Okay Moose Jaw, you’re always complaining about not having enough good restaurants in town. Well here’s your chance to back a family owned restaurant and bar that truly delivers the goods. The atmosphere is fantastic and the wait staff are friendly and helpful. The two of us decided to have the Entree Platter for 3 - 4 people. Which included the in-house smoked brisket, baby back ribs, crispy fried chicken, corn on the cobb, baked beans, coleslaw, fries and cornbread. Way too much for two very hungry people, but so worth it. The ribs and sauce were super tasty, the cornbread melted in your mouth, the fried chicken so crispy and well seasoned and the brisket was exquisite! These people know how to pick good meat and cook it up equally as well. Support your local businesses while enjoying the food at the same time. It’s a win win for everyone. I highly recommend!

The young lady who served us provided great service! The menu was diverse, with many options. The surroundings looked to be clean and well kept. My lunch of porogies and sausage was very good. Husband's lunch of a hot hamburger sandwich was really garliccy, the meat patties were very garliccy!! His fries were almost inedible with so much salt that was added to them in the kitchen. BIL and SIL meals were good.

The last time I was l there with a friend was when it was still Rock Creek. Other than that, not much has changed. Food was awesome, except for when we decided to look at the dessert menu, we had no room! Oh well...next time order a half order or get something smaller and make room for the chocolate dessert (can't recall the name of it), but will be back many more times

The food was not good. We had stuffed mushrooms that I'm pretty sure were canned, not fresh (mushy, slimey texture that tasted like a brine). The fries are a standard frozen shoestring fry you can get at any grocery store. The burger was dry and tasted frozen. The fish was mushy, pretty sure it was frozen too. Nothing about the meat tasted fresh at all. Fries are one of the easiest things to make and if a restaurant can't make them fresh on site, then I question the rest of the menu. I won't be going back.

We went as part of their reopening. Was not so great. We got the big platter worth over $60. The brisket was extremely chewy and a bit dry. The corn on the cob was severely without any taste and also dry. It was impossible to get a drink even though we could see our waitress 5 feet away through the glass just standing their. The rest of the meal was just more of the same really with no highlights. It wasn't good in December when it was Rock Creek and I dont see much improvement. As a side note we sat next to the owner /managers. Their meal looked great

Went there for supper thinking it would be a healthier option but my veggies were complete mush or burnt they were not edible In the slightest the waitress was ok she was kinda snooty when I complained about the veggies asked if I wanted something different so I got a garden salad that came out with 10 pounds of dressing on it .. I was not happy it wasn’t very good and I would have liked to choose my dressing on the side my chicken was good but overall the experience was not great .

Stopped in for dinner in the Lounge on an overnight stay in Moose Jaw and was not disappointed! Staff were friendly and fun, and the food was fantastic. Solid in every way...a good choice!

Came in for food tonight because they had a large seafood menu. They brought out the seafood linguine without any garlic toast and the mussel shells had no mussels in them so I sent them back. They brought it out again with all the seafood being chewy and overcooked and the sauce tasting like butter and lemon juice. All I can say is I’m happy I didn’t order the $50 lobster. The sangrias were also disappointing they were in large mason jar glasses and tasted like pop they barely tasted like wine. The server never even apologized for me having to send my food back three times. This was my first time here and I definitely will not be back. The caesar also came with a pepperoni stick on it which was not stated on the menu and my daughter is pescatarian.

I went here with my wife and kids while passing through. We had three appetizers, lettuce wraps, calamari and firecrackers. All three were a disappointment. The lettuce wraps came with a filling that was mostly vermicelli noodles, a good tasting sauce and a few morsels of chicken and vegetables but only five pieces of lettuce. Not nearly enough for the filling. The calamari was terrible. It was quite tough and the sauce was bland and did not taste fresh. The firecracker is a bacon wrapped jalapeno with cream cheese and a piece of shrimp on it. I should have known that the shrimp would be overdone or the bacon undercooked or both (which is what happened.) The noodles in the kids menu item tasted like plastic (maybe the oil was burnt.) The service was very good and she brought extra lettuce right away when we requested it. The atmosphere in the restaurant is nice and kid friendly. I would recommend this place for drinks but our food was not enjoyable.

There were only 2 tables, but no experience were served. We looked through the menu for only a couple of minutes and she’s expecting that we’ll order right away,pushy! People dine in not just only for good food, but a well served guest makes people come back.

