First off we picked this place because a decent deal on Groupon that was good savings. And they didn't even blink an eye when we mentioned it. Not like some place. Food was reasonably priced and solid quality. The kind you expect from a place like this. In a good way. The waitress was great. There are not lot of eating tables as it is very much a bar as well. They also mentioned they do some line dancing some nights. Overall the food, price and waitress made it worthwhile. Was a bit nervous when we walked in but it was worth it. And glad we did it. Was nice to get a good deal in Niagara Falls and it was all a great experience.

So someone from "Big Texas" bar in Niagara Falls came to our door to promote their restaurant. "We got burgers, wings, fish & chips etc etc...... But you folks probably don't eat that kinda stuff." We are an Asian family.

The wait staff are great. Aside from that, don't order anything that isn't in a sealed bottle (they water down their liquor), the bartenders have no idea when to cut people off and they get way too drunk and obnoxious (they were drinking from sealed bottles) and the owner is a massive douche who screamed at anyone that went near the multitude of empty tables that had "Reserved" on them, even at 1am. Went to support a friend who was playing there that night, otherwise I would have avoided this place like the plague.

The nachos is absolutely horrible. Basically you get a dish of dry nacho chips. It was so bad that I didn't eat it. I decided to take the chips home so I can add toppings to it in an attempt to salvage the money I spent. DON'T DO IT!

Visited Big Texas during a Niagara bachelorette. They were nice and easy going about reserving a table for our big group. I rode the mechanical bull. Did okay. Danced to live music. Enjoyed shooters. Staff was friendly and the patrons were nice too. (It’s seedy af but that’s part of the charm.)

The best country bar in town. Live music great grub in the day. Pound back decently priced drinks by night. Ask for the man the myth the legend stanley steamer and he will have more stories then Dr Seuss and Walt Disney combined. Always treated like family here and you don't walk out frowning whenever you leave this place. You will be shuffling back happy after a night out here.

Did not like this experience at all. The only reason it gets one star is because the manager was nice and polite. The food was over cooked or oversauced. There was a congregation of bugs on the buns. The restaurant was nice cosmetically. The food in my opinion was disgusting. I would not recommend this restaurant to anyone.

Okay! I have never had such a positive experience for a girls night out. I planned my sisters bachelorette this past weekend and was in touch with Peter. Such amazing communication and customer service. They hooked us up with free cover and free bull riding which was amazing. The night of, the ice storm hit and it was TERRIBLE OUT. I texted Peter/ which ever manager was on the phone, to confirm the band (Darren Hancock) would still be on that night, and if he could provide us a number for cabs as there were only 4 ubers in the area and us Toronto girls did not have a number for reliable Niagara cabs. Not only did I receive a prompt response (confirming the band was on and a taxi number), we were also ensured we would not be waiting outside in the freezing rain. TRUTH. It was amazing. THE NIGHT. What a time!! Darren Hancock was amazing, the music in between was bumpin and the crowd was super fun. Not to mention the incredibly kind bar tending staff who probably weren't expecting the bar to be so busy the night of the storm but they handled it like pros. Thanks! The coat check staff and Donny at bull riding were also super nice as well! Seriously- all bars need to take a lesson from this crew. Thanks so much Big Texas we had SUCH a great night and my sister was SO SO happy!

Good live music when we visited Friday night. Place was quiet, but we didn’t stay past 9, so it may have picked up later. Looks like it would be a great rocking spot in non-COVID times. Limited menu, but given the pandemic, not surprising. Staff were friendly. Would go back again for the atmosphere and the Friday and Saturday live music sets.

I enjoyed my visit to Big Texas. The management and staff seem very nice and it's well run. I was lucky enough to experience the rear patio area which is nice. They have some popular country singers perform here. I would most definitely recommend a visit here.

The portions were big but the food was bad. The pouring was drenched in gravy like it was a soup which made the fries soggy before they hit the table. Not many choices on the menu and then they were out of some of them. I got the pulled pork and it was dry and had a funny taste. Only positive was the bartender/waitress that waited on us was extremely pleasant

Went there this week while on vacation. I initially liked this bar it seemed warm and cozy. Just my kind of Place to shoot the s%!+! Well the next the first Stanley cup gane was the next day. The band they had was absolutely phenomenal and brought the crowd into their music. The place was always packed with people. It seemed to be the only good place in town with live music and entertainment in the evening hours.

This is a bar that would like to be a restaurant too. We ordered drinks while we looked over the menu. waitress came by and we told her we weren't quite ready to order yet. Then about 10 minutes later we were ready and tried to get the waitress attention. Every time she looked our way we would wave and she would promptly look the other way. After another 20 minutes and we were also ready for another drunk the waitress came to our table and took the menus and walked away without saying a word. At that time we decided they didn't want or need our business. If you want to go to a place for an over priced beer and have no other choice then please feel free to check this place out but I would go elsewhere

Great entertainment, Neon Rain. I rate Rob Kirkham and his team 5 out of 5 stars. Wait staff courteous and attentive. I rate them 5 out of 5 stars. Dance floor excellent. I rate them 5 out of 5 stars. However, the fact that the powers that be at Big Texas allow customers to bring beverages onto the dance floor has unfortunately I forced me to rate my experience at 2 stars out of 5. I was there 3 hours and witnessed a few slips and messy sticky floors ( no attempt was made to clean them up) even the security staff barely missed having a bad fall. So dangerous. No regard for safety.

Terrible experience! We had a group of about 12 people show up around 7pm, with reservations. Nobody else was in the restaurant at all. We waited for over an hour and a half for nachos, which we decided to never get after waiting for so long. We paid for our drinks and cancelled our food order and left. Our friends that did actually get served the nachos said there was no cheese on the bottom layers. This place is definitely not a place to go to for food.

well the location is a bit out of the way , it was a couple minute walk from my hotel when I was staying downtown it was worth the walk. its not a huge bar in terms of size but has a nice casual somewhat intimate atmosphere . good crowd of younger and older country music fans and friendly staff . I had never been to it before but was better than I had expected , I'd go back if I was in the area .

The bar is great with awesome music and drink prices are very reasonable for Niagara. My rating would have been a 3 star as the women's washrooms were having some plumbing issues however Nick who I believe was a manager went above and beyond and made sure we were happy. Had the washrooms been working properly this would have been a 5 star. Overall great experience.

Service is awful. Food is very good and priced very fair. Don't be in a rush though as it may take 20 minutes or so to get your bill unless you walk to the bar to remind them.. Should be free after 10 minutes especially when there are about 6 customers.

I have been to Big Texas a number of times, and usually with no issues at all. it is a fun country atmosphere to have a couple drinks and dance as my girlfriends and i quite enjoy doing. However my most recent visit will be my last. GIRLS BEWARE: i was drugged. We had thought we were being careful when going outside for a few smokes by leaving our beers with the security guard at the entrance however obviously we were not careful enough. i dont remember leaving the bar or getting home and was sick for 2 days. 7 beers doesnt do that to me. someone slipped something in my drink while we were outside. please be careful if you choose to go here, we are lucky we made it home before the predator got to us. BE CAREFUL!!!!
