Two venues under one roof. To the side of the main entrance is a door to the upper lounge where Laff Lines comedy club lives. Great cabaret space. Decent size, could probably seat about 120-150. Main stage and house is smaller than traditional stages but great for intimate performances and really connecting with an audience. Great size stage for bands and smaller theatre companies. Plenty of paid street and parkade parking and lots of restaurants and pubs within walking distance.

Great comedy club in downtown New Westminster. Good place to start or end a night out. Comedians are usually on point, but everyone can have an off night. Only 4 stars not for anything in the club, but for the fact weekend crowds can be a bit unruly (read as loud obnoxious jerk faces that heckle nonsense) it definitely dampers the fun when it is constantly interrupted by Chad who can't hold his booze.

Just had our wedding there this past weekend. The experience from the beginning of the process has been fabulous. Jillian was our contact and was there for any questions we had and let us in to the venue anytime we needed to check on things. Berry who owns it is a friendly and fabulous gent. The venue was able to accommodate our whole day there and transitioned amazingly from ceremony, to dinner, to having a live band. You really can do it all at The Columbia. Can't say enough about how perfect our day was, and The Columbia was a main part of that.

The Columbia is an amazing venue in the heart of New Westminster. We love the Wednesday Night Jam hosted by Sean Garrett, Frank Baker & Friends. You will find a lot of exceptional talent gracing the stage every Wednesday night, including a set from up and coming original bands. It runs from 7PM until 11PM and has become one of the best Rock Jams around the lower mainland. We look forward to spending our Wednesday evenings there. Great music, great vibe, great atmosphere and great sound thanks to The Rockshop.

Fantastic venue. Best comedy club in Vancouver area upstairs. Great food selection. Servers are top notch and friendly. Been to a few shows downstairs in the main theatre and it is a very classy, special evening out.

This Venue is a great place to spend your Saturday night, customer service is great from the girl at the door to the guy that seat you. The show was awesome for what 20 dollars. The only thing I have to say it that they wont give you a glass of water even if your eating and having a bottle of wine which seems a bit over the top. I guess they have to may cheap people that drink water all night and have to make them pay for bottled water.

There was a good crowd and good music. The drink menu was varied and fairly priced, but they don't serve water, you have to buy a bottle. It seems irresponsible to sell hundreds of people 4-8 drinks then refuse to give out tap water. I saw several people drinking from the bathroom taps and filling their empty drink glasses in the bathroom, which isn't necessary at most other venues.

Came here for a staff party. Set up as a dinner theatre. Not really suitable for mingling. Food was less than average, they ran out of some items and slow to replenish. The comdey act was nothing to write home about. Actually one of our colleagues was a better comedian. Her interaction with the comedian on stage was priceless.