Came for supper with a girlfriend and everything was AMAZING. First off GET THE MUSHROOM CAPS! I wish I would have taken a picture of them but we ate them in 2.5 seconds. I had the seafood linguini and my girlfriend had a chicken pasta ( I forget the correct name) YUMM. For how busy it was our food came in good time and our service was excellent. We will definitely be back next time we come to town!

Food is good but service has been super slow and poor the last several times we've been in. We won't be going back often. Lunch took an hour and half and it was 28 minutes until we finally got a drink to our table! Never got drink refills, and took forever to order and pay. Need more, good staff!! And many have said the same to me as we've experienced. Step it up or loose customers!

Very disappointed from the last time I was there. Half of my salad ended up staying on my plate as the lettuce had gone bad or had wilted. The poutine appetizer was just ok, nothing to write home about and not much flavour. The chicken strips appeared to be burnt, they were extremely dark, almost like they had been blackened; however, I had ordered them in the past , so knew the difference. Unfortunately, I won't be back.

So close to a 5. Creek Burger, delish, juicy, cooked perfect. Booze Caesar, delish just right. Fries had great seasoning, made you eat them all, and the creme brulee cheesecake, I did not share. Wow. Why not a 5 star, had to ask twice for refill and waited a bit too long for desert. Not sure why but enough for me to care. Prices were good. Food alone, well done.

My partner had the Hoodoo Jambalaya and he was impressed and happy. Smidge heavy on the garlic but he still enjoyed it immensely. We were grateful for such great friendly service. My first visit based on recommendation. I ordered the Prime rib dinner. The entire meal was barely warm. The fat drippings started to solidify on the plate as I neared finishing. For $38 I will stick to the Keg. Not an enjoyable experience.

This moose jaw location is awful. Food is usually sub par. Service is ok once you get some. Last 5 times I've been ther I have been very un happy. Can't speak to the food as we never got to eat. My girlfriend and I came to town from regina for our anniversary supper as we had never tried this place and love trying new steak restaurants. The restaurant was supposed to be open until 10pm however when we walked in at 8:10pm the hostess said sorry we gave last call and we won't serve you, even though there were still 5 tables eating in the restaurant and lounge. Extremely upset but luckily the flats was open and gave excellent service and outstanding food.

Very expensive, ordered a med rare steak and came out medium well done, fries were cold like McDonald's, vegetables were cold, the only thing that was hot was the steak and it tasted like they put it on the grill with no seasoning, this place was great when it was rock creek, I had a steak when it was rock creek and it was great, pricey but not as pricey as now, I think I'll buy a kg of rib eye steak for 39.99 and cook it my self, I spent way too much money for me and my wife too recieve half pound of steak each!, it seems like they put you on hold so you buy more drinks too make more money, very sad how this business went from good too bad ????

Went to transition house fundraiser .presentation was awful. Coffee was not included for 25.00 . The eggs were over cooked . 1 slice of toast ,3 sliced of bacon, 2 eggs for 25.00. I'm not a big eater but the plate looked terrible. Mcdonalds would of been better. Very disappointed . Waitress was awesome. Also nobody from the transition house were there for presentation. Very disappointed .my party and I would never go to another fundraiser there.

My wife and I were visiting Moose Jaw and across the road from our hotel was Streets Steakhouse. Coincidentally, I was hungry for a good steak. After being seated and served our drinks, out of curiosity I decided to check out the reviews for this place. Though mostly favorable, there were a lot of negative reviews, especially on the steak. That made me apprehensive as far as the steak was concerned, they are costly, but I decided to order the 8oz. Filet anyway. My wife ordered the steak fajitas. Well, I can tell you mine and my wife's meals were absolutely fantastic! My steak, was a premium cut and done to perfection, medium as requested. It's not often I can praise a meal like this. I am normally quite particular when it comes to my meals, but this is definitely deserved. We had great service and just an awesome overall experience!

Great experience at Rock Creek. The service was excellent as well as everyone's meal, the steaks properly prepared, Cajun mashed potatoes & salad with the house dressing complemented the meal. If your in the area, I would definitely recommend Rock Creek! Second visit, not so good, 3 stars, undercooked steak , extremely tough (inedible) waitress takes it back eventually & retuns and asked if I would like a brownie, No I want a Steak, so they expedite another, cooked perfect great job! I wished the waitress had returned the sides and it would have been great meal.

