It's clear they're either low on money or not bothering to put money back into the place. The bowling alley is gross, but... still a bowling alley so it's fun. Has potential to be great, but isn't in it's current state.

EDIT: I've been informed that what I saw was actually its own specific sort of bowling. When I called the centre, I asked if they had "10 pin bowling" and was told "yes" so I felt pretty mislead, but fair enough I guess. Very small arcade and lazer tag, but most of all the bowling alley was a JOKE! Wow! Never in my life have I seen anything like it. The "pins" looked like beer cans taped together and didn't react like normal pins at all when hit, and the lanes don't clear fallen pins between balls - they just lie in a mess interfering with your next shot until the end of your turn when you MANUALLY press the "reset pins" button. Perhaps strangest of all - it was 10 pin, but the balls were little 5-pin balls. Most hilariously awful bowling experience of my life, 12/10 would never go back and 13/10 would actively dissuade people from going.

Caution -- warning -- If you buy the family package for 6 lazer tag games, and bowling, etc... You may have to "come back" to get your full value. I bought the family package. We bowled for 1 hour. Took the kids over to lazer tag. They sold the lazer tag out for 8 consecutive games to 1 party. That means, ... 1 hour and 20 minutes of waiting just to my value. Manager said no refund, come back another time. I caution you, before you purchase.. go make reservations with lazer tag/bowling/etc. We had a technical issue with our bowling lane, where we were continually waiting 20+ seconds for a bowling ball. All in all, not great value.

Facility is awesome but the birthday party planning group could use some work. They didn't pay enough attention to our party. When we discussed this with the manager I was told this was a known issue and yet no one kept an eye on our party planner. The room we were given was too small and the birthday cake was frozen so solid you could not cut it so they had to microwave it. This is after getting us the wrong cake. I would not plan another birthday party here.

An awesome place to bring your family! They have reasonably priced bowling, an epic jungle gym for the kiddos, laser runner, and a fitness centre for the grown-ups. The arcade is in total disrepair, however, and I recommend against wasting the time or money all together. There is no where else quite like Kingswood in the city. :)

Bowling review only -------------------------------- We bowl here probably 6 times a year or so, for the last couple years. Place has recently been upgraded. The bowling upgrades are very good! The digital displays and score marking is awesome. When my fiancee and I go bowling, we are able to do 3 rounds in one hour instead of 2 rounds, thanks to their new electronic system. Sometimes the waits to get in are long (especially Saturday nights), they seem to be understaffed at busy periods. A lot of the bowling balls are damaged and chipped, but if you're just playing for fun it won't matter. Canteen is also very good, and they have liquor on site.

Decent place to take the family to get out of the house. They don't have much in the way of toddler items, one small area that a wee one would get bored quick. My kids love the play structure and the arcade; however, most of the arcade games are old and malfunctioning. Bowling is expensive as is laser tag. See a lot of kids birthday parties taking place and company functions. That would be my only other concern that the times I have gone there there is a 50/50 shot that there is an event taking place that will use most of the bowling lanes limiting your ability to get a lane, call ahead if you can.

We have not been here since before the swipe card was implemented. The reloadable card is a great system. You put how much money you want on it, and on each game the card is swiped, deducting the amount off of the card. When the game is finished the amount of “tickets” won are automatically transferred to your card. No losing tickets that need to be saved to redeem for a prize. We went when COVID-19 restrictions were still in place. A certain number of people are allowed in at one time, hand sanitizer was provided and we were told we need to wear gloves to play the games (gloves were provided free of charge) However I was surprised to see several children running around and playing games with no gloves and all were bare foot including their mother. Fun place to go, will be back for sure.

A great place to take your kids to burn off some energy. Fun for all kinds of families. My girls really enjoy the children's rec area. The bathrooms are really old and could use a major overhaul. The bowling arena would really benefit from some digital upgrades too. But for the cost it's a great place to enjoy a family outing.

Really friendly and helpful staff but the arcade is pretty sad. Lots of machines out of order and at least half of the machines are 'gambling' style games like stack-em and Wheel of Fortune. It's pretty sad what arcades have become. Can't speak on the play structure or the bowling but they seemed good.

Great way to kill a snow day, especially with younger kids. Inflatable obstacle course, giant jungle gym, and toddle area keep the kids bust for 4 hours easy and costs less than 10 bucks for 2 kids. Arcade is the most high tech one in the city. Laser tag looks like fun, haven't done it though. Bowling is pretty good with new screens for score keeping.

