The food was excellent. The servers were friendly. It took a long time to get our food. There were people who came after us got their meal. Seemed the waitress may have not put the order in. When we asked the food came within 10 minutes. They had band play at 9 pm. It was good music. We do recomand the restaurant for food and atmosphère.

Little spot, not many tables, slow service, limited menu. I liked the decor of the restaurant, very Canadian, clean spot but it is new. As for the menu, it has no healthy choices whatsoever, they deep fry everything. Honestly they would probably deep fry the lettuce if they could. It's just not for me, it was a one and done unfortunately.

Randomly stopped at this place while on the road doing projects in the area. Highly recommend this place for food and service! They are on top of covid protocols which is great in the current state of affairs. Food was presented well and tasted great. Danie was my server, amazing service, friendly, professional. This place is the place to go in neguac if your looking for a good coffee and pastries such as muffins and cookies. It's a hybrid coffee shop as tezza is there and the pub has really good food and just was just renovated, just be aware it can be expensive at tezza sandwich and salad average 13-15$

They need a sign that says 14+ outside, and I wouldn't recommend bringing your kids unless they are 14+. Other than that the stuff they give you to munch on before you get your main meal sucks, but that wait is well worth it. I got a steak sandwich and it was delicious!

Pub used to be a place where you could get wasted and gamble your money away. Music was loud and people were jolly. Nowadays it tries unsuccessfully to be both a party house and a quiet chill drinking area. Music and bands are being played way to loud to be having a conversation with anyone. But if loud music is what your looking for to have a good time and party, you'll be prompt to leave the establishment if any sign of excitement is shown. Its hard to recommend this place to anyone cause it just doesn't fit in any category quite well. Nevertheless, this place has potential for greatness and will still be serving customers on the daily. It's definitely a stop to try out at least once, or something you have to live with since its the only establishment legally serving alcohol in Neguac after 12am.

Pub / Bar atmosphere with both pub food and more family food offering. Prices are portions are good. Outdoor seating also available in the summer, weather dependent. If you are looking for a social outing or a nice lunch come have a visit. Bar sitting also available as well at Video Lottery Machine in the Restaurant.

They said the portion sizes were big and could be divided for family of 5.... Barely fed us and we paid $40+....food was delicious but would have been nice to see serving sizes!

Went for a drive on a beautiful fall day and stopped at Pub 981 for lunch. First impressions were really good. They followed the covid protocols and were very friendly. Nice atmosphere in dinning room. Service was very fast and friendly. However, things began to fall apart when drinks were delivered. My wife and I each had a draught beer, her cracked canoe was very flat and odd tasting. I asked to have a different one which they quickly complied. My wife had the clams and salad. They were just ok, and actually wet and not very well cooked, they were very pricy and nothing exceptional. I had the smoked meat sandwich. I have to be honest a say it was the worst i have ever had. The frozen Montreal smoked meat you get from Costco was hands down better. The portion of smoked meat was very small and had been fried???? (very odd). The bread was so greasy i could not eat it. We are not complainers so we paid and left (was not looking for a free meal, maybe we should have given them the chance to fix it). We have friends who have been there in the past and said it was good, however, we did not have the same experience. Very expensive lunch for a very dissatisfying meal.