Decided to check it out and it was the best decision we could have made. The blue cheese burger was the best I’ve ever had, and nothing but good remarks from the family. The staff was absolutely amazing. If you visit Moose Jaw I highly recommend stopping in.

Had lunch the other day and service was great but not to be surpassed by the quality of the meal. Absolutly amazing!!!

Great food, had the Daisy Duke pizza. Service was a little slow in the lounge and wasn't packed by any means, thats the only reason for 4 stars. Chicken fingers are breaded in house and looked amazing! Been here a couple times now and thats why we keep coming back! Great food and always something new to try!

This is a local steakhouse just off the highway in Moosejaw. The ambience inside the restaurant is chill with good use of lighting. There is also an outdoor patio, but the weather was too cold on our visit to sit outside. There is an ATM in the main entrance and a lounge on the one side. Ordered the SSB chicken club and an 8oz sirloin steak. Both meals were satisfying but the steak was so juicy and tender. The only reason this is not a five star review is that I originally ordered the prime rib sandwich, but our server was new and punched in the order wrong. The SSB club was good, but I was hoping for the prime rib. I couldn't let the sandwich which was served go to waste, so I ate it. But definitely order the steak here.

Had a meal here while traveling as it was close to the hotel, and I'm glad we did! The wings (hot) were the best I've had in a very long time. The meals were also very delicious. I found there to be plenty of seafood in my linguini and it tasted amazing. My wife's steak was cooked well, but she found the vegetables to be a little on the spicy side. We let our server, Nancy, know and she got them replaced immediately with a nice garlic butter sauté. In fact, Nancy was very pleasant, sweet, and kind throughout our meal. Prices were reasonable, but a little on the highside if you are traveling on a budget. I would definitely come back and try more of what looks like a great menu!

We visited Moose Jaw this weekend. I did a lot of research as to which steakhouse would be best for our first meal as a newly engaged couple. After looking at the menu for Streets we decided to go there for some nice steaks and seafood. Menu on their website looked amazing. A bit pricey but I don't mind spending a bit extra on a nice meal. Our surprise when we arrived at Streets is the menu is no where close to what was on their website. No lobster tails, no scallops, no king crab. We considered leaving at that point but the ambiance seemed nice and we decided to give it a go. We both ordered the ribeye $43/each. I upgraded with the Shrimp in creole butter $5 extra. Tasted like frozen shrimp with Chili powder on them and over cooked. The Mushrooms in White garlic sauce $5 extra consisted of burnt onions and undercooked mushrooms with maybe a hint of salt on them. No where did I see a white garlic sauce. The steaks were about 1/4" thick and no where near the medium rare that we asked for. More like well done on both. I'm a big eater and never leave a piece of meat on my plate after a good steak. I barely choked down half the "steak". The "steak" itself had no seasoning on it. The stuffed potato skin was burnt so bad I could not cut through it with my steak knife. The highlight of our meal was the mashed potatoes my fiance got with her "steak" they were just alright. Other highlight of the night was the pizza we ordered from BP's after our meal at Streets to fill us up. Our server was good, very friendly, ambiance was nice but no where near worth the $180 bill we got at the end of the meal. Very disappointing. My advice to the owners of Streets. Go to Saskatoon and eat at Carvers. See what a $40-$50 ribeye looks and tastes like and seriously re think the pricing on your menu.

My server was great. Drinks arrived promptly. Appetizers were served in a decent time. I then waited 50 min after the arrival of my appetizer for my meal before I finally decided to ask for the bill. I watched three seperate tables come in after I did receive their food and leave before I finally did as well. Disappointed to say the least.

Food was good. Service was horrible! Stood in the entrance waiting to be seated. Nobody around. No one else in the place. I called out yellow. Still no one. Finally someone came out and seated us. She was not friendly at all. You could tell she did not want to be there! Went to pay and exact same thing happened! No one in sight! Won’t be back for a while! :(

Food was only okay, burger seemed a touch generic and brisket for the brisket poutine didn't seem homemade, however the various signs around the restaurant really cemented the fact I won't be back. Why would you put this pressure on your customers, let alone your staff? It screams unprofessional, and it showcases to me you're only willing to pay your employees the absolute bare minimum. If people don't want to come back to work, perhaps consider taking some of the profits from the high priced foods and paying the staff a wage that allows them to live, without tips, to ensure people are willing to come back. I cannot fathom the thought process of plastering these all over the front of the restaurant. It made me feel terrible for the staff, having to work with whomever thought it was a good idea to do this.