My husband and I decided to try this place out last night. We had never been before. We showed up just after 7pm, and rented a bowling lane for 2 hours. We paid just over 32 dollars (10 dollars an hour, and 2 shoe rentals at 3.99). We were given a sheet to keep our own score (for me, that was new and I felt really old school). When we got to our lane, we noticed just how close you are to the people next to you, I mean were pretty much in each others laps. We started our game and realized quickly that this was awful. The pins looked like candle sticks, the balls were extremely small and light, and you had to reset your pins after your turn was over. We figured we would give it a try but we were really not happy with just how out dated this was. I decided to ask to have 1 of the hours refunded. When I got to the counter, I spoke to a girl named Rachel. I never once told her the reason why I wanted the refund for the second hour (not that she asked either), just simply asked if it could be done. She proceeded to tell me I only had 15 minutes left. I told her I paid for 2 hours. She said I only had 1. I told her I paid 32 dollars, and she said that was correct. I asked to clarify the price of everything and she said 10 for bowling, 3.99 for shoes. I mean, I'm not a walking calculator, but I know this doesn't add up to 32 dollars. She started to get really snappy with me, to the point that I told her she needed to relax. Finally the girl that originally helped came over and said she was sorry and she forgot to add the second hour. I said that wasn't a problem and I just wanted to have it refunded anyways. So this Rachel girl attempts to start this refund, she never apologized, and she continued to give complete attitude. I asked if there was a manager to speak with and Rachel said that was her. I was instantly BLOWN AWAY! I said that this was our first time there and said what an awful experience it had been. She didn't even look at me. I said to her, you know as a manager, this is usually when you try and apologize to your paying customer. She just barked at me again saying that she felt attacked and that she didn't want to deal with it. I never attacked her. I tried to make sense of paying 32 dollars for what she said was an hour of bowling. It's a good thing the other girl was around at that time to admit I had paid for 2 hours. I was so mad after all this that I asked to get refunded completely so I could just leave right away. I'll never go back here. I can't believe that this is how they do business, and treat customers. I have to say, for the amount of money this place makes, I can't believe they don't upgrade their bowling. Tracadie has like 5 people that live there and their bowling alley is on point! So very disappointing.

Fun for all ages, and the prices are reasonable for a large family outing. We are a family of 5 from age 33 to as young as 1 we spent hours there doing various activities and buying food and only spent $60. Places like this are hard to find around NB. Some things they could add would be Bumper cars and maybe even a go cart track. This place still gets 5 stars and we still haven't explored everything they have to offer.

Half of the games were broken. Bowling lanes kept shutting down on us and having to get switched from one lane to another. When we wanted our money back so we could leave they wouldn't give any refunds just a voucher to return and we didn't want to come back.

We visited from moncton and had a blast at the centre. The laser tag was awesome, the arcade games are new and work fantastic. We didnt encounter any problems, like you fo with the older games. The games were fun. The bowling was awesome and had big screens which we were able to catch the UFC . The staff was very friendly. The only thing I would criticize is the amount of tickets required to get a prize, for the amount of money you spend in the games compared to the cheap but expensive (in tickets) prize. We had a great time and look forward to returning. Also they have a great cantine/restaurant. It's a one stop, fun shop. You can buy family bundles including all or some of the activities, its great. Kingswood has always been understaffed and its ridiculous. I assume management is just terrible and cheap. July 1st only 3 people working; they have to cover the bar, food counter, arcade, shoe spraying, phone, front desk and all bowling and game problems, hope to God they weren't having to cook too! The 3 women there did a phenomenal job but Kingswood needs to realize they would make more money hiring more staff. 20 minute lineup for check in due to 1 staff, 5 or more minutes for a beer or order food. Many people would have just left before bowling or not drank or ordered food. Hire more staff so they don't have to look so stressed and sweat covered and I guarantee you'll make more money!

If you are looking for a place to keep children busy or to have some fun with friends and/or family, then this is the typical place you can go. It is everything you would expect - laser tag, bowling, climbing structures, bouncy castles, a place for infants to play, etc. The staff are not particularly friendly. They always seem so burnt out and are not eager to be of assistance. The food is classic junk and fast food, but a bit overpriced. The place itself is very unclean, gross and the staff do not seem to care very much. I have many times witnessed children wet themselves, only to be cleaned up hours later, or the next day! Not the safest place regarding COVID-19.

went during reading week of University, was quite packed, lots of parking and people as well. laser tag was great, wanted to do bowling but would have waited for an hour or so, so had to pass as i was with a large group of friends. was not expecting the small bowling ball here in fredericton even though it is the bigger city than Saint john. Many of the games out of order, given our pass and no direction to what to do. Went to play Lazer tag, no one there stood around for 10 min before someone came and then it's 7 1/2 min long. It's expensive for what's here. Wouldn't come back.

