, a sandwich, and the large nachos. The wings were incredibly small, the sauce was good. The pickle spears were undercooked (batter was doughy in the middle), and the cheese on the nachos was not melted at all in the middle. The atmosphere is nice with the live music, and I like their patio, but the food overall was subpar. If the chef tried a little harder and the line staff were supervised properly, I really think the food would be much better. I do not think we will be back.

Levi was an excellent server, with great menu knowlendge and reccomendations. Multiple Vegan options, I had the Vegan Buffalo Chicken Wrap, it was great, and absolutely loved the fries, and the vegan dip was awesome. GF had the club poutine and loved it as well. Very reasonabily priced beer flight, and took some cans home which were great too!

Awesome place to try some craft beer away from the busyness of Clifton hill. Cute place with beautiful patio. We sat indoors, the lighting was extremely dim which I didn't mind but my mother had issues reading the menu because of the lighting. Beer was super reasonably priced and they had a good selection of their own craft beers, definitely recommend trying the Sweater Weather brew!! Only reason I can't give 5 stars is the food was pretty 'meh', good to pair with a beer but probably wouldn't go out of my way to just eat here.

Came across this restaurant unexpectedly. It’s in a nice location just outside the usual Niagara Falls tourist area but well worth a visit. Great food, and beer brewed on site. Sizeable patio. Friendly staff - special shout out to our waiter, Gregory. We’ll return for sure. Highly recommend.

This place is wonderful! Came here with my boyfriend a few days ago and it was such a pleasant experience. Service was extremely friendly, fast and generally such a positive experience. They are attentive and truly do everything they can to make sure you are enjoying yourself. They had really good beers on tap (try their flight deck) and food was out of this world. Their chicken tenders were enormous, delicious and just so satisfying. Also got their nachos. Really big portions and really good prices. Food all came out in less than a few minutes. Was so impressed with the quality of food as well as how fast the service was. Prices were also impressive. Its definitely not easy finding a place that will serve you good food at a good price. What more can you ask for? A true hidden gem :)

I called in on very short notice, that I needed a reservation for 20 people for a Friday afternoon luncheon. Came through with flying colors. Service, Beverage selection, food, and patio atmosphere, all 5 stars. Very reasonably priced as well. Thank you to our servers who did a fantastic job!