This pub was closest to my hotel so I figured I would give it a shot. Food was actually pretty good. They have a decent sized menu. About a dozen different beers on tap, including a local one from Regina. The waitress that I had was also very friendly. Food took about 10 min to come out, so I thought that was good for a pub.

I won 2 steak dinners through the Moose Jaw radio station Mix 103.9 and am I ever happy I did! The food was fantastic! The steaks were cooked PERFECTLY. They warned us when we got there that the kitchen was short staffed but the service was quick and everything was excellent. We will definitely be back!!

Rock Creek in Moose Jaw offers a warm and inviting environment! The staff are friendly and welcoming. And the food is amazing!! The Tuna Voodoo Salad is scrumptious! Sangrias are original and Caesars are very tasty!! Highly recommend visiting this great restaurant during your visit to Moose Jaw!!

I took my brother to Streets to celebrate his milestone birthday (won't mention which one ;-). The service was good, veggies and chef's potato were good and the bernaise was good too. But let's talk steaks... we both ordered the $45 filet. When you spend that much on a steak, I expect to be wowed. The steak seasoning was good, but I ordered mine medium rare and my brother ordered his medium. Mine came in at a medium well and so did his. Also, the filet was 3/4" thick...that's sinful for a steak house. In my experience, with thin steaks, there's a higher chance of them being overcooked (Steaks 101). For filet (or any steak really), you want a nice thick cut. I passed on my comments to the server but also wanted to mention it here for the owners to see. It's good to see local owners of this steak house in MJ and wish them all the best, but I think it's worth having the discussion with the cooks so that more consistent results are experienced by customers.

Went there for supper last night and was greatly disappointed. Had the fish and chips but took a salad instead of chips. Salad was so small maybe a fork full. Left there hungry wife had the Montreal steak sandwich with ceaser salad which again was so small plus they added $2.00 for it. Would not go there again. Too expensive for what you get and the servers were not friendly at all.

The first thing I noticed upon first glance of the menu was extremely high pricing... So I ordered the 17 dollar ssb club sandwich and would expect it to be amazing for that price. Well no it was mediocre at best with a very small piece of chicken inside. I was actually shocked at the small piece of chicken considering the price point on this item. The bun was hard & dry, had fatty bacon that was not crispy and it lacked on toppings such as, you can see a quarter tomato in the picture.. Again your not getting what you paid port with this item. The food and service was far from great and I was not impressed or (wow'd) by either. Also both our waters had a brown chunk of something in the ice which was pretty gross. 2 stars and I think I'm being generous with that. This was my first time eating at streets and will likely be my last. NOTE: The was no type of separation of customers in the lounge with no social distancing at all. There was other groups of people sitting on both sides of our booth that were within 3 feet of me. Other restaurants have blocked every second table to space people out. But at streets there is no system at all that I could see.

Food price is a little on the heavy side you could have came the same meal larger portions cheaper price at other restaurants however with presentation ambience and a cozy place to eat well worth the money paid.

Bland fish and chips, clearly not home made. Tartar was a mayo/honey mustard mix. No pickles to be seen in the tartar. Highly disappointing. Ordered some wings as they were half price. No up-sell for ranch was even asked. Now with that said the hot wings were by far the best wings I have had in over a year. The sauce was so complex that I would be honoured to watch its creation. The issues that I have seen are perplexing. They seem to to be situated around the older bartender who spent more time on her phone then me during my stay. Surprising they spent most of my time in the pub at the booth talking about other locations to work as I was one of 2 tables in the pub at 8:44pm. Easy fixes but unless addressed this will only compound to bigger issues. If it wasn’t for the proximity to my hotel I wouldn’t visit this location ever 6 weeks.

It was...okay? My family came to town and I suggested we go there for lunch after I heard good things. Lunch menu was really pricy with everything being around 18-20 dollars but if the portions and food is good its justified. I had the chase burger which wasn't bad but when the steak sandwich came for the others it was a giant plate with a piece of white toast and a little round steak placed on top.. the second the server left we all chuckled. She said it tasted like it was cooked in a unwashed pan/grill and I tried it and agreed it had a weird taste that couldn't of been seasoning. They both left unimpressed and I felt guilty for suggesting it to begin with. Prob wouldn't recommend for lunch to anyone. I can certainly see why we were the only ones there. Maybe the supper portions are better.