Kingswood was awesome during the first years it opened. My friends and I used to go alot for bowling and the teen dances they held. Now, it is pretty dated with too much going on all at once and not in a good way. The layout is hard to navigate if you're doing arcade, laser tag or the kids climber. Now they have also expanded the birthday party rooms squeezed way in the back. My kids have gone to a couple of birthday parties up there this year and it was pure chaos both times. It is so hard to keep track of all the kids because of the crowding that I couldn't really enjoy myself at all. Mostly the adults stood around for a while between activities with the kids running and complaining about having to wait so long. Kids are excited. Adults are annoyed. This should not even happen at a venue. The hostesses clearly have zero experience with children and have no clue how to run a party smoothly and we barely saw them. For the price you pay, you don't get nearly enough food either. We ended up buying extra pizzas so nobody was hungry. More waiting. The juice is made in a plastic jug which I think is very stingy of them and possibly unsanitary. Juice boxes would just be more logical. All this said, the Kingswood staff tried to tell our friend that his payment for the party couldn't be found in their computer and if he couldn't find his receipt from when he went in to pay, he would have to pay again. What kind of upstanding business doesn't keep records? Save your money and go somewhere more hospitable.

We arrived at 1pm and were told we couldnt do later tag or bowl until 2:15 and 2:30 respectively; so we signed up and played in the arcade. When we checked back they had a "scheduling mishap" and we couldnt do laser tag until 4pm (there were only 4 of us) and bowling was pushed until 2:30. At 2:30 they pushed it until 2:45, and ar 2:45 they told us we couldnt bowl until 4pm. I dont understand how a business like this was so chaotic; with staff running from place to place within the establishment without a proper waiting system in place. While we spent out time waiting there were multiple lanes not in use at all. I suggest getting some buzzers like they use in restaurants that will buzz when it's your turn to do later tag or bowl. Wont be coming back anytime soon.

Due to covid restrictions we had a 3 hr wait till we could get in but they took are name and called us when it was ready. Arcade games are anywhere from 75 points to 200. 100 points is about 1$ the more you buy the less points cost. Great way to spend an afternoon.

They have an arcade, a bowling alley, a pool table, a play area for young children, a gym and a laser tag. On fridays they have a special for unlimited bowling, 1000 arcade credits and unlimited lazer tag. For points the exchange rate is 1$=100 credits, most games are 200 credits. Personally I find the pool tables run down, you pay a dollar to play and your pool sticks are missing the tip. Theres also a water arcade game which smells like mold, while the game is fun I would be careful to keep food and drink away from it.

I love this place it’s the closet thing to a real arcade we have anymore in Fredericton. The staff always help with broken or jammed machines and the cost isn’t too high and it’s fun for the whole family. They have a gym and bowling and food and laser tag. Honestly it’s a really nice hangout but I wish they had more games and less space for all the little kids because if they focused on the teenagers a bit more and brought out some new games and activities or slides and bouncy climbers or something business would pick up for them because even though we’re teenagers we still wanna have fun too. But it is an awesome place to spend any day with your family and friends

Wow. Now that all of the new games are in Kingswood is better than ever. With classics such as claw machines and air hockey to amazing arcade games like Mario Kart it is easy to spend hours here. Plus $10 bowling all summer is a great way to hang out with friends for a reasonable price.

Went to Kingswood around 3:00 this afternoon to follow up as again there was no return call. Was told we don't answer the phones or return calls even though the recording states they will return call. They said they would put me on the waiting list. Said I was thinking more about Sunday. The place itself was very good and exceeded our expectations. Being a first time customer, we would have appreciated a bit more guidance from our assigned staff member as we were a bit confused (unsure what bowling alley out party has been assigned, we didn't know how to reset the pins so for about 5 minutes the kids wete throwing balls down without any pins up. , etc) Beside that, we really enjoyed our visit and will repeat. Would recommend. The kids had a blast and the price was reasonnable too.

The hours for Kingswood aren’t displayed on any of their websites properly. We booked a vacation hoping to enjoy some bowling and arcade fun, however they had closed four hours before advertised. When we had been in previously (nothing stating an early closing was mentioned or displayed) the heat was way up causing our time there unenjoyable as we weren’t able to do anything without sweating profusely. The bar and food counter was also not staffed so there was a thirty minute wait until we were able to put in a order. There was also no staff cleaning the tables after people had eaten there, which is incredibly unsanitary especially during a pandemic. Overall we had a bad experience and hope to enjoy Kingswood at another time when these issues are resolved.
