Best Dj ever! We used Spirit of Sound for our September wedding, and Anthony was our dj. He was the absolute best, and had no difficulty or trouble working with an outdoor tented wedding. He was polite, professional, a lot of fun, and got the people moving :)

Vinny was an absolute pleasure to work with. He was very throughout with breaking things down for my husband, wedding planners and myself and very detailed. What was disappointing for us was that on our wedding night, pictures ended sooner than anticipated due to weather and our DJ went MIA for about a half hour. Now granted, we had sent him our intinerary that stated he had about an hour after the ceremony through cocktail hour before the reception began, but what was frustrating to find out was that he left the property all together. Also in our itinerary we wanted “country love songs” played throughout dinner while guests ate and he played jazz music instead. The most disappointing part of the night was that our first dance song was not even the original version. It was totally different and not even the right artist. We also were informed he would be very interactive and thought that fell short to say the least. Over all our experience was ok. The best thing he did do was play our top 10 must plays, and the confetti part of our first dance. Given the money we paid we are less than satisfied.

This is an absolutely amazing DJ company. We used them on our wedding day and we are very pleased with the entire process from start to finish. From day one, before we decided which DJ company to use, Spirit of Sound immediately made us feel at ease and explained everything important to us over the phone. We are impressed and pleased with this company's professionalism and level of organization. We were in good hands for our big day! Spirit of Sound also sat down with us and helped us plan the flow of the reception, including the speeches and the dances. They were accommodating and flexible to our needs and they had great suggestions that made our night go as smoothly as possible! The night of our wedding, our DJ was fun and entertaining - and the music choices had people on the dance floor all night! We highly recommend this company for your event or wedding.

We had Luka Miller for our wedding this past Friday and he was amazing! He did his best to play all of the requests while also managing to play top 100, Polish & Ukranian, and Italian music throughout the night. Right from when the dancefloor opened, the floor was full and he kept the party going until 1AM! I highly reccomend using him as your DJ :)

DJd a recent event I attended. DJ was late. Couldn't hear him through the ceremony. Song selection was lame (bordering on atrocious). Plenty of people wanting to dance but the music played really put a damper on the mood.

I only give 4 starts because of the owner Vinnie, the DJ however deserved about 3.5 stars. Vinnie is a pleasure to deal with, he knows his business well (as well as the many others he is involved in). He is a super smart guy and spends a lot of time and effort to train his DJs. What we disliked about our DJ is that he didn’t play any of the music we have indicated that we enjoy, such as county, rock and Latin music, predominantly he played contemporary pop music which young kids enjoy but we wanted to cater to all of the crowd and not just the young kids. We do have to appload the DJ for the efforts to keep organized as we had to deal with baby issues and other things which pushed all speeches out of schedule, he was understanding and tried to accommodate as much as possible. He did, however, lack personality and wasn’t engaging enough for the crowd. Also, not successful in getting crowds attention for our cake cutting as nobody even realized that it happened until later. Considering that we paid more than what it would have cost us with other DJ companies, we expected more...

Had them as our dj for our wedding of 37 people in Fall 2015. We gave our top 10 request list and not one song was played off our list. We are both in our late 30s and enjoy a mix of old country, classic rock, pop, 80s, etc. I wanted to appeal to the entire group with our music selection. Not only did they not have our list with them, they played mostly recent pop songs that appealed to only the kids attending. The DJ that was scheduled to our wedding in the smaller room at the venue, ended up switching with another dj of the same company that was working the bigger wedding in the ballroom. We weren't impressed at all.

We recently had Spirit of Sound for our wedding in September. Our DJ was amazing. He not only played a mix of everything but he felt out the crowd and was able to continue playing great music that helped keep the party going. I made a few changes on the spot due to some unforeseen circumstances and he went with the changes with smooth transitions. I would recommend Spirit of Sound for any event!

This review is very late (sorry Vinny!!!). My wife and I had chosen Spirit of Sound for our wedding reception largely due to the strong reputation that the business holds within the Niagara community. Moreover, I have attended a number of events over the years that had retained the services of Spirit of Sound. What I came to realize over that time was that their staff have always delivered a top quality performance. Given my heritage, there was some interest in seeing if Vinny would be able to deliver some authentic European music. It was absolutely mind boggling to learn how extensive Vinny's music collection was! Spirit of Sound has truly established itself as a high caliber entertainment business, featuring outstanding services at a truly affordable price point. Thank you again Vinny!

Spirit of Sound was the company we used for or wedding recently. We could not have been happier with their service. Everything was bang on. Spencer, the DJ assigned to us was amazing. Super high energy and the crowd fed off that. The party was going all night long. I cannot say enough good things about this service, but I will say if you use these guys for your event you certainly won't be disappointed. Will definitely recommend to friends and family.

Jonathan did a great job as the DJ and MC at our wedding! I have been getting tons of compliments about how fun the night was and how great the music selection was. I asked for a 90s throwback and I got it! It was so fun and he really knew how to read the crowd. 10/10 would recommend!

From the moment I spoke to Vinny on the phone I knew the service to be provided was going to be amazing. We are from out of town so only met on one occasion two years before the wedding took place. Most communications were done through email which were replied to extremely fast. All lists needed were sent by email to keep paperwork organized. We were able to make the package work for our wedding and needs. The DJ was there and set up early. He was so personable and truly made it feel like he was part of our intimate reception. My father was sick the day of the wedding and we were able to give a head nod through our father daughter dance when we wanted to end the song early. Very professional service and I would highly recommend to others.
